This place is very special. I was in Nice in February and we stumbled across it and were just blown away. I returned for lunch today (June) and it was equally as impressive. Lovely atmosphere, outdoor seating on a bustling side street in the old town to watch the world go by. The food is excellent quality and very creative...ideal for foodies, you'll love the unexpected combinations. Definitely put it on your list!

Stunning place. Le Tire Bouchon is definitely my favourite restaurant in Nice. This place never disappoints. I think that every time when I visit this marvelous restaurant it gets better and better. I was dining there a few nights ago and I was absolutely amazed again. They often update their menu and their dishes are always outstanding. This time had the Perfect Summer Egg with Creamy Yuzu, Dried Tomato Crumble and Radish Broth. This starter was incredible. The main was Half Cooked Tuna in Panko Breadcrumbs with Coconut Gel, Peanut Chilli and Spring Onion Vinaigrette and Creamy Vinelotte Potatoes wirt Lime. This dish was beyond outstanding. My desert was Passion Fruit Mousse with Crumble and Sorbet and Flamed Passion Fruit Seeds with Rum. This restaurant is a gem of Nice’s Old Town and is simply a must.

Amazing experience at Le Tire Bouchon! Loved the menu organization where they have vegetarian, meat, and fish dishes in appetizer or entree portion. Very unique. As previous servers in the industry, we know good food when we taste it and the talented young chef here is someone to look out for. The flavours and seasoning in every dish were absolutely spot-on. Our only suggestion would be to refine some of the presentations - but the food was so good, it didn't matter. Our service and atmosphere was great too. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved the food and the service! Busy little restaurant that was constantly on the move (and were turning away people - what a shame!). The food was an absolute revelation. France is known for its good food and this was definitely in our top 3 this trip. Kudos to the chef for all the fantastic flavours we were thrilled to try!! Tip - order the degustation menu - it’s more value for money as you get to try more of the menu! The waiters constantly kept asking us if we needed anything else and were warm and friendly. Definitely coming back here next time we are ever in Nice. Thank you for having us!

30 Euro will be needed as deposit for the reservation… A little bit complicated for a dinner booking. The food was yummy and the service is fine for the price. Together we paid 103 Euro for a dinner with 3 courses and soft drinks. It was a nice experience for the tongue :)

We found this restaurant by just walking by on Monday after visiting the flea market. It was such a great experience! We went for the weekday lunch offering, and it was not only a very good deal, but also a nice culinary experience. We loved the concept of the choice btw starter or main in size and also the many possible combinations. Our choice was the 1 starter +1 main. The waiters were welcoming and easygoing. They had no problem with us not drinking wine. Our waitress was very efficient and also kind. The food was delicious and good in portion, too. We would love to be back when we are next time in Nice. New menu is amazing! Had the egg and Ravioli black mushroom starters presented like art.. choose starter size for mains too.. chicken and beef… great service!

Good price for their food. They had a prix fix where you were able to try the diff dishes on menu. Our table ordered the whole Menu and shared. Food was cooked well and presentation was great. Wait staff was very busy though - as the restaurant can get full quickly during service time. Totally recommend trying this place out.

Didn’t expect to get such great food here in the heart of Nice! Young and talented chef, very creative dishes well put together, amazingly delicious. Beef is tender, soft and well presented. Chicken pairs very well with the sauce! Egg is amazing, and a must-try! All dishes are insta worthy! Staff are all bright as sunshine!

I was sent here on a friends reccomendation, and I didn't make a reservation so I had to wait quite a bit for a table, but I was so happy I opted to wait. This was the first restaurant of my stay in Nice and it helped start my trip on a high note. All of the dishes were amazing and had great flavor, I choose the tasting menu which was a lot for a very good price. My favorite the perfect egg, ohh so good and the passion fruit dessert which was not overly sweet, which was great because I am not really a dessert person. But all the courses I throughly enjoyed. And I was full in the end. The fish with coconut sauce and crispy rice also a favorite. I liked this tasting because you got to choose which dishes you wanted to try versus just chef's choice. The staff was friendly, spoke to me in mostly French and some English but it was good because I could practice my French even if they couldn't understand me well.

Just had a most enjoyable evening at this restaurant. We opted for the Market Menu at €42 and were delighted with the quality of the food. We had a bottle of Provence rosé which was good value and complemented the food. Our table was outside which added to the whole experience. All of the staff were excellent and made sure we had a meal to remember. Highly recommended.

The egg, asparagus and fish dishes were a delight! The staff is friendly and helpful. The desserts were too sweet for our taste, but enjoyable :)

Stumbled upon this place for our second dinner of the night and immediately regretted not coming for our first dinner. This was amazing small plates with delicate flavors and the perfect portions. We will be back soon.

This was a fabulous experience. The food is was delicious and thought through without being overly pretentious. The restaurant is a good place for vegetarians as there are several scrumptious dishes you can enjoy. There are a couple of menu options at the price of €40 which allows you to have all three vegetarian starters + desert. Alternatively, you can have a vegetarian starter + vegetarian main + desert. Beetroot cream and The Perfect Egg were my favourites. The lemon desert was beautiful, zesty, not overly sweet which usually happens with lemon deserts, light and beautiful. The service was excellent!

In Nice for a while, the food here is exceptional! I love the fact that you can have a choice of every dish, be it starter size or main, this way, there is no missing out! Highly recommended! Excellent value too!

Absolutely stunning food. I had endive starter which was amazing followed by tuna. Delicious. My husband had best egg starter which was unusual but delicious and beef for mains. The interesting thing about this restaurant is that all the dishes can be ordered as either mains or starters. Interesting and innovative menu.

The food here is fabulous and very reasonably priced with excellent service. Have been travelling in France for 4 week and this is the best meal to date
