Pros: Location, black out curtains, friendly staff Cons: Cleanliness, noise, TV, no room service Hotel: We wanted to like this hotel. The location is great and the outside is lovely to look at. However, we were greatly disappointed from the moment we stepped into our room. It was clear that our room was not cleaned properly as we found toe nail clippings in the shower, hair in the bedsheets and on the bathroom counter, a used coffee pad in the machine, half used toilet paper not even folded up, and water marks all along the windowsill. The pool closes early as then it becomes a restaurant. Noise in the streets, room, and hallways woke us up every night (we stayed 4 nights). Additionally the tv would turn on on its own in the middle of the night so we had to unplug it from the wall. Dining: There is no room service which was truly a downside as it was quite hot and after long days it would have been perfect to just have that. The rooftop restaurant (where the pool closes) is overly expensive for the quality of food and not accommodating. It was an evening in the middle of a heatwave and staff refused to let anyone switch to tables in the shade as they were "all reserved" even though we also had a reservation and those tables were not sat for 45 more minutes. Breakfast buffet is $22 per person.

Large room, lovely view from our room on the 5th floor of the beach. Great buffet breakfast. In a good location, close to everything. Only complaint, hair dryer sucks, it the kind that's attached to wall and awkward to use. Also which there was a regular door instead of a glass door getting into the bathroom, no privacy.

Great attention to specific requests like high floor, dental kit. Rooms are clean and modern. I recommend the junior suites which offer nice see view thanks to full wall window.

I loved this place. Firstly, it was a beautiful hotel and very easy to find. Secondly, everyone was lovely. The front desk staff were so friendly and welcoming and helped us with some day trip suggestions. The gentleman at the bar was fantastic too, and very attentive. Thirdly, the room had a great view and was nice with a very comfortable bed. And what really sold me is that they had some of the nicest pens I've ever written with, and when I asked for one they instead gave me 5. I've been using them ever since!! Such a small thing but it made a big difference.

Had an incredibly frustrating experience and poor stay at AC Nice. We checked in in the afternoon. Several hours later, upon pulling back the bed sheets, we noticed a red mark / red stain in the bed. Entirely grossed out, we took pictures of the stain, told the front desk, ordered an Uber and left. We wanted to get out immediately. We therefore, did not even stay the night at the hotel and booked a different hotel in Cap Ferrat at about 9pm. I've since followed up countless times with the AC hotel & Bon Voy's customer service, with no apology, refund of points, anything. I've never had such a poor experience with a hotel management as here, and I've stayed in 50+ SPG/Marriot Bon Voy properties.

Nice hotel in Nice. Well placed in Promenade des Anglais close to Hotel Negresco. Yo can see the beach and sea in lateral sight. This picture is from room 108 at fiest floor. There is a terrasse with bar at 7th floor .

Great location. Really close to the beach. What I didn’t like was the fact that the hotel website said they had a heated pool, they didn’t. The one restaurant they have, has a very, very limited food menu. Almost nothing for vegans / vegetarians. Rooms are not very well isolated. Basically it’s good, not great and hence the 3 star average. The staff was really polite though which is nice! :)

Terrible service at checking in. The lady at front desk upfront says the room is not ready and some important guests have checked out late and the policy says the room might be ready after 3pm but is not obligatory. The service at rooftop restaurant was also terrible. Waited for 30min to someone show up. The only nice thing about this hotel is the location.

Great option for Marriott members to stay. Rooftop bar has got some of the best views, but music experience could be better. DJ was playing very random music from EDM and Rock selections with intermittent stops while guests were enjoying music.

I stayed here for three (3) nights over New Years 2024, and the staff were the true highlight of the visit. From the Front Desk, to Housekeeping, to the pop-up restaurant staff, everyone truly went out of their way to provide a fantastic experience. As you will see with other reviews, the rooms are a bit tired. However, everything was clean and I was happy with my top floor location. I find it a bit odd that there were *not* any USB connection ports in the suite. Truly bewildering in this day and age, but not a deal breaker. As you will see from the pictures, an interesting layout for the room, but comfortable nonetheless. Although the rooftop bar was closed for the winter, it still provided access for some amazing views. Another interesting fact is that this is the only AC Hotel that I have ever been to that does *not* have an AC Lounge (???). If you love those lounges as much as I do, then you should know this beforehand. Again, not a deal breaker, but something that was a bit disappointing. I look forward to returning again at some point, and I thank the entire staff for a great stay!

