Very unusual booking system that makes me wonder if I was profiled??? When you go through their website to book a room, you are actually “putting in a request”, which the property has 48 hrs to review. I don’t understand the logic behind this. In 2023, the system should know what room types are available so a customer can book immediately. I just put in a request for a double room with breakfast but the request was denied. I feel like I wasted my time going through the photos and reviews of this property. Save yourself the trouble, book elsewhere. What a shame.

If you are at max. 3 people, and don‘t wanna spend to much money, then the hotel is pretty good. Its pretty comfortable, has more of an Motel than Hotel touch. The rooms are pretty small tho, so with 3 people + 3 peoples luggage, it can get quite narrow. However, you get what you paid for, with very friendly and professional staff.

BE CAREFUL This hotel left me stranded in a foreign country late at night as they resold my room less than 2 hours before I was supposed to check in. I booked this hotel for 2 nights through their website. The room was fully paid for. I booked a non-refundable room. I then enquired via email about moving the booking & cancelling all together. I was informed that if I cancelled I would lose all money due to the booking conditions but could be offered a voucher. Due to this I decided to do best to make use of my booking. The last email I received from them was on 28th July 2022 inviting me to cancel (I did not cancel). I then received an email from ‘Francisco DIMAYUGA’ on the 10th August at 14.19 less than 2 hours before I was supposed to check in informing me that they are ‘gonna hold your reservation until your 1st December 2022’. I then turned up to check in and was informed the hotel was full they had no rooms. They did not give me my money back on the same day so I could book alternative accommodation. They did not help in finding alternative accommodation either. I spoke to the manager on the phone who said it was my fault as I had enquired about cancelling the booking. Then on the 11th August I received an email from ‘Emilie BOUDERLIQUE’ stating that it was ‘To our great surprise’ that I had turned up to to check in for the booking that was fully paid for. There was no sincere apology from Emilie or offer of a refund. I had to explicitly state I wanted my money back as they had cancelled my booking without confirmation from me. After this money was refunded. After this experience I will never book to stay at a Campanile hotel again.

Would like to start by saying the staff were incredibly nice and very helpful. They earn the extra star here, but this is not a 3 star location. Once we got to the room, the disappointment set in. The room was somehow smaller than ours in Paris and had seen better days. A faint cigarette smell greeted us before the stained sheets could. The wall-mounted soap and body wash were a good environmental effort, but the lack of hand towels and/or shampoo/lotion were commodities I would expect as a frequent traveler. Overall, it could be used for a one night, one person, business trip hotel, but we ended up checking out early and renting an AirBnB so that I didn’t have to somersault over the bed to get to the restroom. Would avoid if you are traveling with 2 people.

Budget hotel with tiny rooms, but clean and beds comfortable. Property needs updating. Currently major roadworks outside. However very convenient for Place Garibaldi.

My sister and I enjoyed this hotel a lot!! We were greeted by Francisco who was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean when we got there, it was a little small but we were barely in the room. The only drawback was that they were doing construction work outside but that only lasted from maybe 8am to noon on weekdays so we weren't too bothered by it (and it's not the hotel's fault either, Francisco even warned us about it). The hotel is close to Old Nice (lots of restaurants and cute shops), just about a ten minute walk to a very nice beach, and a fifteen minute tram ride from the train station. The breakfast served at the hotel is worth the extra money!

The room is as modest as what you paid for. Location is great. Near the old town and 2 tram lines. Staff is welcoming. Our room was facing the main road and it was quite noisy until 3am on the Friday night. But Perla helped us change to a quieter room after our second night. Really appreciate it. We had a great experience overall.

Lovely hotel, super solid location and nice staff. The temperature of the room was a bit off so we had to keep the window open at all times. The shower was also not very warm. Breakfast was simple but complete. You are super close to everything!!

I was disappointed ,considering the positive reviews I read .very small room for the price ,no coffee or water avaliable in the room .the hair dryer did not work ,as well as the table lamp .the bathroom was dirty and I found a cockroach as I walked in at night . they had little staff avaliable ,and those who were ,were initially helpful with the shuttle pick up from the airport .the view was not as described .it was facing a garbage area and just concrete .not much guidance or information on the avaliable service from the staff.I would rate this hotel poor .I am very disatisfied as their fee is as expensive as a 4 star hotel which has more comfort ,cleaniness and other facilities like a swimming pool and more . I would not reccomend this hotel !

My wife and I have stayed here a couple of times. It's perfect for our requirements....multi storey parking about 100 m away. Room is fine...very inexpensive...and hundred of bars/restaurant close by...as is the old harbour. Easy to find and easy to exit from Nice.

My check in was smooth, and Francisco was very professional and friendly. 5/5 He even offered me to get their breakfast option for €11 only which was not included on my reservation. I'll check what their breakfast looks like then I'll add if worth it. I'm travel and doing remote work. Day 1 already having internet issue. The internet is has very poor internet connection. 😞 See Google internet speed test - very slow. 2/5 Location is great the line L1 is just around the corner. 5/5 Close to old town 15 mins walk. The room kinda smell like sweat. Similar to gym smell. Yikes. 3/5

The best basic hotel to live in. We got an awesome room on the top floor with an amazing view of the whole city. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to keep baggage as we arrived much earlier before check-in. Also the tours tie up with the hotels are really premium. Get in touch with the reception for Raphael-the tourist guy. Had a great experience and a good stay. Rooms are worth for a decent stay if your travelling. Highly recommended!

Small rooms, even smaller than expected for the franchise. Poor breakfast. Payments through unsecured channel, took a lot of effort. Anyway, the front desk was very helpful and patient trying to support with the reservation. Rooms clean. Shower messy all over the rooms. Almost impossible to setup the right temperature for hot water.

Very friendly and helpful staff who will help you as much as they can. The rooms are a little small, especially if you are with 3 and have some luggage. But in the end the room is to sleep and refresh so more then good enough for that. It's been cleaned properly every day. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

In general a good hotel for what you pay for. Rooms are very very small (it was tricky even with just two handluggage), but just for sleeping and for a few days enough. The condition of the rooms could be better, but generally nothing which was really bad. Aircodition is awailable. Just the bed and pillow sheets smelled not that fresh, this is something that needs to be improved. And extra towels for hands and face are highly reccomend (just two towels for shower where awailable) We didn't had breakfast, the first impression worth not the price. A room for luggage is awailable for checkout date, and it is automatically locked, which is good.

Lovely hotel!! Rooms were always cleaned and upon arrival everything was clean, the bathroom as well!! Room was a bit small, as long as you are outside all the time it shouldn’t be a problem and coming into your room with everything clean was such a great feeling and the room a bit cold, so refreshing in the summer time. Staff was always nice, especially the cleaning service. The location is good as well as everything is walking distance, but the train and bus are nearby too. Would book again! :) (Btw when you go right from the hotel on your side will be a pizza place (to go) with really cheap prices but delicious pizza!)
