Great place, great location , the center of Nice town. Closed to the train station and the Mediterranean Sea. The breakfast buffet was great and a lot of choices, we were enjoying our stay experience. The team Réception very kind and helpful. I recommend " hotel Nice Riviera to all tourists.

Good location, good service, good size room but dirty and wooden floor was wornout and black. Don't feel like staying. Not sure the meaning of 4 stars. Bathrooms are renovated and good. Pillow looked yellow, hard not to look at it ..

I'd give it negative points if I could. I've had so many issues with this place and the manager hasn't been helpful at all. TLDR: rude manager, some staff were also not friendly, Poor air quality, broken mattress. They turn off the aircon after September, so the room gets really warm and after being in the room for half an hour it gets really hard to breathe. The mattress in our room was broken on one side, which was hurting my back. I told 4 different members of staff and they kept referring me to the manager. First they told me to come back the next morning at 10am to talk to the manager, so I reshuffled my plans to see him hoping that he'll give me a different room. When I came back they told me he's not there. Long story short I had to come back a few more times to see this guy, but all he could offer me was the noisiest room possible, as there was some construction going on and this room was right in front of it. We could hear the noise from the original room too, but not this close, and they started working early in the morning. The manager didn't make any apologies, didn't try to understand what I was saying, and kept saying this is the only option we have. The worst part was when I told him about the air conditioning, he just smirked and said "this is the first time I'm hearing about this". That's it!

The only positive point about this hotel is the location. It is located in the city center and close to the airport. The behaviour of the staff is disappointing, they checked us in with delay without any apologies. The room was not very clean (for a 4 star hotel), towels were dirty, the toilet paper was wet! When we came back to the room on the last day of our stay, the door was open, and we could not figure it out who opened the door. When we communicated this to the staff, they had no explanation. Also the quality of the breakfast is not good (again for a 4 star hotel), the breakfast salon was dirty and the worker was cleaning the table with a towel that was on the floor. It is not a 4 star hotel.

I expected a nice breakfast from the hotels.com images, but breakfast was quite poor. The gym is really small not maintained and swimming pool was not free for the guest. The room was not so clean and warm water was working only sometimes. Wifi connection was also terrible... Unfortunately I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is really good. The room needs refurbishment, except the bathroom, which was nice. The air conditioning was not operating at first, although the outside temperature was 28 degrees Celsius. After I informed the reception staff they switched it on, and by 7 PM(after many hours) it decreased from 30 to 28 degrees. The hotel is a 4 star, but in my opinion it does not worth 3. The "clean" towel was spotty. Cleaning is not a strength of the hotel. Customer service also needs some improvement. I would recommend a near Best Western Hotel for almost the same price.

Hotel location is very good, very near to shopping area. The staffs are always very helpful and cheerful. Although it's isn't a very big hotel but indoor pool and spa available. They even loan umbrellas to the guests when it started to rain. There is roadwork nearby hotel making unloading of luggage difficult.

We booked this hotel for 4 nights to celebrate my twin sister and my 18th birthday with our best friend. Our stay was shocking to say the least. When I book a 4 star hotel I expect a clean room. We were not looking for anything of fancy but to me cleanliness is the minimum… The room had dust everywhere, the bath tub was stained, the surfaces were sticky and clearly unwashed, the toilet paper was used and there was barely any left and the fridge was leaking and barely working. When we attempted to call reception about these issues we realized that the phone in the hotel wasn’t even working! I called on my phone and the receptionist said she would “take notes”. We arrived back from our day out, the following day, and the room was “cleaner”, the fridge was half working and the phone was working. Once the fridge was fixed, they had lowered the temperature so much that it had frozen all of our food. We called twice during our stay for toilet paper and each time we were handed very little already used toilet paper. Each time we were asked to go down, once I did I had to wait 10 minutes at reception before I was given the toilet paper. One of the nights, as we were getting ready for dinner at 6pm, the cleaning staff asked us to vacate the room while one of us was showering and the other two in the middle of getting ready. On our last morning we were sleeping, and we were abruptly woken up by the cleaning staff that walked into our rooms while we were all wearing very little as it was very hot. The one positive aspect of our stay was our last night when one of the receptionists gave us free bottles of fresh water and made us drinks at the bar. He also brought us two rolls of unused toilet paper. The location of the hotel was in fact ideal and in the very center of Nice. There is visibly, however, a serious staff issue that needs to be resolved. Our stay in Nice remained memorable and a lot of fun.

