Lovely big and clean shopping centre. Even the toilets were clean and well maintained. This shopping centre has a great selection of clothes shops, places to eat plus quite a few unexpected shops I hadn't seen before. There is plenty of bus stops nearby plus the High Street at one end of the centre.

I'm sorry to say but this might be the sadest place I ever visited. A giant shopping mall in the midst of Dundee. Dundee might be a great place to live but to visit felt actually as a waste of time. There's the V&A museum and little shops and restaurants and some nice looking status. But, there also a great bunch of concrete a city center which seems to have been left in the hands of the one with the craziest ideas, like the shopping mall built halfway around the church. I guess there is plenty to do and see in Dundee and I always tell everyone I meet to visit Scotland but now I will also tell them not to waste their time visiting Dundee.

Its a nice public place and a mall here in Dundee, Scotland in UK 🇬🇧 for your shopping, relaxing and and other fun thing to do. I went there to do some shopping too and to take some nice coffee from costa. Trust me..... You will like 👍 it. You will see Primark, Argos, and many brands of shops for shopping and then places to eat in the mall and for you to explore.

The shopping centre has lots of shops inside including shops of famous brands and due to this reason, the shopping centre is always crowded and the floors were not that clean too. I would recommend everyone to wear a mask inside the shopping centre. The washrooms were not free to use when I visited the shopping centre and that's not a good gesture at all.

Its a very nice place for shopping inside Dundee's heart. It's a newly designed building, with good use of glass inside and outside. Almost every kind of shops or stores are available here, from sports clothing to fast food shops. If you wanna buy something, then I recommend this place for your next visit.

It has two great things: Primark and Saint Mary's views. Lacks of food offers. Children get bored because there is nothing for them. If you plan to lunch, you'll probably end eating in the floor, the stairways or the parking: there is little place to sit and eat.

Cold on entry, waited 10 minutes for menus, however the waiter did give us iced water on sitting down then apologised for forgetting the menus. Had to wait a bit longer for our main course( I assume everything is cooked to order?). Food was first class.

It's a shopping centre with a good variety of shops and eateries. Very clean and all the staff I encountered were very pleasant and helpful.

Like most shopping centers it is struggling, however, I believe a new department stone is due to open and should bring in more custom. Premises are always clean and maintenance staff are always on hand to tend to any mishaps. Locus currently now tastefully decorated in Christmas lights. Hoping the New Year will bring lots of customers

Good range of shops. Good toilet and baby change facilities and places to get a bite to eat. All really accessible for people with prams, pushchairs and those of us with reduced mobility.

Nice and spacious shopping centre. Currently covid measures in place ie stick to the left. Nice and clean with plenty of shops still open. Plenty of spaces but a bit pricey for parking 0-2 hours is £3 then 2-3 hours is £5.

Great range of stores and the ones I visited had good ranges of products apart from a distinct lack of extra long legged trousers - not the only place with this problem though! The security guard I asked for help to find my way around (taking the covid-19 signage into consideration) was helpful and friendly.

Staff refused my wife to take the pram inside to collect an item from Argos. They insisted she leave him at the doors with them. There is no rule anywhere in any land that would separate a mother from an infant. "He isn't shopping". Away and wet your head you absolute bams.

After reviewing the Keiller centre, we go to the other end of the spectrum, the overgate shopping centre is everything the Keiller centre is not, spacious, modern, and practically every unit is occupied, (apart from Debenhams of course, which I miss, but that's another story ) plenty of toilets, atm's, and lots of different types of retailers selling a wide variety of goods, cafés, places to park your bum if you need to rest, and wide walkways, this is a bustling place, always lots of people, everything the Keiller centre is not, if you've never been, have a walk through both levels, it's quite the shopping experience, ( even post pandemic )

Great shops. Clean and liafs if coffee shops, eating places and shopping for brand names

  • 5/5 Michael T. 2 years ago on Google
The Overgate Dundee is a brilliant place to shop the way the building is designed you can walk along the walkway and see all the shops and not get lost in a maze of hallways. It's kept very clean and the toilets are fairly large and roomy situated on both levels. There's a good variety of shops for clothes, shoes, stationary goods, sports wear and plenty of places to eat. I love the place and always visit when in Dundee for a day out.

