The largest mall in Sussex. The county mall in Crawley has two car parks, north and south. South has better access to shops. There are plenty of shops outside the mall too, within a few minutes walk

It awesome. Will love to do shopping here. You will be able to find every kind of clothes, shoes and other accessories here. The parking is a minimum charge of £2.50, a bit steep of you only intend to visit one store as I did. Some of the escalators were not working and there was no signage from the car park to inform you of this before walking through and reaching them, at that point there is no other option but to head back.

Got a good selection of shops but the car parking is overpriced and not convenient to use as north forces a not as useful left turn and the ramps on both sides are in awful condition on floors 3 and 4 - only when going down too so you dont know when you go to those floors. For the parking price this is atrocious and according to one of the stafff its been this way for years so its clearly been deliberately left

County Mall is great it has most of what you need all under one roof, including many shops, food courts children's play area, cash machines, cafes and cake stores. The variety is great and staff in a majority of the shops are helpful and kind, I'm sure the others are to but I haven't been in them. There's a great size carpark, and everything is connected by lifts, stairs and escalators. Friendly for pushchairs and wheelchair users. Great all round.

It is an okay mall. Moderate in size and has a few decent shops. It has a good location in the town centre so the surrounding shops helps to compliment it. It has free toilets (not always in the best condition) and a decent enough food court (albeit small). If you’re in the town centre it’s worth popping in but I wouldn’t drive in especially to visit here unless it had a specific shop you wanted. Parking prices are okay and there always seems to be enough spots (roof is always empty worst case)

Enjoy shopping here. Travel here instead of Brighton despite Brighton being closer to me. Better choice of shops, cheaper parking. Only 4 stars because I always feel like I'm in Hogwarts with the moving staircases and i get lost. I swear the escalators change direction and it seems to take me forever to work out which end I need to be at depending on where I've parked!

We urgently needed something and got what we needed. It’s a beautiful, not so small mall but they have every practical things that one would need and so much more. We had a pleasant experience.

In all honesty, The county mall is one of the drabbest malls I have ever been to. There is no character to the place at all. Only went to the Mall to get some chocolate for my wife at Hotel Chocolat. Hotel Chocolat is a nice shop but it is in the wrong place. Soon as I bought my stuff, I had to leave the mall ASAP.

It’s one of the nicest place to shop in Crawley. There is primark , next , body shop , and other primary store. It also have post office. It also have a quite clean public toilets. If you are fan of bubble tea it also have a bubble tea store. It’s quite a happening place in Crawley .

County Mall Shopping Centre is a delight with its array of lovely shops and well-thought-out layout. However, the limited number of lifts, just two serving the entire mall, poses a challenge, especially during busy times. For those with wheelchairs or prams, queuing for the lifts becomes a potential inconvenience. Even if you opt for the stairs, it leads to an area with no shops. Despite this setback, the diverse shopping options and layout make it a worthwhile destination.

The food court section is nice. The elevators are annoying as sometimes you have on going up but have to walk several yards to get to the one going down. Make sure you note where you parked and you keep the ticket as you need it to exit

Slowly started getting back to life after the pandemic. But now made virtually impossible to get into because of the road works going on in Crawley town centre. The shops had very few people in them as a result. Otherwise, good variety of shops and still worth a visit 3 stars because of the roadworks and cost of parking is way too high. I was in there for 30mins and it cost £2.50 Navigating or the carpark is confusing and could be better sign posted.

A lot of shops, various prices, social distance is relatively respected. It's good you have pretty few restaurants/different food. Good for all kind of shopping for adults, elderly, kids or toddlers.

Amazing. Lots of space for parking no matter what time of day. And so many shops inside and on the campus it's massive. I shop here alot and for around 6hrs you pay around £3 which is cheap as chips .

Decent sized with a fairly good range of shops. Seems stupid to have 2 Costa’s in there. The fair end where Debenhams used to be kinda feels abandoned but partly due to less footfall that end because of no entrance. Not many closed stores to nice to see that shops are surviving. Has a big boots and primark if that’s your thing

Ever wanted to go shopping stress free? We have online shopping. Glad this generation has online shopping, stress free and no need to pay for parking. And won't get parking charges against you if you over stay. You won't feel like you have to pay extra to spend your hard earned money. these places are slowly getting over run by abundance of coffee shops and vape shops. It's so easy to shop online these days and these places just no longer make people feel the need to go anymore. Good luck with the future county mall. 👍

This modern shopping centre has a variety of clothes and fashion shops mixed in with several places to eat. Set over 2 floors, the size of the County Mall Shopping Centre is a great positive as this creates an excellent shopping experience. We visited during December 2021 and were thrilled to see the huge and bright Christmas decorations decked throughout the high ceilings and walls. The centrepiece tree was stunning. This is certainly the best of the shopping centres found in LondonGatwick.

