The hotel was just ok. It is showing it’s age, and is in need of some renovations. We stayed in a junior suite, and the size was ok, however, be aware there are multiple room types. Online it showed updated renovated rooms, but we did not receive one of those. In our room the blackout shutters did not close properly, and it would get very bright in the room in the morning. We were also facing the street and it was very noisy. It is not soundproofed well. Another thing to note is we were on the third floor and once we entered our room the wifi did not work. We could not use our firestick or anything because the signal was not strong enough. We did bring the issues to the hotel and they offered to let us change rooms, on the second day of complaints, but it was midnight and to move all of our stuff and kids was more of a hassle. Prior to arrival, the hotel was great with sending information. All the staff were very courteous and helpful. The location is nice, it’s a short walk to the promenade and Place Massena. Breakfast is limited. The scrambled eggs were runny most days, and pancakes and crepes were cold. Overall, it was an ok stay. For the price and being labeled as a 4 star hotel, I expected more. If we visit Nice again, I would stay somewhere else.

This hotel gave us a two hour notice by email to confirm our room a day in advance. This room was pre booked 6 months ago. We were currently traveling from another country so when we got there at 8pm they had canceled our 3 days of stay. No phone call to let us know or confirm the reservation. I reckon they cancelled due to high demand of hotels in the area, so they could sell it for twice the price. The staff was not helpful at all. Due to the high demand we couldn’t find a new hotel either. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I had a very bad experience with this hotel. They cancelled our stay per email on a two hour notice. We where travelling so we didn’t read the e-mail. They didn’t call us or send us a text, so they didn’t really wanna get a hold of us. The staff was not friendly or helpful. I will not recommend this hotel. Think twice before you book here. My experience is that they are not reliable at all.

Really wonderful hotel in Nice. Clean rooms, yummy breakfast, excellent location, and really kind hotel staff. When I missed breakfast, the staff offered to bring out some French pastries for me. Shout out to Margot who was very kind at check-in and offered great suggestions of what to visit throughout the city.

We have received one of the smaller rooms, however with great terrace which was an advantage. Hotel is perfectly located- few minutes walk to Promenade, but quite and cozy neighborhood. The only problem was the smell in the breakfast area (it was like the cleaning towel wasn't washed, or something get bad under the floor). We were lucky that weather allowed us to eat in the garden.

The hotel has a great location, close to the old town. The tram station is at 5 min walk and it takes you everywhere (tram no 2 from the airport directly). The rooms are large and high (old building) and it was a little bit chilly (in December) although there is a heater in the room. There is no carpet or slippers provided, so be prepared. The breakfast was awesome, fresh and plenty everyday (the quiche was amazing) and the coffee great. There is also a coffee machine and a water heater in the room. The personnel was very helpful and kind.

Highly recommend hotel for families with baby/children and pet. We loved our stay with the whole family. Very kindly reception and delicious breakfast with natural orange juice (there has a beautiful garden and orange tree). 😁

Mixed feelings. I like the central location, friendly staff, clean and big room with comforatble beds. However, it can be noisy at times. Wifi is almost non-existent. Having breakfast can be a bit frustrating as the layout and processes are not well designed (guests keep getting each others' way and it can take ages to boil an egg and make a tea).

Fantastic hotel in a great location and great staff. Its like a boutique hotel just blocks from the promenade. Beautiful, clean rooms with lovely view of the garden. We will definitely return. Thank you for making our anniversary holiday memorable.