I was there just after 10 am so was nice and quiet. Shopping is almost back to normal, still wearing masks in store and can't use changing rooms as of yet. There's also a keep to the left system in place when walking between shops. All good thou.

  • 5/5 Ricky “PureHealthy” R. 2 years ago on Google
Plenty options for food or coffee, incredibly handy for picking quick household bits and bobs with Argos being there. Always clean and tidy, never too crowded either.

  • 5/5 Neil B. 2 years ago on Google
Despite many stores closing it remains the best shopping centre in Dundee. I was puzzled by the signs stating everyone had to wear a mask as I saw several staff (security and cleaning) without one.

Visited to buy present, not too busy but plenty shoppers. There's not the choice of shops there used to be obviously but I didn't have any trouble finding something nice. Clean, easy parking, good choice of eating places

  • 4/5 ChrisJ 1. 2 years ago on Google
Overall the centre is decent especially if you are after trainers. Only issue I'd say is one of the better shops got closed that was Menkind had really cool items in stock. Would like to a comic book store possibly open in here something like a forbidden planet would be perfect.

  • 5/5 Pete B. 2 years ago on Google
Only quickly passed through there, but what I saw I was impressed with. The usual shopping mall shops & cafes, very bright due to huge windows. Parking was not a problem, toilets were clean.

  • 5/5 Sarah N. 2 years ago on Google
Modern, busy centre. Plenty of variety of stores including Superdry, Lush, JD, Schuh and Office, plus some good eateries like Frankie and Bennie's and Five Guys. Good amount of facilities, clean and pleasant environment. Would recommend for a few hours shopping.

  • 4/5 Gaynor H. 2 years ago on Google
As with a number of shopping centres a few empty stores including the big Debenhams store but still enough to make it a good shop. A number of places to have a meal, a quick bite or just a coffee.

  • 5/5 Cal Nic (. 2 years ago on Google
Great shopping centre in the heart of Dundee. Lots of variety for stores. Worked here for a number of years. Certainly keeps up with the times. Facilities are clean and tidy, staff are all friendly. What's not to love?

  • 5/5 Zaidi M. 1 year ago on Google
Many choices of shops, exception of Debenhams which is still closed, apart from that can't really complain, easy parking and lots of eateries to choose from.

  • 4/5 Graeme M. 1 year ago on Google
It's changed since I was last there 50 years ago. Church is still there but the centre is typical of such centres everywhere apart from the "Scottish" shop. Parking easy, big Primark shop and H&M plus the usual suspects. Good place to avoid the rain!

  • 5/5 Paul B. 4 years ago on Google
Been years since I have been to Dundee, good park even for a large SUZ, wide range of shops and the place is clean. You could never do a full saturday shop in there as there is limited shops due to the space. Dont think the parking costs are that bad for a city center parki g structure.

  • 5/5 AJ G. 1 year ago on Google
A little further away that I would have liked...a £15 taxi fare away. But Premier Inns usual formula of good rooms at a very good price. Great breakfast.

  • 4/5 Suhaib A. 1 year ago on Google
The only shopping complex in Dundee. Debenhams is closed. So we have few noteworthy shops in the complex. Quite busy during weekends. Nice place to hang out.

  • 4/5 Maya M. 1 year ago on Google
It's a good shopping centre with a decent variety of shops and restaurants/cafés. It's a shame that the outlet where Debenhams used to be is still empty. There's Pause - a place where you can sit down and relax in peace. It was a genius idea to open a place like that. I've used it many times to take a break and feed my baby.

  • 4/5 Aakash k. 1 year ago on Google
Really liked the place, have several coffee houses, clothing brands , cosmetics and what not. Prime mark is the one which I preferred for my clothing as it is relatively cheaper and has pretty decent stuff.

  • 5/5 Tam S. 1 year ago on Google
The city's best shopping Centre. Replaced a forgettable 1960s development with a modern well designed centre which made great use of glass. Most if not all units open with lots of choice and all including the car parking under overall roof.

  • 5/5 LeeAnne D. 1 year ago on Google
Great selection of shops. Clothing, jewellery, perfumes, restaurants and lots more. Christmas market is so lovely at Slessor Gardens.

