We tested it today, warm welcome from the boss and employee, without fuss! As soon as we choose our dishes and starters, as soon as they are served!! Lasagna: delicious!! Pissaladière: the real one!! We were referred by our friend Mika (owner of the Truc wine bar ;), who told us: if you want to eat typically Nice, at a small restaurant with super nice people, you have to go to Receta de Jou!! With great pleasure we went there with our new friends from Nice Mumu and Gé :) We ate excellent Bagnan bread and Soca. That was delicious!! We will definitely return to taste the other dishes which are all made with love. We had a great time with the gang, Marco, his mom, Greg, and friends. It was very cool!! Looking forward to coming back to see you :) xx

A favorite. Typical atmosphere facing the market. Super friendly boss who advises you and puts together a quick meal full of flavor. For €12.50 I ate the socca, 4 stuffed ones and 1 pissaladière. I loved ! Thank you for this great memory and great introduction to Nice as you leave the station

This is the place to eat real cuisine niçoise. I had Sunday lunch almost every week during more than 2 years I lived in Nice. Now, every time I come back, I do it as well. Do not lose time in those tourist traps, so called famous restaurant downtown if you want to eat real local food. This is your address.

Tiny place with stunning and affordable Nicoise food! We picked up a bunch of things without even exactly knowing what we’re ordering, and it turned out to be one of our favourite meals in Nice! The “Farci” was a discovery, one that we loved! The Champignon farci, or the stuffed mushroom, was my favourite. The meat and onions stuffing was perfect with the mushroom! Highly recommended, after a visit to the Liberation farmers market :)

Au cœur du marché de la Liberation. Cuisine nissarde. Calamars farcis, capoun, socca, farcis... Tout y est et frais.

Un moment inoubliable! La socca, les champignons farcis, les pissaladières, el l'hamburger au polenta étaient succulents! Le dessert aussi, mais on était repues!! Belle découverte pour la bière zytha bio et aux pois-chiches. Merci!!

Super endroit où la socca est une tuerie et le pan bagna gargantuesque à commander la veille. Le patron est typiquement typique nissart. Très bon produit avec le sourire de l'équipe. Plats à emporter exquis. Le tian de courge excellent.

Sympa, pour déjeuner sur le pouce en plein marché, dans des assiettes en carton. Bière niçoise.

Pour une bonne ambiance et une bonne cuisine niçoise sortant des attrapes touristes, venez. Nous avons très bien mangé les classiques de la cuisine niçoise.
