Racist club ever found in United Kingdom, Have a doubt on desperado’s quality and taste.Sound quality and lightening was below average. Don’t even categorise as a night club. Ripping on drinks . The whole management, bouncers and especially some counter staffs have to visit nicer clubs and learn how they manage and behave it properly. The attitude of the bar staff people thinking they hosting party of thousands while They doing for two hundred. Even the small floors is not full.

We were on the guest list and had a booth booked in too. But the bouncer denied the entry because he was RACIST. We were there on time and properly decked up as well. Been to other clubs but never faced such discrimination. People make glasgow but he was racist. Incident time 10pm, date - 29/4/22.

Bouncers have taken my daughters driving licence from her last night at the door, awaiting phone call back from manager otherwise I am phoning police, this is illegal.

Bartender took my drinks order then disappeared down the other end of the bar, came back and took my money but then never gave me any drinks and started serving other people. I asked where my drink were and she pointed to 2 half full drinks half way down the bar from me just sitting for anyone to grab or spike. I’d ordered 2 different measures but got 2 identical half empty glasses. Didn’t even drink them incase it was just random drinks like it seemed to be. No regard for customers safety

My daughter was manhandled by a bouncer out the ladies toilets. She is tiny, she has damaged both het wrists, had her hair pulled. All because there was a leak in the toilet and she was washing her hands after using the toilet (basic hygeine. Now in the hands of the police.

I had a night out sorted with my friends after an awards ceremony but when I was ordering a drink a bouncer asked me to leave due to how I was, even though I had been only within my group of friends I had entranced with. The state of the bouncers within this establishment do not know what can be a threat whether or not they walked through the door due to the fact they do not endorse pat downs in order to help clienteles security. Overall they should not plot a case against assumptions but base their case on prolonged evaluation during the night in which you want to stay

Came outside to Call my sister as lost her and was told to leave as we were too drunk. I'm 30 left completely sober and asked numerous times what I did wrong as has been in there all night with friends. Was told that a female 'worker' didn't want us in there. Absolutely no need.

Yeah, I believe the club’s been rammed with 16 years. The most lamest club, I’ve ever seen. Bouncers always find a way to push you out of the club. On top of that, Scotland’s a lame law- if you find yourself drunk in clubs/pubs they’ve every right to kick you out. Like come on, tf?

I went on a Monday night and had the best night I've ever had on a Monday. Great music with me and my friend dancing the entire night. Couldn't recommend it enough. I don't know what it's like on a weekend but Monday was amazing. Compare that to the next night where people told me to try Manuka but warned me about the gammorean guards called "bouncers".Seen them chilling with jabba on his barge the other night the absolute pig people. We were refused entry with no explanation which is fine because they won't be getting an explanation when I come back with a bag of haggis and wrap it around there heads. Summary: Kokomo>>>>>>>>>Manuka

Great music, cheap drinks and the staff were great. Abbie, Forbes and Donald especially at the end of the night were great at putting up with that weird annoying drunk girl (defo wasn’t me) and Kokomo were quick and efficient in getting back to me when I had left my passport. Good wee night out especially students

Very strange bouncers. Admitted there was extremely few people inside but wouldn't let us in (before midnight). Think they need to adjust their advertised hours if they’re closing the door before 12 with about 20 people inside.

One of the finest clubs in Glasgow. This is a small venue, a little out of the way of the rest of the city centre pubs, clubs etc. The variety of DJs and acts the Suite hosts is exceptional,tl the crowd is always fantastic, the door staff approachable and not militant like other places. There is a small bar upstairs with some booth seating, and down stairs is the main dance floor, also with a bar. If you like proper, underground electronic music then this is a must visit club.

If you like hiphop and everything having to do with a classic basement party, this is the place. Neon lights adorn the first floor entry. Chinese lanterns are scattered in random places below. The washroom has perfect selfie lighting. And the music — oooh, the music — 100% recommend for hiphop lovers and the like. Definitely the place to be on a night out in Glasgow.

Went there for Fleetmac Wood night, one of the female bar staff was one of the rudest people I’ve met in a while. She had a go at not only me but a group of people she tried to get passed who had been unaware of her presence, how her behaviour escalated towards them over sometime so simple was Ming boggling. This was followed by, maybe the manager (I’m not sure) saying they would get thrown out if they didn’t behave without finding out what actually happened. Avoid.

Horrible door staff refused entry for no reason and wasn't even refused to our face he told a friend who had already been in but came out to meet us as we arrived in the taxi outside the club, that we couldn't get in. No reason given and very rude we had come straight from home and had not been anywhere else so we were not drunk. Clearly didn't like the look of me because I didn't match the look of the other girls that were allowed in and when I asked for his name he had the cheek to ask me why before giving me it.

One of the best, if not, the best place for a night out in Glasgow. Always something on to suit anyone's taste in music.

Partner came home THIS MORNING after having a few drinks at this bar. Only people handling his drinks was him and the bar...hes covered in bruises, bloody nose and cant remember a thing. Think he was spiked. Going to the hospital for bloods.

One of the best nightclubs/bars I've been to in Glasgow ever. Total art déco interior, venue space is just right not too big not too small, every night I've been, has been the most amazing atmosphere, people you meet are so friendly. Would highly recommend everyone experience a night in here

My daughter pre booked a booth area to celebrate her 21st. On arrival to the venue, rude obnoxious bouncers refused entry to the group, and when asked to be given an explanation,were told by the bouncers that they were under no obligation to offer a reason why . Bouncers who think there God and who clearly have more brawn than brain should be ashamed of their arrogant rude demeanour and avoided at all costs, as should this disgrace of a so called nightclub.