I arrived and was given a nice room by a friendly man at the reception. I went to my room and it was a nice room. i was on buisness and needed a good internet connection. It was the WORST internet i have ever seen in a hotel. it kept throwing me out every 5 min. I had important work to do and did not need these problems. Each floor of the hotel has its own internet signal. all the floors were very very bad. I went down stairs to tell them there was a problem and he admitted they have problems with the internet so he upgraded me to another room. it was a family room. Internet was a little better but still very bad. the signal was at 10%. I waited till the next day and the internet was still very very bad. so i went down stairs to tell them and a lady was there and she looked like the boss i told her if they cant give me better internet then i am wasting my time staying there. i asked if left the hotel and the last 2 nights they could give me when i came back to Nice as i had already paid for the hotel. she said directly No and called someone to come and look at the internet signal. i went back to my room and no one came so i decided to leave because i left 2 days early it cost me 200 euro as they did not have internet and had to book another hotel around the corner called HOTEL VENDOME. i highly recommend this hotel anyway i was reading reviews about the Nice reviera hotel and i found a lot of complaints about the internet signal from 2019 so they did nothing about this problem for at least 2 years. I dont recommend this hotel to travellers needing to use the internet.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter to express my extreme disappointment with the level of noise at the Nice Riviera Hotel, which has disturbed my peace and made my stay very unpleasant. As a guest at your hotel, I expected to have a comfortable and peaceful experience during my stay. However, I was disappointed to wake up every morning to the sound of digging and hammering noises from the construction site, which began very early in the morning. This has affected my sleep, relaxation, and overall experience at the hotel. The level of noise is unbearable and completely unacceptable, and I believe that it is negatively affecting the experience of other guests staying at the hotel. It is very disappointing that the hotel management has allowed such a disruptive activity to continue, which has made my stay very unpleasant. I am requesting that the hotel management takes immediate action to address this issue and ensure that guests are not disturbed by the ongoing construction work. I strongly urge you to take this matter seriously and resolve it as soon as possible. I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this issue.

Good room and good pool inside. But terrible breakfast... And since it was prepaid in my reservation they refused the reimbursement although I didn't go there the next 3 days...

Two day stay at this beautiful hotel. Breakfast was expensive so we skipped it. Swimming pool charge for PP is 10Euro. Room is spacious. Loved it. Supportive staff. Location was perfect.

The worst 4* star hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life! I even don’t know why they still keep the standard of 4-star hotel. First thing I noticed when checked into the room - is the old toilet paper roll from previous guests with a bit of leftovers. I’m sorry but this is not hygienic and in 4-star hotel paper should be changed to new! Secondly, the bedsheets they’re using are super old, cheap, bad quality with numerous holes and stretches. Please refer to the pictures. Poor 4-star doesn’t have budget to buy new ones. Same for the towels full of stains - I saw such towels quality only in 2 star hotels, even better. Shall I get you a good detergent maybe? 4-star hotel doesn’t have a dental kit and slippers! Yes, right! Perfect service guys! I called reception to get me ones, cuz it really happened that I didn’t have a toothpaste with me that late night on my arrival. They didn’t have anything! When I’m booking a 4-star hotel and paying nearly 200€ per night, at least I’m expecting to have essentials of personal hygiene to feel myself comfortable as a human. Also, there is no remote control from TV! Asked reception to bring me one - they got me Toshiba remote for LG tv which of course didn’t work. Well maintained! Wi-Fi doesn’t work. Password is wrong. I had to use my own roaming data. Water leakage in the bath tub while taking the shower. All water comes to the floor and you have to clean every time after yourself. Get the mop at least for this purpose or I have to use your towels to soak the water off. Oh, maybe that’s why towels look so bad. Also while taking a shower I noticed some black hair on a tub which was super disgusting. I’m not talking about the street noise coming from the closed windows - as if you sleep with open ones. This hotel doesn’t deserve to be even 2 star. I still donnow why they’re proclaiming themselves 4-star with such a high rate per night (nearly 200€). I truly regret of booking 2-nights at this hotel in Nice which spoiled my stay.

