(Translated by Google) Place where we enjoy and know more about our island and its natural spaces such as marine flora and fauna, very good facilities, a lot of hygiene, very well preserved all its spaces, it is in Boca de Río very close after you enter the Macanao Peninsula to the west from the island of Margarita. Let's keep and keep clean the places we visit, it is the best way to reflect what we are and to maintain the environment for the enjoyment of our future generations. It's a nice place, but a bit sad when you see the conditions in which turtles and other animals are kept here. Generally, a nice museum to see some of the history of the island and their work. Nice exhibition of shells and skeletons of various fish and other creatures. The story of pearl diving 😉 then turtles and small sharks in sad concrete pools and only for that 4 stars. The visit is part of the entire trip, I do not recommend going extra on your own.

The museum is one of the necessary places to visit, now in January 2023 the entrance is $5 general admission, children and seniors $3.5... We arrived at noon or so, on a Saturday and they gave us the tour a student of marine biology and it was the best explanation that we have been given in any other museum, we were even able to see how he gave food to the turtles. I give the tour 10/10, I learned several interesting things, thank you all very much for keeping the place so beautiful and being dedicated in what you do.

(Translated by Google) The place has declined but remains. Part of historical exhibition is in very good condition. Aquarians are almost empty. Have few living species to exhibit, it's still nice to appreciate the few they have. The cost of admission is veery low. Stay in the museum is nice.

What can I say in 2022 it’s a place to go not what it use to be, understandable the wild life is almost non existent but the museum has very interesting info. It’s a good trip plan ahead from Porlamar it’s about a 45 minute drive it has no parking you have to park on the street mainly safe don’t tip the guy… bathrooms are clean ticket it’s about $5. I hope this year 2022 they can reopen some shows and improve y her quality.

3 stars thanks to the marine biologist who took the trouble to serve as a guide for part of the tour, the rest would be 1 star, it is not a pleasant place to go because it does not have guides, in addition there is no good reception upon arrival, the attention is terrible.

This two-story museum, opened on November 19, 1994, has 1,000 square meters of areas for aquariums, collections, administrative offices, a conference room, storage rooms, laboratories, and bathrooms. The cost of admission is adequate for all that the museum has to offer and the funds are used to preserve the building and keep the collections in good repair. (Translated by Google) Atmospheric place. The inhabitants of the sea and the mangrove reserve are shown with love. There are a few ship models and a couple of real steering wheels. Turtles injured by motor propellers live in the pool; sailors brought them to the museum. The museum staff took them out, and those unable to return to the wild were left to live in the museum. Touching.

(Translated by Google) Excellent maintenance of the facilities, adequate prices with the services and the different samples that are offered. Yes, I can add that it would be very good to offer the service of guides who, within the museum, accompany the visitors by offering talks about the history that is handled within the museum and the fauna exhibited. As well as the history of the museum itself.