The location of the hotel is great just off Promenade des Anglais. The hotel team is great. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The property, however, is tired. Very plain rooms. My partial sea view room (714) had many damaged pieces of furniture. The shower temperature was extremely difficult to regulate - either scalding or cold. No platinum upgrade. Maybe invest in the rooms before the gardens. OK experience, especially if one will spend most of the time on the beach or otherwise outdoors.

I’m a little disappointed with this hotel Locations it’s good , just half a block from the beach, 5 min cab from train station, there is a tram station just 2 blocks also The hotel lacked a little bit of good service, breakfast was nothing great and starting at 7am The room is okay and bathroom amenities was just average

Great hotel, better than some of the bigger names on Prom. Des Anglais The staff are very friendly. The rooftop is a great way to see the landscape of Nice.

My daughter and I met two wonderful staff at front desk. They are Mr. Gwenn and Mr. Mattieu Bogliettii. Mr. Gwenn helped our Chek in and he recognized my daughter's birthday was just a day before and said " Happy Birthday." It is only a word but i was impressed he is very careful to handle guest information and made us happy. Imagine someone blessed in a strange place. Also, his collegue Mr. Mathieu help where we going and showed us the restaurans list. I think the staffs working there are well prepared. While we were staying in Nice, the weather was as goog as i expected. However we felt feeling at home due to its good hospitality. Thanks.

Rooms are quite shabby and don't look as nice as the pictures at all in real life. No coffee or tea in the room just paper cups thought that should be standard. Roof top area ok but again rough around the edges. Very overpriced. Hotel does not face the beach they way it is shown in photos online.

Best Hotel here! Clean large room with the view are very important now during this epidemic situation! Good room service and friendly, professional staff at the reception

very poor service. we had called in advance to inform of our arrival with flight details but we were made to wait over 3 hours for our room to get ready - even after the official check in time. Had a child with us and hence was very inconvenient. I am a marriot loyalty card member but still got such poor service

The hotel location is perfect, right next to the Promenade des Anglais. There is an amazing rooftop terrace with an incredible view and a swimming pool. We loved our stay! A special thanks to Elaine and Filiipo from the Reception - super friendly and very helpful! If you are going to stay in Nice I suggest this property! Grazie, Raffaella & Gennaro

We stayed twice in June and July 2022. While the check-in was much smoother in June, the customer service overrall is good. The bell boys are great and friendly. The rooftop restaurant is a must! I don't like eating at hotel restaurants in general, but this is worth it. The pool is wonderful and a refreshing break from the sea which is just a minute walk away. Not enough transats though, but that's because most of the terrasse is for the restaurant tables and that gets fully booked... I had wondered how the beach would be prior to staying: there is plenty of space and we felt our bag was safe (with so little valuables in it anyways), yes water shoes are a must, yes you can splurge in one of the beach clubs if you don't want to lounge on the pebbles. The first room we stayed in (in June) had a bit of water damage near the shower. We didn't have breakfast included in our first stay, so we explored cafés (really close on the streets east of the hotel, we went to Café Noisette). But we were so pleasantly surprised by the breakfast buffet on our second stay!

Really good hotel! The rooms are confortables, big and clean. The staff is friendly and polite. The breakfast is super complete! There is a terrace at the top with nice views of the beach and te city. Only a detail that the gym is a bit small and hide at the bottom of the hotel, next to the garage for cars and was available for maximum one person because of covid. But globally all good in my stay!

Nice hotel, great location, superb breakfast, friendly staff and great roof top pool. The only negatives was the price of beer in the roof top pool area was too expensive in my opinion. We had another issue with our room TV turning on by itself in the middle of the night several times which woke my family and this didn't get fixed after we reported it twice. Other than these issues we enjoyed our stay at the AC.

Rooms were clean with coffee, tea, water available. Service staff was very accommodating. Front desk very helpful. Rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant was a little undersized but enjoyable. Would recommend reservations if eating dinner or after about 7pm. Across the street from the promenade and within easy walking distance of all restaurant types. A bit on the pricy side. Stayed during the first part of June.

Nice roof top bar. Rooms are practical. Close to the Promenade. Unfortunately sometimes expensive.

The staff is very rude. I arrived at the hotel at 5.30pm but the room wasn't ready. It's been a long journey for us. I complained about it and didn't accept the temporary room because it will be much trouble to unpack and repack. One of the staff start to raise her voice responding to my complain. She even said that she didn't want to talk to me. We checked out the next day without following up any refund. The attitude is really unacceptable. And the toilet at the lobby was very dirty.
