Looking for a trusting service? check other hotels. Basically, no empathy. The airport is blocked because of the riots, and we asked for a cancellation or modification and they did nothing for us. I wouldn't recommend it. When you organize a trip and something happens, is how the people acts that can change your experience. Bad management. All the reviews are from people who stayed there, we couldn't even doing it thanks to them. Like I said, if you plan to visit Nice, avoid this hotel because if something happens…then you are done. Looking for a trusting service? check other hotels. really sad and mad, the hotel really seem cute and amazing. We lost 500€ just because they didn’t let us change de date.

3 Star Hotel. Nice bedroom and well decorated. Available toiletries and minibar per room. Friendly staff and very keen to help. Breakfast could be better as they don’t have a big offer or variety. Rooms are quite small but nice. Could benefited from a kettle in the room with some coffee or tea available. No restaurant available.

Generally pretty average, but the nice, even though lacking diversity breakfast and hospitable staff make for the experience. Mind that rooms are pretty small and claustrophobic.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and well located. The buts: poorly designed bathroom, no ventilation. Uncomfortable bed, was too soft for us.

Fantastic location and value for money. The rooms are neat, we’ll decorated and HUGE by French standards. The bathrooms are generous and well appointed. Beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works very well. The team were friendly and helpful. Overall Lea Cigales is a great mid range hotel that is walking distance to everything you need in Nice.

The Hotel Les Cigales is a perfect choice while being in Nice: • The hotel is perfectly located - just few minutes walking distance from promenade and beach. At the same time, you can also easily walk to the city center, old city and colline du château. • You have shops and restaurants just nearby. • The hotel is quite compact and you have your own private feeling of comfort. • The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and have enough space for a comfortable stay. • They have a private garage (not parking; it is isolated and closed on a lock) which is very comfortable while being centrally located and reasonably priced. But do not forget to book it in advance through the hotel web site. • The staff is very attentive and helpful. The hotel helped me a lot with a parcel which was delivered from the shop after my departure – they made separate effort to make me finally receive it. We will definitely choose Hotel Les Cigales for our next trip to Nice.

We stayed here in Niece for three nights. Location is just fine. Rooms are clean, mattresses are European style with twin mode style comfortable, If you like holding your spouse it will be a slight challenge to get used to the crevice. The showers are excellent. I personally did to like the attic rooms - we had one for one day but it nay work for others. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating and very kind- so appreciated!! The breakfast is very reasonable and I do recommend the continental style or more complete - it is your choice Euro 7 vs 12 at times of writing. The parking on site is highly limited and is generally not available. The parking in a public lots is at Euro 28/day currently. We do not generally have car on our holidays but due to mountain needs in later part of our holiday we had one. Unless you need to access the mountains hikes you do not need a car at all in Southern France.

There have been problems since the reservation. On the website I found a price and an offer on breakfast. When I contacted the facility for information and a quote for my stay I was offered a significantly higher price. Reiterating what I had seen on the site I was finally offered the price seen on the site but made no mention of the offer on breakfast, which I consequently decided to give up. Arriving at the hotel we were given the last available room. Ground floor with a view of a wall positioned about a meter away. However, no problem with the view. The problem was realizing late in the evening the loud noise of the heating machines of the entire facility positioned right next to the window of our room. Throughout the night we had to endure this annoying noise. The receptionist offered me earplugs. I think they always keep them ready for those who unluckily happen to be in that room. Room that in my opinion should not be sold. Room #6. Maybe ask in advance what room you will be assigned...

Nice is a good place to base yourself in the French Riviera, and I found this hotel to fit my price range and location preferences quite well. The room was spacious, it is not too modern and the tv is very small but if you need a place just to sleep and rest then it is good. Everyone at the front desk is very polite and always pleasant to interact with. The location felt safe when walking back at night and I found I was able to walk wherever I wanted to be, even the Nice-Ville train station was not a bad walk. Would recommend for a weekend in Nice!

A nice hotel in the Center of Nizza, the price is very reasonable, room is clean and cozy :) The lady at the reception desk (Ms Elena) was very friendly and kindly helped us with the luggage and advised on parking place. We would be happy to stay here again.

Good location and easy walk to restaurants and beach. Small room was basic with comfortable bed. Had an extra small bed to use for suitcases. Our room had nice tall french doors looking over the street, but was terribly noisy at all hours. Poor lighting in room. No coffee pot in room. Nor iron.

Two of us stayed in room #2 for 2 nights. The room is very funky with custom made furnishings and a really well selected colour scheme. Very thing worked well and the staff were always friendly. They went out of there way to provide storage for our two bicycles. The location is great, just beyond the bustle of the city but a short walk from many restaurants, the beach and the train station. Very clean and up to date.

I loved Hotel Les Cigales. The staff were so sweet and really wanted to make sure we had a great experience. The room was clean and spacious and met our needs. We spent most of our time sightseeing and outside, but even if we were inside the room for several hours a day, the room would have still met our needs. I would definitely stay here again.

Basic hotel, too basic for the price. The floors are uncomfortable and there are chips in the paint, the bathroom floor is basically concrete painted. Walls are very thin so you can hear everything that's happening in the other rooms and reception. The receptionist even knocked at our door to collect our extra key in the morning because he heard us speaking to eachother so knew we were awake. Not a very private feeling! The cleanliness was good. We were mislead into getting a breakfast, which we wouldn't have bothered with if we knew the price before. When we disputed this they were rude, typical for French customer service, I've found, so not very surprised. Roof terrace is nice but there's no bar. Would not return.

Such a cute place in a great location! I travelled to Nice for 3 days with 2 other friends and it was the perfect space. Super affordable, clean, and all workers are very friendly. Short walk to the main train station, beach, and main square. 15 minutes to Old Nice, but you should go there!

This is a very cute boutique hotel. The staff were extremely nice and welcoming. They had a corkscrew that they lent to me when I wanted to open a bottle of wine. The room was small but the beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The location is great, just a few minutes walk to the center of Nice. At check-in we were given a map and directions to important landmarks.

Lovely hotel in the center, close to the beach. Supermarket a cross the street and best of all so clean and excellent service. even though it is in the center it is in a quiet street. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay there again !

Loved this small hotel. The location was great, many restaurants and sights nearby and a small grocery right across the street. The staff was outstanding, very friendly and helpful. Our room was good-sized, clean and quiet. The roof garden was a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. We put our feet up, had a glass of wine and enjoyed the evening sky settling over Nice.

It was a cozy environment, very nice people that took care of us. We had a great room, really nice bathroom and so comfortable with air conditioning. The location in Nice with restaurants, the beach and shopping just nearby was perfect. The breakfast was small but they served all that we needed. We were very lucky and could park our car right outside the hotel. We had a really nice stay and would like to come back.

Rooms of good standard and friendly staff. Great location, close to the beach, promenade and restaurants but away from the noise from the night life. Three local Michelin restaurants next door but with affordable prices.
