The staff are very nice, and the location is good. Great AC, too. BUT this is neither beachfront nor are the pictures accurate and definitely not worth the prices charged! Very dark hallways, a teeny, tiny bathroom that water sprayed everywhere, and such a bad bed, I had to get a massage because my back killed me. I knew when I walked in I should have cancelled and found lodging elsewhere but I stayed and ended up every day spending time elsewhere to avoid going back to the hotel. It was stupid, and I should have gone with my initial reaction. I had read the reviews and thought I chose wisely. Next time? I will remind myself to Google Earth view, too.

We stayed here for the RWC in September 23. Didn't start off well as our flight was delayed, but the hotel staff were really accommodating and late check in was not an issue. Our room was cosy and had an art deco feel to it. It was quiet and had everything we needed. The hotel is also perfectly located for exploring Nice, between the old and new town. There was some building work going on around the area but it didn't impact us at all.

Wonderful place. Centrally located (the main strip right behind us yet our street was nice and quiet though meters away). Rooms well maintained, a perfect little boutique hotel. The staff is super friendly and our room was surprisingly spacious as well as nicely decorated - even the toiletries were nice. Price was borderline for the quality of the accommodation - we went during a bust time, though. Highly recommend.

Staff and service was great. The rooms however are falling apart. I touched the shower faucet and it fell off, I touched the toilet seat and it fell off, I opened a drawer and it fell out etc. Also no shower curtains and a see-through bathroom door so if your sharing a room with someone they can see you shower and using the toilet.

Nice location very close to the beach, decent size room family of 4, old building. They are not allowing food in the room (which is not known and not comfortable). Was an okay experience

This was our favorite hotel out of our one-week trip in Europe! I stayed in the biggest suite with two of my friends and there was ample amount of space. The hotel’s decor had character and made the space very inviting. The room was very clean and smelled nice. The staff is warm and tended to our every need. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be close to the beach in Nice and near the main restaurants. The train station is a 12 minute walk away which worked out well for us when visiting neighboring cities.

Love this hotel! Great location (walk to la plage, old town, restaurants, shops), very courteous and friendly staff, classy & contemporary rooms. The only part I struggled with was the 100+ year old elevator that got stuck - but I'm a bit claustrophobic so panicked - and it was resolved within 90 seconds. Otherwise - super value for these accommodations. Def recommend for any visitor to Nice.

A good hotel within walking distance to pretty much everything you need around Nice. The staff is wonderful, kind, and always willing to answer your questions. The staff I met also spoke French, English, and Russian, so you can get by here if your French is rusty. The rooms are plenty big and have a lot of character. My only thoughts which make this stay a bit inconvenient personally are: The hotel is build from an apartment building - which means, the hotel stairs are narrow and the elevator is quite vintage and may not fit 4 peoples luggage or 3 ppl luggage if you’re traveling in a larger group. So several trips may be needed. The lights in the halls and stairs I believe are motion sensitive but mostly they are delayed so you’re walking in the dark. The bathroom sliding door is see through (through the mirror and chrome) if you’re in the bathroom and turn off the light, you see the bedroom though the door. If you are in the bedroom and someone is in the bathroom taking a shower with the light on, you see them too. The bathtub is haunted * I say this lightly, but the jacuzzi button turn out randomly, you don’t even have to be in the bathroom for it to turn on. Lastly, someone in the rooms nearby (I’m pretty sure) smokes, so our room smells of cigarettes randomly then the vents are open and the ac is on.

Hotel was in a great location central to everything. The staff was friendly. Only downside was our room was a little small and made it difficult for 2 people to store luggage and get ready, and there was no window just windows in the bathroom.

The hotel is nice and clean, no bad smells and no trace of dirt. The property is located in the centre of nice, close to every attraction and to markets. The staff is helpful and they speak english. We felt very welcome here and we recommend it.

Not bad for a couple of nights. Pros: Close to beach, close to public transportation stops and right in the center of nice, close to many restaurants. The lady that cleans is extremely nice and friendly Cons: Shower had mold and it’s also very small Bed was uncomfortable I kept waking up with back pain Ac only worked the first night then after that I don’t know what happened and I slept uncomfortably hot. Construction site right in front of the hotel although didn’t bother me as I was sleeping pretty late. Other than that rooms seemed pretty clean I’d give it a 3/5

Location excellent, rooms recently renovated in art deco; some have jacuzzis and/or balconies. Staff sometimes nice, sometimes not. It depends on who is on duty.

Air conditioning doesn’t work. Checked in midnight, told the night shift manager about it. Switched us to another room, same problem. Nothing was done the next day to either room. Two out of two nights stay without air conditioning. So infuriating! Room cleaning cuts off at certain time. If you like to get out later, this isn’t the hotel for you. Not worth the money I spent.
