Great location and amazing service. Very comfortable rooms which are nicely decorated. Loved the addition of a kitchenette and 24/7 available water, coffee, tea. Really enjoyed my stay there and will be back

Not sure if I would rate this a 4* property. I personally thought it was a little tired in some areas. It was clean though, and the beds were comfy room a bit on the small side but OKfor a base. Had to fight a little with the shower head. It definitely has the best location minutes from the seafront and a short walk into town. For the price we paid, you couldn't have asked for more for a winter break. I would stay again purely on location.

Could not have been happier with our choice to stay at The Jay by HappyCulture. The staff here is as good if not better than any 5-Star luxury hotel. They make guests feel like family. The location is also amazing, a 2 min walk from all the action and get just offset enough to be quiet and peaceful. Will definitely return to The Jay the next time we’re in the area.

We stayed at the Jay for our honeymoon and had a great time here. The location of the hotel is great - only a block from the ocean and in the middle of the city center. We mostly walked everywhere to old town, around the city center, and to the train station to get to Eze or Monaco. We were kindly upgraded to a room with a balcony by Alain, who was such a delight! As anything came up, he was quick to help and make sure we were well taken care of. We forgot our US outlet converters, our wine bottle opener broke, and they had everything we needed to borrow. The rooms are a charming and well decorated, the views from the balcony are beautiful, and overall we had a great time. Thanks Alain!

The Jay Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Location is perfect (2 easy blocks) to the Promenade (sea/beach). Also in a very safe neighborhood, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful - especially helpful to us with our limited French. Well appointed rooms - we loved our spacious “suite/apartment”. Absolutely have fallen in love with Nice!

What is incredibly lovely place to stay in the heart of Nice! The price was fabulous, the people that work there even better. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Why can’t all hotels perform at this level? The included breakfast was very nice with hot selections and a good assortment of local cheeses.

Great few days at The Jay. Small, contemporary, boutique hotel located less than 5 mins walk from the seafront. Great value and brilliant staff. Thanks!

Stayed here for a day and just loved it! The ambiance was just lovely and so south of France, The staff , the manger all the team were so friendly attentive and kind. They even left a little gift ❤️ The breakfast is very good , The room came with a nice view and it was nice to open in the morning and smell the fresh air of the beach , Great location 2m from the Promenade des Anglais and 15m walk from old Nice and 5 min from the bus station to Monaco - Lots of cafes and restaurants near by to explore. I loved it so much I have been recommending it to my friends - all of which have booked rooms and also loved it! Highly recommended! Lara 🫶🏻💗

Truly an exceptional service, everyone go above and beyond to help you! Nechille, Amir, and Jonathan have been spectacular; they literally learnt my favourite drink recipe so I could enjoy and were on the hunt for my favourite restaurants to make a reservation on my behalf. A big thank you to Isobella who was absolutely amazing at cleaning our room! There was not a spec of dust ANYWHERE! If you haven’t stayed here, DO! You will not be disappointed

This hotel made for a great stay in Nice. It's situated just next to the popular street for the best restaurants - ask the front desk what spots to recommend. They'll even make a reservation for you upon request! I was able to walk to the beach (just a few minutes walk from the hotel). I loved the bed, it's probably one of my favorites of any hotel I've stayed in. I was able to sleep in and get 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Wow!

This was on the most welcoming and Warm hotels we stayed in for a long time. The atmosphere is cosy, relaxing and the staff extremely friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help. Especially Liliana, the manager, goes far and beyond her "normal duties". She is the an incredible professional, warm and caring. Great host. Wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. For sure we will be back here on our next trip in Nice. Thank you Jay!

Absolutely beautiful and exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. They even helped me hire a mobility scooter for the week so that I could go out and very kindly stored it safely for me in the reception area so that I didn't have to negotiate the hotel bedroom doorway as it was a much larger scooter than the one I use at home. They treated me with the utmost respect at all times, respecting my determination to be as independent as possible but coming straight to my aid when I was unable to do something for myself. I can't praise the management and the team enough, they have helped me regain so much of the confidence I had lost. I am sure I will become a regular visitor because I feel so comfortable and "at home" at The Jay.

