We stayed here for 2 nights in early April and were generally satisfied. First the pluses: ++The view from the balconies is unbeatable! You have the most beautiful view of the harbor and all the restaurants below.☀️🌅 ++ The hotel staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful.👍 ++ & the train station is pretty close. (for Nice or Monaco) can't say anything negative about them. There is a small disadvantage that some motorists find problematic, 🚃🚉 --Parking spot; either the next parking lot with a ramp (24/7) but a bit expensive or you park further up, "if you're lucky" and always walk down... 🅿️🚗

I HATE these people. I was getting married here and had booked a number of rooms in the hotel for friends and family. On the day of my wedding they forcefully ejected me from my room at 12 noon, just as I was getting ready for my big day. All I needed was 30 more minutes to get ready. I had to go to my best man's room to get dressed and my hair was awful in the photos because of the panic/rush. I hope the place burns to the ground 🤬

My friends and I had such a nice time in Villefranche and loved the Welcome Hotel. Everyone was so lovely and helpful. It was our first time traveling internationally since the COVID pandemic started, and everyone at the hotel was very cognizant of safety guidelines and cleanliness. The ambiance of the hotel was so charming and we loved all of the Jean Cocteau art. We spent a lot of time sipping wine on our balcony overlooking the sea. Every question we had was answered quickly and any need met almost immediately. The staff really was incredible and made our trip even more memorable. I would love to come back to Villefranche and would definitely stay at the Welcome Hotel again.

Every staff member was excellent at their job. Beds were very comfortable and room was cleaned perfectly daily. Of course the location cannot be beat. We loved having the wine bar downstairs, so convenient for apero time. We don't have any complaints, it was a perfect vacation.

Had an amazing, one night stay, here. Got here literally without a reservation since I've erroneously booked the wrong dates. They welcomed us and made us feel comfortable whilst taking care of our accommodations. The rooms were both with a beautiful Seaview. Very comfortable and had a restful sleep. Breakfast was served in my room, as I requested and it was as delicious as it looks in the picture included. Checkout was a breeze and they kept our baggage safe until we were done with lunch in Le Mere Germaine, which you shouldn't pass up as well. I'll certainly be back for another stay if I'm in the area!

Not a great experience, air conditioning was broken the first night and weak and underpowered the rest of the stay. The rooms as well as hot are very small and have no tea or coffee making facilities. The bed was uncomfortable and very hard. On the plus side the balcony is beautiful although I wish the open air bar wouldn’t play loud music until late which is just opposite. I wouldn’t stay here again and refuse to believe this is an alleged 4 star hotel.

Great Value. For the money what you get is a really good value. Terrific setting. The hotel is located in the harbor of Ville France Sur Mer. The coffee and pastries offered downstairs was a really good way to start the day. Friendly staff. The hostess on duty actually booked my reservation into a very upscale local restaurant.

This hotel is right next to the ocean. My window view is just spectacular. My son and I enjoyed having dinner at the balcony of our room so much. The beautiful, quiet, secluded feel is priceless.

The Welcome Hotel was one of the best managed, best maintained, most aesthetically pleasing hotels that I have had the pleasure of staying in . It was ideally situated and the front of the house was most accommodating. The buffet breakfast exceeded expectation and was accompanied by a gorgeous view of the bay. Also, the morning staff were welcoming and engaging. I have paid much more and enjoyed much less. Overall, I would say well done and I would recommend without reservation.

Not horrible but not great for the price. Exceedingly average hotel in a nice location. A/C didn't work on second night - which happens - but they promptly had someone 'check' upon check-out who - not to my surprise - told us that it was working fine and that the room was cold (not possible as we turned it off and opened the door to the outside when we realized it wasn't working properly.) Not a big deal but slightly irritating.

Charming, lovely hotel. Staff was exceptional. Loved enjoying the scenery and breakfast on the balcony. Easy walk to the train. Beach near by. Great location to get away. Especially loved the artwork through out the hotel.

