    1. The shower doesnt work 2. The elevator does not work 3. You have to re enable your roomcard at the reception every 3 hours. Its a shame really as this hotell does look nice on the inside. It should be classed as 1-2 star hotell not 3 star. Dont choose this, theres hundreds of better hotells in france.

After reading the reviews, we were very sceptical. But there was nothing wrong with our stay. All of the staff was helpful and welcoming. The rooms were cleaned every day. Good air condition and the fridge got really cold. The hotel is located very central. 2 minute walk to the Train station and 1 minute walk to the main shopping street with the tram going every 5 minutes. The only «negative» from our stay is that the curtain rod were loose and fell once, and the bathroom door wouldn’t always close properly. But we didn’t expect luxury as this was the cheapest hotel we could find in the area. Overall very happy with our stay at Hotel Azuera and Nice.

This hotel is basic, but it's a great base for a holiday. It's near the station and not too far from the beach. You get a lovely floor length patio door in each room that opens onto a small balcony. The sound protection isn't great so it can be loud at times. The bathrooms are small, but you get a sink, shower and toilet so what more do you want? There's even a small bin and towel rail. Breakfast is served between 7 and 10 costs €6 per person.

The hotel was fine but not more. We asked for an extra pillow and that was not possible, extra soap was not possible. We never got any cleaning and we stayed 2 nights. The breakfast was okey but not that many options. The rooms where outdated and not well isolated.

Terrible hotel - I wish I never booked here. Front desk was unhelpful, we booked a room for 3 people and this is what they gave us!? A room full of beds with no desk or counter space, no room for us to put our luggage, No working WiFi in the room, and big bathroom with no toilet paper, and gross sheets….. Stayed the night (because we checked in late) but left immediately in the morning.

Everything was great, the staff is really kind and helpful, the room was clean, the breakfast was classic buffet breakfast, but everything was delicious and fresh. I really do not understand why this hotel is so underrated. I recommend it. 😊

Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever had at a hotel. According to my booking, my check in was at 2:30pm. When I got to the hotel was told that check in was at 3. Came back at 2:58pm. Girl at check in desk was on her cell phone and didn’t even look up until exactly 3pm. Instead of a double bed, we got two single pushed together. Shower was broken. AC was dripping any time it was on. Toilet seat was broken. Bathroom sink was falling apart. Will never stay here again.

Air con is good, wifi is not good, elevator is not good. Our toilet didn't flush properly either which isn't really the plan when you book a hotel. Mysterious tissue stuck to the ceiling as well. The rooms were fairly spacious and come with a mini-fridge. Overall an ok stay.

ATTENTION : BEWARE OF THEFT AT HOTEL AZUREA My name is Mateusz Kobylarz I was a long term guest at Hotel Azurea. I thought this hotel was wonderful, until I returned one night to find the x-box that i left out in my room gone. I had left It out many times before with no problems, so felt safe here, until that point. I went to the receptionist who had always been respectful and explained what had happened, and that and in fact the X-box had belonged to a friend of mine, so I felt more desperate to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, the last few weeks have been a circus. Their should only be 3 people with access to the room, my self, the cleaner and the receptionist, and of course, no knows anything. Each time I come in or call, or ask to see the video tape from that evening to see if anyone one could have broken in, I am told the manager will help me to resolve the situation, yet mysteriously the manager is never there when she says he will be. I have tried to ask for a phone number to speak with him directly, however according to her this is impossible as he only meets in person. I have never heard of a manager who does not have a phone especially one who manages a hotel as esteemed as this one is striving to be. This situation is also causing tension with my friend, and we are now, after 2 weeks needing to seek legal council. So long story short, if you plan on staying at the Hotel Azurea BEWARE OF THEFT.

I forgot to write this review but came across the hotels email to me dated October 2018. I was unable to keep my hotel reservation as my friend had passed away. I explained this in the email and asked for a refund as I would no longer be travelling. I received abuse and complete lack of sympathy from the hotel. I don’t know how they are still running. Also, I purchased a room which was ‘fully refundable’ and the hotel did not meet this agreement. Due to stress and things I was going through I decided to cut my losses. Please avoid this hotel.

Very bad experience I had. I booked for 2 nights 25-26 Oct 2018. First night they told that they are overbooked and sent us to a nearby hotel. So we again needed to repack our bags next morning. Next night they first provided a room which was not clean and used by leavers. So after complaining they shifted us to another room where air conditioning was not working. We complained again. But no further help. We spent the night with limited sleep. Only positive gesture was they provided one free breakfast. The service was pathetic. Even the information on the on street parking was wrong.

The rooms were so small that was difficult to walk around. Very dirty everything, specially under the beds. Looks like no one have cleaned there in weeks. The hallways smells rotten and the breakfast was of a very low quality. In conclusion, worst hotel of my life and worst option to stay in Niza.

The food was decent, however the noise at night was not. You could hear people at the stairway from your room and, as we were at the front of the hotel, there was a lot of outside noise. The beds were uncomfortable and the staff weren't very pleasant. However, the duvets were extremely soft and warm and the condition of the rooms was alright. Not my go to hotel, though, if I visit Nice again.

If I could, it would be less than 1 star. This place is truly disgusting. To list the problems: - It smells horrible - The shower was dirty - The sink was dirty - The toilet was uncleaned (with pee on it) - There is no lock on the bathroom door - The furniture is outdated and feels EXTREMELY cheap - the rooms tiny - in a ruff area - mattress was solid - The bed sheets dirty - so much noise outside I am not risking having breakfast here. We have booked another hotel for the next couple of days. Do not come here.

To start with, we were provided the wrong room type for which we had paid. No changes were done due to unavailability of rooms, hence lack of organization. In addition, the bathroom was dirty and the towels as well (incl. insects). Also, on our second day some random guy opens the door with a spare key and asks if the bathroom has any issue, meanwhile we were sleeping. Never experienced a similar thing before. Also, if you are sensitive to smells, do not go here, as everything smells. On the other hand, the balcony was very nice and AC was okay as well. To conclude, a very unpleasant and disturbing stay.
