Abysmal, used to be a great little shopping center although it's always been pretty useless for men's clothes but it's just charity shops and empty stores now. Other large towns like Kingston seem to be rebounding and filling their empty stores but The Heart is litteraly a center slowly dying which is a shame.

Easy to park nearby and has a decent selection of sensible shops :-) Spend a tenner in Sainsbury’s while visiting and get a few hours of free parking as well ;) Adam

So many excellent shops and dining options. Recently visited while passing through the area and was pleasantly surprised with the variety of different activities available. Have already recommended to many friends!

Nicely decorated for Christmas . But it's not a big shopping centre . Only few brands on there.

Sadly seeing a huge decline in stores in the centre. Many of the empty stores being taken over by a very overpriced charity.

Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to reply. This is because it is a shame to see how many shops have closed and have been empty for a long time. It would be nice to see the shopping centre flourish again

Its not really what I would class as a shopping centre. It has very few actual retail shops but instead has a couple of beauty places and empty spaces and seems more like a passageway from the high Street to Costa or sainsbury. I went through it twice and both times it was almost empty in the center and the shops and apart from the ladies talking while they waited for any custom in the beauty shop, it was dead quiet. No music or material touches to make it bright and engaging....just bland and cold atmosphere

Barely any shops, depressing, charity shops in a shopping centre is a joke. Don’t even bother clothes shopping here anymore I just go to Kingston

It's a shame that so many of the shops are empty creating a cold atmosphere, it feels like a short cut to the high street.

The Heart Shopping centre, is currently a little sparse, but encouragingly there are new shops replacing the ones which were forced to close, every time I've visited more recently. Definitely, the centre has a bit more 'atmosphere' since the new retail outlets have set up, so, improving all the time...👍

Pathetic shopping centre now, so many empty units , I miss H&M adults and H&M kids , river island, Gap, paperchase , Rituals , Johnson’s, Clinton’s , bodyshop, 1955 club and Debenhams and there is more. I walked through the other day and just could not believe how many empty shops there are inside and outside. I would never choose to shop in Walton now as I can’t get half of the bits I would need for my family, there is a real lack of anything to be honest. Also sports direct never have anything in stock shoe size wise they just tell you to order them online as they don’t have them in the store , I have been in there on 5 occasions and every time you pick a trainer they say they don’t have that size in stock , so I have given up now. I miss the good old days when I could get everything I needed in walton , I remember being able to do all my Christmas shopping in less than a day in walton as the selection of shops was great , now it’s just a joke!!! Also the escalator from the car park is always not working! House of Tweed - what is the point?? I have been past on 4 occasions all at different times of the day when all the other shops are open and it has been closed every time!!!

Nice small shopping centre all on one level few decent shops and restaurants Need to sort out lifts most time at least one is out of order and as for parking plenty spaces(even though about 20 bays closed of for no reason)but no attendance so some parking in adult and child spaces when clearly no children also disabled bays when no disability or displaying blue badge.

  • 3/5 GMaN G. 6 months ago on Google
Not many shops are available. Lovely area and for the surrounding housing prices, you would expect more higher end shops than the likes of H&M, and sports direct etc.

  • 3/5 Tony B. 1 year ago on Google
Nice little selection of shops but quite a few were shut before midday which was strange

  • 3/5 Rebecca H. 1 year ago on Google
Yeah. It's OK. Most shops are taken by one charity, which is great but they are never open. A few shop spaces change owner frequently. Honestly. I rarely go in there for anything except the Poundshop.

  • 4/5 Paul D D. 1 year ago on Google
Decent enough, but filled with 'lifestyle' shops promising to make you look, feel, smell and be perfect. Other than Poundland I can honestly say there was nothing I could relate to. And what on earth is Bubble Tea???

  • 5/5 Paul D. 1 year ago on Google
Decent enough, but full of lifestyle shops offering an experience. Although Poundland is very useful

  • 2/5 Muhammad El M. 1 year ago on Google
Some nice stuff but could be better. Not sure where’s best to park don’t like sainsburys.

  • 5/5 FAMOUS G. 5 months ago on Google

  • 3/5 janet m. 1 year ago on Google
Sad to see empty shops, too many coffee shops and charity shops surrounding the Heart, we really need some decent shops to shop in! I really miss a good department store that offers quality bedding, kitchenware, clothing, gifts etc., we have too many low end suppliers in this area, so depressing to walk down the high street...

  • 5/5 Meltem H. 1 year ago on Google
It is a small shopping centre but has the main stores enough for supplying your needs. there is a booksrore, poundland, couple of clothing stores, coffee shops, charity shop and even a beauty salon inside this little mall. It has wheelchair accesiblity.

  • 3/5 Toby 1 year ago on Google
Not really many shops at all . Hard to see it as a shopping centre when you have peacocks in Woking elmsleigh in staines and bentalls all within driving distance .

  • 5/5 David N. 1 year ago on Google
Easy parking. Lots of places to eat. Best steak House nr by as well. Good size sainsburys and lots of other niche shops.