A cosy and clean hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast is great. I was initially only trying out, however ended up having breakfast in the hotel everyday. Location is great, just a stone throw away from the beach. I would stay here again the next time I visit Nice!!! 😊

The hotel is quite centrally located, but you have to walk a bit to get to the more central part and the old town. Service and the people who work there smile and are service-minded. Breakfast has a good selection, but after day 3 it still gets a bit boring. We had a large room with a balcony and sofa bed. The sofa bed was comfortable. There is a lot of noice from the streets at night. I guess a higher floor would maybe be somewhat quieter. Overall, it was a nice stay, a bit expensive considering the overall impression. But definitely a good hotel. Will be staying closer to the old town next time.

My wife and I stayed in 7 hotels during our France vacation, and this was the best by far. Service: Everyone was absolutely wonderful. All of the staff were so helpful with anything we needed. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and they left us balloons, chocolates, drink tickets, and a note in our room. This is the only hotel in France that did anything for us. The staff even remembered our name every time we entered or left the hotel, and were great with giving us any recommendations. Hotel: The rooms are really nicely decorated, very clean, and a great size. We paid more money elsewhere for rooms that were not nearly as nice. You really get great value for your money here. Location: This is 2-3 minutes walk from the beach. There is no point in paying extra to be right on the water. It is also right across from a pharmacy and grocery store which is very helpful if you need anything. Upon leaving we found out there are 50 of these hotels across France, I wish I knew in advance how great they would be, I would have exclusively stayed at this chain.

The location is great, the room is spacious and you have everything you need; a small kitchen with kettle, plates, cutlery, etc. Perfect if you would like to make your own breakfast (a supermarket is only steps away from the hotel!). Only the bathroom division from room 507 is not very handy if you're traveling with a kid. All staff are nice but extra credits to the receptionist in the evenings, a very friendly sir that welcomed you warmly every time you are back at the hotel.

Our trip was nothing less than brilliant. The service was excellent, Alain made us feel so warm and welcome, he made our stay very wholesome and every time I will think of our trip to nice, it will touch my heart. When we would ask the staff for suggestions where to go for breakfast or drinks even sight seeing they would give us the best of the best suggestions, and they would pour their heart into finding a suitable place for us. The rooms where very clean and well designed, every time there were clean towels and the pressure of the water was strong, the view was romantic and the bed was so comfortable I actually told my sister which I was traveling with that I haven't slept that good in a while. So yes, I strongly recommend this hostel.

I would like to thank staff of Jay Hotel and specially Mr. Alain, for very warm welcome of my daughters. They were so amazed that everyone in Hotel was advising and arranging for them best places to visit and dine. Giving only best recommendations! Room was perfect, very clean, very warm. My daughter said, that she had best sleep in her life! Small details, like a steps on staircase with writing of how many calories you will loose going up to your room. Location can't be better. I am so happy, that I choose this Hotel for my Girls first trip to Nice. They said, that people in Nice are kind and caring. I spend 3 days reading horrific reviews for Hotels, where people described walking closets, no waters, dumpsters, rood staff, noise and dirt everywhere. But Hotel is stylish and beautiful. Thank you guys so much ! We will surely come this spring! Thank you, Alain!

Very nice hotel with a great location in Nice, just two blocks from the beach. About 10 to 15 minute walk to old Nice where all the bars and restaurants you'd ever need. The breakfast is self serve continental, but being in France, all the bread, cheese, pastries are delicious. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely room, perfectly clean and cooling air con. Would stay again and recommend.

The rooms are cute and fresh, nicely decorated and well cleaned. Both the rooms and the common spaces are nice to hang out and relax and you feel welcome here. Good amenities, free coffee, and friendly staff. Alain is especially nice and friendly with kids, and Liliana is very helpful, friendly and chatty. We extended our stay for one day in full season and they were very helpful in accommodating us. The only downside is if you come by car you need to find a public parking where to park your car. They really go for the happy experience so I would recommend them because customer service is rather lacking in many French hotels.

Wonderful! Great locations right in the middle of Nice, but still quiet. Great breakfast and spacious suite with staff making it truly our home away from home. Thank you
