Great views, don’t miss out if your are in Monaco. There are 2 grand view spots, try visit both. Walking around alleys and spots could Take up to a maximum of 20-25’ walk. I would suggest any of the cafeterias there though as they are expensive and very touristy. Don’t expect WiFi to any of the places there too.

Monaco was a great experience. Such a small country. But so rich. But let me be very true, it's not that tourist friendly. Better to go to Monaco via a tour.

I expected the palace to be really beautiful because it belongs to a prince from the world's most expensive country, Monaco. However, I was disappointed because the architecture is very plain and not fancy. But if you walk around to different viewpoints, you can still enjoy beautiful views from here.

Beautiful mansion with gates dating to XIII CE, and a souvenir shop at the top. There's a display of old canons and a gandarmier walking in front of the Palace - nice view. And the scenery of the city from this point is very picteresque and simply amazing.

Its located on the top hill which gives a panoramic view over the port of monte-Carlo. Its a palace of Italian design and build in 1191. The palace is the official resident of the monarch of Monaco.

Majestic Marvel in Monaco ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visiting the Monaco Royal Palace was like stepping into a fairytale. The historical grandeur and breathtaking architecture left me utterly spellbound. As a 15-year-old, I found this experience both awe-inspiring and educational. The moment I walked through the gates, I was transported back in time. The rich history of the palace unfolded before my eyes, each room revealing a new chapter of Monaco's regal past. The attention to detail in the design and furnishings showcased the opulence and taste of generations past. The view from the palace grounds was nothing short of breathtaking. Overlooking the azure waters of the Mediterranean, the panoramic vista was like a masterpiece painted by nature itself. It was a sight that truly captured the essence of Monaco's beauty. What impressed me even more was the preservation of tradition within the palace. Witnessing the Changing of the Guard ceremony was a testament to Monaco's respect for its heritage and the dedication of its people. In conclusion, the Monaco Royal Palace is a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts, architecture aficionados, and anyone seeking an unforgettable experience. This visit has ignited my passion for exploring the world's wonders, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have immersed myself in Monaco's royal history. Christian

Situated on top, which gives a panoramic breathtaking view of the port and a recommended spot for instagramable shots. Just a few steps around, you will find souvenir shops and a variety of restaurants. A great experience to visit.

A pretty palace that can partly be visited. You can see the courtyard, the state rooms, an appartment and some paintings from the royal collection. It is fun to see how different times and art styles left their mark on architecture and interior design. There is an audiotour available in several languages.

Just beautiful granted you can't go inside of the Palace, but the surrounding areas are very interesting. The city is just beautiful.

I didn't know about this castle until I got here and did the Formula 1 tour. Saw this perched on the top of the mountain, we climbed the stairs and got the to the top. Amazing view of the city and surrounding area. You can do take a tour here and there are tons of shops/restaurants at the top. If I had more time I would have went inside, lots of things to do around here, nice view point.

This is the place to watch the changing of the guard and beautiful ocean view! You can purchase tickets (€18) to tour the inside of the palace! Which we didn’t go due to the time restrictions! Beautiful view and full of the tourists! It also getting very hot during the summer months.

Worth a visit. The little village area is really cute, the gardens are lovely & then you get to the palace. You could probably spend 4 hours, esp if you were lucky enough to see the cars too (we didn’t have time). We spent about an hour & felt good about what we saw.

This place is a short walk from Monaco train station, and when reaching the top, you will get a panoramic view of the city below, great for pictures. However, beside of that, there is little to do on the Prince Palace of Monaco, and when I got on the top, it was so windy so remember to bring scarfs or warm clothes there

It's eye opening to see the Palace and the furnishings are beautiful. What I found most interesting though, was the restoration works that are ongoing what has been done, how it was done and what they are doing. I wasn't as interested in knowing what painting was gifted by whom to what member of the family on a specific occasion, but I did appreciate some of the other history in the very easy to use and clear audio guide included with the entry.

2022.09.07 The Prince's Palace is amazing. We walked the steps to the top. Watched the guarde change. The view of the city of Mont Carlo was amazing.

Just stunning to see all the restoration work. But I highly recommend getting there before noon to watch the changing of the guard. Also using the audio guide is a must to accompany you on your journey though the palaces history.

Changing of the Guard at noon is festive and fun. Gardens around the Palace offer fantastic views. Palace tours not possible until July.

It looks nice enough from outside. As a “tourist attraction” it’s a bit low end. The changing of the guard was a pointless waste of fifteen minutes, and the only real draw is the breathtaking view of the harbour.

Didn't go inside, but the palace's square is undoubtedly beautiful. All the surrounding streets are so well maintained with perfect buildings. Definitely a recommended visit.

It's Monaco.. just enjoy walking at their alleys , going through the palace.. a short visit to cathedral was worth it, then try to search some of their history (such as Grace Kelly and the Prince) It's beautiful (especially when you're an introvert)

The walk to the Palace is something I would recommend, since it offers beautiful views of Monaco. Also, there are lovely gardens along the way. It doesn't take much time for that tour.

  • 5/5 Jonathan R. 9 months ago on Google
Captivating, educational and entertaining. The palace will give a crash course of history that will help you better understand the nation itself. The rooms, paintings and grounds will certainly make you pause often because of how beautiful they are. Try not to rush through all the rooms because you might just miss something very impressive.

It's so nice there will be a panoramic view of monaco near this palace. It will be on the hill top. It would take around 20 mins to walk. But do not step back because you would miss the amazing panoramic views of monaco from the hill top and there will be a photo frame view point (where the photos will be amazing in the morning time). Simply superb.

Very nice tourist attraction. Very clean. Lots of tourist shops around and places to eat. The number 1 or 2 bus takes you up here. €5.50 for. 24hr bus pass whi h is a really good price. Starts from when you activate it. Download the app as the ticket machines no longer work. Watched the changing of the guard, that was really good. A definite must see.

Came here as part of an organised trip. We were just in time to see the changing of the guard. It's very popular and attracts a lot of people. Managed to watch on someone's phone as they held it up to record it. Didn't have time to go inside just 20 minutes or so to look around the square, see the beautiful views, buy an ice cream and a souvenir.

Nice place to go when in Monaco. At around 11.50 AM, there is the Guards Change, but don't expect something spectacular. However, the city, port, and sea views from the near 'bellevue' point (right side of the Cast) are terrific.

Very impressive country. We've seen the change of the guard at 12 pm and the beautiful cathedral.

Magnificent and stunning place. Visiting the Palace from inside is a must. You pay €10 and you get to see some major rooms inside the Palace with ample explanation of each room. This place has a real magic.

You can visit the Prince's palace if you have 1-2 hours spare.. it's not the most unique place but a nice one. Souvenir shops are cheap there compared to other shops near Monte Carlo.

Visiting Monaco is definitely one of those moments when you ask yourself “why can they be so filthy rich?” Haha. Very scenic spot and filled with tourists making a zillion selfies🤣. A must-see.

  • 5/5 Jim D. 2 years ago on Google
Very beautiful place and free to roam around. We were lucky to see the change of the guard at noon but I can't say whether they do it every hour or just at noon. Very clean and neat everywhere you go. The police are everywhere and a little rude if you ask questions but overall a very cool place to visit. Beware of the steep climb can be tiresome for older people.