Last night me and my friend came here with intentions of a good night out AVOID this place the staff were rude and a security guard kicked us out for no reason and started grabbing and pulling my friend away from me with no reason given. Do NOT go here!

Tried to phone automated service telling us to send an email to the manager never replied been trying to call tonight again still on automated service. You would think the manager would have the decency to at least reply to the emails he or she has received. ??

I've been to Kokomo multiple times and I can't say that I've had a good experience there. If your not flat out refused entry before you even speck to the bouncers, then they are the most miserable people I've ever met. Don't even bother

Not a great place at all. Bouncers were rather unfriendly on entry. Interior is nice but is way too dark. Music is decent. Multiple rooms so that you can pick between loud, too loud, extremely loud and deafening. The bathroom cubicle I used had no lock. Every room is too packed to actually enjoy your night and drinks are overpriced with not enough bar staff - be prepared to wait half an hour for drinks. Wouldn't reccommend.

Nice place inside with classy interior, BUT.....It seems that any time I have been someone in our group doesn't get in and staff dont bother giving you any reason for this when asked. The other night after an hour or so in the place myself and a friend went out for a cigarette and when returning to the entrance the bouncer allowed him back in but not me, bouncers gave us no reason for this and seemed disinterested. Moral of the story is- Act sober even if you are sober..

Went for a Kanye West dedicated night and got roughly 8 Kanye songs in the entire night, there were more drake songs than Kanye one drake song came on twice in the space of an hour, the dj needs to sort himself out, false advertising beyond a joke

RACIST club. If you are black, don't even bother patronising these people with your money. If I could give it only half a star for its decor I would. The manager and staff encourage racial bias and are very rude. They don't take in views of their guests or even understand that "the customer is always right". We were rudely treated by staff, drinks were spilled on us...albeit being clumsy but it was more than once and very ridiculous. The manager basically told me my discomfort or unhappiness about the way we were treated by her staff was my business. My friends and I had the worst time here. DO NOT GO. WORST PLACE IN GLASGOW.

We had the same experience as some before. They were not going to let me back in the club after a cigarette although I had all my stuff inside. I was slightly drunk but who`s not? The bouncer did not give me a straight reason why or any of his details to identify him in a potential complaint. It really felt like he`s only doing it because he can. My girlfriend had to pay £6 for this. Just don`t go there.

Me and my friend arrived at Kokomo on Saturday the 4th of August approximately just before 12. We were greeted by an extremetly rude bouncer at the door - I dont know his name but he is a white man and has a long beard, tall and broader. My friend said we are on the guest list and he looked at us as if we just came off a boat then very abruptly told us to speak to the other bouncer - now this is not the first we have came across this bouncer as he stands at the doors almost every Saturday night we have came to Kokomo. So we get in, i was driving that night so i DID NOT consume any sort of alcohol, all i had was a diet coke, my friend however had maybe 2 diet cokes with vodka, we danced for a bit and decided lets go back outside to smoke a cigarette and get some fresh air, we maybe spent 10-15mins outside and as we were about to walk back inside the club and this was around just after 1.30am, the same rude bouncer puts his clipboard right in my way and says “you cant go back inside your far to drunk” to which i reply “Im not drinking as i am driving tonight” he replies back saying “im not gonna stand here and argue with you i need you to get out the way” i showed him my car keys to prove that i am not drinking and i completley sober and showed my stamp on the wrist. Me and my friend felt so embarrassed and humiliated the way he was talking down to us and im sure i heard him mutter something racial under his breath which i do not appreciate. Feeling embarrassed and degraded we moved to the side of the club thinking on what to do for rest of the night. Now around 1.45am a group of white girls who were in the same club went back inside with absolute no problem and they were clearly drunk, and then a new group of white lads came to the club who were greeted by the same bouncer who was laughing with them checking their ID’s to let them in the club and he did. I have never felt so racially belittled, had an awful night because of this bouncer - as i’ve said before in this email this isnt the first we have came across this bouncer at Kokomo as he rejected us the week before again looking at us as if we were foreigners. Kokomo is our favourite club and we like to come here almost every Saturday night so we can enjoy ourselves and enjoy our weekend however this bouncer is making our experience with Kokomo horrific - they write on there facebook “Kokomo loves everyone” well apparently not an ethnic British asians.

I will never come to this place again. I had all my friends inside with the table booked and the bouncer in a very rude way told me that he did not let me in tonight, and also went out some of my friends to explain that I was with them and that we had the table together, but continuing rudely, he said that I had now been discarded. I just went away and enjoyed my night with my friends in another place but now I'm the one who discarded the Kokomo forever.and every time I organize with my friends I will always go elsewhere...

Cant actually believe what just happened tonight!!! I have been in constant contact via private messaging with kokomo trying to organise a birthday celebration for my daughter. They could not have been nicer..offering to put her and 11 friends on guest list as no booths available ( thank goodness I didnt pay for booth..as apparently doesnt guarantee entry either!!!???) I had a message from them as late as 10.05 tonight to say the party of 12 were on guest list till 12pm........they got there at 11.20 and were refused entry...with no reason!??? Very rude doorman just said he didnt need to give them a reason and guest list meant nothing.!!!! My daughter has never been so embarrassed in her life. WELL DONE KOKOMO......you have succeeded in both embarassing my daughter and sabotaging her birthday celebrations!!! Please do not even think of planning anything with this place..you will only be disappointed. Note.......this does not merit the 1 star review but wont post without a rating....there should really be a minus star rating !!
