I've never seen anything like this, bad customer service! I booked a hotel a month before arrival, booking 29162189 for 5 days, about which I received a confirmation letter by mail. The day before arrival I check the status of the reservation - it turns out to be CANCELLED WITHOUT WARNING! I was not notified by letter, sms or anything! I contacted the support service, they promised to restore the reservation! at night and did not know where to go to sleep! I have never seen such deceit and deceit! How can you treat guests like that? .During the trip I visited Minsk, Vilnius, Milan, Verona, there were no problems anywhere. Only Nice left a bad impression because of such a reception. I gladly gave 1000 € for accommodation to another hotel

This hotel needs a refurb, it is tatty and old. Did not have the breakfast, chose to explore Nice, so cannot comments. The beds (tried two rooms) are old and saggy, not comfortable or supportive. God knows what has happened on these. Air conditioning is very noisy, turned it off, but there is a room air system which continues, very noisy. Would not stay here again and on the fifth day we moved hotels.

Stayed 3 nights in July/August and would not personally recommend to anyone I know and respect. Here are the pro’s and con’s… Pros: Decent location, close to the things you are probably interested in doing in Nice. Cons: This hotel has a severe problem with lighting. If you like well lit rooms, definitely avoid this hotel. The hotel staff is nice but in a fake way, you can see through most of the staff that they are just acting when they are being nice. Only Madina was a truly nice staff member in my opinion. If you don’t speak French, be very careful when staying at the hotel, they will actively try to make some money off your inability to speak the language. When my wife asked the front desk if there was a laundry facility, they implied to her they would pick up it up and do it for her as a complimentary service. Needless to say, we were shocked to receive a 104 Euro extra charge on our bill for having our 1 year old daughter’s clothes washed by the hotel. We left Nice with a sour taste in our mouths. As a proud IHG Platinum Member, this is the first time I am staying at a Holiday Inn that I would not recommend to any friends or family.

The staff was very helpful during the stay and made an excellent impression during the check-in. Miss Madina was excellent. The hotel is nicely located and has all major points easily reachable including from the Nice airport. Our stay was good, the room was clean but just enough for a family with 2 kids. Everyday when we returned, the room was setup properly. We liked the overall cleanliness. There were two major issues. There was zero sound proofing on the 7th floor. Even with the windows closed we could hear everything happening on the road. The second is that the thermostat in our room didn't allow us to control the air conditioning at all. We had to call to the front desk every time we needed to make the change. Also, I asked for a late checkout as our train was in the late afternoon, but was told that they need the room for new guests so didn't allow it.

When it comes to the service it is Super, the employees are so helpful and friendly! Ask for Madina and Vincenzo! They helped us with the directions, best places to go too and recommendations! If i can change one thing that would be The breakfast. It was not the best

Lovely staff made our holiday. Restaurant was nice. Good breakfast. Rooms were perfect for our needs. Fridge meant we could have a cold drink and a nice lavattsa coffee machine for the mornings. One of the best holiday inns we have been to.

Great little room. A bit of a dated bathroom, but still good. Very - and i can't stretch this enough - very central. Great pied-à-terre to explore Nice and 10 minutes to the train station

As others have noted, the age does start to show. Clean enough and alright if you need a roof over your head. Some rooms had problems with water temperature, some with electricity. But the biggest gripe I have is that their breakfast can't handle the amount of people staying at the hotel. The breakfast itself was nothing to write home about either.

Very good price ratio. A bit oldish US style rooms, but large and comfortable. Upper floors very quiet. Good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

Great location, walking distance to sightseeing places. Many restaurants and cafes in surroundings. Train station is within few minutes walk with direct access to airport, very convenient. Friendly front desk staff. Fast check in and check out. Spacious room and bathroom. But room a little outdated, time for upgrades. Mattress were a little too soft.

The staff were ultra friendly and kind to offer services, breakfast was also perfect. We also got the executive suite, the facilities just made the stay perfect and there's even a huge balcony that enables us to see the city view !

Superb cordial reception. Nice room and very clean & comfortable. En suite needs work. Shower over bath too low to work as a shower. Toiletries fixed to wall so not handy if taking a bath. Toilet roll holder behind loo cover when lifted. Needs rethinking. Breakfast reasonable. Front desk staff excellent again on departure. They could teach Irish hotels a lot!

Honestly, the best stay we had during our trip throughout Europe. Absolutely amazing hotel breakfast, probably the best I've seen at a hotel breakfast. The rooms are clean and modern. The hotel looks really nice and staff was always helpful and respectful. Will definitely be back in the future!

Our stay at the Holiday Inn was great. The location and the service are outstanding. Julia at reception went out of her way to help us explore potential day trip options from Nice to surrounding coastal towns. When we didn’t know how to use the Air Conditioning in the room, Julia was super hospitable and explained in detail how to adjust it. It was our first time in Nice, and the Holiday Inn and their staff made it a great and memorable one.
