Said to be only a fraction of the collection put together by its owner over the course of almost 40 years, this museum not only chronicles the history of motorcycles on the island but testifies to notable events in its history. I am by no means an afficionado but was fortunate to get a tour by Argyris, who combined presentation of the super rare pieces, fully assembled from original parts and all still running, with personal anecdotes and stories of Cyprus biking routes. Easily one of my favourite takeaways from the country.

Very-very interesting place! Highly recommend to visit if you are real bikes fan! Please also talk to owner! Feel like he know everything about motorcycles! On the picture i added Harleys gifted by John F. Kennedy to the first Cyprus president after Cyprus became independent from The UK.

This is a very special motorcycle museum! Regarding the motorcycles on display, most of them have the patina of their time, no "professional" restoration has been done, and this gives them a sense of authenticity... There are some particularly rare bikes, such as for example the only English-made motorcycle with a flat two-cylinder engine (Douglas T35) with its unique rear suspension with double torsion bars. But the most important thing is this atmosphere, this smell, which really puts you in another era... Argiris, the guide of the museum is awesome, who, even though he is so young, has enormous knowledge about the motorcycles that his grandfather would ride.. If you find yourself in Nicosia, don't miss the opportunity to visit this excellent museum..

If you like motorcycles, it is a must. That being said, I would recommend it even if you're not into motorcycles. The passion of the guys running it is obvious. You can feel it from the moment you step inside. The restorations are done with great love and care and it shows. I felt that it is not a business or a hobby, but a passion, a life's work. Two thumbs up, truly amazing!

Our host Andreas is a lovely, friendly and above all very passionate owner of a huge amount of beautiful rarities inside the museum. He started to collect and restore different kinds of motorcycles from all over the world which made his dream come true since over forty years already. I don't want to tell everything, so generally speaking, it's definitely worth visiting this place! All the best for your next well-preserved specimens 😉

Wonderful place to see old historic bikes, some of them rare, even if you're not that interested in motorcycle 👍. Niko is the heartbeat of this place, he knows just about everything there is to know about motorcycles and is very pationate about them, (especially Norton). If you're coming by car, there's a free 60 min street parking there.

This place is a hidden gem! Not the largest museum in size but absolutely packed with historic bikes and lots of history from the island itself. If you ask the nice personal they will give you a tour around the place and tell you everything you want to now about the bikes and more! They made a little marvle with limited resources ! YOU SHOULD NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY!!! Odd Berglund

A very nice museum that takes you back to the very roots of our hobby. Really nice and passionate staff that are working on restoring bikes while you can visit the museum. Definitely a must-do for motorcycle enthusiasts in Nicosia.

We were very surprised (and happy) that they have also some motorcycles from the former eastern part of Germany (GDR): Schwalbe, Star, MZ ES125, ETS125 und ETZ125. Nicos, the very friendly guy who is running the museum and also the mechanic, knows almost everthing. Ask him something about the motorcycles in the museum and he will have an answer. Really worth to visit.

As a new biker this museum was on top of my to-do list in Nicosia. I wanted so much to see it and panicked a bit because it wasn't opened at 10 o'clock on a Saturday. But after I visited the The Cyprus Museum I came back and it was opened, the nice man in front confirming they are open six days a week. Very interesting, with a lot of motorcycles, a lot of them reconditioned and in a good state. The place is not small, but the motorcycles are many, so the only bad part is that you can't take great pictures, you will have to store this in your memory. :)

Absolutely amazing place for those who are in love with bikes! Very rare items, amazing history pieces and a very welcoming guide and storyteller, who left my 9 y.o. son just speechless. Highly recommended, especially in December, when there is a chance to meet the owner himself, who happens to be Santa Clause at the same time, riding one of the bikes on the streets of Nicosia!

My Dad has wanted to visit this museum for years and this year we were able to do so. What a fantastic collection of motorcycles and Nico was very knowledgeable as our guide. Dad loved it and would have stayed all day! Well worth the visit and would definitely go back if we are in Nicosia again. Thanks Nico and the Cyprus Classic Motorcycle Museum

Fantastic for lovers of motorbikes and anyone passionate about or appreciative of restoration. I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel very welcome. The bikes are absolutely stunning, and chatting to the owner was an enlightening conversation. I was shown before photos of bikes as they were discovered, and videos of them starting up for the first time in over 45 years, which truly makes you appreciate the skill and work put into their restoration. It’s a quick stop museum, but there’s plenty to see and plenty to dream about when you leave.

Our 3 years child enjoyed the tour where Nico explained the special features of some of the motorcycles and explained how to ride the motorcycles. There's a big showroom with approx 100 old motorcycles and one which you can get on to take photos. Recommended for a 20 minutes visit even if your not a bikes fan.

I have not been to the museum yet as travel from Canda is difficult at this time. I can say I have seen great videos of restorations of vintage machines, as well as great photos. Also the folks there are very friendly as I keep in touch with Andreas and his family. Cheers!!

We visited this small, but a comprehensive display of vintage motorcycles. All but one are in working order and lovingly maintained by the motor cycle enthusiast who runs the museum. Through speaking to this man, it becomes clear that the museum is his passion. Small, but well worth a visit.

I love it! Miko showed us nicely all of his collection and told the history of the exhibits. Add well as showed the process of fixing the motorcycles from the scratch. The place is totally worth visiting and is near the Lebas street.

The plus: the museum is a labor of love, the people there, especially the young guy, is a total motorhead... huge pluses The minuses however, are strong: the light in the museum is terrible, something that could be fixed in a minute; the bikes are just there, side by side, too jammed together; there are too many examples that basically shouldn't be in a museum at all

The motorcycle museum is a fascinating place where love for motorcycles, history, culture of appreciation and respect for the old combine, each motorcycle is a story in itself The exciting photographs add to the authentic experience and teach about the history of Cyprus and the world through motorcycles Niko, who maintains the museum, is a talented and gifted guy who restores old motorcycles and by a craftsman creates a new motorcycle with an old base and is also an interesting conversationalist. It is highly recommended to visit the museum

Fantastic place, fantastic stock and fantastic people, we were met by Argyris who is very knowledgeable and could tell us the history of every bike. We later spoke to Andreas who also gave us a great welcome. I could have stayed there all do. Well worth hiring a car from our hotel in Paphos to complete my visit from Scotland.
