For a last minute get away and showing up at 9:00 pm they found us a room and this place was way nicer than we could have imagined and for the price we paid I would have paid double. Small indoor pool was perfect for my little family. Got there and found a room and checked in at 9:00 pm in the pool by 9:10pm and enjoyed until the pool closed at 10:00 pm. Complimentary Breakfast from 6am to 9am. You couldn't beat the price. 5 minutes from Boomers, a family attraction park with Go-karts, miniature golf, bumper boats, arcade and batting cages. an all day get away for the family. Great trip.

I never leave reviews but, I couldn't let this slide. I love Marriott hotels, but this Fairfield is not a good representation of the brand. The mini fridge shuts off after 2 hours. Our food spoiled, and apparently, the hotel is aware of this. They should not advertise that they offer mini fridges. The room was rundown, the walls were very thin, and the bathrooms need an overhaul! Our toilet seat kept sliding, the shower faucets had mold and the shower head would not fully turn on because the knob was broken so both the shower head and bath faucets stayed on. The hook to hold the bath towel was falling off. I would not recommend this hotel!

Very clean hotel. Rooms were clean. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast was what is to be expected at a Fairfield Inn. Breakfast area was very clean. Ask for room away from the road or you will hear cars all night.

My partner and I stayed here after our friends' wedding in Solvang, and enjoyed our stay! The room was well-appointed, the coffee was excellent and the breakfast was much appreciated.

The included breakfast was a treat. We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh breakfast professionally arranged and efficiently topped off by Ava. She was exceptionally quick to ensure that the food and condiments are refilled and elegantly presented. Thank you Ava.

The reason for the 3½ is because of their cleanliness,with the exception of fridge. It needed to be wiped down good. Everything was basic BUT clean for the most partThe room was pretty small. We could barley fit the luggage rack in the room. The staff was fine. Affordable, clean room.

This is our second time , the breakfast is always good. This time our room is on the side of the busy street and we can hear the cars even late at night. Next time we will request a different room . Over all we love the service and staff.

10:30 at night a woman and child walk through the Fairfield lobby obviously upset mention the difficult night escaping from a dangerous situation inquiring the price.212$ the front desk lady says with tearful eyes and the last of what she has the woman thinks she would give everything for a safe place for her 4 year old.she gives her ID and quickly the other clerk interups and says oh your from Santa Maria there is a 250$ deposit for being a resident of Santa maria!... trying not to make a bigger scene and beg for help says I can't afford that they watch as the woman takes her crying child's hand back into the dark night.there was no Fair in Fairfield that night😔

Where do I start … it appears they don’t have good cleaning crew or just don’t have what’s needed. There was no conditioner in the bottle, the hair dryer was broken, the A/C sounded like a plane landing, the bed felt like a prison cot, and we were woken up by loud music either inside or above us at 5:30 which played for hours. I went to do a load of laundry and there was THROW UP in the washer and dryer so appears nobody is checking there either…. I went out the night prior to look for something we forgot to pack and literally around the corner is a good marker which was easy but also next to good will which had few sketchy characters. I also have never seen a Marriott with security guards which threw me off…. But hey the staff was super nice!

Clean and well kept hotel with; good basic amenities and fresh yummy breakfast. Clean room and quiet place overall. Friendly and professional staff who are willing to help. Nice small fitness center and free parking.

Great location near wineries! We stopped there on the way to LA from SF and really appreciate how clean and comfortable it was. Special shoutout to Salomon for finding my laptop after I left it in the breakfast area.

I was in Santa Maria California for work and I spent five nights at the Fairfield Inn. Everything is fresh and in good repair...and very clean. The room was nice and very clean...even the bed linen smelled clean. I took advantage of the breakfast buffet included with the room and was glad to have a hot breakfast every morning on site. The best part of my stay were the great people working there...friendly and professional... especially Phill. Phill had amazing customer service skills and as a local, provide invaluable insight and suggestions that really made my stay incredible, especially his restaurant suggestions! I will definitely be staying here again!

Low quality cheap looking "Ramada or Comfort Inn style" hotel. Doesn't look like a Marriott. Room was old needing lots of upgrades. Breakfast was acceptable. Only nasty looking sausage, no bacon or ham. Only 1 kind of milk. Regular yogurt, not Greek. Low water pressure for shower. Ran out of hot water halfway through shower. Plastic misaligned toilet seat. No liner in plastic garbage cans. Really small TV. Mobile key in app never worked. Wall thermostat didnt work. Patched paint didnt match (flat vs semi gloss), scratched walls, chipped furniture. Everything about this motel is cheap. NOT worth the Marriott price. I do not recommend this property and will not stay again. Staff was very nice.

Stayed for one night during a road trip. Conveniently located. Friendly staff. Clean and nice lobby. Pool and hot tub open late. 24hr gym with cardio machines and a few free weights. Free coffee and tea throughout the day. Free breakfast which consisted of eggs, sausages, waffles, cereal, bagels, oatmeal. Rooms were a little outdated but clean.

The facilities and rooms are a bit dated. The tiles in the pool area has paint that's peeling off. Breakfast was ok though. And the staff is super friendly!

Here on business. It became obvious that this hotel is home to those who can’t afford apartments. or live on the road. Rooms are small for suites, with a bathroom sink attached to the wall like in a gas station. No sofa, desk is the kitchen table. No USB plugs. Spend a little more and get decent amenities for yourself if you have to stay a few days for work.

Based on 1 visit: Great soundproofing, nice hotel for the Fairfield brand, comfortable room, nice staff. They started packing away breakfast a half an hour before it was supposed to end; We were glad that we were pretty much done by then.

Great location. New and clean facilities. However, the closet door seems totally unnecessary: its design is dangerous and caused my personal injury within 2 minutes after checking in. If children put in their fingers between the closet door gap, this door could easily break their bones.

We really enjoyed breakfast here. The pool was great. Nice rooms. We also did our laundry here, they have a small room with a washer and dryer; you can get change at the front desk for quarters and they gave us detergent as well. We would stay here again.

This hotel met my needs. The rooms are typical for a Fairfield. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was sufficient. I've stayed here twice now and plan to stay again.

Nice hotel, but noisy inconsiderate upstairs neighbors. Sounds like a bunch of kids running and jumping.

Convienent location near highway. Excellent rooms. Staff were polite and professional. Definitely recommend and will stay again if in area.

The staff is wonderful! Susie helped us out tremendously with a request regarding our stay and we couldn't be happier. Great people make all the difference, and we look forward to future stays at the Fairfield Inn Santa Maria!
