I'm not typically inclined to write reviews, but I feel it's important to inform fellow female solo travelers about some concerns I had regarding this hostel. Firstly, there was a friendly guy at the reception, and there was also a blonde-haired woman who seemed pleasant. However, the rest of the staff were consistently unhappy, impolite, dismissive, and frankly, quite difficult to approach even for simple requests. Regarding the rooms, this has been the most unsatisfactory hostel I've ever lodged in. During my stay, the temperature reached 34 degrees, and unfortunately, the small air conditioning vent was positioned towards the back of a bed in the hostel, resulting in zero airflow for the rest of the room. I had to take several cold showers throughout the night just to cope. I did inform the reception about this, but there seemed to be little they could do as all other rooms were apparently booked, leaving me unable to relocate. Enduring three nights of sleep in these conditions was quite unbearable, especially considering the cost of 50 euros per night! I strongly recommend addressing the air conditioning issues in the higher rooms (specifically on level 5). The bathrooms and communal facilities emitted an unpleasant odor of fish and mold, despite my observations of cleaning efforts being made. It's puzzling how the state of the sewage systems and pipes could lead to such a rundown atmosphere. This was an experience unlike any other I've had in terms of unpleasantness. The only positive aspect of this hostel is its excellent and central location, unfortunately, that's the sole advantage. If you happen to be a youthful individual, aged 18 to 20, who enjoys a lively atmosphere and isn't too concerned about cleanliness, this place might suit your preferences. It's disheartening to express such dissatisfaction, particularly considering the amount I paid for my stay.

Be careful with your belongings!! My friend and I stayed here together for one night, but the staff let us know that we could leave our backpacks in the baggage room after we checked out. We did just that the next morning and came back in the afternoon after exploring Nice. When we returned, our laptops were missing and so was the laptop of another guest. My friend and I had left our backpacks on the table, but the other guest had put hers in a locker, and the lock was cut off. We spoke to the employee at the front deck who was able to go through some of the security footage and told us that there was a man with a yellow backpack who looked suspicious. She suggested that we file police reports with the CCTV video so we have the chance to be reimbursed for our MacBooks through travel insurance, but the hostel said later that they wouldn’t be able to send us the footage and that the camera in the room didn’t catch anyone physically stealing the laptops anyway. The hostel said they could send the footage to the police, so we filed a police report but nothing has come of it yet. It is very likely that they will never find them so we had to wipe our laptops remotely. The hostel informed me via email that they have decided to change the position of the camera a bit, put an electronic lock on the door next to reception, and we will replace lockers in the luggage room. However, the electronic locks on the front door and luggage room didn’t stop the thief, so I’m not sure how secure an additional lock would be. Anyone can just go up to the front desk and ask for a key to the luggage room without providing any identification or proof of stay. Just be careful of your possessions and consider keeping them with you.

I think this hostel is a little bit better than some of the negative reviews. I think it can also be better in a couple ways, too. The rooms need some updating, with some newer, more appealing bunks. And you can tell the cleaners could use a little more motivation. I didn't necessarily think everything was dirty. Just needs cleaning with a little more frequency. But the place has a good feel in the common areas and an excellent location. The staff was attentive and helpful.

DISGUSTING FILTHY HOTEL. It's totally a SCAM. 1. The room was full of the smell of cigarette and humid as if it had been used for smoking area. 2. The pics on booking websites are edited, actually the room was old and faded. 3. The window was held by a chain only, couldn't be closed and locked, so the noise from the bar downstairs kept bombarding us til 5AM! 4. The linen was humid and smell awful, the towels we got directly from reception were dirty with yellow stains and hair. We checked out after the first night, we asked for refund of the rest 4 nights, but the manager refused because we booked it as non-refundable! They lied with fake pics first then refused to refund, I call it a scam! I don't know how the hostel is, but if you want to book a private room, I totally don't recommend this place unless sleeping on the street is your last option. We paid almost 80 euro per night, which you can find much better and clean hotels in that area. This is the most low quality hotel I have ever stayed!

