Extraordinary food. All the pastas were yum, the cheese plate is to die for and the tiramisu was one of the best I've ever had - but it could use some more coffee!

I'm a big vegan foodie and came here because of the good reviews. Place is nice and service is good, the reason I put 3 stars is food quality and sizes. We had a cheese platter which cost 13.5€ and came with 3 super small cheese pieces. The flavour was just ok. The excuse was that it was only for one person and that vegan cheeses are expensive (actually not, I've costed cashew aged cheeses while working as a vegan chef in a restaurant, and compared it to artisanal cow cheeses, cost is not more). Also we saw on other photos that two pieces of each cheese where served. We wanted to share the cheese platter, but couldn't bc of the size (photo). The mains (melanzane and calamari pasta) tasted good, but at those prices (about 17€, for pasta and cherry tomatoes) I'm expecting more fine flavours and and overall better quality and ingredients (I mean, it felt like simple home cooking). Overall we liked the restaurant, but would never go back, and that's what makes a good restaurant in my opinion. Thanks for the service.

Can't compliment this place enough. Outstanding service, food was perfect, lovely ambient. Recommend the aubergine caviar (exclusive to this month of September, I believe) and the fig & vanilla cheesecake. Finger-licking delicious :)

This was the best carbonara I've ever had! My favorite restaurant we went to in Paris, and my wife's 2nd favorite. I also strongly recommend the vegan cheesecake, of which they have 3 different flavors.

Best vegan restaurant in Nice! Came two times during our stay in Nice, the food was consistently delicious and the waitresses were all very friendly. Had their cheesecake as well, but had devoured it before i thought to take a picture of it. Highly recommend.

Exceptional Italian/Vegan Resteraunt Booked a table for myself in a group of 8 (only 2 of us being vegan). Seating was nice and spacious and could have fit up to 10 of us. The menu had quite a large variety of options Including Pizzas, pastas and burgers as well as more unique dishes which seemed to change seasonally. Between a friend and my Girlfriend and I we shared the Gnocchi, Pasta carbonara and aubergine pizza with ricotta stuffed cheese (unfortunately forgot to take a photo). Starting with the Carbonara it was possibly the best pasta I’ve been served in a Resteraunt. Bite was perfect, great amount of sauce with a lovely consistency and the tofu was lovely and firm giving a meaty texture to the dish. Secondly the pizza had a lovely dough and really nice cheeses with my best part of the meal being dipping the ricotta stuffed crusts into some garlic and chilli oil. My only criticism of the pizza is the main cheese was described as a mozzarella where we all agreed it tasted more similar to a cream cheese. Finally the Gnocchi. It was cooked well and had a lovely tomatoey sauce however generally I found it the most forgettable dish. Myself and my friend also had corn fritters for a starter which were not what we expected as there was nothing frittery about them but it was a lovely dish nonetheless. We also shared a peanut butter and vanilla cheesecake which was lovely, light and also a reasonable enough portion to share for 2 people. Finally the wine we ordered (Italian red option) was a lovely accompaniment to the meal. Overall Utopia was well regarded amongst our group as one of if not the best Resteraunt we went to during our week long trip in Nice and is definitely worth a visit whether you are vegan or not. I’d recommend to book in advance as our initial day we wanted to go was fully booked. The only area of improvement I would suggest is the attentiveness of waiters as it did take a while to initially order and there was a point that a friend was waiting quite a while to be able to order a 2nd drink but even in spite of this Utopia definitely receives 5 stars.

Each and every time I visit Utopia I am surprised by the quality and variation of their vegan Italian menu. The monthly changing section in the menu means I can discover something new and have a wide choice. The desserts are always a highlight for me.

One of the best Vegan restaurant in town! Staff are friendly and attentive, service was good. We ordered their "Carbonara pasta" which was very creamy yet not greasy. "Saltinsausage" that cames with fried potatoes which were a bit too salty but overall still very good. And the vegan Tiramisu for dessert😋. All food are very delicious and fulfilling! It's a much try in Nice! I will definitely come back again.

Everything was absolutely delicious! Our server was kind and the food was beautifully plated, balanced, and oh so tasty. Best dinner of our trip to France. Anyone can enjoy a meal here- vegan or not!

What a nice surpise to find this fabulous Italian Vegan Restaurant in Nice! We shared 3 entrees. All with vegan cheese! Very tastefull. The second plate was also very tastefull. I choose the burata! Mmm i would fly to Nice just to dine here again A totale VEGAN place!

They have the best vegan carbonara, I really need the recipe 😩 For foreigners it can get quite pricey, but I think that this restaurant is at a normal price range for nice. I like the ambiance in there and the service was really good as well.

