A little bit expensive but it is good place to see the beach and turkey. It's suitable for all kinds of stay.

Super stunning view! absolutely worth more than five stars! If U have NSW national Park annual pass can part your car at lighthouse area for free! Many short walks around all with stunning views! If U are planning to watch the first sunrise of the Australian Mainland, please park the car before the gate and walk up. Better go earlier, because it is quite popular every day,! Enjoy this beautiful land and bring your rubbish away,!

This is a beautiful tourist attraction. Whales out to sea.. beautiful walk.. But the parking is terrible .. the meters were not working & had to use an app... very confusing & time wasting

  • 3/5 Brock D. 9 months ago on Google
Amazing view but you're better off hiking the entire way up because parking is a joke, if you manage to actually get one make sure you pay the meter.

Cape Byron Lighthouse was a great viewpoint to watch the whales having fun so close to land.

Byron is beautiful. We saw whales and dolphins from the beach and the lookout, surfers, the sunrise. Love it. Great vibe, great food, great place.

Beautiful view of very busy. A few tourists took it upon themselves to bypass the fencing ruining the view for everyone else and adding tot the evident erosion we see. Too many people taking Bali bad habits with them to other places

Great views, seen tons of whales and enjoyed a nice coffee

Not enough parking. Seek alternative transport to the top. One of the most beautiful and scenic places in Byron Bay, which is already a very beautiful town. The views are simply amazing, and the area is full of wildlife. We could see whales off in the distance, and there were plenty of butterflies and birds. There's a Cafe at the top that has to have one of the best views of any Cafe around. Definitely go and have a look of you're even remotely near the area. Just don't expect to be able to find parking at the top.

It's worth a visit to this park. The lighthouse & keepers cottages are pristine. Not to mention you'll be on the furthest eastern point you can be in the country. Not much parking on the way up there or at the top so I recommend walking up if you can. The views at the top are fantastic & if you're lucky you'll see humpback whales splashing about in the ocean during migration season (May - November). Dogs not allowed.

Been here so many times and every time it's beautiful and magnificent....I love it ..the view and the vibes 😍 Parking is always a hassle, traffic needs to be monitored and needs assistance . Being such a beautiful tourist spot and limited time cafeteria service was disappointing..... please do something about it...

We went there at 5:20 in the morning to see the sunrise. Unfortunately it was cloudy, or not, look at the pictures and decide for yourself.

Great spot to go visit and walk down to the eastern most point of the Australian mainland!

You will see strings of people heading there like a pilgrimage on a busy day. The view is no doubt worth the trip. There is a little cafe to warm you up particularly on a wet day. One can drive all the way up there.

It's home to the Cape Byron State Conservation Area, which includes the iconic Cape Byron Lighthouse, stunning coastal views, walking trails, and diverse marine life. The Cape Byron State Conservation Area is known for its natural beauty, offering visitors opportunities for whale watching, enjoying the beaches, and exploring the lush rainforest and coastal landscapes.

It is really nice there! Some ppl don't care about regeneration of nature, so they put their towels everywhere. Take your time, maybe you see some dolphins

If you are in Byron Bay it is a must, not far away from all the action you can do small walks that takes you to wonderful views and amazing beaches. Fun Fact has the most eastern point of Australia as a photo opportunity!

A must see if you visit Byron Bay. Limited parking space, came in the afternoon but could not secure paking spot and was asked to leave by the volunteer. Came back the next morning πŸ™‚. Wear comfy shoes if you wish to walk to the most easterly point..

$8 for 1h parking. It's more than plenty of time to do the walk and come back. The place is stunning. We also saw dolphins!!

Lovely area in Byron, great view and walk up to the lighthouse via the headland (proximity 2.5km up) passing the signposted "most easterly point of Australia" Driving up is an option however parking near the lighthouse is very limited and ticketed a ranger at $8 Busy walk with the path shared by walkers and runners. Will definitely visit again.

A beautiful spot just to chill out and relaxe. It is winter at the moment and don't have a wet suit so I didn't go in the water. But I plan to go back during summer. You can even see whales feeding just of shore. But I think that is only at certain times of the year.

Absolute beauty. This walk to the lighthouse is thrilling. Very nice views. The water was deep blue and green. On sunny and calm day it felt like this was the most beautiful place in Australia. 360 degree views of the bay were awesome. Wategos beach has its own beauty. Lush green trees.

Great place to visit. Good cafe. Lighthouse was interesting but as run by volunteers, it was then shut as two hadn't turned up. Fantastic views.

Beautiful hidden spot in Byron Bay. Great beach for the families! Waves are small and not too strong but enough for the kids to enjoy (also depends on the wind). There's a cafe, toilets, picnic tables and car park nearby. Although you'll have to pay a fee for the car park per hr (uses only tap).

My beautiful wife was kind enough to drop myself and a few friends at the lighthouse so we could lazily walk along the cliffs and down to the beach while spotting large pods of dolphins and lots of green sea turtles. We ended the lazy walk with a swim on Watford Beach. Bloody amazing.

The best place for Sunrise view, morning trek, swimming by the sea and even for sea view stay. We could capture the best sunrise picture and we can also visit the light house which is there right on the top. There is even a cafe at the top with a limited morning breakfast. There are also restrooms available at ease.

A place not to be missed, the roads and parking can be busy at times but it's worth the extra wait or drive, poster worthy location, superb and breathtaking views, great spot for some great Instagram worthy pix