very late check in 3pm and early checkout at 10, they charge 15 euros for a late check in till 1 pm?? i mean the night is 15 euros? the receptionist is very very very cold, i went to the front desk, and i no one looked at me even after saying hi. the fron desk lady told me "ah it is still 5 minutes till 3pm" that at 3 pm she said "can you wait 10 minutes till the rooms are ready" , it is better to say rooms will be ready in 10 minutes instead. i ask a question and receptionist do not event look at me when answering. Very very very rude. no bins in the room, very backed room, with bad air circulation, i do not know how it is possible by law to pack all these people in small room. of course no soap or towels. public bathroom is dirty and smell, and beds were itchy. the shared public tables were always not clean with food rubbish on it and it closes at 24h

This was a really poor experience. I booked to stay at the Villa Saint Exupery and paid a 15 euro deposit through Hostel world and was then charged the remaining 69 euro balance when I arrived for a twin room. However, It wasn't until after I paid I was told that all the rooms were full and that I would have to stay at the Hôtel Nap around the corner. I was really surprised no one had told me this prior to arriving and couldn't believe the receptionist didn't inform me before taking the payment from me! I then went to check out the Nap hotel which isn't a bad replacement in terms of the room but it had none of the features and facilities I opted for when booking a room eg a quieter side road away from the traffic, more of an atmosphere in the common areas, gym, sauna etc. The hostel describe the hotel as an upgrade as it's a 'hotel' but in my opinion is a downgrade, doing a quick google search confirms this as the room is 10-18 euros cheaper. I was told I could use the facilities of the other hotel which is nice but who honestly books a hotel only to have to walk a couple of blocks every-time they want to use to use the facilities? Now obviously things go wrong and mistakes happen which is fine so I asked for a refund and said I would book somewhere else no problem. However the receptionist couldn't process the refund and said I would have to speak to the manager Rachel either by email or in person the next morning. I tried to resolve the issue that night by email but only received a reply saying they would offer me 2 free breakfasts and no refund. I then spoke to Rachel the next morning in person who explained there had been a leak in the room so was a last minute thing (again fine, no problem) but offered no real apology or offer to refund the difference in price, again just 2 very basic breakfasts and a list of reasons I should be happy with the new hotel, which felt a bit condescending. I get these things happen, that's fine. I just think it's wrong to charge someone for a room which that they can't stay in and move them to another hotel with no warning or option to cancel. Hopefully they'll train their staff and improve their communication with guests.

This hostel is located right next to the Nice Old Town and is walking distance from the beach, so the location is perfect. The hostel itself is spacious and has lots of vibey spots to hangout, work and meet new people. The hostel has a bar with happy hour from 6 to 8 which is great way to meet new people.

I love this hostel!! I stayed 5 nights at the Villa Saint Exupery Beach Hostel in Nice and I loved my stay.  The rooms are big and clean. The staff is super nice and helpful. The common area is amazing! The bar is perfect to socialize and meet other travelers. It was my second time here, and it really felt like coming back home, and didn't want to leave. On the last night, we joined the pub crawl, it was awesome! I'll definitely come back and stay here again. The hostel is only 2 min away from the beach and the Place Massena is basically in front of the door. To me, the location and atmosphere of this hostel are unbeatable! Can't wait to go back!

decent hostel, great location. looks a lot cleaner in the photos than in reality. my room was very stinky (not the hostels fault) with a shower that had very very poor drainage, as if my feet were taking a bath. the laundry service was very expensive and i didn’t like not being able to do my own laundry. i didn’t use the communal kitchen, but i had some roommates that got their stuff stolen from it. while i wouldn’t recommend this hostel or return, it wasn’t the absolute worst experience.

I had to cancel the reservation due a cancelled flight. Since I booked a non refundable room, I tried to manage with booking and the staff a suitable solution for both sides. Ross an employee told me I can keep the deposit until the end of the year. However I asked for a refund. The manager Jonathan can back to me via email, very firm and unflexibel - telling me there’s no refund and even no deposit option anymore !!!! What? You just promised this as well as booking did. and now? I have a feeling Jonathan is not customer orientated, not realized it’s COVID pandemic and everything is unsave for everyone but benefits from it by taking my money (270€) for nothing!!!! Probably never travelled too. Thanks again!

