Good location but lift was so small. I couldn't trust to use it. So I have to climb 5 floors until reach my room. People work there were very friendly.

Great place. The rooms are small, but very good and quite modern. The terrace was also much appreciated. The location is perfect and there is not too much noise. The only negative experience was that the housekeeper once forgot to lock the door of our room (note that the rooms have no safe). We pointed this out at reception and the issue did not occur again.

I loved this small hotel. It is very cozy and Has nice balconies in rooms. The Staff makes sure the rooms are clean every day.

Perfect location,clean rooms with a cute balcony where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast. The elevator is small and old so not the easiest if you will come with a baby. Very friendly service. My parents have stayed with this hotel for decades and are always satisfied.

The room seemed newly renovated with a lovely bathroom. It got cleaned each day we were there. Location was perfect, one street away from the gorgeous Old Town. The bar/restaurant looked good with cheap prices although never actually ate there. Lovely place to stay and so handy! Would highly recommend to friends

The room is small but I loved it. It felt so cozy and the bed was so comfortable. I like that this hotel is hidden and so close to everything. 2 blocks from the beach. Restaurants and shopping the moment you walk out of the building. Would stay here again!

Fine little hotel on top floors of characteristic building. Conveniently located in the thick of things. Very friendly welcome. Clean rooms, small but not cramped. Bring earplugs and you'll even get some rest in case you're interested.

I enjoyed staying in Hotel Solara. This is a budget friendly 2 star hotel and right in the city centre of Nice, so it has amazing location for tourists. Obviously the room amenities were limited as it was a budget hotel. But it would be enough you only intend to explore the area during the day and stay in the room to sleep only. Good Internet connection, a small refrigerator and a TV included as well. And the staff was extremely polite and attentive. I bought 9 eur breakfast from them and they punctually brought it to my room at the time I requested them. Also explained me the public transportation system and the main sightseeing places around Nice. So for this price range I would definitely book there again.

The service is impeccable. I was so happy by the greeting of the gentleman at reception. The elevator was broken and we both carried my suitcase up the 4 flights of stairs. The room was fantastic for a solo traveler and has a little fridge! The terrace overlooked the rooftops of Nice and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Thank you so much ☺️☺️

The rooms are very basic but they do have all of the essentials including aircon. Some of the fixtures are a little bit worn out and the rooms are a bit tired but nothing unexpected based on the hotel pictures. The price is perhaps a little steep based on this, however I believe the area itself is quite expensive for hotels. What makes up for it is the great location and great staff, who were very accommodating to my need for a very late check-in.

Good choice to sleep in Nice. The hotel is basic but the position is great, the staff is nice and the price is quite competitive. The only negative aspect is that the rooms are on the 4th floor of a palace but the elevator is tiny (only 2 people and a suitcase) and on the staircase there's an intense bad smell.