The room was very nice and modern. Unfortunately there were very few power outlets to the amount you cannot have all the lamps plugged in and plug a device of your own in. On top I find it unacceptable that a hotel of such a caliber cheaps out on providing 2-ply toiletpaper. Also they hotel has multiple nice ammenities like a private pool, private beach, wake-up service, massages, etc, but be aware that you need to pay for those. The beds were comfortable and staff was nice, the location is great, close to a tram stop with lines 1 and 2, which can get you essentially everywhere, you are right close to the geleries lafayette and the beach, as well many sights and a cute part of the old town, great to take walks in

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. What kind of a hotel runs out of towels ? When asked for a towel they very rudely denied the request and said they don’t know what to do. The air con wasn’t working at all. When asked to fix it, they said it wasn’t possible for the technician to come and refused to even change our room Sharon at the reception was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I don’t know how this hotel can be considered a 4 star. The rooms are also very run down and old looking. And they charge you to use the swimming pool on top of that. The pictures of the rooms are misleading and don’t look anything like them. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone

Horrible horrible hotel. Firstly they charge to use the pool area. I don't know any hotel in the world that does that. Rooms are very average, and the bed sheets and bed have stains on them. One night the ac stopped working, and anyway it felt like it never worked. And then one of the employees, her name was Sharon, lied about the situation when she said that the AC guy was coming in an hour to fix it. Then I was calling to ask for more towels and she just kept hanging up on me. When I got back in touch with her, she lied again and said that the AC guy had already come and it should be fixed already. We found out later that night, that he was coming the next morning. Another issue was that Sharon said that they don't have any towels, and when I asked her that what am I supposed to do when I come out of the shower, she replied very rudely saying I don't know. When we went down to complain to the manager, Sharon again lied and said that there are so many people working at the hotel at that time, that we must have spoken to someone else when we clearly spoke to her. We recognized the voice, and she knew what we were talking about when we complained about the towel and ac. The other staff was nice. Will never stay here again, don't know how it has a 4 star rating.

It is a 4 star hotel, but might as well be a 2-3*. The receptionists are all super nice, the breakfast is OK, but no vegetables, and too little vegan/vegetarian options (only vegetable milk); (-): shower tub gets full of whater that doesn’t go in the drain too fast, thus spilling all over the bathroom; we had a 3 person room, but only 2 towels, 2 glasses (paper cups); 2 etc. Only one shower gel, one lotion, one shampoo (for 3 people). All the towels in the room were yellow stained (pee like stains); our drain problem was immediately signaled to the reception (yesterday around 7-8pm) but still not solved and we have low hopes it will be solved; there is no ventilation in the bathroom (or at least it does not work) and nothing gets dry too fast (especially with the spilled water from the tub); pool has a fee of 10€ per person (per day I think) whereas for a 4 star hotel with the prices we paid it should have been included; no private beach or discounts to other beaches because we are hotel guests; not related to the hotel, but the beach is from stones and rocks so hard to stay if you don’t get a sunbed; (+) a lot of sweet options for breakfast; receptionists are nice but overwhelmed with the workload I think and not that efficient in solving our issues; location (close to beach ~10min) and to supermarkets/fashion shops (~5min); hotel interiour needs some upgrade (looks pretty old and dusty)

