I have always been a big fan of Shopping Malls and Centres, for obvious reasons. Fareham is certainly no exception with a wide selection of top shops all in one place underneath the same roof. Makes things very warm and cosy. Like a glowing winter's fireplace perhaps. Most of the service from the staff is very helpful and friendly and the public in the Mall are also friendly and well catered for.

The shopping was great. I achieved all I set out to do. This is not the shopping centres fault but heading south out of Market quay to Gosport took 20 minutes at 16.00 on a Saturday, ridiculous? But the shopping centre was great.

There is so little left of what used to be a very busy shopping centre and town in general. It is a shame to see what it's become. I'd definitely advise you to skip it if you're looking for men's clothing.

I like this shopping centre and visiting frequently. There could be a better range of shops. Its a shame that larger shops have pulled out of being there. I will like Fareham more than Gosport

Fareham shopping centre is quite a pleasant place to shop. It is spacious, clean including the toilets and plenty of benches dotted around. But as is now common in most retail malls, I am guessing about a third of the units are empty. It is a shame but that is the times that we now live. But a short walk takes you down to the Riverside where it is quite lovely to stroll and relax.

This is the first time I have been in this Fareham Precinct in years. What a great experience, spotlessly clean everywhere, a good variety of shops, fantastic coffee area and a really good atmosphere. Can't wait to ho back again.

Suffering from the loss headline shops. Large empty sites. (Beales. Debenham.) Very quiet. Need to find new uses or will close and be replaced by flats !

This makes me sad. I have lived in Fareham my whole life and as a teenager enjoyed going to the shopping centre at weekends and after school with my friends. I only now go if I absolutely have to. Whilst everything is kept clean there is no investment here and the selection of shops are awful. Yes times have changed and online shopping is now part of daily life but it doesn't have to be. I don't know how much it costs to rent one of the properties in the centre but I'm guessing pretty high if you can't attract decent companies like Whiteley has. If anyone of importance is reading this... Please do something about it!!

Sorely underappreciated asset. Even with a large number of empty units it is still kept clean and tidy. They should definitely consider giving an hour's free parking in the 'almost always empty' multi-storey car park to encourage more visitors.

Nice place with a lot of shops but the highlight of the shopping centre is the ping pong parlour. Walk in and play table tennis for free in a civilised environment. Can't ask for much more!

Fareham is a dead wasteland. Anything that was any good has now closed. Sure if yih need a boots or want to pop to specs avers it is handy, sure but as a place to actually shop you would do better to save your fuel and parking or head out to the city.

The place looks a little less vibrant than I remember a few years ago. The main players are still there (Boots etc.) but there are quite a few empty shops now. The multi-story parking is a reasonable price with good access and you can get through to the high street if you can't find what you're looking for in the centre.

Such a shame this place is a shadow of its former self. There is no reason to come here any more, there's no shops worth talking about. It was one of the first of its sort in the region when it first opened and was a great placeto visit. The water feature was a great meeting spot, getting rid of it was a dreadful mistake. It's so sad to see so many of the units boarded up, Something needs to be done here to stop its interminable decline.

Dead. I've seen Dodos with more life. Another town with no t much retail activity outside the usual bargain basement trash shops, charity and endless coffee and fast food places. Fareham used to be so lively and busy at weekends. Now its just a glorified car park.

A run-down dump! I remember it when it first opened - vibrant and interesting. As soon as pay to park was installed, it commenced to go downhill as has the rest of the town centre. Avoid!

It gets more and more depressing with less shops also it's full of little rides (so annoying) however you do have soft play down one end! It's free too!

Great shops good selection if you stop closing stores. One big ask and I've heard it so often please get a primary in one of the bigger empty stores please it would do incredibly well.

its obviously not as packed with shops as Portsmouth but its still an enjoyment to walk around indoors as there are still some good shops there , plus you can stop off at BBs cafe in the middle of town and enjoy a coffee and home made muffin .

Picking up a relative at bus station 22nd Dec 5.00pm and bus was late by 45 mins so popped in as had time to kill. Many of the shops in the centre were closing or closed, which surprised me considering so close to Christmas. Bit drab, by time paid for parking, not sure would go there to shop unless had a strong reason to.

  • 3/5 Charlie J. 1 year ago on Google
Pretty large shopping centre, ideal If you don't fancy the travel into Portsmouth Centre with plenty near by to finish off all your needs such as food/drink!

