Wow. Wow. Wow. A beautiful National Park. The picnic/day use area is great. Lots of tables and BBQs. And to top it off...clean toilets! The trails are well kept and lovely. The walk up to Pyramid Rock is challenging but if you stick to the markers it is achievable.

Lovely spot for a walk. Various degrees of difficulty. Many easy walks. Bald Rock more challenging, but fun. Take plenty of water. Flies can be bad in summer. Nice picnic grounds.

Stunning national Park with several walk options, this is pics from the arch walk (gentle short loop) and the pyramid walk (lots of stairs, some scrambling up and some butt slides down), the view from the top was just amazing!! Also some great bird life.

This is the coolest national park I’ve been to in Queensland. The boulders are absolutely magical. It really does feel like you’re in the forgotten land of the giants. I was in awe the entire time. We went through the Granite Arch and hiked up the Pyramid. The Pyramid was very steep and there were some areas that were wet and slippery so it was a little scary to navigate around but we made it to the top and it was breathtaking.

Huge boulders and stunning rock formations. The pyramid is not for the faint hearted, well worth the scramble to the top for an experienced hiker, hiking boots strongly recommend. If you don't want to hike there are lots of lovely walks for most abilities. Don't forget to check out underground creek, worth the little drive from the main camping and day use area. Stop off at The chocolate shop for a treat on the way home, if chocolate is not your thing, pick up some onion jam, so yummy!

Big car park, toilets, gas bbq’s, grassy area for kids to roam and visitor centre. There is camping available across the road. The area itself is like a moon landscape with a creek that runs through it. Many walking tracks well signed. Lots of kangaroos and wildflowers. Easy short walk to Granite Arch.

Great place to stay and unwind. Recently renovated so amenities are excellent (no showers though, as with other state parks). Fires provided on camping spots, bring your own off-ground fireplace for caravan spots. All plots ate large, flat and a good distance apart.

Fantastic views and excellent camping facilities. The recent upgrades to the camping grounds has provided flushing toilets with cubicles for showers. Plenty of options for tents or camper vans. The hikes are all well laid out and signposted with just amazing views of all the granite country. My favourite place was exploring and climbing all over turtle rock.and climbing up the pyramid is an experience I’ll never forget.

Did "the junction" 5km round trip bushwalk leaving from Bald Rock carpark, it was a lovely walk, not strenuous, our group had small children with us as well. It was totally worth the trip, the junction where two creeks meet is gorgeous, and we all enjoyed swimming in the natural pools too.

Girraween is an amazing wilderness place to explore. The granite rocks are huge and imposing with sooo much character it makes you feel respect for them as they dominate the landscape. I loved climbing and hiking and just sitting atop them to view the beautiful scenery. 100% energising. Go and do it! πŸ‘πŸ™‚

A park reserve keeping the natural landscape of the assuie outback. It was a most wonderful morning walk in the cool winter with the air fresh and crisp. Try out all the trails. The view is spectacular!

Overnight hike, first time visit. Amazing scenery, mix of easy and challenging trails, and lots of wildlife and wildflowers. Could definitely see why it's called 'Place of Flowers'. πŸͺ»First day highlight was almost stepping on a basking taipan. 😬 Don't forget the snake kit! πŸ˜…

Stopped here along our travels to stretch our legs so we went for one of the smaller walking tracks. Wyberba walking trail Explorer and botanist Allan Cunningham led the first European expedition into the Wyberba area on Tuesday 26th June 1827. Cunningham's party found their way to a high spot in the north eastern section of the present day Girraween only to be confronted with what seemed like a endless barrier of ridges. Vast sculptured granite landscape with craggy outcrops, huge rounded boulders poised aloft, colourful slabs and giant stone arches with meandering waterways lined with plant life that in spring bursts with flamboyant wildflowers is how it's described in the billboards and I must say that it was absolutely amazing seeing the wonderful landscape and waterways along the small trail we followed plus there were plenty of interesting billboards located around the grounds. The information centre was closed when we visited but there was plenty of picnic tables, toilets and benches around the parking area.

Great park and camping site. The pyramid is astonishing when you at the bottom and look at it. Full of fun with the climbing.

Highly recommended. Frequent visitor to the park. You will not be disappointed. Fantastic walking trails. Some challenging sections but you will be rewarded by your achievements once you complete the various trails, Offers great swimming spots as well. Like all bushwalking, a common sense approach is required & safety precautions should be taken.

Absolutely breathtaking place, great camping and fantastic hiking. Bring a solar shower as there are no showers available, but there are amenities. Boil tap water before drinking.

Beautiful bushland combined with colossal granite boulders that have been shaped and rounded by wind and rain for thousands of years. A highlight is the "Balancing Rock" that can be found at the top of the Pyramid track. This walk has a lot of steps, and transitions to climbing a smooth rock face. A good level of fitness is required along with shoes with grip. Perhaps not for those with a fear of heights, but the summit is worth the effort. Walking tracks have easy to follow signage. Take your camera.

It’s an amazing place to explore. My husband and I tried to walk Granite Arch circuit and Bald Rock Creek circuit this time. Beautiful nature flowers are blooming, grasses are green, birds are singing sweetly and rock formations are dynamic and very interesting to see.πŸͺ¨ We really want to try to go up to The Pyramid and Castle Rock next time!

Finally, we are in the Granite Belt region. Girraween Nation Park is beautiful and has many walks for all levels of walker. A lot of bushwalking and camping. A visitor centre is a nice setup.

Great view and well maintenance camping sites. The toilet is clean and very maintenance. No bin in the day use area, please bring your garbage with you home. Went for a short walk to Granite arch and the pyramid, it is beautiful and definitely worth it.