The big front facing store that was once Debenhams still lies vacant and is a bit of an indicator of where the high street has been headed. The Mall was fairly busy when I visited; most stores where tidy and the Mall facilities were clean. Just not enough variety really. It would be nice to one day see shopping centres make a comeback.

Accessibility: Most, if not all, shops are reasonably accessible with level access and enough space for a wheelchair. Most also have smooth, solid floors. One or two have carpet. The walkways between shops are wide and the layout is simple. There are multiple lifts available in shops (including Boots, Primark, Next) and two lifts in the middle that go to both shopping levels and to all the car park levels. The middle lifts can get crowded at times. There are 3 entrances. One by the bus stops with a ramp on the inside. One by the outside shops which is level inside and out until you reach the hill the shops are on. And one leading to the park which has steps inside and out and a ramp inside and out. The ramps are a little bit steep and you do need to cross between the two sets of stairs to use the ramps. All entrances usually have a double door that's left open or automatic doors. There are disabled toilets in the food court and on the lower floor by the exit (and other toilets). The disabled toilet in the food court is very small and awkward. The 2 disabled toilets on the lower floor are large enough to transfer and turn comfortably in a wheelchair. The doors are on opposite sides of a short corridor and can open wide. They have easy to grab locks and handles. The female toilets on the ground floor also have large cubicles for push chairs etc. There are baby change rooms at both the food court and lower level.

Its great to have a shopping mall like this around. Personally, I like the current variety of the different brands. It’s not a huge one but fairly enough by the size of it. You can enjoy your weekend with variety of fairly different brands from clothes, shoes to watches… and finish up with nice coffee or meal. Also the location of this place very close to the other street shops so nice place and town centric close distance to reach.

Nice place to shop. But might I suggest if like me you are a wheelchair user and need to go to the upper level, use the lifts in either Primark or boots. I find the glass lifts take so long and are such a faff.

The County Mall! Its a shame whats happened to the place over the years. It used to be a good place to spend money. High rent, lack of variety and the increase in Internet Shopping has hurt the mall. Still a nice place to go to sometimes though.

Lots of pluses for this mall, namely a Primark, which was clean and orderly (unlike Brighton's, which is a mess), and a new B&M store. It was an interesting visit, but I won't be back too soon.

  • 3/5 Alan M. 6 months ago on Google
A suitable and large shopping center with many shops and different brands. If you go, be sure to try the bubble tea. Also, the Primark store, of course, has incomplete products and does not have all sizes. Also, McDonald's is located on the upper floor, which has coffee and good food, and parking on 3 separate floors, which is not free, but always has space, even on holidays.

Limited lifts when you park in disabled space and mother's and toddlers are on same floor .very long wait for the two lifts to appear .when they did they were already full up . Shouldn't of done away with the central escalators would have give a choice for those who would be happy to go down them .

It has almost all stores that you would normally expect. Of course doesn’t include big ones like ikea, John Lewis etc. but pretty decent to cater for day to day needs. Also has a dancing water fountain for kids in summer.

Came to do some Christmas shopping. The centre itself is fairly clean with necessary facilities, and it was thankfully warm on a freezing cold day. Some updates are needed to the signage to reflect the shops that are now in place, and get rid of out to date directions to retailers like Debenhams and suchlike. It has a limited range of shops. If you’re looking for a larger Next or Primark, you’ll find plenty of stock here.

I like the place generally. Good place to shop with wide variety of stores. Primary there is very good for instance. Safe shopping with good mall security helpful. Excellent big Boots here. Staff very nice. I enjoy going in there. Always useful for the public loos as well. Although the downstairs gents needs a lot of remedial works to bring it back to acceptable. The upstairs loos off the food hall area are cleaner and better maintained it seems to be.

There's a few stores here that I love & the reason that I came, but the mall itself is very sparse and bland. They need some colour and music, add some life to their stores and create a nice ambience! Clean bathrooms, and they have what you need, but definitely needs some more life and pizzazz.

  • 5/5 Leah S. 1 year ago on Google
Gets busy sometimes, recommended to go earlier if you'd like something that runs out of stock frequently as happens with in many of the shops in the mall. Recommended as there is a food court with a costa and few other areas.

My Dad has walking problems. We were hungry. After I realised I had parked far away from the food court, we got back in the car and parked closer. We got out of the car oark and into the mall but there was only 1 escalator going the opposite way. Then after that there was another going the wrong way. It's like a game where you have to figure out how to get down to the main part. Not cool!