Not sure where to start. It’s close to some nice areas. The reception people are rude. After waking up at 8am, then driving all the way here I just wanted to check in and go to my room. People kept coming to the side of the reception instead of getting in line and she was working with them instead of me who got there first it’s a huge pet peeve of mine. Like am I invisible?? You should manage your line better so guests don’t feel overlooked and disrespected. The beds remind me of being in the military. Just metal and hard. The linens seem kinda old and vintage. You have to buy the towels you can just rent them. I asked to check out early and if I could get my money back and she flat out said “no.” And that’s it. Like cool good thing I can just dispute with my bank anyway. The pub crawl was okay…they didn’t really facilitate the drinking games or create a social environment for everyone to meet each other especially the solo travelers. And at some point I lost them all when we got to a really crowded bar so yeah. Definitely not worth 20 euro.

I stayed here for 4 nights as a solo traveller and would highly recommend this hostel. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and although there was a lively atmosphere my room was in a quiet part of the building. I had a double room with en suite and it was clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom. The breakfast is plentiful and great value. Location is ideal for beach, old town and transport.

Seems pretty and new but these are the things i found after just four nights staying in a 12 bed dorm: - Toilet not properly fastened to wall -> wobbely - No soap in dispenser by toilet - yanky beds -> every movement went through the whole bed - Stinky guy in room - Sketchy french m. teenagers in lobby/lounge/bar area -> no hostel feeling (bad vibes) - Most of the time two people playing music loud in lounge/bar => headaches & annoying - Cleaning only does the bedding not the bathroom etc - Kitchen ist not well equipped - A lot of things in kitchen only for staff -someone vacumed since 7 am - 24 h Reception rarely staffed - Small fridge - No bedlights - Bad wifi everywhere: patchy& unstable - Dishes never completely clean even tho they use a dishwasher to wash them - doors to the rooms have a big gap at the bottom so u could here everything going on in the hallway - showers were plastic and very small -> felt like showering in a porta potty And over all the cleanliness was really not great.. :/ Sad.. i expected more from the looks bc it does look really pretty

DO NOT USE THE LAUNDRY SERVICES HERE !!!!! It is overpriced and was advertised that they wash, dry and fold your clothes but this is not the case. Half of my clothes were still wet, a delicate piece of clothing was stained and completely ruined, there was also some of my clothes missing. Now I have to pay out of pocket to get this piece of clothing professionally cleaned again and to pay new clothes that I should not be going in the first place. The showers downstairs only have cold water so therefore I had no choice but to have a cold shower. Avoid this hostel!!! EDIT TO OWNER: it is not rare, majority of my group that I was with lost their clothes and were wet. No that is incorrect about the showers downstairs, multiple people had a cold shower. This is not what I pay for, I don't want a cold shower, no one does. Please take into account for areas that you need to improve on and things like this won't happen instead of being oblivious to it. It shouldn't be at my own risk, I expected my clothes to be clean without any stains on them like any other cleaning service at any other hostel.

Worst hostel ever stayed in. I have travelled across Asia and Europe and this did not live up to the expectations from the reviews and pictures online. Arrived late to an overwhelming stench of BO in the room. Tags were given to 'find' a free bed in the room. It was difficult to figure out what bed was free due to towels and clothes hanging from everywhere. Another female was given a bed in our room but we had to tell her there was no free beds available. Chose a mixed bed dorm. Very small for 10 people, nobody could social distance. In the current climate you would think that fewer people should be allowed per room. I was the only female in the 10 bed dorm. There was one bathroom between 10 people. Muliple people could not use the showers/bathroom due to the size, toliet not in cubicle therefore bathroom had to be locked each time. One shower not in use (out of 2). Long queue in morning. The room and bathroom were filthy. Didnt see any cleaning happening. Extra showers downstairs what were even filthier, broken toilet seats or lack of, no toilet paper, flies coming out of drain when going for a shower. Really loud aircon that didnt cool the room. 7€ to buy a towel (cannot rent) 6.5€ for a lock for the lockers. Ill informed staff - didnt seem to know much (strange for a hostel - they usually give so many recommendations). We also think one person was quarantining in our room. No social distancing or extra cleaning (or any cleaning) happening to keep every one safe. No idea how it is one of the best rated hostels, they just want your money for very little inconvenience.