A fully plant-based restaurant with an extensive selection of Italian cuisine - from pasta to pizza to tiramisu, there's virtually nothing you can't find here. It was so impressive that I came here twice during my stay in Nice to try more dishes. The cheese plate is not to be missed, it was my favourite dish by far! The pizza and the burger were also faves. The portions were sizeable so you won't go hungry. I would probably recommend these over the multi-course menu. We tried the gnocci, a pasta dish with mushrooms and the baked artichoke but overall we didn't like these as much. The ceviche was amazing though. Overall, most dishes we found a little overseasoned. E.g. the pizza had too much tomato sauce on it. I also had a delicious cocktail but I'm still not sure if it had any alcohol in it... and finally, the vibe. Unfortunately there is no outdoor seating (or at least not when I was there), and it's a very popular restaurant so indoors gets quite loud and crammed. That said, it's also worth booking in advance to make sure you get a table!

This is a very special place. Utopic big portions of both food and smiles. Home made vegan cheese products which tastes and looks like the ‘originals’ also for pizzas. Tip: try the cheese starter and you will understand. This is vegan food for both vegans and non-vegans!

Quite a large restaurant with plenty of indoor seating. I hadn’t booked but they were able to fit me in. I received a lovely warm welcome from the staff and they couldn’t have been more helpful. It’s a huge menu, so many different options. I understand they make nearly everything in house, including the mozzarella cheese. I had a pizza (chick’n and sweet potato). It was absolutely huge! The base and the mozzarella were absolutely perfect, but there was way too much topping and the chick’n was very hard and dry. The staff noticed I’d left a lot of the chick’n and asked for genuine feedback, they had been trying a new product and wanted customers views. I think it says a lot when businesses really seem interested in listening to customer feedback. I was lucky enough to get the last crème brûlée and I’m still dreaming about it now! Wish I could’ve returned again during my stay in Nice to try some of the other menu choices.

The food was THE BEST vegan italian food we had never eaten. We had to try everything and it was like a heaven. Don’t skip the dessert, it was delicious as well. But we didn’t like our waitress at all. He was way too flirtatious (and we were young women, just trying to enjoy our food). we though his behavior was distressing and unprofessional.

One of the best meals we had in France. Seriously the pizza alone was so amazing. We made a last minute reservation and could not be more pleased with the service and food. Do not miss this place when in Nice

As vegans, finding a restaurant that serves any vegan food is quite hard, so to find one that serves just vegan is a rare find indeed...and particularly one that produces such great food is rarer still. Utopia is just a short walk across from the end of Nice's old town and it's modern, clean interior is very welcoming. We went to Utopia on a Saturday night and it was quite busy, but the service was good and the food arrived quickly. There were 6 of us and two of us are vegan, the other 4 happy to try vegan food. All 4 were very happy with their choices and cleared their plates (vegan pastas and vegan burgers) We had the Stella which we both enjoyed and the portion sizes were very generous. We are definitely returning this week before we head home and will also return on our future trips.

My wife and I had a great meal here. We are not vegans but the food was incredible. Service was brilliant, can't fault it. Also personal preference but it was so nice to eat without breathing in other people's second hand cigarette smoke, in a lovely air con restaurant which we have struggled with in this city 👌👌

Best vegan pizza I have ever had. Fresh homemade vegan cheese was delicious. We came back twice. Highly recommend to any vegan/vegetarian but also anyone willing to be positively surprised by cheese alternatives. Not vegan myself but hands-down in my top pizzas of all time.

They sat us right away even though we didn’t have a reservation. The ambience was very nice, the music was not too loud. The service staff was fantastic and accommodating. But the food, THE FOOD! We got the rustic potato entreé (appetizer)- deliciously seasoned with yummy sauces. Then the carbonara with smoked tofu and a pizza with button mushrooms and beyond sausage. The food was so rich and delicious, we were in heaven. We finished it off with a chocolate orange cheesecake that was more like a ganache- rich, moist, delightful. Highly recommend getting there early as it gets busy very quickly.

OMG this. was. the. most. delicious. vegan. carbonara. EVER. I loved this restaurant. My sister and I didn't have a reservation, but they were very nice to squeeze us in before the next arrival. I really enjoyed trying the 3 vegan cheeses and my sister enjoyed the bruschetta but the stand out for me was definitely the vegan carbonara - it was so creamy and tasted similar to bacon. We have been to a lot of places in France (Paris, Strasbourg, Lyon, Annecy, Charmonix) and this meal has been one of my favourites ♥

This was a wonderful dining experience! My husband and I both ordered different appetizers, different first plates, and different desserts. We shared and each thing we order was delicious! Some of the best vegan food I’ve had, and the pasta was to die for. The wait staff were friendly and efficient, even though the restaurant was quite busy!
