We
enjoyed
our
stay
at
Hotel
Florence
Nice.
The
location
was
very
central
and
convenient,
with
many
nearby
dining
options.
Close
to
the
beautiful
strand
and
walkable,
sometimes
at
distance,
to
many
sight-seeing
destinations.
The
desk
staff
were
very
personable
and
spoke
English,
so
we
didn't
need
to
embarrass
ourselves
speaking
woeful
pidgin
French.
In-suite
accommodations
were
very
nice,
the
bed
and
pillows
were
comfy,
nice
gratis
shampoo/body
wash
in
the
sink/shower,
and
we
especially
appreciated
the
24-hour
espresso
machine
available
gratis
on
the
mezzanine
to
all
guests!
Very
fun,
contemporary,
original
art
throughout
the
public
spaces
added
to
the
fun.
The
one
drawback
was
the
very
snug
quarters,
especially
the
lavatory.
After
a
2-week
cruise,
we
had
large
bags
that
created
obstacles
in
the
room
due
to
minimal
floorspace
and
a
pretty
small
closet,
but
this
was
managed
when
we
discovered
one
open
bag
could
be
slid
under
the
bed
for
stowing
(and
to
remove
the
nighttime
tripping
hazard).
It
was
not
the
first
time
in
Europe
where
we
have
experienced
teensy
bathrooms
in
beautiful
old
properties
that
have
been
repurposed
into
lovely
boutique
hotels,
but
as
we
age
(late
60s),
contorting
ourselves
onto
a
toilette
that
has
about
8"
of
legroom
is
harder
and
harder.
It
works,
but
it's
gymnastics.
Otherwise,
we
loved
it!