The only good thing about this hostel is location. I killed 2 big bugs in bathroom the first day of my stay. It looks cozy went you enter and the staff is nice, but don’t be fooled, the rooms are terrible with ventilation and it’s so stinky. It’s just not worth it.

It’s not really a hostel, more of a 1* hotel. The rooms are small and the beds are fairly poor - the pillow is a piece of sponge. The common area is two rooms full of tables and chairs - with 3 U-shaped sofas always occupied by people on laptops or charging their phones. Theres a few seats upstairs but not nearly enough - overall there’s no place to relax or meet new people. Would not recommend for a solo traveller

I’ve stayed at a few hostels in the last few weeks. This by far is the worst. A) You can’t hire a towel - you have to pay €7 to buy a “new” towel. I was handed a towel out the same pile they use for giving out to the school trips. (Definitely wasn’t new and had been washed before) also had to be cash only. B) the rooms were awfull. They weren’t clean and were very dusty as the rooms are that hot you have to keep the windows open for ventilation. And next door is an active building site from 7am. So you need not worry about an alarm clock. C) the hostel is hired out to youth groups which makes it a weird vibe as they share the same social space so just feels awkward. This means they also shut the kitchen off for an hour or so at the peak time for food so they can cook the schools food first. D) wash anything you cook or eat with before use. Everything was dirty. The staff actively put dirty plates and bowls away full well knowing they are dirty. E) their is no sauna as advertised F) you have to pay a €2 refundable fee for the use of the keycard cash only.

(Translated by Google) This hostel is just gross. Don't be fooled by the pictures on Booking and Co. All pictures were edited with Photoshop. Wallpaper falls off the wall, rooms are not cleaned, smells and drips from every corner. The air conditioning is leaking, mold in the bathroom, hair from the previous guest on the toilet, bathtub, bed easy everywhere and this during Corona times. I wouldn't even expect this hostel from my enemy. Stay away from here!

I have mixed feelings about this hostel. Immediately upon check-in, the receptionist wasn't very welcoming and seemed like she wanted to get rid of me (i.e. I received no information regarding the amenities, no tour, etc. which I've always gotten at other hostels). I was handed two towels, both of which were dirty and had stains on them, although I was able to exchange them without a problem. The room itself was relatively clean, however the bedsheets had clearly been slept in and smelt very old and musty. The club next door had live music until 5 AM on both Friday and Saturday nights, making sleep very uncomfortable even with the AC on full blast. In terms of the amenities, the hostel does offer a nice selection of activities, including a bar crawl, several tours, etc. and the bar downstairs is a great feature to meet others. However, the price for laundry (8 euro) and breakfast (7) are not worth it. The common area is well kept and nice to get work done in, but the shared kitchen is not well stocked at all (no mugs or even oil/salt and pepper), the dishes are often dirty, and the one fridge is nowhere near big enough for the large number of guests staying there at one time. The basement has a small gym although it's clear it's been neglected, and the toilets and showers down there are not clean and have mold in the drains. For being one of the most popular and recommended hostels in Europe, I was pretty disappointed. Other than the cool design of the main area, the hostel's many amenities, and the pretty perfect location (5 mins walk from all shopping, the beach, etc.), I don't know that I would return to stay here.

They only accept cash payments up to 50 euros. I only needed the room 2 hours for a quick nap, but am asked to go get cash. Please keep the customer in mind in the future.

I visited here with a couple of friends this month and it was brilliant! The decor is really fun, there's a great atmosphere and staff were super friendly. You're a stones throw from the beach and the old town so the location is perfect for exploring Nice and going on other day trips along the coast. Will definitely return if I'm in Nice again!

Good place to meet people even if you're not staying there. Bar crawls are either a lot of people or only a few. Anyways not special and the price reduction isn't really a thing.

It's a party hostel, nice for young people but not the best choice to rest. Fortunately the loud music on the ground floor didn't reach the bedroom. Bring your own towel if you are going to stay here, because they charge 7 euros for towel. Overall a decent place, location is unbeatable, staff were friendly as well.

