Very friendly staff, everyone spoke English (which is unfortunately not normal in France). They have gluten-free options at the breakfast if you ask for it, and there is water, tea and coffee for free in the rooms. Rooms were quite nice and comfy, and they have beehives on the hotel roof. Definitely recommend!

Great location. Staff was super friendly, and Alda made everything nicer with her constant smile and availability. The team also opened the breakfast earlier on the day of the marathon and made things much easier for us. We will definitely come back to this hotel when visiting Nice again. Thanks a lot!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Florence Nice. The location was very central and convenient, with many nearby dining options. Close to the beautiful strand and walkable, sometimes at distance, to many sight-seeing destinations. The desk staff were very personable and spoke English, so we didn't need to embarrass ourselves speaking woeful pidgin French. In-suite accommodations were very nice, the bed and pillows were comfy, nice gratis shampoo/body wash in the sink/shower, and we especially appreciated the 24-hour espresso machine available gratis on the mezzanine to all guests! Very fun, contemporary, original art throughout the public spaces added to the fun. The one drawback was the very snug quarters, especially the lavatory. After a 2-week cruise, we had large bags that created obstacles in the room due to minimal floorspace and a pretty small closet, but this was managed when we discovered one open bag could be slid under the bed for stowing (and to remove the nighttime tripping hazard). It was not the first time in Europe where we have experienced teensy bathrooms in beautiful old properties that have been repurposed into lovely boutique hotels, but as we age (late 60s), contorting ourselves onto a toilette that has about 8" of legroom is harder and harder. It works, but it's gymnastics. Otherwise, we loved it!

Really enjoyed our stay. Beds comfy, great location for exploring, staff friendly and helpful. Don't expect a full English breakfast. If you're one for just lounging around the hotel for most of your day you might get a little bored. But wouldn't want to stay indoors with so much outside of the hotel's doorstep. Definitely recommend, would definitely come back.

The hotel has a good location. That is to say, its close to the city, shops, restaurants and train transport. The room was abit small but clean and the staff was professional, very helpful and friendly. Well if you need a quick place to stay then its the right place and affordable too. I do recommend😊.

We spent 3 nights at Hotel Florence. The staff was very nice and spoke English without any problems. We got a quiet room, far from the elevator, which we really appreciated because we had a great night's sleep. The breakfasts were in the form of a buffet and were tasty, we love French sweet breakfasts. There were many pancakes, croissants, various pastries and their jams to choose from. Excellent coffee, chocolate or 3 types of juices to drink. The room was clean, had comfortable beds and Wi-fi worked great. As for the location, the hotel is in a quiet street almost in the center of the city, which was great for sleeping, but it was quite a distance to the beach. But it´s a very nice walk through the center of Nice.

Reasonably priced hotel with a perfect location, good breakfast with a lot to choose from. The hotel is well-run with a friendly and efficient staff. The building is old - hence a poor phonic insulation - but that is not too high a price to pay given all the pluses I mentioned above.

This is a very poorly maintained hotel. Bathroom sink was cracked, so leaking water. On my second night I found a very suspicious stain on my bedding ( staff didn’t seem to be bothered or even clench), it looked like dried up dudu, there was cockroach in the bathroom, room is excessively small even for France standards. For the amount I paid over 150€ per night, I was expecting a lot more. Pictures are definitely deceiving. Besides the location, this hotel has nothing to offer and is not worth the value, at all.

Small, friendly with nicely decorated rooms. Tasty breakfast. In the middle of city centre, yet quiet rooms. Restaurants just outside the door. I would certanly go here again.

Fantastic! Much better than even the far more expensive Nice hotels. The place was spotlessly clean, wonderful breakfast. Exellent room with great facilities. The staff were very friendly, on the ball, and very efficient. Absolutely brilliant value for money.

Good located hotel, good sized room and good breakfast, but there was a major problem- the heating/air condition in the room has not been cleaned for a long time probably, thus, the air in the room was very dusty. My daughter has allergic rhinitis condition and she could barely breathe inside the room!

We discovered this little gem in May of 2022 and loved it so much, that we rebooked it for our honeymoon in November of 2022. The staff, as always were lovely. The location, service and amenities were amazing. Absolutely the best hotel breakfast in Nice!! We already have plans to be back in May 2023! S&T ❤️

Very nice and centrally located hotel. Perfect if you want to tourist in Nice. The staff was nice and helpful, the rooms quite small but well-kept. Nice patio for the rooms at the top

Excellent location and breakfast. The rooms are notoriously small in France, but OK for tourist demand. The air in the rooms and corridors is stuffy as due to security reasons the windows should not be kept open. Staff is kind and helpful.

