Eden is located in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, with over 100 shops including high-end & high-street fashion and a host of dining and leisure experiences. 🏬 Eden, known more popularly as the Eden Centre, is a shopping and entertainment complex in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire in the south east of England. With a floor area of 850,000 square feet, it is the 32nd largest shopping centre in the United Kingdom and the largest in the surrounding area. The centre has 107 shops, a bowling alley, a cinema, a library (which opened on 3 June 2008), parking for 1,600 cars on site, and car parking other car parks available nearby. The complex is part of a major regeneration of High Wycombe in a bid to transform the town into a regional shopping destination. The complex includes a new bus station and 48 residential flats. The shopping centre opened on 13 March 2008, the bus station opening earlier in July 2006. Eden attracted one million visitors within two weeks of opening and regularly attracts over 350,000 visitors per week.

Nice design, layout. Wide range of shops, restaurants and cafés. Easy to find a place. Loads of security and staff to help and assist you. Car park is reasonably priced. Most shops are within good distance of each other.

Eden is never my "go-to" destination for shopping, and it feels a lot more dated than it really is. The units are quite small, and, ironically, despite being a partially open designed shopping centre, it feels rather claustrophobic. However, what makes it worse is that everything closes at 6PM. You'd think with Wycombe being a University town, they'd be open till 8PM? Better off going to the Oracle in Reading for a far better shopping experience, it's open later and has way more variety of shops.

One of the best shopping centre having a huge number of shops which mean you have a lot of quality product and a wide range of categories. I just love to spend time there visiting from one shop to other.

The best thing about High Wycombe (apart from family) is the Air Raid Shelter Cafe and Tea Room.

This place has gone down hill. Group's of kids hanging round the bike rack shouting at people. Mess outside of burger @#£% not a security person inside the Eden centre to deal with the drunks and beggers its just gone down hill badly no stars in my opinion.

Dark at night especially around near Tesco and next. Escalators are never on going up and down to the cinema. All the shops and restaurants paying decent rent and Eden centre can’t even provide the basics. It used to be a nice place but going down hill fast.

I recently visited the Eden shopping centre and overall, I had a positive experience. The shopping centre is well-maintained and clean, with a modern and inviting atmosphere. The variety of stores available cater to a wide range of interests and needs, making it a convenient place to shop. However, one noticeable downside was the number of empty shops within the centre. It was disappointing to see several storefronts vacant, which gave the impression of a lack of business activity. Upon further inquiry, I learned that the high rent prices were the main reason behind this issue. Despite this setback, the shops that were open provided a good selection of products and services. The staff members were friendly and helpful, creating a pleasant shopping experience. Additionally, the layout of the centre was well-designed, making it easy to navigate and find what I was looking for. Another positive aspect of the Eden shopping centre was the presence of various dining options. There were several restaurants and cafes to choose from, offering a diverse range of cuisines. This made it convenient to grab a bite to eat during my shopping trip. Furthermore, the shopping centre had ample parking space available, which is always a plus. It was easy to find a spot and the parking fees were reasonable, adding to the overall convenience of visiting the centre. In conclusion, despite the issue of high rent leading to empty shops, the Eden shopping centre still offers a pleasant shopping experience. The variety of stores, friendly staff, and convenient amenities make it a worthwhile destination. I hope that the management can address the high rent issue in the future to attract more businesses and further enhance the overall experience for visitors.

At the center of the town with multiple stores. It is a very big building that's beautiful as well with a serenity view from the top.

Very lovely shopping center in the center of High Wycombe. It has 9 Cafes, 9 Restaurants and 11 Food on the go. Many multiple activities and much more. I really enjoy the shopping center as everything I need is all in one place. There is also a very large multistorey paid car parking facility as well. For Mobility family members, I was able to get shop mobility sit down scooters for them to shop around. Lovely shopping center.

Nice place to shop. Something a bit different. Has toilets and a variety of shops and places to eat including a Wenzels, which unfortunately doesn’t have seating, however, there’s some seats just outside. It’s nice that they have some little shops with art activities for the children too.

This mall was built in the wrong place just because the site as vacant and cheap. It has killed the real town center and the other mall what should have been done is demolish all the old buildings North of the high st and put there with a car park with entry from the north of the town as there is not one at present.his would have really rejuvenated the area. But now we have this awful mall where shops are closing a really bad cinema the wheelchair access is so bad I just no longer go . The only reason we even set foot in there is access to Tesco . Yet another example of the bad decisions made here a 35yr old flyover that's been unsafe for years display fountains that failed inless than a week and are filled in .new seating in frogmore that have become home to all the drunks drinking there at 10,am today. spent a fortune on rerouting the traffic by the police station only to put it back last year to exactly as it was before and Eden the crowning glory of all mistakes but of course it's all ok because the tax payers can afford it

The Eden Shopping Centre seems to be mainly made up of clothes and mobile phone shops, it's a shame that Decathlon has closed, I personally feel uneasy with kids riding around on their bikes without being challenged, On a positive note the Shopping centre always manages to create a good Christmas feel during the festive season.

Decent Mall near home, play area is great for toddlers and Babies, could get crowded during busy times. Get coffee at Sam's Deli while kids are playing.

This was our first time going into Eden shopping centre car park, was great amount of parking spaces and they were adequately wide which makes a change. However we went there to go Cineworld but the lack of signposting to show where it is was frustrating. We had to end of up asking someone where it was and in the end find it ourselves which was quite a walk. The free car parking after 6pm was a good addition. 4 stars just or it would have been less.