Liked my stay here :) The woman room was nice and cozy. Enough showers so no big waiting time. Bring a locker and have your own small towel. Big love for the gym downstairs, put me in a better mood after a small session. Great place to leave your luggage for the whole day. Thank you Dany for the check-in and the breakfast!

Nice party hostel, good common room. But I was not sure that my bed was clean. No airco, the toiletseat was gross and the room was really hot.

We arrived on Friday night. If you take a look at the pictures they show, the rooms seem to be very nice and comfortable. However, what we found was actually the opposite. The conditions of the room were disgusting. A complete scam. There were damp stains on the wall, peeling paint, and weird white stains on the bed. I even found a pair of flip flops near the bed. The floor was completely dirty, hair and dust, in addition to cigarettes smell. I requested the change at reception, but no one was interested in helping me. We went to another hotel. This was the response from booking (who helped me a lot and I thank them) to my refund request: “We've sent your feedback to the accommodation as well but unfortuantely they were unhelpful and declined any form of compensation on their end and for that we would like to also deeply appologize on behalf of our partner ”. I would never recommend this place. Hope travellers avoid this place.

Amazing hostel and once the renovations are done it will absolutely be the place to stay. We did their canyoning excursion as well, and it was absolutely the best part of our trip! Our guide Daniel was awesome and so funny and even though we couldn't get the required amount of people they worked it out for us to go anyway we're so thankful!

Great hostel for budget travellers. Amazing location/access to the beach and old town. Would highly recommend, though watch for the hidden fees. They charge 7 euros for a towel even in a private room, and 3 euro hold for each room key.

It’s located near enough the train stations while maintaining proximity to the free public beach. The actual hostel is nice. The social area is large, and the crowd is very social. Downstairs is also huge and also is the only hostel I know that has a 24/7 gym. Laundry service isn’t autonomous which is a bummer. The big downside for me was that the private room was not as pictured, and was pricey for what we received.

A perfect location, a clean room and great service. We truly enjoyed staying this place. We got a private room with en suite bathroom. We love to come back again. We used a shared kitchen. We enjoyed talking to people from all over the world. 24 hour reception was great. Our flight delayed and we got to here at midnight but our room was there, it was easy check in. Kind service made us feel so welcomed. There is a cleaning staff who works all day always cleaning. They keep this place really clean. We booked a private room so bath towels were included. They didn't charged us anything and we didn't need to pay for a deposit for the keys either. As you see our room was updated and clean, pretty spacious room and a good size bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped. Three microwave ovens. I didn't see an oven toaster or a toaster. But it has an full size oven. The breakfast looked good. We had own breakfast so we didn't try theirs but all looked pretty good. This place is next to the bus stops and the tram stop. Thanks for the comfortable stay.

I stayed here for two weeks in a private room whilst studying French. It was a good base however, the sheets are extremely old and uncomfortable. The pillows are hard as rocks. I went out and purchased a new pillow to elevate the neck pain. The bathroom is sufficient but there is no floor mat so I utilised my thongs. The rubbish from my room was taken but there was no sweeping/vacuuming or changing of the sheets. I would have been happy if someone came in once for a sweep and linen change. Next door, the lounge area is nice and modern. I used it a few times for study. The table was a bit sticky. Looking back, for the season I was in Nice (winter), there are much better options around but initially went here because of the location and the photos.

Facilities are good, cleanliness wise in the common areas depends on your room mates like any other hostel. The staff are well trained and friendly. Hostel also in some refugees program for minors. Additional bathrooms and toilets are in the basement. Storage of big items are free

Excellent location, a few minutes from the beach and the tram. The receptionist was very friendly, she gave me information about the hostel and it's conditions as well as a leaflet about the local area/day trips. I chose this hostel because I was arriving at 11pm, the alternatives didn't offer late check-in. The 7-person room was alright, the beds were basic and creaky, but fairly comfortable. There were small lockers in the room as well as a bathroom which was very modern and clean. Loses one star because my bed didn't have a socket when all of the others did, secondly, although my roommates were fairly respectful, you can hear people in the hallway chatting loudly or running around (teenage guests). I didn't use the kitchen although It looked like it could be more organised. The bar/common area was a pretty cool space to chill. €35 per night is a bit more expensive than other hostels but it seems reasonable in comparison to hotels or private room on the Cote d'azure. Travelling in April, the room wasn't too hot or too cold but I think AC is provided in the summer.