Fareham shopping centre is a sad reminder of what it used to be. Most of the good shops that used to be there are long gone the only ones clinging on are the book shop, game and next. Fareham used to be an essential place to go shopping but I know mainly use it to return orders....if you like coffee though outside of the precinct there's about 700 different coffee places.

  • 3/5 Nick W. 1 year ago on Google
This place is always clean and tidy. Unfortunately though, it's slowly losing its High St brands .....many shops have gone. But it does have the essential shops you would need on an everyday basis..

Need more shop in the centre, after RI, DP and Debenham closed, shops are empty. Really sad to see when you have a lovely shopping centre that you letting this happen. Look what happens in neighbourhood Gosport...

Really went to browse holiday clothes but found a lovely shop , Made in Italy , which had a lovely range of clothes so we were tempted to try some and found the quality and fit excellent. Would recommend this friendly shop for something a little different. Good selection of other mainstream retailers too

  • 3/5 Dean A. 9 months ago on Google
The shops that are there are brilliant but there is just a lack of shopping choices for a shopping centre. Clean and well maintained there just needs to be more options and clearer directions.

  • 5/5 Philip D. 4 months ago on Google
Very surprised about the diversity of shops here. Could spend all day looking around. The choice of eateries is fantastic.

  • 1/5 Andy H. 5 months ago on Google
Like a ghost town yet they want people to shop local. Easy, free parking would be a good start but even then there isn't much there worth going for.

  • 3/5 Glenda P. 9 months ago on Google
Very difficult to park if you have a large wheelchair accessible van, I drove around for over 30 minutes before finding an entrance to a nearby carpark, which then charged over £3 for just over an hours parking! The centre itself was nothing special, the toilets were absolutely horrendous, dirty, smelly, and not fit for purpose. I only went in a couple of shops but that was more than enough, the staff were friendly enough, but nothing was very wheelchair accessible, lots of obstacles, and obstructions, in the end I just gave up, I wouldn't recommend this shopping centre unless you are able bodied, and have a poor sense of smell.

Haven't been to Fareham for almost 40 years so was very surprised to see what's happened here in that time, and the Shopping Centre falls into that category. Airy, clean and really pleasant, a nice change from some of the grotty holes we've been to over the years. Being a bank holiday a lot of the shops were closed but it still presented as a nice place to go. Lucky Farehamites!!

There is a good range of shops. Everything you could want from a chemist to shoes. Easy parking nearby even Shop mobility I recommend this should you want to hire a Mobility scooter.

  • 2/5 Gordon B. 10 months ago on Google
Sadly in decline. Lots of shops boarded up. Last few years have seen a number of larger stores move out but there are still some stores worth visiting & a number of banks still have premises nearby.

So easy to get around even in a wheelchair from parking to shops so bright and clean I am proud to live in Fareham and we just need to fill empty shops back will be even better 😀

  • 3/5 Amanda C. 10 months ago on Google
Haven't been here in years. I enjoyed browsing the mall and it seemed to be quite busy but very disappointed to see so many empty shops.

  • 2/5 Patricia K. 8 months ago on Google
Every time I go to Fareham there less and less shops but over 15 coffee places ! Apart from Boots, B & M and a small Bon Marche and Waterstones there is very little to encourage anyone to specifically travel to Fareham these days. The once super and thriving Monday market has long gone with a few struggling stalls trying to seek out a living. There is talk of a regeneration but I think it will need a resurrection as Fareham is virtually dead and when Wilkos closes that will probably be the last nail in Fareham's coffin.

Soo many shops now closed down. Sad to see. Mainly just B&M, Next and Boot and a few phone shops and a few cars and other random shops but soo quiet.

  • 2/5 Allan C. 7 months ago on Google
Nothing open really now. And you have to pay for parking to enjoy nothing really being there. Better to go to Whitley as free to park and more bustling

  • 4/5 Carol M. 2 years ago on Google
Not been here in over a year, so was good see its not changed much. Although several empty sites (like everywhere). Still like it here as a clean open and friendly, not to big feel about the place unlike other shopping centres ie Westquays my local shopping centre that I avoid.

Centre practice is very good and nice but are precinct is fairly neither good not bad . We would miss it.yet the old shops are shutting and me being one miss them.

Whilst open and appears clean. Is it struggling? Only appear to have boots and next as big names in there. But good for getting to an actual bank when have to.