A very strategically positioned, well run hotel; 3mins walk to the tram red line and 5 to the tram to airport (1.50€..). Reception very helpful, and well appointed room. Attention to limit environmental impact. A good breakfast was included in our deal.

Stayed for 4 nights. Great location, friendly staff, and good breakfast. The ladies serving breakfast were super helpful and they always had smiles on their faces. My room was small, especially the bathroom; but I could manage. Great performance/price ratio. I highly recommend!

Friendly, solution-oriented staff. Noiseless clean room. Pillow mattress is comfortable. Wifi was only working near the door. If there is a suitable room, they change it. Breakfast options are varied and satisfying. Special thanks to Zoe for the detailed guidance. If they deposit 222 euros and it returns to my card, great!

Hotel Florence has warm hospitable staff. All of our requests were honoured in such a pleasant manner. Hotel Florence is conveniently located to the bike rental outlet, the beach, shopping and an excellent assortment of restaurants. There is limited space for bike storage but they made room for the storage of 6 our bikes. The breakfast room was wonderful and we were well taken care of there. There is a wide assortment of breakfast choices and food is all locally sourced. Including the honey. There are hives in the roof and you can sample that honey.

The truth was quite disappointing because first they gave me a small room knowing that I was going with a dog and with my partner, they gave me a solution which I appreciate but they still did not refund the amount that they blocked from the card according to them as a guarantee. We only stayed one night, before checking in they had already blocked a certain amount, when entering the hotel they made me pay the amount telling me that the first amount was not actually a payment but a pre-authorization, but this amount did not return to my card, and still having passed a week they did not give me any solution and only told me that I have to keep waiting, when at the beginning they told me that this amount returned when I checked out which was a lie because it did not return, and they continue saying that they already canceled this amount but they did not return it to me so I keep waiting. I call every day and yet they don't know what to say to me anymore and they don't give me any solution. Unfortunately if it continues like this I will have to take legal action for this my experience was terrible. And it is not a problem of the bank because they were the ones who blocked this amount from me.

Great location and experience. One of the best hotels I have stayed at in all my years of traveling. Rooms aren't very big but that is to be expected; they are clean and were bigger than the other hotels we stayed at in France. They provide complementary coffee and water, something hotels in other cities in France did not. 10 minute walk to the beach, we did not use transit in Nice even once despite it apparently being quite convenient. Maxime at the front desk was extremely welcoming, helpful and professional throughout our stay. He provided many recommendations and was helpful on multiple occasions. We had a private tour booked with a third party not show up at the expected time, Maxime called them on our behalf and got it worked out for us. I would stay here again upon returning to Nice

Perfect place. Centrally located but quiet. 10min. walk to train station Nice-Ville or the beach and the old town. L2 Tram to the airport around the corner! Lots of shops and restaurants. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Were there the second time and will come back again! Try the junior suite with terrace. You'll love it.

The hotel is beautiful in a central location. The staff were all kind and welcoming. The breakfasts were definitely worth it each morning. I also love that the hotel is green- the key room cards and the business cards are something I will always remember.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Generous sized rooms, nice breakfast options, softest mattress in the world! Great location and easy to get around. Staff even let me keep my bags there after check out so I could hit the beach with my wife. Top place and hope to be back soon. Rob

Fabulous centrally located hotel. Walking distance from airport tram stop (the end stop in central shopping area of Nice). Just pull out google maps. Welcoming staff, efficient check in, and a lift to go upstairs with our bags. Our room was clean and beds comfortable. Our only issue was mosquitoes! Beware those of you that are attractive to them! I counted 10 in our room! Do not open windows for fresh air (our room faced a inner courtyard that had greenery). Turn on the airconditioning in your room, it works well. Staff were very helpful with providing room spray to kill the mosquitoes.

Too small rooms. The carpet on the floors stinks. The air conditioning does not work as should it be. With only 10 euros you could upgrade for superior rooms of acceptable size but they did not propose. I do not recommend it to people who need to rest comfortably.

Upon arrival at the hotel after 2pm my double room wasn't ready so they suggested I stay in a twin room which was ready. Since I was only staying one night it wasn't an issue. The room was cozy and modern and the best part - air conditioning! Located right in the center of town off Avenue Jean Medicin with parking facilities less than 5mins walk away. Would stay here again.