Super nice hotel in the Nice city centre, close to the beach. Beach is literally one block down the road, and the neighbourhood is quite good, with lots of supermarkets, bakeries and different shops. The staff in the hotel were very professional and welcoming. They tried to make our stay the best as possible. We accidentally got 1 bed instead of 2 beds for 2 people, and they fixed this issue immediately. Breakfast buffet was awesome, the best I've had in Nice (we were staying in different hotels). This one had a wide range of choices, everything was very clean and well organized. To be honest, that breakfast was probably the best food I've eaten while in Nice. Rooms were a bit cramped and not very spacious, but that was expected. They were clean and nice, but the walls between them were very thin. You could hear EVERYTHING. In our case - my colleagues were in the room below mine, and next to us was a Spanish couple who we had to listen talk, laugh and do "the thing", which made us all really really uncomfortable. I think all the rooms above, around and below heard them very clearly. In their defense - I don't think they were uneccessarily loud - they just probably didn't know that the walls are THAT THIN. Other than that I have no complaints, the hotel was spot on clean, we were getting lots of towels and the staff was really super helpful. The bed itself (at least for me) was not super comfortable, as well as the pillows. That could be improved. Other than that, I have no complaints. Note: these pics were taken while I was using my room (!)

Excellent staff! Took care of all of our needs professionally and happily. Our room was very clean! But the hotel needs an upgrade, especially the flooring, in hallways and rooms, and might help with the mustiness. Otherwise would have given it a 5 star.

It was fine, but nothing special. Room 305, was noisy occasionally at night, mostly due to motorbikes. Had to wear earplugs. Inner door and bathroom door didn't fit frame well so was impossible to go to bathroom without making a lot of noise. Breakfast OK to good. Outdoor space is nice. Superior room was big, decent view, bed a little too soft for me. Requested bath rather than shower but didn't get it. Location handy for tram from the airport. All staff were nice and friendly.

Lovely bed, great staff, useful location. I did find the room quite noisy as you can hear other conversations next door etc so if anyone wakes before you, you will hear them!

Bad experience We had a room it called “Prestige” It’s a small, smelling like sweat room. We paid tooooo much money. The said it’s for four people. But that’s not true. On the website the show a beautiful room. But in reality it’s a scam. They are going to give you nothing like the pictures. And the check your towels before using it. Because they were dirty. Never again !!!!

Good location and very nice garden to relax and have a drink. The staff were friendly and efficient. Plenty of choice for the breakfast. The room was comfortable ,even if the bathroom was a bit small and virtually nowhere to hang your clothes and place your toiletries . Enjoyed our stay.

Experienced a very pleasant, fuss free 4 day stay at this hotel. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were not happy with our initial room and the staff upgraded us to another room without any fuss. There was a good selection of food to choose from at Breakfast. The hotel is well located near promenade and short walk to Old Town.

We just spent 4 nights in this hotel. We could not fault the service of all of the staff throughout our stay. Excellent position. Good choice at Breakfast. Would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Nice.

Had the worst experience checking out. We booked our rooms with free breakfast, but when we checked out, they charged us 96€ for a very simple breakfast. When checking in, we specifically asked where and when was the free breakfast. The concierge did not tell us there was a charge. I understand if it was an honest mistake, i wouldn’t mind paying. The fact that the “responsable reservation” named Ana raised her voice and made a big scene instead of trying to resolve the situation. What a terrible experience! Would never book here again!

Very nice hotel. Walking distance from the old town and the beach. Found the staff very helpful and pleasant. Not giving 5 stars as the shower screen fell down in the bathroom and in my opinion that is a big health and safety hazard for guests, especially when few minutes before the screen fell down my wife and I gave bath to our baby. The hotel gave us 10% discount after we reported but found their reaction a wee bit calous. Recommended because of the location and the sweet nature of the staff but the management needs to make sure that maintenance is being done properly ensuring there are no health and safety hazard. Hoping this can improve to make it a 5 star place.

Fantastic hotel. This is the type of hotel that can make your holiday in Nice that bit better. The gardens were beautiful for eating breakfast and sitting in the evening. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful. Don't be fooled by some of the 'hotels' on the Promenade, go five mins into the town and the difference is amazing!

We loved the hotel. It was a trip to celebrate my 60year birthday and we were automatically upgraded to a junior suite since the room was not ready at check-in. They also offered us champagne when we were waiting for the room. The room was nice with a private terrace. The staff was truly kind, service minded and helped us a lot. Breakfast was particularly good, a lot to choose from, for example, freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel is located near the promenade and a short walk from Massena and old town. We will be back!
