It was my first time at Lewisham Shopping Centre and I was blown away, it felt like I was in a proper market in Lagos Island, Nigeria. It was so busy, they had foodstuffs lots of different chicken, fish, and beef. They had different fruits, even clothing stores both big brands and smaller one. This Shopping Centre had it all and I was wowed. I'm definitely going back there often for more shopping.

This shopping centre isnt as bad as what some of the reviews said. Its actually a good shopping centre that has all the popular shops that I usually shop at. Like the poundland, h&m, tk maxx and super drug. Yes its not that posh like the Westfield Malls but still its a decent mall to shop. I love that its really cold in this mall especially now its summer. They have one restroom which just outside the mall that is very clean too. But what we love about it is gootopia is here which my daughter loves! Also they have miniso that is very rare to see in a mall. This is very accesible too as there are a lot of bus stops outside this mall The only thing that is lacking is I hope there are restaurant options.

Lewisham is amazing, it's a place where you can see the messages of resistance everywhere. Even in the shopping centre, the expositions are about emigration and immigration and all the struggle and beauty associated with that. This is not the Britain we see in the pools, this is a more inclusive place, this is not the Britain that closes its gates and sea. Whenever someone points out that the south of London can be violent or dirty I point out that it is a place with an open heart, it is a place to escape the dullness of the homogenous white winter...I found myself in love with this place!

There are plenty of high street shopping options over here conveniently located in the town center. Additionally there is a migration museum which holds a lot of history around various businesses and a 3D art of Stella Headley which is really a hidden gem.

Fantastic place. Lewisham shopping centre is State of the art shopping place. A place you can call everything under one roof. It has every range of product. Everything and I mean everything. Household, groceries, electronics, telecommunications, banks, foods, spa, saloon, post office. Just name and you will see it there. It is sub divided into north south east and west for easy movement and easy understanding. It is well ventilated and well maintained. Of you ever want a shopping mall with all the attending paparazzi then you should visit lewishan shopping mall

About time Lewisham had a shopping mall like this! Finally! Fairly large and spacious, divided into wings: north, east, south, west, with a number of prominent and popular outlets- household and clothing (including shoes) stores and supermarkets, grocers, butchers, restaurants and the like. Not bad.

Small shopping centre. Main high street shops are here. Your eat there’s fair selection including Cafes, fish n chips, McDonald’s, Burger King. There’s also a great market for fresh fruit and veg out front which stayed open throughout the pandemic too.

Descent size shopping centre where you may find many shops and banks such as Marks & Spensers, shoezone, wilko, NatWest bank, costa coffee, post office etc. Just outside the shopping centre there are many south Asian grocery shops including meat shops.

Good selection of shops. Very disappointed that my little dog isn't permitted to be in there so had to lock her in the car and cut my trip short. It is ridiculous that my dog, who is clean and toilet trained isn't allow into a building but humans that should carry a public health warning are!!! Absolutely ridiculous. I won't be returning.

This is a big street shopping centre that's relatively cheap and packed with fresh products. You'll find most of what you're looking for here cheaper and fresher. I'm not sure if it's a farmers market but they have almost all the groceries and food from all over the world especially African and Caribbean foods. One thing to note is they only take cash. So make sure you keep cash at hand.

A strange visit today going through Lewisham Shopping Centre, as you come through from the back of the Centre halfway through is these giant slabs of concrete in the middle of the centre 🤔? I know where they come from, they used to have a notice saying they were from the ( Berlin Wall ) 😖 but that's disappeared ? Now i was in Berlin for May Day in 1977 & the pictures you see i took with a Polaroid camera from a balcony in Karl-Marx-Allee & one of the Brandenburg Gate. The irony is those " concrete blocks " were in fact a { Anti-fascist-Wall } to keep OUT Western Imperialism. But of course, now there is no German Democratic Republic 😪 & the results of so called freedom can be seen for what it is. But as is said ' what goes around comes around ' the Lewisham Shopping Centre is planned to be demolished in the next 2 years as part of the " Gentrification " of Lewisham 🤣 Good Luck 😂

I mean, we can see from the "urban wear" how many successful drug dealers we have in the borough, but all in all, decent shopping centre for a town, got all the core shops, the security guards look like they need to stay off the pies and concentrate on shoplifting. But I did see them save an old ladies life one time.

Since the improvements to the shopping centre, I must say it has been more pleasant to visit. Security still unfriendly looking but overall I'm glad the shopping centre got a much needed rebranding.

It's a bit sad and dated really! Given all the new flats being built nearby it would be great to have some upgrading...maybe childrens area, improve the decor, have some nicer shops - more independent ones and cafes - with proper meals - not just muffins and paninis but space where older people can go for lunch -build more a sense of community - the migration museum is great though - maybe more cultural things are needed - arts space, theatre or more actitivities, performances, or exhibits in the open spaces...