This was my first time staying in a hostel and it was a good experience. I booked a private suite with its own bathroom, which was nice. It was exactly what I needed - a quiet room close to the beach. I didn't really use any of the amenities as I was always out and about, except for the breakfast which was affordable (8 euros) and tasty. My own qualm was that the room didn't have a separate lock for the door*. Thankfully, I brought my own, so it was okay.

I stayed at the hostel a few weeks ago and from start to finish it was superb!! We had a private room for four people, the room was spotless, beds extremely comfortable and the bathroom was perfect with constant hot water. Breakfast was great and set us up for the day, eggs, cheese, ham, toast, cereal, juice and coffee. The location was spot on, five minutes to the square and not even ten minutes from the train station. Just off the main street too and easily found. Have to say the staff could not of been more helpful especially Edward as my friend needed the pharmacy and as it was a bank holiday we couldn’t find one but he came to our rescue. Also to Rachel for her knowledge and giving us great tips for the area. Finally I will definitely be back to stay as will my friends who I travelled with. This place is a hidden gem!!! Thanks for everything.

I have stayed here twice when I was solo-travelling (female). I really love the location as it is only a 2 minute walk to the main square with lots of shops, 10 minute walk to train station, 5 minute walk to the beach. It is my go-to choice of accommodation for Nice. The common areas are stunning and staff are very nice. The pub-crawl is lots of fun and I made many friends. The rooms are nice and same with bathrooms. I recommend this for female and male solo-travellers.

Spent 5 days where, I can't really say anything bad about the hostel. Stayed at the 5 bed bedroom. I don't know how, but on my last night the hostel managed to put 6 people on the room (didn't made any sense but didn't bother me since it was my last day). The tourist/ municipality fee being paid only in cash doesn't make much sense. I consider the laundry fee a little bit expensive compared to other hostels I stayed in France. On my last day it was possible to leave my luggage on the locker rooms and use all the common areas until it was time to go to the airport. My room had only 1 bathroom for 5 people but the hostel had more showers/ toilets on the basement if it was necessary. 10min walking from Nice-Ville train station, 5min walking to the beach and around 5-10min to the old town. It's worth the price paid and I would return.

Overpriced for what it offers. Awful big dorms with no privacy, too hot, and stink, windows need to be left open then you're always awake. Can't believe this place starts at €40 a night for these rooms. The downstairs looks really cool and appealing but only good if you're going to spend money at a bar / restaurant.

I must say, this hostel has an incredible and cozy atmosphere. It is exceptionally clean and meets the highest hygiene standards. I would like to mention Ms Rocio & Ms Ornella , who are like a superhero at the hostel. She is very friendly, helpful, and always quick to assist any guest requests. A true lovely ladies! The location of the hostel is also amazing, situated at the heart of the town , very close to the bus stop and in the beginning of the boulevard area and easily accessible to any place in Nice . Simply 10/10 an amazing place i recommending for all

My trip started off horrible. I was robbed in barcelona on the way to the airport. They took my documents and my phone. When I arrived to the airport they would not let me enter without my documents. So I missed my flight. I called the hotel 5 times that day and emailed them. Even leaving them a voicemail explaining I was robbed and cannot come and could they please help me. Booking.com contacted them and they only replied the day after my stay was suppose to be over. They never replied my emails or my calls. Yesterday they charged me bank the full price of the stay!! I understand that the stay was on non refundable but they could have helped me or discounted the price as I did not stay, was robbed of my documents and couldn't fly and the fact that not one person contacted me back from the hostel. I called yesterday and they were not apologetic and said we cannot help. I understand I had to pay but they could have gave a discount to help me or even called or emailed me back. Extremely bad customer service and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

So like most hostels, the pictures you see on here are usually not what it looks like today. That said, this hostel is quite good in terms of getting what you pay for. Excellent staff, great location (if you like to party) and the area is just beautiful. I lost my wallet but had access of my funds through my mobile and they worked with me to get me a room because most hostels require a physical credit card on site. The facilities are a little dated BUT they are clean and are definitely cozy. I must note that I stayed in a private room. I did not see the facilities or the atmosphere of the shared rooms section(s) but I assume they are probably about the same if not better as those rooms have more use.

