Really nice restaurant in a vibrant part of old town Nice. Decided to stop here by chance and were very lucky with our choice. Food was very nice, we tried the beef cheeks stew and goats cheese salad style and really enjoyed it. Was a great spot for people watching

Upon entering the restaurant, you immediately notice the dim and uninviting lighting. A waitress, lacking warmth and education, approaches you with an assertive tone, suggesting that if you seek to use the restroom, you must order a meal. Politely, you request to wash your hands first, and your wife and daughter proceed to find a table with a window view. To your surprise, the waitress insists that restroom use is conditional upon ordering food, even though the restaurant is nearly empty. It seems the unwelcoming atmosphere may influence the behavior of its staff. Most likely the food has the same energy. It is worth avoiding the place, which is at people's feet anyway.

Very nice and kind restaurant. After a mistake with my order they corrected it without any hazzle; the service was very kind. The food then was very good. I had a spaghetti pesto which was so nice I totally forgot to take a picture. You'll have to do it with one of all our four empty plates. Would definitely recommend this place.

We stumbled on this restaurant, and are so glad we did. We ordered from the special menu of the day (entree+main+dessert) which was very reasonably priced!! And lots of choice. We had warm goats cheese salad (mouthwatering- done in like puff pastry tarts) octopus salad (good but some pieces were slightly overdone) and for mains we had beef cheek stew with polenta (polenta was fried pieces which were amazing and flavourful and the beef just fell apart 😍) and the ravioli with stew sauce. Really enjoyed this meal!! Good, quick service too, the staff speak English and are friendly. Hubby is awaiting his creme brulee dessert as we speak 😆

We did enjoy a nice lunch at this place. Food was fresh, warm and tasty, beer was cold and refreshing, service was very good and staff were warm and welcoming and all these were at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

Great value for money if you get the set menu: €16.90 for three courses. The salade nicoise was great, beef stew and desserts were ok. House wine was good as was the coffee. Nice outdoor seating area with heaters so warm enough even on a December evening. Polite staff.

We stopped here because the staff smiled at us as we walked by, as we were looking for a place to eat. The tables are perfect under the awnings and the service was friendly and with smiles. We practiced our French as we ordered and the waitress was very kind and patient with us. We had the burger and fries and it was delicious! The food was fresh, tasty and great prices. The place was busy and all of the staff were jovial and attentive. The restrooms very verity neat and large. A great place all around!

To start, the food fits the atmosphere, I often see the opposite in many restaurants and the small menu (not a whole lot of options), which might sound like a bad thing, helps bring it all together in a small, comfy vibe, as a lot of the dishes, I would consider, are comfort foods (Gnocchi in tomato sauce, Ravioli in beef stew, etc..). The service was surprisingly fast, but maybe one or two of the portion sizes were a bit small, but enough to fill me up. I would come again.

Considering the "standard" being offered in the usual restos in Vieille Ville, this place is gold: food quality, value for money, ambience...

A great place with delicious food served at all hours of the day, which is not so common case in Nice. Very kind staff - apart from the creme brûlée that we have ordered, they brought us a piece of some traditional cake that we only asked about. Pleasant experience!

Amazing food and great service. We got the €18.90 menu each. What great value! The entrees were good size. Salad Nicoise and anchovy thin crust pizza for entree. The salad was a full meal size and delicious! We both got the beef cheek stew for mains which were so delicious and again large meal with 4 cheeks, vegies and a potato side speciality. The desserts were panacotta and tiramisu. Both light and delicious. Excellent wines as well. Highly recommend

We had a difficult time with the order since our waiter understood very little English or didn't understood at all. I asked for a medium cooked beef stake and it was cooked medium-rare or even rare in some areas.The plate was saved by the roasted potatoes and the sauce. The seafood risotto was also not their best I suppose. Maybe they just had a difficult night. Later edit: apologies accepted so I've raised the rating from 3 to 4*.

Really nice place for dinner in Old Nice right next to the Cathedral. Good food, nice drinks, excellent atmosphere

Wonderful appetizer in the local style followed by truffle ravioli and ravioli nicoise, accompanied with rosé. Fantastic. @addsomeglamour

The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious! The food is cheap in price for the amount you get. I recommend this place to everyone which is visiting Nice! (We had a steak tartaar and the burger)

Touristy restaurant with a bit slow service. Mussels and savory crepe were ok but nothing special. Drinks and prices ok. Went there bc table was available, no regrets.
