Vera fast, helpful and pleasant service. You can take some of the combos and you can save money. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really good! The burgers are juicy, fresh and very tasty. I will go again there when I am back to Nice. It was a bit pricey but still I will highly recommend it!

Vegetarian burger so delicious!! Didn’t expect huge mushroom in it. Even small size could feel full! And the lady employee today was so friendly, we experienced a nice burger adventure! Will definitely come back again!! Even though just one option for vegetarian, still highly recommend ;)

We recently dined at Big Fernand with high hopes, given the number of reviews. Upon entering, I was met with an environment that lacked any freshness. The air felt stagnant and stifling, almost as if the circulation hadn’t been opened in days. However, what truly caught my attention for all the wrong reasons was our table. It was visibly dirty and had a sticky residue that made me question the cleanliness standards of the entire establishment. While I could have overlooked this as a one-off oversight, what transpired next left a lasting negative impression. We decided to order fries alongside our burgers. To say they were a disappointment would be an understatement. The fries were not fresh, and it was evident that they had been fried, left to cool, and then simply reheated for our order. The pieces were frustratingly small, making them hard to pick up, and their texture was off-puttingly hard, rendering them almost inedible. You can see it from the pictures I took. Now, it wasn't all bad. The hamburger with blue cheese did deliver on taste. The meat was flavorful and the bun was soft and fresh. Yet, this lone highlight couldn't overshadow the multiple negatives. Furthermore, given the subpar service and food quality, it felt like a slap in the face to be charged such high rates. It's one thing to charge premium prices, but the experience and offerings should match, and sadly, this wasn’t the case here. All in all, while they might have a delicious blue cheese burger, the overall experience was marred by the lack of cleanliness, substandard fries, and disproportionate pricing. We genuinely wanted to enjoy our visit, but I can confidently say that I won't be giving this place a second chance.

Horrible Costumer service. I’ve asked to eat inside and I asked if I should have ordered at the counter and the waitress told me to go sit and to wait one minute. She happily went back to the counter to deal with deliveries and other costumers at the till, while ignoring us for 15 minutes straight. So we had to stand up and walk out. Your food might be average, but the service is just chaotic. I don’t think you will ever see me again.

When we searched for places to eat, this was one of the few open restaurants at 3 pm, and we really appreciated that. The vegetarian burger was great, 100% recommend.

A cozy and modern place to eat a GREAT bistro hamburger, the service is fast and the waitres very kind, they also are english spoken. I'll come back next time I come to Nice!

The burgers are tasty, the staff is friendly, and the restroom is kept clean. While it's a bit on the pricier side, it's very good!

First of all 25€ for fries, burger and a drink including all taxes and services is an average price. Not sure why some reviews said it is too expensive, honestly go to McDonald's then eat processed food. So the burger was oki, nothing out of this world, beef patty was a bit small, frieds where average. Cheese in the burger was amazing. But it's to be expected, good cheese in France. Service was efficient but you won't get a smile or a bonne appétit. I would go back if I wanted a burger.

Really enjoyed our burgers and fries from Big Fernand! My husband ordered the Bartholomé and I ordered the Belphegor with an IPA. Definitely enjoyed our dining experience!

The service was really nice and helpful. The space was clean, there was good music and the food was great! Would recommend to anybody visiting Nice. They also have a veggie option for vegetarians.

If you're looking for classic burgers, this place isnt for you. These burgers are too heavy, salty and there is no salad inside. Freshness is missing. They tried with the fries, but i don't think this is what they wanted, the fries are neither soft nor crunchy.. The positive hand on the other side is that the produce is of quality, fresh soft bun and good meat. If you like these kind of heavy burgers, this is your spot.

Got the Bartholomew burger which was quite pleasing, and the cheese and bacon fries good as well. Food-wise it's a decent place. Hygiene was bellow standards at least on my visit. Fork had cheese leftovers from previous customers, and tray was also sticky and had bread crumbs.

My family came back here after a 3 year absence due to COVID. We were skeptical that it wouldn’t be the same - but it was even better than we imagined. Exceptional service, burgers and chips - cooked to perfection. Everyone really helpful and friendly and obviously love a good burger. A stream of people coming in to eat or grab a takeaway. This really is a place that cares about burgers and we’ll be back very soon.

My review of this place is pretty much consistent with most review. Service was outstanding from the moment you step in. The wait time is very small and by the time you have ordered the food is served at your table. In all the burger places I have been to this has to be the best bun I’ve tasted. I don’t what it is, but whatever they have done, they have absolutely nailed it. When it comes to the burger as a whole it was good but I wouldn’t be in a rush to go back again soon. It just lacked something, maybe more seasoning could have helped, therefore I couldn’t give it a 5*. Chipss were really good, not too much salt and it wasn’t lacking in potato. Although I wouldn’t be in a rush to go back soon, if you’re in Nicè it’s definitely worth going to

Veal burger!? Bring it on!! I can not recall when dod I ever saw a “veal” burger patty option in any previously visited burger joint, well you have that at Big Fernand. A cozy place that gives the option to construct your own burger (vegetarian option is also available). Delicious paprika/garlic fries, and they also make their own homemade Ketchup. I ordered a veal burger and fries for €16. Maybe some might think it is a bit overpriced, but for the quality of the food I think it is totally worth it. Very friendly staff too. So if you’re ever in Nice town and craving for a burger, you definitely need to try this.

Service was very very good, but we just didnt love the food. It was OK. Fries were good with the paprika seasoning, but the burgers were kind of odd. My wife ordered hers well-done and it came out almost raw in the middle... they give the best wet wipes for your hands when youre done though!

Delicious burgers! The pairing with cheese is amazing. I can't get enough, definitely recommend. Green review: burgers come wrapped in friendly paper. Drinks come in cans or glass. No plastic waste from my visit, even the sauce package were paper based. And has a trash compactor!

Wow were we impressed with the burgers. Customised your burger and meat patty cooked to your liking (medium). 5 different type of cheeses, home made sauces. Will be back. The customer service was spot on and they have an English menu. Super friendly staff.

We've traveled to Paris, Bordeaux and then Nice, having tried multiple Burger places. This place had a great burger, the patty was cooked well, great selection of topping and their local beer was great.
