We stayed here for 5 nights and absolutely loved every minute of it! Highlights are the views of the sea from the room (5th floor panoramic is worth it to upgrade to), the breakfast (they will deliver it to your room if you ask), and the lovely staff members. Jessica at the front desk was always a pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The cleaning staff also did a very thorough job and were very nice. The location is literally perfect for Nice and we enjoyed coming home here at the end of our days. Beds are super comfortable, the rooms were spacious enough for 2 of us and we really enjoyed the details (bathrobes, slippers, conditioner, body milk, high quality soap). Our only complaint is that the elevator is literally tiny we could barely fit two of us in there with carry on bags - a family would need to go up to their room in pairs lol. Overall we are super impressed and we would stay here again.

Beyond impressed~ The employees were extremely kind and helpful. Not speaking much French wasn't an issue thankfully. I would recommend to any of my french or non french speaking family and friends.

The view from the room is the only plus. Room view greatly marred by street lamps that shine so blindly into the room making it difficult to enjoy the view. Thankfully the blackout curtains managed to screen off the blinding street lights at night allowing some restful sleep. Rooms are quite sound proof so once doors are closed there is peace and quite. Poor service seems to be the issue as on first night we had no shower soap replenished. Only after complaining did we get the basic stuff. On the second day the room was totally not cleaned nor made up! It’s the first time I had such poor service from a hotel! 4 stars for view only - but the service there as far as housekeeping Is concerned totally sucks! I Will think twice about coming back here again.

Very nice hotel. The hotel is located close to the old town in Nice. Very good location central of Nice. Rooms have good space, clean, neat. The stuff is friendly and professional. The sea view is spectacular 😉. Definitely do recommend this hotel to stay at of course its pricy but worth it👌. Will always come back😊

We spend new year eve there, booked from online website (agoda) with a very good price which make it a very good cost/quality deal. To make it short and simple, location is the most perfect you can get as a couple. Everything close by, ballad, restaurant, bar, beach... The room are great but we would have prefer higher floor to feel less viewed by the people and to get a better view (1st floor...) The bathroom tiles need refreshment its moving under your feet, its lacking toothpaste and conditionner. The cleaningness was not 4star, we found peanuts and hairs on the floor on our arrival. Service is on point and at the level of a 4star. Breakfast really good we enjoyed it a lot. I do recommend but management needs to continue to improve it

Hotel is not equipped with everything (elevator is tiny), interior is very underwhelming and service was not great…rooms are also overpriced. 2/5

Overall, the rooms are small and the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. The breakfast room has a nice view, but thought the breakfast was overpriced compared to other hotels. We paid extra for a premium sea view room and were first given a room with a view of a tree (how they think this is a sea view is unclear). This room had a terrible shower and it was impossible not to soak the entire bathroom due to missing grout/seals and a nearly useless plexiglass shield. For our second night, we requested a room with an actual view and got one. This bathroom was somewhat better--still impossible to keep to keep the floor dry, but at least it wasn't completely covered in water. Both bathrooms had mildew problems and the accompanying weird smells, as you might imagine when the shower water doesn't stay in the shower. I'm not sure what the aversion to a shower curtain is, but it would help. This hotel has nice views, but there are a lot of hotels with that in Nice. For the price, I'd guess that you can do better. I really don't understand the rave reviews, especially when the shower experience is so terrible. For the price it should be a lot better. And we stayed in the off season when prices were lower. I wasn't as excited as the other reviewers about the location. It is near Old Town, which is nice, but a bit far from other things and not all that convenient to the tram.

Fantastic stay and enjoyed our 4 nights away. Person on reception was excellent checking us in and out. The view from the room was amazing. Will definitely be back.

The only place to stay if in Nice. The view is spectacular - I see them in my favorite dreams. You are in prime location in Nice - combined with the Fouilles Archaelogiques, the beach and Old Nice. I would take a night in on the porch; a bottle of wine, some pizza or Socca from local places and enjoy the sunset. Next, the Fouilles Archaelogiques - watch the sunset with your favorite person. Last night, Old Town Nice - get lost in it. The culture, the food, the spritz's. It will be trip to remember!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Suisse we would visit again and recommend to friends and family. We particularly enjoyed having a complimentary Nespresso machine and pods in our room. There were one or two minor things related solely to personal preferences and certainly not worth mentioning.

OMG! This location was phenomenal! And put balcony room facing the water was priceless. While a bit old and dated, the location made up for it in spades. We anchored here for 8 days or so and it was absolutely perfect.

Location perfect. View perfect. Service excellent in all regards. Rooms are small but well kept and view makes up for anything not ideal

The hotel is neglected, only the most necessary things are done. A single woman takes care of the breakfast consisting of packed things (prefer McDonalds 100m away). The air conditioning didn't work at times, the cleaning of the room was poor, some light bulbs in the bathroom didn't work. So sad everything

Views over the coast are superb. Excellent location and a pleasant quiet environment. Rooms are of ample size and staff is helpful and courteous always. Recommend this hotel especially if you like old world charm.

Absolutely magical view overlooking the entire seafront (I think perhaps all rooms have a sea view?). Rooms are not huge but not small, wifi is good, staff are friendly. I recommend paying a bit extra for a balcony and eating breakfast out there.. it might be the best way I've ever started a day.

Loved our stay at Hotel Suisse in Nice. Can’t beat the location, walked all over the town from there.

Let's face it: you are paying for the location and the view. The services are ok, but not exceptional. But the view from the balconies is hard to beat.

Not a luxury hotel. You pay for the superb location, but aside from that, this hotel is average at best. Very basic hotel bathroom, chipped paint, and scuffs on all the walls. The headboard was held onto the wall with a few flimsy screws and fell on our second night. No outlets in the rooms to charge your devices (it’s 2022, not 1998). The breakfast was not worth the charge. With all that said, you can't beat the location so take that how you will.

Extremely small rooms, especially as we stayed at Hotel Martinez in Cannes for the same price the night before. Kinda that European weird bathroom smell in the room. Hardly any room to lay a suitcase and can barely walk around the bed. Not worth a photo or the price (even if it is historical) Good location especially for younger crowd as easy to walk to many spots. Beaches are rock tho.

Superb location, 2 minutes to the beach and to the old town. The sea view is mesmerizing and the staff is very professional. Room is very exceptionally clean and fresh. Some things to improve: Breakfasts are overpriced, they could offer beach towels and they should install more powerful hairdryer. The rest was excellent, thank you!

The location in Old Nice is right by the beach with beautiful views of Nice, the beach and sea. We stayed on the fourth floor and I imagine you'd get great views from all floors, especially two and up. Staff were very friendly and professional, adding to the experience. I don't think any other hotel can beat it for location and views. Absolutely love it.

Spent 3 glorious nights here. Reception staff very welcoming and professional. Room was jaw dropping. Stayed in a privileged room on 5th floor. Mini bar, free tea and coffee, toiletries and slippers provided. Veiw to die for. Large comfy bed. Covid-19 safety measures in place. 10/10.

Charlotte, at the front desk is awfully rude and disgustingly racially discriminated against me. I will not be booking with this hotel upon my experience with her. She is an awful representation for the hotel.

One of the best located hotel, you can see the complete Promenade des Anglais. The hotel was clear and confortable, the staff could be a little more intimately.