  • 5/5 Geeta B. 6 years ago on Google
If you want to have a quiet shopping day out, not too much crowded but have enough chooses to shop or to eat then The HEART in Walton is your place.

  • 2/5 Anna D. 5 months ago on Google
Because it is gost town I been leaving at walton on-thames for 50 years but I never seen so many shops close and the centre were nice when was done but not now any more very sad 😢

  • 5/5 Keith R. 9 months ago on Google
Great shopping centre. However awkward to get to Sainsburys. Don't do as I did and stupidly walked around the building then ending up in the car park.

Very well laid out with a great selection of shops and very reasonably priced parking

  • 2/5 Beatrice H. 9 months ago on Google
Not much to see or shop. Car park seems to belong to sainsbury's anyway. Not many shops, the Heart is a Food court, that's all it is.

Most shops occupied which is remarkable these days. One shop is currently being occupied by a vaccination station. My husband just walked in for his a flu vaccine without an appointment. Very friendly people and very welcoming.

Slowly running out of shops worth visiting but lots of parking and nice restaurants.

  • 4/5 Tina 2 years ago on Google
It's a shopping centre. What can I say? Some shops I like, some I don't. The place is clean.... But it needs a Primark... Seriously, it does. Walton on Thames is not all full of wealthy affluent people a lot of us financially challenged folk live here too. 4 stars cos no Primark but it would've been only three had their not been a Waterstones, which there is.

  • 4/5 Anthony S. 2 years ago on Google
It was OK, not many shops. There was a street market on at the time I visited which was nice.

  • 3/5 BlockVids & M. 1 year ago on Google
so sad to see so many shops empty, there used to be so many small boutique clothing shops on the outside walk bit towards debenhams, and the indoor shopping centre has empty units as well, shopping 10 years ago was still better because you had debenhams, gap, river island, dorothy perkins. I bet they're just gonna be replaced with american candy stores, restaurants, vape shops and cheap tat foreign shops, nothing but dull and miserable, too bad the rents are too high.

  • 4/5 Carolyn H. 2 years ago on Google
Fair selection of shops in the centre. Lovely small cinema. Rush hairdressers very good.

  • 5/5 Claire W. 2 years ago on Google
A lovely Centre with a good variety of shops. In recent months they've welcomed new retailers including Sports Direct which is a fantastic addition to the Centre.

We were very happy to see that on the day we visited the parking was free ! But on the down side only 1 off the 3 lifts were working . It was very busy my husband is disabled so the lift status really spoilt the experience .

Good selection of shops, very spacious and safe.

As fantastic before COVID but not worth the trip now H&M, The Body Shop and Debenhams have closed. Very sad Loads of places to eat which is a plus

Nice easy walk through undercover shopping area. Such a shame so many shops have gone, also outside the centre. Maybe things will pick up! Large Next, Monsoon, etc. Park in Sainsbury's nearby.

  • 5/5 Ian A. 2 years ago on Google
Great shopping centre, we parked in the multi storey car park and got the lift down to the shops. There happened to be an outdoor market, which had several stalls selling a variety of products.

  • 4/5 Ashley J. 2 years ago on Google
Cannot fault the shops within the centre; Sainsbury's has access to certain products my local supermarket doesn't stock. Dislike the bubble tea shop, but for no truly good reason, beyond my own allergies to virtually every variety they offer...

  • 4/5 Charles H. 2 years ago on Google
Very impressive and still boasts a Monsoons now that many have closed. Large Sainsbury's nearby and great choice of local restaurants.

  • 5/5 Yusuf A. 2 years ago on Google
This is one of the top shopping malls in London, with several stores selling items ranging from household gloceries, wears, electronics, kitchen utensils and other products. They have other branches known to be strategically located at the heart of most town centres in London to serve people in that area.

  • 5/5 Tracey M. 2 years ago on Google
Very quiet, but alot of shop/units closed down, but nice and clean and a lovely seating area in the middle,

  • 4/5 S B. 2 years ago on Google
Lovely clean and actually fairly new shopping mall but moreso a strip of indoor shops and a mini shopping mall. Some decent shops inside too especially Johnsons the shoe shop just to name one.

  • 5/5 Freya O. 1 year ago on Google
Large variety of shops as well as plenty of parking and dining options! Love this shopping centre.

  • 3/5 David L. 1 year ago on Google
So sad to see many of the stores closed and it was so quiet that the others are likely to follow soon. Parking should be easier and free to raise the footfall. We used to be able to park on the high street until they messed it all up with so many restrictions. Shame.

Truely disappointed in gymfinity Walton.. I brought my nanny child along to a taster session here. There was absolutely no structure to the baby class, the girl running the group was just sat on her behind most the session and hardly interacted with any of the babies trialing the session. As a nanny that’s been to a few gym groups this was my least favourite and I won’t recommend them they need to start to bring some kind of structure to their classes Also my nanny child got bored because she started crying, she has more fun with me at home!
