Wonderful location.. easily reachable by public transport. However, I feel the cost was high compared to the facility provided. Staffs are nice and supporting. However, rooms are not extra ordinary but very good for a vacation (to keep your luggage and come back and sleep after long day outing)

Great location, staff was very helpful. Rooms were tidy. But, count on public parking 5-10 away if you stay here and it was 37 euros for 2 days, not too bad. Rooms are not as pictured, at least two of the rooms we had. Very worn and rough around the edges, I am sure there are some rooms as advertised online but ours were far from that nice.

Nice hotel at super central location near shops, reataurants and see. The rooms were nice and very clean. We appreciated the parking arrangement and the kind service by the different hosts.

Small bedroom, but overall neat, clean, and well cared for. It has the bathroom of dreams, though the toilet is a bit high up compared to normal. You must leave your room key with reception when you leave for the day, which is a bit dated, and the lift is tiny. I could connect to the wifi but never was able to get any messages out or browse the internet while connected, so I had to use my data or my friend's wifi device. Overall, happy with the accommodations.

the rooms were in need of renovating. Our room had big water stains in the ceiling. The shower cord was leaking and rust in the bath. Generally the room in need of doing up. Towels paper thin and only 1 teabag per day per person, coffee would also have been nice for a choice. Reception staff were very nice and pleasant.

The good: Location is great, 22€/day come and go parking is a short 4 minute walk away, staff are friendly, room and bed sheets are clean. The bad: All negative reviews here are accurate. Hotel is very dated, no decor, musty smell lingering in the hallways and rooms, stained carpet, bathrooms stocked only with toilet paper and liquid soap, I don't know if the thin smelly towels are unsanitary but its very unpleasant to use, bathroom door lock painted over and does not work, bed/mattress was so uncomfortable that I even asked the staff if there was another room, matress or at least a matress topper and was told that all rooms have similar mattresses and were purchased all around the same time. See a photo of a pullout sofa in our room ( it looks nothing like in the listing).

Great location and friendly staff. Room was not at all what we expected. The beds were uncomfortable and basically just small cots. The shower did not work. The linens (bed and bath) are cheap and the towels smell musty. We did not have time for breakfast as our plane left early. Very glad it was a ghost stay. If more than one night, we would have changed hotels.

We had an unfortunate situation with you guys were the card for the payed parking didn’t work and we had to pay the parking twice. We asked from you to get a refund from your position wasn’t in our favor the guests. We were claiming a refund for the parking and you didn’t have us a choice that were fair for both parts only convenient for you without a real desire to help the guests. Very sad and unprofessional.

My recent stay at this hotel was marked by a warm and welcoming atmosphere that left a lasting impression on me. The Hotel Helvetique Nice is a charming boutique hotel located on Rue de l’Hotel des Postes in Nice, and it definitely deserves its reputation as one of the best hotels in the area. The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the Promenade des Anglais and the beach. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any questions or concerns I had during my stay. Despite the many positive aspects of this hotel, I have to deduct one star for the lack of variety in breakfast options. While the breakfast served was delicious and well-prepared, it could benefit from a wider selection of dishes. Additionally, I noticed that the hotel's Wi-Fi connection could be spotty at times, which could be inconvenient for guests who need to stay connected. Overall, visitors to Hotel Helvetique Nice can expect to experience a relaxing and comfortable stay in a charming setting. The ambiance is peaceful and serene, making it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The quality of the products and services offered is top-notch, and the staff is attentive and helpful. What sets Hotel Helvetique Nice apart from other hotels is its attention to detail and personalized service. From the moment I arrived until the time I checked out, I felt like a valued guest, and it's clear that the hotel staff takes great pride in ensuring that every guest has a memorable stay. In conclusion, I highly recommend Hotel Helvetique Nice to anyone looking for a top-notch hotel experience in Nice. While there is room for improvement in certain areas, the overall quality of this hotel makes it a standout choice for anyone visiting the area.

Loved Pierre at the reception! Location is great, rooms are a bit old-looking, but the location is everything considering this price rate.

We had a very pleasant stay for the weekend in Nice! Everything is nearby: boulevard, stores, restaurants, café and of course the carnaval. The people from hotel Helvetique were very nice and helpful.

My room was from the 90s according the interior. Time for refreshments. Clean and good location. The staff on reception is really friendly. I had a pretty high rate that didn’t give me the feeling to be worth. Couldn’t get wine glasses in the late evening from the nighty. That’s a must.

Hotel Helvetique is in a perfect location in Nice close to the Place Massena, Promenade, Train station, Old Town etc. The staff was incredibly kind and always helpful. The rooms are very clean. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for people who want to be in a walking distance from all Nice has to offer

Good location, difficult to get to by car, good sized room. Good breakfast. Helpful 24hr staff. Would have been 5 stars, but for the shower (hand held only).

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and on the second night, I asked for my room to be cleaned, but they told me they couldn't because it was already full, okay, I asked for the next day so, I stay all day outside the room I imagined that they were going to clean, when it was 6 pm at night that I arrived to take a shower, the girl wanted to clean, she insisted and I said no, because I was getting ready to go out, and then it wouldn't do for her to come back the next day because it would already be the checked out of the hotel and the room was dirty for 4 nights, I thought this issue was very poorly organised.

Shabby hotel. Exorbitant price. It feels like you are in a blockhouse. Watch out for claustrophobia. Extremely rude management. Go your way...Univers hotel in two pats: top !!

Well located, clean and comfortable. Only issues were that you can listen to everything.

Disappointed when I could not use bathtub for first 2 nights during 3 nights stay. Reception said sorry, but I could not feel that he tried to do the best. Otherwise I am satisfied due to the best location and price effectiveness. However that's all.

The location is great and also the staff (they are really nice). The hotel cleary is older, and thats ok, but a few things were not satisfactory, like the bathroom, case the toilet was smeeling badly and the hair dryier were too old and I bearly was able to use it.
