    This hotel was the absolute worst experience we’ve ever had. We get to the hotel and check in, walk to our room in the 90 degree hallways where there were no carts available for luggage. Get to the “suite” that has a partition in the middle of the room and see what they consider a suite. See at a HUGE stain on the floor, written on the BROKEN sliding glass door is “I nutted all over the bed”. Nice to see the rooms were thoroughly cleaned huh? We called down to the front desk for an explanation and we’re offered no apology just “oh we’ll change your room” so we go down and get new keys for a different floor and get back up to the new room only for the keys to not work. Went back to the front desk for a third time and asked for some kind of reasonable accommodation for the inconvenience and were offered “do you just want to cancel?” After a 5 hour drive and no other hotel reservation for Father’s Day weekend? .. not really, but if that’s all you’re going to offer then okay. So I asked for a confirmation of the cancelation only to be told “our system doesn’t do that” so I’m just supposed to take your word? $770+ for 2 nights and you can’t even print me a cancellation confirmation? Absolutely ridiculous. Will never be coming back here.

    Normally I read reviews but I booked in hurry for this trip. Big mistake. Spoiler alert, parking is $10 a night but they don't tell you. Arrived late to an indifferent reception. The rooms are nice and big with dated furniture. The wall thermostat was worthless. The HVAC unit probably needs cleaning. This is an older property and the rooms have had a superficial upgrade. The hot water was immediate but pressure low. But the worst was the restaurant, had breakfast and the sausage tasted bad or old. Had two dishes on two days and both were awful. Besides overpriced they got my bill wrong and when I called to correct my bill I had to come back to the hotel to correct as whoever I talked to on the phone said they couldn't do anything to help me. There is a brand new Hampton Inn across the street with free parking.

    The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a very good area. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfy. The bathroom was super clean, and I loved the kitchenette area. The best thing is the balcony. Each room has one, and I was so happy because I didn't have to walk outside of the hotel to blaze ;). The breakfast is cooked to order, so it was fresh 😋. I got an amazing deal online and so breakfast was included with our room. Thank Gosh, because their prices are a little high. They have a full bar and I can't wait to stay again on our next trip.

    Your standard Holiday Inn hotel, has a big atrium in the center of the complex, that are surrounded by all of the rooms, it was built probably 20 or 30 years ago and definitely is in need of update however, they’ve maintained it well and it looks like it’s been given the recommended maintenance. Location is very convenient as it’s located right off the freeway, yet Santa Maria is not very big so it’s also close to the downtown and popular shopping areas.

    Luxurious bedding with fluffy pillows super comfortable. Amenities which are made available in room are idealistic, classic and convenient.

    This particular crew of front desk and management went above and beyond to help my family and I when the 3rd party billing company, booking.com, messed up our reservation on their end. The management and front desk staff worked with me for 3 hours to resolve the issue and we're over the top helpful. Thank you so much, you guys rock!

    The great customer service by Elyssa. She checked us all in with fast time. She is very pleasant and charming. The rooms were good. Bed very comfortable. The bar was good but service a little slow. Overall. We will come back when our work takes to Santa Maria.

    We loved our stay at this hotel May 13-14th. Our first travels since 2019! Our room was lovely with the modern kitchenette and spectacular view of the pool. We had come to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary and this was one of the nicest places we stayed. Modern, clean, safe, and provided all the little amenities and personal touches we have come to love about IHG. The customer service at check-in was friendly, welcoming and made the process easy. The beds and shower provided the rest and relaxation we needed having driven from Oregon. Great trip, great stay, would recommend and hope to one day return.

    I am certain that I was ripped-off by this hotel! The room smelled moldy. One light bulb in the bathroom was flickering. Did not change my towels and clean the trash bin. The hotel charged me $682.15 for 2 nights. I was asked if I have a military ID for possible discount but they didn't honor it because its a weekend stay. Front desk informed me that military discount is on weekdays only. Don't Military protect the people 24/7? I was charged double in my second night because of the holiday. Hotels like Holiday Inn take advantage of people who just trying to enjoy the holiday. Why double charge on holidays, you don't give double services, anyway.

    Rooms were spacious and clean but dated. There was no hair dryer, there was only one pod for coffee, which we did not realize until early the morning after we arrived. The shower handle came off in my hand when I tried to take a shower. As it was late, after 11:00 P.M. and my husband was asleep it was too late to call maintenance.

    We stay here every time we are in the area. The staff is always welcoming, the food at the hotel restaurant is very good, and we love the little touches in the room, like the great coffee service, the comfy couch, the microwave and mini-fridge. Our room is always clean and quiet. The parking is easy. We have tried a few other hotels in the area. This is our go-to hotel. We wo't stay anywhere else.

    Friendly front desk. Good customer service. The carpet in the room had several large stain spots. The room is very large. TV, remote, and AC very dated. Mini fridge in room kept leaking. Sliding door to balcony jammed and unable to open. The shower handle has "special instructions " in order to turn on/off water.

    Horrible stay. I always book for business and my wife typically books for our leisure but this business trip experience was horrible. Sink and tub were partially clogged, room preference was not granted, desk lamp didn't work, patio door was difficult to open, need I go on? I will continue my membership but this location was horrible. Too much cost cutting...coffee, cups, towels, microwave...come on people. If you can't provide a full complimentary breakfast how about a continental breakfast.

    We needed a place to stay for a couple of nights and we chose the holiday inn since the prices were reasonable and they had availability. The size of the room was larger than I expected, especially for a room with double beds. The upkeep was ok, but just ok. The fan in the bathroom and one of the bathroom lights didn’t work, at least I think it was a fan since the light switch didn’t work (so I wasn’t sure what it was for). The front desk service was helpful, which we appreciated.

    The hot tub had caution tape around it, so that hadn't worked in a while, and we were looking forward to it. When we got to our room it smelled really bad, so they switched us to another room. To compensate for the inconvenience they took off the $10 they charged us for parking that they didn't tell us about until we had already paid for it. I liked the balcony, and the rooms are big. The shower was kinda old and had a sign because turning it on was weird and the "fart fan" didn't work so it was a bit musty. I was expecting a bit more from this hotel, and was disappointed.

    Wonderful accommodations! Immaculate room too. Very surprised with the excellence of the quality of food at the restaurant tonight. Reasonably priced and hearty portions! Warmly recommended!

    Amazing front desk staff in our stay rooms were all the best I wanted the only thing I was kinda upset I went to go order food at the little restaurant by the front desk after I order my food I told her I'll be sitting in the front of the main reception I could see them and they could see me is not like I was hiding well I was waiting for my food the lady would look at me but she did bother to call me I had to get up and check what was going on she said she had my food already waiting more than 45 min and shes like I didn't see u I'm like I'm right in front and you guys have our number