Locating the center from the train station is a straight walk ahead, entry from the back and front on the center. The shops are well stocked up and has an easy direction of stores placement.

No plus size shops for people. So It was of no use for me. Or other plus size people, I thought these shopping places were meant to cater for plus size people,( we are not all a size 6, and we are not all plus size due to the amount we eat,) There are many medical conditions that can cause people to be over weight and we are been discriminated against. There needs to be plus size shops YOURS, EVANS etc

I know it's controversial but it's not a bad thing this place is being torn down. It is pretty sad - basic, really. It's handy when you need to quickly grab something but you certainly don't want to spend much time there. Also, the carpark is really cramped. Why do the ramps to each level have to be so narrow?

A very busy shopping centre. It has that outside shopping feel as well! You can pretty much get anything you need! Just be careful when crossing the street as it gets really busy and crowded especially on weekends!

Market can be good for reasonably priced fresh vegetables and fruits. Downside is traffic in the area, lack of parking, air pollution and generally not clean environment.

Your average shopping centre…parking is nice but expensive for what there is. £8 for 6hours + and for lost tickets. The mall is forever changing due to lack of sales. Can’t blame them most people who are walking around aren’t really looking to buy but steal. Honestly every time I visit security always has someone by the neck. Also some stores are literal scams like the jewellery store in the middle “wild kats” selling jewellery that are 86p online but she’s selling them for £14. There is business and there is scam.

It's a nice place. The security officers are friendly, they'll give you directions when they see you're lost. The public toilets are also cleaned on a regular basis. However, the merchants who sell nuts, candy floss and slushie's can be money hungry and stingy with their portions. I wouldn't recommend buying from them. Other than that everything else is fine.

There are so many stores here which is nice and convenient. The mall itself it a bit unclean but not too bad. The market outside is very very busy at times and for some reason usually there's always people cycling on the pavement outside here so when you leave or enter the mall watch out I guess.

  • 1/5 Ruby C. 2 years ago on Google
If you find yourself here you must be lost. If you find yourself anywhere in Lewisham I hope you are on a bus or train traveling though. Lewisham is one of those places that needs to be completely flattened and we can start again

What a fantastic shop, the staff are very kind and are very helpful.I was looking for pistachios and one of the employees showed me the way in a very high manner. The shop has a lot of stock and the staff was working very hard to restock the shelves. The store is clean and tidy. It is well organized. Well done to everyone and thank you for making our shopping easier ❤️.

This shopping mall is fantastic! It has a variety of stores to suit everyone's needs, from boutiques to chains to specialty stores. The prices are often quite reasonable and there is usually something on sale. The food court has a variety of delicious options and the restaurants have a great variety of cuisine. The mall is always clean and well maintained and the staff are always friendly. It's the perfect place to find something for everyone in the family. Highly recommended!

I really like this shopping centre. It is never too busy and fairly clean. It is all on one level and there is a good range of shops available. It would be helpful if there were maps throughout the centre to see which shops are where, or a help desk of some sort for information. I often struggle to remember exactly where different shops are within the centre.

"Lewisham Shopping Centre offers a convenient and diverse shopping experience. With a wide range of stores, from well-known brands to local boutiques, it caters to various preferences. The food court provides a decent selection of dining options, though it can get crowded during peak hours. Parking facilities are available but can be limited. Overall, it's a decent spot for shopping, dining, and spending time, particularly for those in the local area."

Lovely shopping centre we come from East London to some shopping for clothes, variety of shops like Next, Primark, Boots. Very good sales during Christmas time. Outside has all the high st shops too and food shops. There’s a market outside with all sorts of clothes fruit and veg stalls and there’s a man that sells knock off replica perfumes outside about 4/5 perfumes for £20.

This, like many shopping Malls, has not really recovered from Covid. Several shops are empty, and those that are there continue to struggle. Boot's is always nearly empty when I am there (mid-week, not weekend). Sainsbury's is a little better, but has lost its pre-Covid vibrancy. The only places that seem to be doing OK are the cafés. It is still worth a visit for the car parking, toilets, and a hot drink and a cake after a visit to the outdoor market.

A very busy environment. Haven't been there for many years and really it hasn't changed. I never liked it back then and I still don't. It felt dirty, and outside it was full of nicotine where people were smoking in the entrance making it hard to breathe, especially if you already suffer with a breathing defect. So, to be honest unless you really need to go there. Don't! Sorry lewisham.