  • 5/5 David K. 1 year ago on Google
Nice modern shopping centre with most units occupied. Plenty of parking and toilets. Good mix of shops, cafes, restaurants and takeaways. Open 7 days a week.

One of my most favourite shopping centres ive been to, has a nice variety of clotges shops, shoe shops, food etc. We go there fairly regularly and most of the time get what we need.

  • 4/5 Angie G. 1 year ago on Google
I like this place it used to have so many shops but unfortunately a lot of shops shutting but its still a lovely shopping centre you still have different varieties of shops I would come to see for yourselves if your out and about in town 😊 ☺️

  • 3/5 Margaret B. 1 year ago on Google
This is a real shame. What can we do with our shopping centres now that people are shopping online because the cost of living crisis and post-covid? Does the UK government care? Not as long as the UK government is full of millionaires. Maybe do what they do in Canada. Create dual use workshops/living space for artists and crafts people.

  • 5/5 John K. 1 year ago on Google
Lots of groovy stores here! And very clean bath rooms!

  • 4/5 Alan W. 5 years ago on Google
A busy shopping centre in the heart of Dundee City centre, close to all the amenities such as the railway station and the newly opened V&A. It has the usual variety of shops and fast food restaurants eponymous to just about every mall in the UK, this being its strength but also its weakness, would you not like to see something different in a mall sometimes?

  • 5/5 Gail M. 8 months ago on Google
Great shopping centre, very clean, well lit & well laid out. Plenty of seating to have a rest & certainly loads of food bars; something for everyone. Good selection of shops. Great parking.

  • 5/5 steven s. 9 months ago on Google
Had a great shopping experience here it was great to see a thriving shopping centre again with no closed units in sight (which is common these days) and a lot of people shopping. This reminds me of what shopping centres used to be like and how much I enjoyed looking in stores and the experience the staff have to offer,

  • 3/5 Toby P. 8 months ago on Google
Really very much what you'd expect from a mall. So, great for those that are after typical high street chains, but really nothing out of the ordinary.

  • 2/5 Ken G. 4 months ago on Google
Spent more on parking than in the centers shops. Costa had no cups as dishwasher had broken, so had the one in the other store. Very little Xmas spirit. Should have gone to Aberdeen

  • 3/5 Saad O. 4 months ago on Google
It's an ok Shopping mall, it's the only place with any people that's for sure. It has most brands, like Primark, Super dry, etc, with a somewhat dying food court (You're better off getting something to eat from outside the mall) otherwise a nice mall, the other malls in the city seemed to be dead or dying slow deaths.

  • 4/5 John W. 4 months ago on Google
Not bad. Sometimes, getting where to park, especially at busy times, is usually a hassle. Also, some brands such as Nike, Lacoste, Fashion nova, Micheal kors, Guess, Tory Burch, Coach, House of Zara, Verano Hill and Cult Gaia are not there themselves. Some are only being retailed by some stores.

  • 4/5 Taylor H. 1 year ago on Google • 7 reviews
Cleaning services are managed very well and the shopping centre as a whole is expertly maintained. There's always someone available at the service desk on the upper floor to assist customers. It is quite a busy shopping centre and there are stores for most things needed. It could probably benefit if there were more places to sit inside and outside outwith the stores themselves. There are 5 entrances to the shopping centre and a multifloor car park that is also very well maintained with a service on one of the levels for valeting. I wouldn't comment on the actual stores themselves as they are subject to change outwith the shopping centre itself.

  • 3/5 Adam G. 6 months ago on Google
The overrated offers a good amount of different shops for different needs. Not quite as much choice as shopping centres in other areas of Scotland. But has all the main shops you can expect. From primark to Jd. To having several places to stop for food including subway and five guys. Multiple levels allow for more shops to have a look in. There is also a multistorey mostly indoor car park that has plenty of spaces, however it can get busy during holidays and especially the festive period.

  • 5/5 M S. 4 months ago on Google
Very good shops when you come to Overgate Shopping Centre, this is should be one of the places you should come when you are visiting Dundee. The problem you have here is it very busy when you come, like when I went last Saturday, I got lost in couple shops. But it very good shopping centre, come and visit it.
