A hidden gem in Nice at the best possible location. Big beautiful room with a wonderful view, close to old town, beach and shopping. Very clean. Fridge, Air-conditioning, Nespresso machine and Safety box in the room. Will definitely come back.

Great stay, friendly staff, fantastic location and view! Only negative is the relatively loud staircase as the appt room is little insulated.

Had a great stay during the carnival time. The room was very elegant - modern and super spacious (even surprised us) Kind service. Value for money 10/10

Very nice and spacious hotel room. The only disadvantage is that there is no elevator.

I’m still staying here, but wanted to write a review anyway... this hotel is beautiful! It’s gorgeously decorated, quiet and really clean. After several weeks in Italy and France, this place is already my favorite. I needed a quiet, clean and welcoming place to stay and I’ve not been disappointed at all thus far. I’m a silly American and had trouble working the nespresso and I was met with understanding. The staff are wonderful, the location is great and the room is more than what I’d hoped for. Thank you 😊 I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Les Suites Masséna for 3 days which I really enjoyed it. The reception is on the first floor (at hotel de la Mer) and the room is on the second floor. It really looks more like an apartment and made us feel at home right away. The clean, spacious and quiet apartment exceeded our expectations. It’s right by the old town and overlooks the vibrant Masséna square. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes and the lady in charge was super nice!

Lovely modern suite (we had a superior suite - the one we were in overlooked the square and had a bath in the room). We had the option of breakfast in the room. Each morning, we were brought coffee, juice, croissants, bread, yoghurt and jam. It was plenty for us - the only thing we didn't enjoy was the coffee. There was a large shower as well as a bath in the room (the toilet was private!) plus a sofa and coffee machine. The view over the square was great and it wasn't too noisy (especially considering the chirstmas market nearby) as the windows are well soundproofed. The windows could do with having blinds or thicker curtains. We enjoyed our stay here and how easy it was to access the old town. The location is great - just 2 mins walk to the sea or shopping. It's also a short walk from the flower/food market and plenty of restaurants.

Very nice hotel room, amneties are stylish and completly new. Breakfast delivery to your room (because they don’t really have a dining hall). The location in Nice is unbeatable as its just next to the beach but as well to the old town where restaurants are & the new town where there is the shopping street. Only down part, there is no elevator (reception is on 1st floor - Rooms on 2nd or 3rd) and as well no parking.

Cute apartment, 8 flights of stairs is a good workout, and the location is great. It's close to the old town, the morning market, (Marché des Fleurs), and the promenades, beaches and theatres. BUT: Electrical problems saw us trying to balance charging mobile devices, late night book reading, and actually having enough hot water to shower etc. Hence: only 3 stars.

My husband and I stayed at Les Suites Massena for 6 nights during our first visit to Nice. It is very spacious and in the most convenient location. Not mention it has very tall ceilings (which we loved)! It’s walkable to all major sites, about a ~12 minute walk to the train station and close to many food options. We thoroughly enjoyed our view out onto Massena Square. With the windows open, you can hear quite a bit of noise. With it shut, it was very easy to fall asleep. Air conditioning worked wonderfully and was welcome after a long, hot day. It is good to note that there is no elevator if you have heavier suitcases. The front desk staff at Hotel de La Mer were most helpful when we needed extra toiletries. They help to manage Les Suites Massena and are available around ~8:00am-8:00pm. It was difficult to get a hold of the hotel once we booked our stay, but do email them anyways if you need to notify them of a earlier or later check in time. Overall, a solid stay at this establishment.

Amazing location! Very easy walk to the beach and old town. 20 minute walk to the train station and the tram comes right in front of the hotel. It was exactly as we anticipated and we would definitely stay here again when in Nice. Noise from the city was not an issue with windows closed but it was lovely to open the windows in the morning and evenings. I should say we did hear noise from the hallway but it was only an issue at night and temporary. All the staff we encountered were helpful and the rooms were always cleaned super well every day. We had breakfast two days of our stay and also loved the espresso in the room. Highly recommend for a minimalistic boutique hotel in a very walkable area.
