Nice little shopping centre, not a huge choice store wise but good enough. Has two storey parking with plenty of spaces as well as motorcycle parking. Parking is paid by hour. Lifts and escalators are available. Also has an Amazon locker.

It’s not possible that a mall close just at 5:30!!

A good shopping centre. There plenty of variety in the shops on offer. If you do not find what your looking for in the centre there are some well known names and independent shops on Stortford High Street has a nice buzz.

Nice small shopping centre, not a lot in it but there is a large Sainsbury's

Bring yourself over to this gorgeous shopping mall where you'll find a myriad of choices for retail therapy. Parking is £1ph but spend a fiver at Sainsbury's and they'll refund you £2 off your parking tariff. Take a leisurely stroll, window shop if you like, sit down for a natter and a cuppa. All in all, it's a great time out, especially when you drop in at 'eat 17'. A beautiful food court that presents a relaxed space to rest your feet and have a nibble or a drink.

I hope 2024 is better for Jackson Square. A little lack lustre and empty shops. Maybe if the shareholders lowered their rent it may bring in more buisness...for all

I wasn't too impressed after a Sunday afternoon shopping, We had parked in the top car park with a 1 year old and 5 year old in tow, finished in the town at 4.15 and were unable to use the elevator to get to the top floor as the doors were all locked into the square. Surely it would be better to keep them open for a while after the shops close? Fortunately, there were 2 of us, and I could carry the buggy up the car park stairs, but somebody on their own with shopping and a buggy would really struggle.

Small shopping center, but the shops inside are good

Lacking not only in brands but with character. The centre 20 years ago was smaller but seemed more inviting. Some work to be done to improve on the sterile hospital like centre

It seems like we've been shopping in a building site for the past 12 months. More should have been done to offer QD. Stores an alternative site, we lost a good shop. Sadly over the past 20 years we have lost so many decent stores in the town. Too many coffee places and restaurants. By the amount of people you encounter in Jackson Square and the town there are a lot who prefer purchasing direct from shops. I personally dislike ordering an item online and then sitting about all the next day waiting for the delivery driver to call.

Its like somthing out of 1980's. All shops are just so bloody boring. And that car wash buiness is a joke. I drop my car off only to return to find some gypsie driving it around the car park reving tge engine.

Good variety of shops. Well maintained. Parking with escalators to shopping centre.

Decent midsized mall. It has a Sainsbury’s supermarket, a few clothes shops, Wilko, Starbucks, and a few other small shops. There are a few spots where it seems there are vacancies or new stores being built. The south exit has an interesting automatic ramp going up two stories instead of an escalator. It’s a bit slow if you’re walking but useful if you’re using a shopping trolley to take things to your car in the car park. Note that the car park is free after a certain time in the evening — check the signage. I accidentally paid after the applicable time.

Small shopping centre with known high street names. Currently has a large empty space due to the demise of Wilko. Shops close very early during the week.

Very busy. Good range of shops. Not easy to work ticket machine in car park when your not a regular customer.

Town centre parking. Well placed but the ticket machines are a nightmare. Impenetrable instructions, buttons that are worn out and barely work, then the system doesn't recognise your card. Appalling system. Thankfully we may never have to use it again.

clean, modern and empty. Theres very little going on here. Only a handful of shops. The big players have skipped thid location. Shame as the high street seems popular

  • 5/5 Rob B. 1 year ago on Google
Must say this was made all the better for the ticket machine ls not working so we had free parking, which will not be the case ever again. Put easy to find, use and navigate

I was visiting Jackson Square in Bishop's Stortford! It's a shame that Sports Direct has closed down. I reckon the high rent in the area might have played a role in that. In my opinion, it would be better to develop an indoor social space that can also generate commercial benefits from passenger traffic instead of keeping prices high. It could be a great way to encourage people to spend more time in the area and attract more businesses to the square.

Nice centre with good staff presence and choice of shops.

Good place to visit. Good shops. The square is kept very clean by the cleaners but the tiles on the floor are so well polished they can be very slippery. I've slipped on them frequently but luckily not fallen. A friend of mine has had the same problem with slipping on the well polished floor. So the floor can be dangerous as it's so well polished. If an older person falls over they could be seriously injured

Very clean, decent variety of shops like Wilko Sports direct etc. Plenty to keep you busy. Also the car park is brilliant links to your registration and the prices are very affordable considering. 4 hours was only £2.90. Cannot complain at that whatsoever! Lifts and escalators for easy access too.

Immaculately clean, well lit & providing a good selection of stores as well as places to sit/rest/reflect. Security staff visible almost constantly, always looks a little bare when there are no stalls in the centre isle. Can't wait for busier periods like Halloween/Christmas/Easter when the seasonal stalls are there.

Came into the square today security team kept on saying that the store was closed but there was still 10 minutes left and she wasn't even the manager has I was going into Wilko not Sainsbury's and I see her working there but who just she think she is! I think she work in Sainsbury's and security but she needs to stop

Nice bright clean centre with a good range of shops and hardly any vacant units. Plus it joins the high street with the car parking without a long walk back

It used to be very good. Lots going on. Now looks dreadful and I don't think the rebuilding proposed. It was the heart of the town. No longer that now and too many eateries. We need proper shops.

  • 1/5 Lee W. 11 months ago on Google
The introduction of Sunday parking charges with no rebate opportunity is quite scandalous. I can see why the car park and the shops were relatively empty. In an age where I thought councils were actively trying to drive customers back to town centres, this is such a backward step when there are so many other shopping opportunities in retail parks where parking is free. Tory Britain. Rotten to its core.

High standard Wetherspoon, 15 minutes away from Stansted. Instead of waiting for someone on the airport you can come here and grab a pint. It's very lively.
