Chinese and Viet spot with a good assortment of both. We mainly tried their noodle soup dishes which was hearty. The owner is friendly and accommodating, also speak English. Overall a good spot to hit up if you’re missing a little Asian cuisine.

Approached at dinner opening and they were able to accommodate me solo, though reservations are highly recommended. The place is booked full for dinner. The food is nice, not covered in grease and the portions are right. I love the care as each item would come out, letting me know what it was (the bonus house drink! So good). I was able to eat here as a veggie-consumer with an onion allergy. The place does have regulars who dine here and the owners remembered them. That’s a nice touch for a business.

The owner is very nice and kind. The food is pretty nice, guaranteed from my asian blood. The price was very good. We’re having 4 dishes within 40£. My favorite dish would be the Beef pho, the broth was very nice and they gave a lots of meat!

This is a very pleasant and welcoming Vietnamese-Mandarin restaurant. The history of why it is a fusion restaurant is interesting, as recounted by the owners. Apparently, when they bought it years ago, there was a special city tax levied on cultural changes to restaurants. It had been a Mandarin restaurant and so, instead of simply starting a Vietnamese restaurant, which is their background, they made it Vietnamese-Mandarin to avoid the tax. No matter! The food is good if somewhat basic, and the owners, a married couple, are lovely. Be sure to try out a few language combos on the owner; she speaks many languages (including Hebrew, Korean and Arabic in addition to Vietnamese, French and English)!

I’d give this place 6 stars if I could! We ordered the Saigonese noodle soup, the roasted duck and the crispy rice dish with shrimp and all were absolutely delicious! It was so good we just wanted more food! I wish we could’ve had more chances to go here while in Nice. The best part though was the service. The owner here is SO incredibly nice and friendly and even gave us some extra things for our daughters. I don’t think we’ve ever been to a restaurant where the people were so incredibly welcoming and hospitable. If you’re in Nice I highly recommend going here!

Delicious viet food and uncle is so funny and hospitable! We just arrived in Nice yesterday but so far it’s the best meal and experience we’ve had here!

We had two meals here and I would say these were the best two we have ever had in Nice! Very topical and fresh food with amazing taste. The warm-hearted owner gave me many useful suggestions on visiting Nice. We will definitely come back the next time when touring Nice.

Le Mandarin has delicious food! I would highly recommend, i am picky with my soups/asian food in general and it exceeded my expectations. The staff here and i believe the owners are really really friendly, made our dinner even more enjoyable. Will definitely be our go to when we visit nice again.

Best chicken soup I have ever had. The owner is super friendly also. My wife had a sore throat and he made us a traditional tea with mint and ginger to help. My wife also got an amazing crab soup.

Food was great and service was amazing. The pho bo flavor is very authentic and tastes just like pho in hanoi. We came back for a second time; brought our new Italian friends and introduced them to Vietnamese food. Highly recommended!!

Good food and lovely service, added that the server was super friendly. The starter drink and snack alongside with the hot towels at the end was a very nice touch. Meals were big portioned and tasty!

Uncle was so kind and funny. Not only was the food incredibly delicious. He always made sure we had enough sauces and leafy greens for our soups and appetizer. We also had delicious coffee. Best meal and service we’ve had in Nice. Will be returning very soon.
