👍👍 A pretty good lunch spot, relatively quiet area but good to people watch. The food came fast and was tasty. I went for a club sandwich with frites and a cola. Unfortunately the bread was alittle too toasted as you can see but it was okay. Nice place to visit. People often mention good, service, Nice,

Nice is a wonderful town, and people is very nice, however, the service here has been terrible, we request a table with a shadow, and some drinks, then the server requested us to move to a different table in a very rude mood.

The outdoor seating is perfect for people watching and the espresso martinis are delicious! I feel like I’m in Emily in Paris!!

The location was convenient, however I would likely not come back again. The food was way overpriced for what you got. It appears to cater to tourists in terms of options, and price. The sides of fries and salad seemed to be standard for all dishes, and the mains were not memorable.

This restaurant was good, but I felt it was lacking a little bit considering their prices. I was disappointed they didn't have the cordon Bleu dish on the menu that I ordered. My second option was a pasta and it was ok. My wife had the lamb and she loved it. The service was really good however and our server went above and beyond.

Great dining experience! My husband had the teriyaki salmon and I had the black truffle linguine, both were delicious! The waiters were kind and very helpful. The manager/owners English was fabulous and made ordering very easy.

The place is lovely, but the staff are atrociously rude. The lady with red hair ignored us completely on three occasions. The staff literally look at the floor walking around so you can’t get their attention. Service is extremely slow. Coffee and food is great!

Went for breakfast.. had the eggs Benedict with salmon which comes on a croissant... My wife had the set breakfast with scrambled eggs and toast, orange juice etc.. Good to get an egg breakfast so will come again.

Terrible service and bad manners. The waiter was awful and made us move to another table mid-coffee because the restaurant was about to serve lunch. She moved us to a table that literally had a tree on top of it. Go to the place in front if you can. The coffee is not good enough for the bad treatment you’ll likely receive.

Last night in Nice and I needed to eat. Thought I would give this place a try as it was close to my hotel. It's one of those venues where you hang around spare before anyone offers you a seat and take their time to bring you a menu etc, all a bit frustrating. Decided to have the burger as that is difficult to mess up, was nicely done, chips overcooked. What really lets this place down are the staff, it was busy and they looked understaffed. I would say a bit rude.

Five stars for food and service but for me the cigarette smoke was awful. I was there around 5:30 and a younger crowd was drinking and smoking which isn't the restaurants fault since eating on the patio is open. I ordered the Calamari and couscous which was a very large portion that could be shared. The wine list by the glass is small.

Divine caipiriha! We tried various places and this is the place that has the most affordable delicious caipiriha! €7! 💃🏽🇫🇷

I am impressed how somebody can cook such awful food.

Location is quite central but for a plate with 5 different cheeses, 2 avocado toasts and 2 glasses of red wine 60€. I think is a bit too much

Nice location on a little square. Appalling service from an impatient and rude waiter. Eggs Benedict came on a croissant and was cold, with an egg that was over-done, not runny. Felt like a tourist trap: should have known from the dodgy name !

Nice atmosphere, very busy on a Saturday evening.

Delicious croque monsieur and nice ambiance. Service wasn’t the greatest - seemed as though there was one waitress taking care of everything so she was super stressed and hard to get a hold of for more than 5 secs at a time. Nonetheless, would def return for a brunch or tea.

Very limited breakfast menu of scrambled eggs, bread, jam, coffee or tea. Though simple, very tasty and a great spot to watch people go by.

5 euros for a latte that was barely warm and not creamy at all, waiter ignoring us, we asked for water next to the latte, never got it. place definitely overrated - it is always so crowded only because of the location

Pasta meal was great. Grilled steak was tough even though cooked medium rare. Under staffed so service was slow but our waitress was good.

A small brasserie in Nice where we left disappointed before going to the Festival de Nice. The prices are high for what you get, but the serving and location are top notch. I had the club sandwich and, even though I paid 15€ for it, it didn't come with fries. This is almost a crime for the Club sandwich as everyone knows it contains fries as a side. The salad I received was also disappointing: 2, max 3 leaves and 2 cherry tomatoes.

One of the best Cafes in the area with good quality food and great service. Coffee drinks and croissants were excellent. Breakfast options and eggs were fresh and delicious. Many other places in the area are touristic and low quality, La Liberte was an exception. Highly recommend.

Sat outside for 20mins and never got served. I made eye contact with so many waiters and they nodded and smiled but never came over. Place looked really nice and I was really looking forward to a drink here. We just got up and left in the end 😞