Positive: The room was spacious (since we booked the executive one), with a closet for hanging clothes, safe etc. Pretty standard. The location was also very good and central we could go everywhere by foot. Reception was very helpful and polite. Negative: Too many families and noisy children, we wanted to relax at the pool and sauna (where you had to pay 10 p.p. per hour) and we had screaming kids diving and splashing. Also I haven't been in a more noisy breakfast, the service were throwing the plates and cups on the table like it was an Olympic game or smth. Quite disappointed from the variety and quality of the breakfast. If the location was not good I would not recommend it for its value.

The staff provided great service, especially at the reception and the housekeeping teams. The hotel has a 4-star rating in France (which is slightly less quality level than a Global 4-star rating) which provided some comfort for the few days in Nice. Centrally located, the beach boardwalk was less than a 10-minute walk and there are hundreds of shopping and dining opportunities within a 1 kilometer radius of the hotel. Breakfast was purchased one day and was satisfying though the WOW-effect is missing. I preferred to walk across the street to a Lavazza street coffee stand for the caffeine boost and diagonally from the hotel is a very nice breakfast place. Yes, I would return to this hotel though only when the price diminishes.

Really nice hotel with mostly very friendly staff. One receptionist was a bit offish when we asked (in good french) how much a taxi would be to monaco. She was very offish when she phoned for a price and we didn't want the taxi (it was only an enquiry). Very comfortable bed! The room cleaning and replenishing could have been better.

Really nice hotel, clean modern rooms, friendly and accommodating staff, nice selection for breakfast, really can't ask for anything more. Wifi signal was really good, pool was a bit pricey but the water was really warm. Enjoyed our stay over the Easter holidays.

When we arrived they told us there was no booking and instead of trying to help get to the bottom of the problem, they tried to convince us to go elsewhere and pay much more in another hotel. Even once we obtained evidence from the third party company we booked through that they sent confirmation of the booking to the hotel, the hotel reception staff still said 'there's nothing we can do' and after an hour of to and fro, we had to spell out the obvious that this was their error and that they needed to do something to rectify the situation. After asking them to call the management, we were given our room for four nights, including an upgrade for the first night, but were very disappointed by the continuous unsympathetic, bad attitude of the woman on the front desk. The manager was brilliant, the rooms were quite nice, the breakfast was reasonable, but overall we wouldn't stay there again because of our 'welcome' experience.

This hotel was chosen by my wife as a quick taster weekend for Nice, with the location being very central and not too far from tram line 1 and 2. On arrival the room was clean and tidy with floral fragrance emanating from the bathroom. The hotel staff do speak English and do their upmost to keep you comfortable and welcomed during your stay. The only improvement that could be made is the appointment based system for the pool. I personally think that the time for the appointment is too short at 1 hour for €10. Breakfast was of continental offerings with bacon sausage and eggs on hot hold for your choosing too. Great stay would return.

I dream of returning to Nice all the time and staying at this hotel. It’s beautiful, close to shopping, the Promenade, the market, and gorgeous beach. Four of us stayed in one room and shared one bathroom but we were very comfortable. There is an indoor pool and decent breakfast as well. I would recommend this hotel!

We were very disappointed with this hotel. We travel frequently, and have stayed in many different hotels. This hotel doesn't deserve more than two stars: the room was very tight, even when we booked the room the size of 21 square meters. Usually the three star hotel room is a lot more spacious. Also, the room was not clean. In addition, some of the receptionists were not welcoming or friendly, but rather rude. The breakfast was worse than in a two star hotel. The cafeteria staff was rude as well. On our last day we couldn't take a shower because there was no hot water at all. Called reception, the receptionist told us he is not a specialist to fix the problem. Again, this hotel and the service is on the level of a two star hotel not 4,