Parked in South entrance, plenty of space for parent parking. Was nice and cool in county mall. Lots of different shops, my only cristism is that there was only 1 lift working to get to parking levels. Waited about 10mins for the lift to get back to my car. Didn't visit toilets, but clearly sign posted as to whee they are.

  • 4/5 Carly T. 9 months ago on Google
You would get 5 stars if superdry didn't deafen me when I walk past. Not a shop I want to go into purely because they blast out awful music and I'm surprised the landlords tolerate it.

  • 1/5 Julia B. 6 months ago on Google
This place is torture for anyone with a pram, there’s only been one lift working for ages now. Today I was stuck waiting in the heat with two screaming kids for 20 mins as it was so busy in the lift and it kept not stopping on way down. And so many people who are able to walk waiting and not clear where stairs are. There are good things about the centre but this completely over rides anything positive.

The mall has a decent layout for parking, parent and child and with disabled parking are all on one level. Has a Wide variety of shops including a few local traders based in the mall. Easy access from the bus station and not far from CRAWLEY train station. Food court has a reasonable selection but there are plenty more options surrounding the mall. Round the back is a decent sized play area, my 2 love it there, also joins the memorial Gardens green area. great to sit in when the weather is lovely. All in all the mall is a great place to go and easily spend a few hours shopping.

A quite plain design and far from new but very well lit and feels open and airy. Reasonable parking rates and easy to both park and then access the shops. Not usually that bothered by shopping malls but I like this one

Mall is really good with the shops. Parking charges is very high. Parking should be free initial few hours for the shoppers. Toilets are not in a great conditions in term of cleanness.

Pandemic hit hard in this place. Less variety of clothing than it used to. Toilets smell most of the time. They look outdated and constantly dirty. Baby changing facilities are a disgrace. Standards are very low.

Just a shadow of its former self, sadly. The loss of Debenhams has had a noticeable impact on both the footfall and the feel of the place. Hopefully, another big store will be able to fill that gaping hole and bring some joy back to shopping there.

We had to go to the post office, the first lady who helped was so friendly. When we went back after having the most disappointing bacon sandwich from a Cafe close to the post office, a few shops down on the left as you leave, we headed back there as we forgot something and where helped by another member of staff who was rude, and stairs at you blankly, my husband and self had to ask him about three times for what we where looking for before answering us in a tone that a customer serverer should be using.

I was in Crawley mall with two of my friends and we got kicked out for something we did not do when we were escorted out by security guards one of them was verbally abusing us I have a video proof with his face. Bearing in mind we are 14 year old girls it’s not right for members of ur staff to be verbally assaulting us....

Like so many shopping malls, this one is struggling to draw customers in. With Debenhams gone, three floors are empty, doesn't look as if they will be let any time soon. The shops that remain do a good job, but it is sad to see so few customers inside. People used to come here from surrounding areas, and I'm hoping that now Covid restrictions are being relaxed, they will return. But the owners need to rethink - if the only stores they have are the same stores as elsewhere, why would people bother? Yes, they're all in one building, but does it do enough to attract? Reducing the cost of parking would help. The supermalls like Bluewater don't charge a penny and yes, I understand the difference: crawley mall is in town, people could park and use it to visit outside shops, diluting the purpose of trying to attract to the shops IN the mall. But reducing the price of parking would go a long way to bringing customers from out of town. And why not have a unit that is divided into four or six smaller businesses? It would be great to see quirky/interesting shops, rather than the national shoos that are in there. The rent split could attract businesses that couldn't otherwise afford to be in the mall, and you could end up with a much more attractive mix of shops, to the benefit of all the businesses, with more people coming in, and the mall owners with rent paid. To be honest, it's a little depressing to go in there at the moment, with all the empty units. Time for the owners to be radical and make it an exciting and attractive shopping mall, that is different from all the others? Fingers crossed...

Serves a purpose. Distinct lack of shops now, more suited to seasonal pop up stores. Large selection of coffee, fast food & hairdressers, if that’s your thing. Parking isn’t free, which is questionable. Distinct lack of child friendly parking spaces. With Debenhams missing from the largest plot & this remaining empty, it feels like a ghost town.

The choice of shops and places to eat/drink are really good. And I love the special events they carry out. BUT this is the least accessible friendly shopping mall I've been in. One set of 2 lifts serving car park and both floors. If you have a pushchair or wheelchair be prepared for a long wait. There seems to be no logic to how the lifts travel between floors Today I waited 15 mins for a lift on arriving to get from car park. If those lifts were to break pushchair and wheelchair users would not be able to get between car park and shops.