  • 4/5 Ann R. 2 years ago on Google
No major stores, M& S and Debenham gone a while ago. Reasonable selection of major chain eg Boots, Holland &Barrett, Next.

  • 4/5 Caroline W. 2 years ago on Google
A pleasant enough experience but there's nothing that really draws you in, tend to just pop in when I'm picking up something specific, which isn't that often these days. Shops and cafe's outside the shopping centre are far more interesting.

  • 4/5 Paul F. 2 years ago on Google
Lots of good shops here like Game, Timpsons, most of the larger clothing stores have been shut down however Worth a visit, especially the smaller shops, you can find some real bargains

Called in to buy some earrings for my wife at Michaelmatthews jewellers in the centre. The Shopping experience got even better when we found the sofa shop down by the The old Debenhams store excellent service.

Decent little shopping centre. Could be more stores but most high streets are similar, some worse than others.

  • 1/5 Lorraine D. 2 years ago on Google
Used to be great now there's hardly any shops left its a real shame we need our highstreets and the council need to renovate this place to bring it back to life

Good shopping centre, I feel safe shopping generally with a good security presence in the Mall in Fareham, England, Good mix of shops but I noticed alot of empty shops.

  • 3/5 Bee B. 2 years ago on Google
A fairly usual shopping centre full of the usual shops and brands you get everywhere , nothing surprising or that interesting. Very confusing addresses where the mall has street names inside and some shops use them and some use unit numbers for the mall . The place seemed to be full of lost people asking where places are . I was stopped twice for directions whilst in there , one looking for Waterstones , and one searching for Amazon lockers .

Fareham shopping centre used to be a busy place, with plenty of shops open and a decent variety too. It's now a ghost town full of shuttered empty units, the walking dead, cheap jewellery shops, and mobile phone sales. It's depressing walking through there now.

  • 5/5 Anna H. 2 years ago on Google
Great place to go for a nice day out, wide variety of stores and lots to do. Will definitely go back again.

  • 3/5 J K. 1 year ago on Google
Shadow of its former self like many shopping centres around the UK with plenty of empty units. The shops it does have are pretty good though considering the centre's size. Keep an eye out for the barbers in the middle of the walkway. He's very good, quick and very reasonable with his prices

  • 5/5 Gary C. 2 years ago on Google
First time there. Nice place market day also. Few units not occupied. Plenty of variety

Big scale shopping mall with the best public toilets I have seen in many years ! Fair walk if you arrive in Fareham by train. There is on rhs a collectors and antiques emporium needing an hour or two to get round.

This place makes me feel sad. I walked around it a few time now, and it is always empty and sad. But it is convenient. It has a few good shops.

  • 5/5 Buster E. 1 year ago on Google
A well good place to shop has a lot of choices much cheaper than winchester all round and a much better range of different shop in Fareham stuff for all the family. Good eating places again so much better than Winchester and you get more food for less cost. Highly recommended to all.

It used to be a pretty vibrant shopping center with a few good clothing shops but it is very quiet today as well as only a few clothing shops left due to COVID I guessed. Pretty sad to see but COVID did had a big impact on the economy everywhere.

Sadly I hardly ever go in preceint now as there's so little, so many empty units it's depressing in there, even the market has shrunk, I go to tesco for parking, maybe wilkos/tk max but that's it, it's nicer the train station end for a coffee but the decline is just awlful

Having not visited the shopping centre for over two years I was amazed how many shops have closed down. Seems to be going down hill quite fast. Probably because of the expensive car park!

  • 5/5 Deborah C. 2 years ago on Google
Still have quite a few nice shops even if the bigger chains have moved on

  • 4/5 Elodie Q. 1 year ago on Google
Very spacious, lots of shops and places to eat and drink. Clean. Located in the city centre with a supermarket nearby (tesco). Very convenient. Many charity shops in the High Street also, including ice cream place and barbers. Overall it's perfect for a shopping trip.

  • 3/5 Iram U. 1 year ago on Google
Nice and quiet. The only problem is the soft play area, parents should be a little bit more aware with the older children and not leave them jumping around when there are and little ones playing. Just some do not have commonsense at all.

Absolutely dreadful shopping centre now. Yes it’s clean and tidy, but there are so many empty shops. To me it feels like a motorway service station and has about as much soul. Have lived in Fareham all my life on and off