No mans land basically.. people running around on bikes or scooters, dogs and smoking is allowed inside.. no one bothers to maintain order, I guess because it's up for demolition soon, no wonder why.

No many shops compared to the more modern ones these days. Most of the main high street shops can be found here. Needs a good lick of paint in my opinion.

  • 4/5 Sriramulu T. 2 months ago on Google • 5 reviews New
The open market is interesting with some good buys as well as rubbish sold by the bucket! There is a fabric shop too Sakthi’s. Indian food is no match to East Ham!! I seldom go into the shopping centre!

Shopping Centre looks modern and easy to get to by DLR, Bus and road. There is parking for shoppers. There are more shops outside the centre on the high st with a selection of market stalls.

  • 4/5 Shereen B. 1 year ago on Google
It’s okay, not the place to go as a woman if you need an outfit for a special occasion, unless you can work with TK Maxx or H&M. There’s an M&S but even the staff in there say the clothes selection is poor. Household shops are decent like Wilko & the Sainsburys is decent.

We had to call into M&S to pick up some premature baby grows after our daughter went into labour earlier than expected. We drove up from Devon, unsure of where we had to go, we had the dog in the car, so took him with us into the shopping centre. My husband waited for me to pop into M&S to pick up the sleepsuits, and was accosted by two horrific security men, who frog marched him out of the centre, with no idea where he was or how to get to me or the car. He rang me and we arranged to meet by the lift so we could get back to our car, only to be accosted yet again by two horrible men. We tried to explain our situation, but they were very aggressive, and to be honest we were thought they were going to assault us. Truly horrible place, I hope I never have to return.

  • 5/5 Abdul J. 2 years ago on Google
Went there for M&S and to buy me some trainers. I found a wide range of stores with different brands and lots of products. I was amazed and was actually a struggling to choose from the different options. So I just went to sports direct and also purchased from other stores within the Lewisham Shopping Centre. So if you are shopping for wide range of products then you have found that place. Thanks

The potential is there to make this a great shopping centre. It's just that the mall hasn't changed for decades which means it looks outdated. Nonetheless, there is a TK Maxx, M&S, H&M, Foot Locker and a bunch of other shops including an outdoor market. The shopping centre is decent but it's certainly not something to write home about. The owners need to modernise it. I gave it 3 stars because its been the same since the first time I went there in 1999 despite the regeneration going on in the area.

  • 4/5 Kalyan K. 1 year ago on Google
Very good shopping mall with almost all the major brands in UK. Tkmax, H&M, Marks & Spencer's, Sainsburys TKMax has lot of collections than any other branches here. Very good shopping mall at reasonable prices.

  • 5/5 Dutty J. 1 year ago on Google
The shopping centre actually well looked after. There is rarely any trouble, which is surprising for Lewy, but the security are really observant. It has all the shops I need, without selling out and becoming to commercial. The added workshops, Immigration Museum and local enterprise shops make it a cultural hub too.

  • 4/5 S G. 1 year ago on Google
I have been going there since I was a little girl. It's changed abit but there are some long standing shops like marks and Spencer, the works, boots and Argos. Affectionately called the precinct. At least by everyone I know. Has parking available and is close to main highstreet. Right in the centre of Lewisham.

  • 4/5 Nick G. 1 year ago on Google
It’s getting better but feels like only a matter of time til it is removed and replaced as part of the Lewisham Gateway. Like many town centre shopping malls, it is a tale of two ends - arrive on the bus at the southern end and you’d be forgiven for thinking it was dead. Arrive at the North from the train station that it’s a discount mall, and in the middle to a relatively light and modern space with fresh pretzels, a cafe and the usual suspects. There’s a dated Sainsburies but a fresh M&S, Starbucks, H&M and more. JD Sports and the usual handful of mobile stores. Nothing unique but that’s to be expected - though you can within a short space find budget and high street options right next to a thriving market. Been using it for years but more as a local than a destination. Typically coming to visit a bank or something by necessity and then doing a little shopping. Doesn’t hurt that there’s a McD’s and Burger King on the Eastern edge.

Good for a local shop, but needs allot more shops and things to do to be considered as a shopping centre in my book. Going there is like going to the corner shop but under one roof with more shops. Nothing exciting.

It's nice for any kind of shopping as it has farmers market outside and outlets inside the mall The BIG negative is the parking. Now that everyone had big cars, the parking damages the tyres as its very narrow. Also the toilets are basic and outside which isn't very convenient.

  • 4/5 Dirk S. 1 year ago on Google
A few years back it was quite dingy but I think it's vastly improved since then. It contains the usuals of Boots, Costa and Argos, but there's also a very large H&M with quite a good selection. Five minutes walk from the DLR, close to the buses and the market is right outside