Its a very cleaned, posh and attractive shopping center and recently its been awarded for having a very clean toilets in whole uk. I feel bad as House of Fraser is closing down.

  • 3/5 Peter F. 1 year ago on Google
Some of the shops are great, and are the only ones of their kind in the area, but it's disappointing to see some of the favourite shops closed down. Prices are quite expensive in places, and a shame to see toy stands selling toys for 5x the original price. Parking prices aren't too bad. Otherwise it is a good shopping centre.

  • 3/5 Gary A. 9 months ago on Google
Not sure how to rate shooing centres. It's ok a strange mix of old and new, run down and well kept open but a bit closed. That said just outside it is a lovely independent coffee house. Cafe Raymond,I think..that was nice.

  • 4/5 Jamjarr 1 year ago on Google
Place is a little bit of a maze to be honest. Every time I go there I get turned around. That having said, during summer, the place is brilliant. However, if you just wondering around during even mildly bad weather, it's not the best.

  • 5/5 Jeffrey P. 8 months ago on Google
Plenty of parking at not too high a price. All the usual shops plus independents either inside the centre or close by in the original high street etc. If you park your car, make a note of the car park colour you're in. Clean toilets and good signage.

I don't like shopping centres, they're too peopley. This one is OK. I guess it has a good selection of reasonably affordable shops. Plus there's a primark nearby. My kid liked the massage chairs.

  • 5/5 Ewfr '. 6 months ago on Google
Large with a good selection of stores. Easy to get to on public transport, for those of us who drive, there's a very large carpark with plenty of space (multistorey) at a reasonable price. ANPR system reads your numberplate, you drive in, do your shopping/activities then the pay point for parking is located on the ground floor of the carpark where the lifts are. Pay there, go back to your car and leave, it's as easy as that

Massive shopping centre. Bright and airy. Lots of specialist units as well as high street staples. Good range of eateries. Interesting "street food" area with three "chuck wagons". Ready access to the bus station / hub. Impact on old town centre severe. Lots of vacant units in adjoining streets.

Not a bad shopping centre to visit. In fact, I was quite pleasantly surprised. Way better than Slough. Might have to be my new go to shopping town and shopping centre. Only went because I found out there was a HMV store there. So glad to find a Sainsbury's close to the cinema and bus station.

It's OK. The town centre, in general, is not what it used to be. I very rarely visit Eden, and I only go into a few shops. I'd love to give a better review, I'm sure many others have a better experience than me, but as I say, I very rarely visit town centre anyway.

Love to go there for shopping. It is big enough, spacious and safe. Loads of different brands and nice restaurants. There is a multilevel car park in the shopping centre with the car wash inside. What I like the most that you don't need to print the ticket at the entrance to the car park. Just once you finish with your shopping, go to the pay machine and insert your registration number and you are free to go! Saves time and nerves, in case if you loose your ticket.

Eden shopping ctr is one of my favourite mall. Big, airy and clean with variety of shops and cafes. My go to is Waterstones... Neatly arranged books on the tables and shelves is a pure delight for book lovers like myself! And for those who preferred affordable fashion houses, there's Zara, River Island, New Look, Next to name a few.

Only been here once, so can't really comment on how it used to be, but seemed a bit dead, lots of shops closed or looked liked they were closing. Lots of space, which is s good thing. Felt a bit closed in, not very bright in places. Lots of parking spaces though, and easy to escape from!

  • 4/5 Edward R. 2 years ago on Google
Standard shopping centre for a town of this size. There is a fairly high turnover for the smaller units and there's always 1 or 2 empty ones. The shopping centre gets cold in the winter due to the open design so bring a jacket! It has shops covering most price ranges with a t-shirt costing £5 to £100 - depending on the shop. There are other shops within walking distance in High Wycombe that aren't part of Eden Shopping Centre (e.g. Primark in the Chiltern Shopping Centre).

  • 3/5 Brian F. 1 year ago on Google
It is a shopping mall, and like most, sadly devoid of character. The range of outlets is comprehensive, but empty sites are unattractive. Funfair rides are no substitute for personal service.

  • 4/5 Air J. 1 year ago on Google

  • 3/5 sachin p. 2 years ago on Google
Definitely not the prettiest shopping centre in the world. Also, it's horribly cold in the winter as no Sun gets in just the cold wind. The shops are good though so it's a matter of get in and get out asap.

  • 3/5 Neil M. 1 year ago on Google
Undercooked steak. No check back. No drinks offered after first ones finished. No bill presented (we paid on line) No sense of a customer service attitude. No way we will return. Other Wagamama locations so much better.

  • 3/5 Jan L. 2 years ago on Google
It's a bit of a track to get to some shops from the bus station, and as you leave the bus station be prepared to get blown to bits and soaked if it's raining, as it's completely open to the elements before you get to the covered area... Just warning you. The range of shops is rather limited and House of Frase is the only department store, which is disappointing and quite expensive.

  • 3/5 Chris O. 2 years ago on Google
Feels a bit sad. Never really flew, Half effort of a rebuild in a large population area, when it could have been linked to the 3rd shopping centre, been large, had more amenities. As is, its an expensive cinema with bad sound A bowling alley that shuts early And a lot of closed shops In bad need of investment, Wycombe could be the M40's reading, be busy, have the brands, use its high street, but that needs vision and money

If you like to move around quickly you are going to struggle inside of the Eden shopping center. Everybody walks slow, nobody sticks to the side they're supposed to walk on, and nobody seems to realise we're in the middle of a pandemic. Prepare to be in a crowded and icky situation at any second.