We were really happy to spend 6 days at your hotel. We loved the location--so near so many restaurants and so near the sea. We had Rm 58 and we loved the 2 balconies. That was why I booked it, based on a picture I saw on the website. The staff and cleanliness were excellent. The only possible negative thing is that you might want to consider replacing the carpet/bed sham/paint in the next year or two. They could use a "refurbishment" in the near future. But we overall were glad we had the opportunity to stay at your hotel!

My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights in July. It was FANTASTIC. The beds were comfortable, the AC was life saving, the room was so quiet, the soaps smelled so lovely, and you cannot beat the VIEW. Everyone we met at the hotel was very friendly and happy to help us with anything. I definitely will be back, and highly recommend!

We loved our stay and would come back again. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The room was plenty big and was nicely decorated, with a balcony facing the sea. We felt very welcome at the welcome hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed recent visit beginning October. Location and staff great as ever and with hotel organising taxi collection and drop off at airport - icing on the cake. Look forward to returning again soon.

Overall the place was great. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. The only thing that left a bit to be desired was our room. It was a bit noisy as it was on the 1st floor and also near the elevator. And you charged for towels. More a principle type thing as its a hotel on a beach and beach towels should come for free.

Stayed here for four nights at the end of July and was generally pleased. First with the pros: the view from the balconies can’t be beat! You have the most gorgeous view of the port and all of the restaurants down below. The hotel staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. I can’t think of one negative thing to say about them. There are a couple of small cons that some people may find problematic: the air conditioning in the rooms (or mine, at least) did not work very well. There is one small vent in the bedroom area that puts out a little air, but with the sun hitting all of the rooms until about 5pm, they should really think about upgrading that. There’s also no a/c in the bathroom, so it gets quite hot and muggy in there after a shower. Also, there is no coffee maker in the room. Instead, you can either have breakfast downstairs or in your room for €20/day, which I found to be really expensive for what you get. A simple Nespresso machine in the room would be a nice touch. In the end, I still think it’s a wonderful place to stay and would happily recommend to others! I just maybe would caution them against going when it’s late in the summer and too hot.

Hotel with a breathtaking view in a quiet area of Nice. The hotel staff are one of the most helpful and friendly I've encountered. The room is spacious and packed with charm. Many restaurants with wonderful food nearby, and train station is just a short walk away. I really didn't want to leave .

Overall it was a great stay, the cruise ship suite was marvelously decorated and the two balconies were splendid. We liked the bed, we loved the bathtub. Obviously the view was amazing and we loved the shades over the balconies. The personnel was very polite. The flowers in a little vase on arrival was an extremely nice touch. The electric kettle was very convenient. The olive tree on the balcony was cute. The location was excellent, with an easy scenic walk for the (free) car parking in February. I did not like that in 5 days of stay the bedsheets were never changed. I found it quite shocking. Also we liked the bath cubes and asked the maid for more, she gave only for one more bath but for the next days we never received more. Of course I could have asked but I believe the bedsheets should have been changed at least every other day and little things like bath cubes could be given more generously. I also could hear the noise from the elevator while in bed in the bedroom. The tiny toilet room that had no water basin was very inconvenient. The wardrobe was small to hang all the clothes. Otherwise the hotel was very comfortable, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

It was a very nice and enjoyable experience. A lot of great things to share with our friends and of course the hotel will be recommended from our side. One point of attention: Since we stayed on the first floor, we found in the balcony cigarettes thrown from the upper floors balconies and even if we announced it, there was no response on this topic. It could be unpleasant when preparing for breakfast to see such small rubbish on the balcony.

Disappointing experience, I used to enjoy have a cocktail in the Welcome hotel. It was and still is an expensive place, a cocktail will set you back back 15 € but it was well worth it . But something has changed, the bloody Mary is very watery and you can't get a drink done the same way twice. Once you get a bowl of crisp and olives or bread crisps and the next time you get 4 bread crisps between 4 people. I think it's time to go back to the basics for the staff and try to be a bit more consistent. Will not go back for a good will.

It has a wonderful view amazing, location is perfect, close to everywhere. Hotel was very clean and stuff was wearing masks very cautious. Only thing for me the wall to wall carpet. Hard with the allergies but the rest was clean, comfortable and restfully.
