I had Cappuccino, margarita pizza and cesar salad . I’m not sure how can I describe how bad was the pizza. I added a picture to show you how it look like and there is no taste. Coffee was too hot, nothing similar taste as cappuccino. Cesar salad had chicken in and that was over cooked, dry. There are plenty of nice restaurants in Old town nice. We had a mistake to sit down before we checked the reviews. Menu is cheaper than other places but you might prefer to eat ready meal from the market rather than eat in here

Friendly but quick waiters, unpleasant and cold looking food, reheated potatoes, after trying to choose different dishes, half of the menu is missing or finished, even though it's lunchtime.

Touristy? Of course - but not in a horrific way some of the other reviewers provide. The Menu A was 18,90 euros (at least for lunch). We enjoyed the Niçoise salad, steak frites (small slice of beef but good portion for the price) and 2 scoops of some of the best ice cream ever at a restaurant. The wait staff were more than friendly and more attentive than most French restaurants I go to both while touring and living in Europe. I would definitely come again and perhaps order the same meal to avoid any other experience, but I think it’s good for the price and amazing atmosphere on the place which feels more like Italy than France.

This place is the epitome of a tourist trap. The food wasn’t just alright, it was terrible - the closest approximate would be airplane food. We ordered the set menu with sea bass filet, which tasted like a small slab of frozen fish, and the nicoise with gnocchi which was way too salty. The waitress asked if we wanted water, which we assumed was complimentary, and she brought us Evian instead and it was too late to return. The apple cake dessert was overly sweet. Really bad experience and would strongly recommend to avoid.

Nice to sit at the fountain with a view on the church, average food, a lot of options. Desserts were good, the steak below average.

Everything we ordered was really yummy. It’s more of a local place, not super fancy. Service was really good, prices very reasonable and in one of the most beautiful settings in old town. If you’re looking for something more traditional, there are many options on the menu too.

Went to grab a glass of champagne before getting gelato and they refused to seat me because I was only having drinks. Keep in mind this is a Tuesday evening, there are servers standing around and ample tables and me having 2 glasses of champagne would be more than a single person having pasta. Won’t be back here to eat based on this. There are plenty of other tourist traps that would be glad to take my money.

Ordered the offer menu for the dinner which was 20 EUR including salad, main dish and dessert. You can choose type of food you want. Nice salad with tuna(local salad) was good and fresh. The main dish i.e. beef steak with fries was not really tasty and at first it was served cold. The fries’ taste was not fresh. The dessert was not tasty too. The beer is not advisable. It tastes more like water and not really as normal beer. The wine was also cheap type of wine and the taste was not really good. The atmosphere and service was quite good. The waiter was very friendly and helpful.

Pizza was good, your chefs are doing a decent job, but your gipsy waiter had bad manners, rude comments and touched our stuff without our permission. Avoid this tourist trap.

This one star is for good carbonara but restaurant experience was below poor. Waiter rude, they did not even bother to tell us that half of the menu is not available. Generally I felt like I am not welcomed in the restaurant so do not make my mistake and just find another place which is not that hard tbh

Should have read the reviews before we sat down. The pizza's were not that great, you definitely should not expect a great meal. The waiter was a little bit cold from the beginning, but when the food came we were a little bit disappointed. The paprika looked and tasted like frozen paprika from a supermarket and had a little sour taste. We learned from this, next time I will read the reviews before we sit down.

The starter was good, at least half of it. The main course was horrible and could have been cooked by a five year old. The pizza isn't worth being called pizza. Especially with the closeness to Italy and the good italian food you'll get in other places in Nice. Desert wasn't good either and has most likely spent loads of time in the freezer. Try to avoid at all cost

The food was quite good but the waiter was so rude and grumpy. There was the other waiter (young one) who always say’s sorry for the rude waiter. The atmosphere was nice.

Not recommend! The best part of this plase is a view - the restaurant is placed in front of fountaint and Cathedrale. But the rest is awful. The service is poor. The food tasted really bad. I couldn`t eat my order. I left and went to another place to eat.

Ordered Mediterranean pizza (squid, shrips, mules). It was fresh, warm and tasty. ☺️ Complemented with a heavy Irish coffee that felt like it was 50/50 coffee and whiskey 😎

Awful service. Food was good. Atmosphere was pleasant until staff made a conscious effort to brush off our every attempt to get service. About 15 minutes of eating. 2 hours of sitting around, *despite significant efforts to get service.

My partner and I shared the La Claire Fontaine pizza. Was very good tasting and light. Deserts were nice and service was very prompt. Waiters could be a bit friendlier but were accommodating. Overall a good experience - would go again.

Waited over an hour for our food. The waiter asked us if we are sure we hadn’t eaten!🫤 When we said no he said impossible. The carbonara was tasty but the portion was tiny and the steak was like leather although great pepper sauce. No check ups on the meal and no explanation and when we said our thoughts they didn’t really care. A bit to much of a tourist trap.

Very unpleasant customer service, we ordered pizza and seafood risotto, the food was quite tasty, but the waiter who served us was very unfriendly. He practically did not talk to us, when we settled he simply did not say a word. I have a strange feeling after visiting this restaurant. The other waiters seemed more friendly. But if you want to spend a good evening, it is better to choose another place.

Where do I begin... Waiting times to be seated as there are too few waiters to handle everything (though they are very friendly). We waited around 20min. The food is.. okay I guess? I got the menu and I wouldn't do it again. The plates are incredibly small and the appetizers were terrible. The food was good but nothing special and I got around 50gr of Rice with sauce that had a bit of fish in it. Not what I expected when ordering fish.. Looking at the other tables suggested that ordering a normal dish rather than a menu is well more worth it and cheaper so I'd recommend doing that. That being said the restaurant doesn't serve high quality food so you might aswell just look for a different one.

Best pizza I’ve ever had! Beautiful restaurant in the heart of vielle ville de Nice! The service is quite distanced but that’s okay at least the service is fast.

Foods and services were amazing. I took Steak tartare and Salade nicoise gere, they were all fine. The staffs use informal language with customers but they just try to be friendly, for me, I'm ok with that.

We've eaten here more than once, just because the setting in front of the cathedral is so attractive. The food is nothing to write home about, but it's perfectly ok. Service can be a bit chaotic, but is generally friendly. Set your expectations for the fact it's a tourist restaurant, and enjoy a bit of people watching :-)