Travelling by yourself comes with many anxieties but none more so than when looking for somewhere to stay, especially as I prefer the ore social hostel environment over that of a hotel. I stayed at the Exupery Beach Hostel on the back of a recommendation and could not have been happier. The rooms are clean, comfortable and safe. The staff could not have been more approachable or more willing to help and offer advice on how to spend my time in Nice. The hostel is not just a great base from which to explore but a haven on days when you’re not in the exploring mood. Great friendly atmosphere and would thoroughly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting. Thanks again for making my stay so magical.

I cannot recommend Hostel Villa Saint Exupery enough, I didn't want to leave!!! ever!!! If you come to Nice you HAVE to stay here. Great staff, super friendly even when I had an annoying request which they helped me with no questions asked. I also met a nice bunch of fellow travelers who we ended up going to Italy with. At first I thought it was a little expensive, but in the end totally worth it. Already plotting a return.....!

The experience at this hostel was horrible. The rented room was not the same as the photo. The mattresses were lousy and customer service uneducated. When asked about the fact that the room is completely different from what was offered in the photo, it was said that nothing could be done, as they were only obliged to install us in a room with three seats. The beds (bunk beds) had horrible mattresses. Anyway, the experience was terrible and I would not recommend this hostel to anyone.

Hello! I really love to travel, so I often stay in various hotels and hostels and I must say without exaggeration that the hostel Villa Saint Exupéry Beach where I have stayed many times is my favorite and best hostel I have ever been. The hostel is located five minutes walk from the sea in the heart of Nice. The price-quality relationship is perfect. Even rooms with 6 or 8 beds are designed in such a way that guests feel very relaxed. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Each bed has a small light bulb, for those like me who like to read a book at night and not disturb other guests. The staff is always ready to help, suggest where are the various entertainment places in the city. The owner Albert is a very heart-warm person. There is a large bar on the ground floor next to the réception. I advise everyone, especially young people, to stay in this hostel. Bonjour! Hello from Russia 😉😉😉

I can't believe how lucky I got with this hostel - after a nightmare with flights i had to book last minute accommodation and i was looked after so well, the reception night staff sorted out my room quickly and were lovely. I had no idea how well equipped the hostel is - the gym is great and the bar was a great place to work during the day. The room was very comfortable with clean facilities and one of those showers you never want to get out of. I got a sneak peak of the renovations they're undergoing and i can't wait to come back in the summer when it's completed - it looks like it'll be amazing! 10/10 would stay again!

Otherwise large air-conditioned dormitories, perfect location, security OK, staff ok ... (Translated by Google) I stayed 3 nights in a mixed dormitory (6 beds). The hostel is in a very convenient position both for the historic center and the promenade, and for the station which is approx. 15 minutes on foot. I found a great service, with a helpful staff and excellent English for those who do not speak the local language. The rooms are not so spacious but they are clean and the bathrooms are large and modern, in perfect condition. The hostel has a common room / bar where you can have breakfast, eat or drink with friends. It was a great experience and if I come to Nice I will definitely come back. (Translated by Google) Establishment to avoid! I was in a private room. I found a room whose walls were totally dilapidated (not to say unsanitary!). No towel, I have to get out of the annex to ask at reception. Of the two towels, one was dirty. The sink and the shower were blocked. The bathroom light detector did not work: the lights remained on 24 hours a day. At 10:30 am, someone knocks on the door. I say I'm still in my bed. Regardless, two technicians who wanted to change a light bulb opened the door and turned on the light! And of course without a mask (although it is mandatory in these times of covid-19 ...). The management of the hotel agrees to give me another room: the equipment worked (do not look at the finishes: some covers used to paint are still taped to the wall ...), but the sheets had sheep of dust (they had had to drag on the floor). The toilet brush was totally soiled. To top it off, even if Booking indicates that the tourist tax is included in the price paid online, it must be paid again on arrival (in cash) ... Apart from the exceptional location and the gym (good equipment for an establishment of this type), nothing is going well and the hygiene is really deplorable.
