The worst tourist trap Nice has to offer!!! Just don't do it An embarrassment to any French restaurant. The place is only interested in shoveling people in and out as quickly as possible. Nobody in our party of six had a decent meal. Tuna, scallops, muscles and risotto were the worst we ever had. They shouldn't be allowed to call what they served us French onion soup, it's really is a blasphemy. Make better plans and don't fall for this disaster of a restaurant!!!

The service was amazing which is why I’ve given it 2 stars. Service was really kind and prompt. The food on the other hand was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. If I was back in New York I 100% would have sent it back and not paid. I ordered grilled fish. This was a super fishy piece of sea bream that was covered in oil and definitely not grilled. It came with soggy veggies. With the abundance of fresh produce available at the market every day it’s astonishing that this is what was served. I already feel sick from the small bit I did eat. Do not go here. You’re better off at McDonald’s.

Very warmth waitress and nothing went wrong food. We came to the restaurant as the one we intended to go was closed and another full house but it didn’t disappoint. The oyster is fresh, fries is great and pizza was fine, paste is great. Left Satisfied.

The oyster was nice! The mussels was so so, about half of them wasn’t fresh. The service was bad. One of the waiter was forcing me to pay tips. He brought the bill with €60.5 and said the tips is not include in the bill, then he insert €72.5 in total on the credit card machine and ask me to pay. I asked how many % normally charge for the tips? He said 20%. Even I went back to talk to the waiter that I have problem with the bill, and he immediately gave me €10 cash I still will never go back to this restaurant ever again.

We had a good, not great experience here. Our first server was lovely, but she must have finished her shift and the next guy was rather stand off ish. The sea bream was lovely and the pizza was nice but not exceptional. Salad great. All in all okay value.

It’s a very convenient place to seat and drink in the heart of Nice! They are always packed. Make sure find a nice seat. Sometimes it gets too hot in summer for outside seating. The have shortage of staff there but the guy he was serving us, was very fast and also could speak English a little bit.

Im trully sorry to give 3 stars, because the place itself is nice and cosy, the waiter super friendly! But the food… Nothing special, the green salad, well I didn’t expect much, but to put a bunch of green leaves with two tomatoes and the smallest amonunt od dressing( almost none!), thats a shame. The frog legs were quite dry and the pasta ocercooked and watery.

We were choosing the place to have a lunch on the street parallel to the promenade between many situated over there, but we stopped in this one because it had the best offer and a good atmosphere. The guy who served us, Michel, instantly became our friend, and offered us the best food from the menu and the best place on the terrace. Also he gave us a lot of good tips on how to explore the town, and how to enjoy it at maximum. Everything we ate was very tasty. The food tasted as good as it looked. Our experience was very pleasant. We recommend this place to all travelers who are visiting Nice.

Good food a bit expensive but reasonable…The service was horrible the waiter was stressed and a bit arrogant which i can understand as someone who is tired and needs a break or hate his job, but he was really pushing it on us and tries to shut us up by talking with a louder voice. That’s why I couldn’t enjoy the meal.

We ate here after our kids needing something to eat and not being able to wait any longer until we found the perfect restaurant. We never normally eat at a restaurant that has no customers but could not wait in this instance. We were sat in an outside table and when we asked to be seated inside due to being sat in a smoking section an older waiter rudely told my wife that you can smoke everywhere in France. His opinion was later evidenced by the ash tray sitting at the counter inside the restaurant. In retrospect i would tell this waiter that it is illegal to smoke both inside his owners restaurant and in the undercover outdoor area in France. We ordered Paella which was very basic without chorizo, saffron or garnish. It was also overpowered by the amount of tumeric added. Not enjoyable. I was sure they had not given me the wine I ordered (it was a very dark pinot noir) and my wife was charged 13 euro for her two glasses of prosseco (listed as 10 euro on the menu). My two daughters ordered pizza and we saw the pizza boxes being delivered from somewhere else, coming in the front door. The older waiter after we had asked to pack my younger daughters pizza flung the plate at the younger waiter launching a piece of pizza off the plate onto the ground. At the end of the meal we were asked for a tip, which is the first in France. Not a pleasant lunch.

Amazing food and great ambience. We’ve been coming here for years and it’s always a pleasure to be back. Oysters and paella are particularly amazing!

Was served penne pasta with some sort of "cheese sauce"(it was not cheese sauce) and ONE slice of ham. Worst thing I've been served at a restaurant. DO NOT go here. Also, the staff is rude and mean.

We were really hungry so we sat down without looking at the reviews. After ordering we started reading them and expected the worst. As others have said water is very expensive, one 750ml bottle was 7,5€. We ordered two pizza margaritas and they were very good. The service was great, nice waiters. Other reviews have stated that they were forced to pay a tip and we fortunatelly weren't so maybe it depends on the waiter. The only thing that bothered me was after we asked for the bill we waited 10 minutes and then asked again and were only brought the bill and then had to wait another 10 minutes before actually paying.

I love the people here!! I loved the service and kind people. Especially the oysters, I am rather picky with my oysters and these were to perfection. Impromptu and lovely experience eating here today- after a day of shopping and appointments it was lunch time and I stumbled upon a welcoming restaurant with great food! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Also it’s adjacent to several shops so you can continue looking about right after you dine to perfection!

I am happy i did not order much... Run away from here if you have not order yet. I was only fooled by a too friendly doorman for a "happy hour" prices which were forgotten next minute. And my tip round up was just 2e. Oysters elsewhere in Nice cost a euro less per piece.

As soon as you sit down they will offer still or sparkling water then charge you 9 Euros! They did it to every table they seated. Ask for tap water. The pizza was ok. The wine was warm. Avoid this place and find somewhere else.

Good food in Nice, for a change. If you're a tourist like me you have been probably struggling to get good decent food. This place actually delivers. Great wine, amazing pizza and delicious gnocci!

The food was good, so we came back multiple times. But in all visits they put much more expensive wine on the bill. First I thought it was an oversight, but they are did this every time. So SCAM!!! They could have a nice restaurant running, if they would not cheat on their costumers...
