I like it. There's a wide variety of stores and options for you to get almost anything you're looking for. It's basically a simpler version of Union Square which is close-by. Additionally, you can walk through the Bon Accord as a shortcut linking union street and the other streets behind Bon Accord. This is very helpful. There is a post office, pharmacy, multiple jewellery stores, eateries, and many more outlets for a good shopping and leisure experience.

Unsure how exactly to rate this shopping centre - it's certainly better than the rundown Trinity Centre, but it's not as good as the modern Union Square Shopping Centre. Bon Accord is a little outdated, especially outside of the southern half of the centre I feel, however it does have a fairly good array of shops and cafes etc. to browse. Inside is fairly clean and modern however. Hence why it sits in the middle of the two in terms of ratings. There's a nice garden area on the roof on the southern half, as well as an exciting market - Curated Aberdeen - located inside the northern half. Overall, it's probably worth a walk through just to see if there's someplace that grabs your attention inside.

Nice shopping centre, shops are OK but not the best, great to see they have been inventive with filling spaces up with a science centre and mini golf, etc which is great to keep kids entertained. It's a very multifunctional space. Great idea of building a roof garden aswell, wish more shopping centres did this!

Really need to do something outside the store, mainly the St nicholas side. It is mainly a hang out for dole dossers fighting of methadone. Really don't frequent the town as much as I used to for lack of shops and overpriced parking. The comedy festival outside can be good but also shows a bad light on aberdeen.

It's decent. Better than Union Square? Not really. Worse than? No, it's just different. Clothing stores are bigger, less food vendors/restaurants, and more real-estate to walk without really seeing much more. I hope it survives M&S relocating. I feel it's still very relevant and provides much, to many.

Sadly like many parts of Aberdeen, it is no longer in its prime. Many vacant spots and no buzz or atmosphere any more. A place to walk through and avoid the rain is as kind as I can say

So many empty shops and duplicate shops found elsewhere.. Understandable but won't be rushing back anytime soon. Only went in to see if the big slide was open and now it's gone. Kids have never managed to go down it as it was closed all the times I have been in previously, and now it's gone.

Just about derelict. Never known a shopping mall to have pitch and put through it instead of shops. Always has been a white elephant. Ripped out the heart of our city. Wish they could bring g back the old George Street

Felt more like a funeral parlour. Very few retail outlets open. The Coffee Shop at Waterstones is lovely.

An interesting mall in Aberdeen City centre with all the mall type shops and a very good eating area with all the usual amenities located on the upper level. Winters in Aberdeen can be a little chilly so mall shopping can be ideal for those of us who are not so hardly. The downside? The lack of variety and therefore choice between all malls throughout the UK.

Bon Accord Shopping Centre in Aberdeen is a fantastic shopping destination that caters to all tastes and budgets. The centre has a great mix of stores, from high-end fashion brands to affordable high-street stores, offering something for everyone. The layout of the centre is well-organized and easy to navigate, making it a comfortable shopping experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful, ready to assist with any queries or questions. The shopping centre also has a good selection of cafes and restaurants, perfect for taking a break during a busy shopping day. The facilities at Bon Accord are modern and well-maintained, with clean restrooms and ample parking. Overall, I had a great experience at Bon Accord Shopping Centre and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great shopping destination in Aberdeen.

It's a good shopping centre with a variety of shops that are more affordable generally than Union Square shopping centre.

A place to find everything in Aberdeen from groceries to clothing household items, snacks and so on, beautiful atmosphere from the moment you step in till the last step you take out. Good connectivity around the mall. Born Acord Aberdeen is accessible from all direction.

It has a variety of shops and restaurants/cafes. It also has a play area and other entertainment like mini golf, table football and massive chess to keep young ones entertained. Some of the shops are the same as Union Square so a bit more variety would be good but in a way it's good if you don't have time to go to Union Square or you've been but didn't buy something you wanted or it was out of stock/not in your size you could possibly get it at the Bon Accord. Overall it's a good shopping centre and I would recommend visiting.

A shell of its former self but it is getting a bit better. The loss of John Lewis and a lot of the clothing stores and Disney leaves the back half somewhat desolate. However Waterstones is there and a few other decent shops. Enough to keep it relevant.

The lack of wage increases has destroyed shopping. Remember when you used to go out shopping on a Saturday? Just go and get some new clothes or some games. Can you imagine just going and spending a hundred quid on random stuff today? feel for places like this, stuck waiting out for holidays. It's a bit gloomy. I also messaged the managment team once asking if they start their morning breifings with "Good Morning, I hope everything has Bon According to plan" I never got a response. Shame.

A ghost town compared to what it used to be in 2019. Half the units sit empty unfortunately. The centre staff are helpful however, and the centre always appears clean and they still try to run different seasonal events and fun things to do. Only really worth visiting if you have a need to visit a mobile network, fancy a coffee or boots.

I was surprised by how many companies have left the centre. I presume it's due to covid. Masks were being worn by the majority of shoppers. Restaurants were almost empty so I imagine they are struggling. Aberdeen in general seems to have lost many businesses. What a pity, as I always enjoyed shopping in the city

Split into two buildings which had a busy road in the middle. Upstairs isn't finished yet. Nice bathrooms. Well kept. Very well equipped for kids. I like it but food in general is a bit expensive

High capacity for shops being open. That in itself is huge for these kind of places in Scotland.

Loved it, this place suits both adult and children and in the heart of Aberdeen. It also connects to other fun places within the city center

The Pandemic sadly hit this place. It has a number of your usual chain stores. Unfortunately it's not a popular as the Union Square mall with the younger crowd. However, its a good place to shop.

So many stores and its clean and spacious with a cute little store/exhibit of 6 or 7 science themed things that's free to explore. My son loved it. It was a nice break from shopping. With three fun house mirrors, an illusion mirror and others. Only one didn't seem work, a memory button test, but that's okay. It was way better than the little rocking cars you put money in for 1 minute of children entertainment. Other than that, there's a subway in the food court, plenty of shops with a wonderful variety, I love the garden shop. Definitely recommend especially to get out of the sun but still shop.

Maybe one of the oldest so called "malls" in Aberdeen. Decent selection for known brand shops. Food joints are limited probably because you are in the city center and have plenty options when you step out. It's at the heart of the city so worth a visit whilst you are there.

Good, clean mall. Free play areas for kids and a museum pop up, which is a great idea to utilise otherwise empty space. Toilets were readily accessible and clean.

Visited Next. There were 4 ex display dining chairs, the ones we were there to order, at the door. £200 saving boost. Ordered another 2 from the store. The staff were very helpful as always. Can't beat shopping in store!

Overtime the Bon Accord Centre, in Aberdeen, has gone downhill. There are several shops to visit and plenty of places to eat but on the whole most people will shop at Union Square and as a result the Bon Accord Centre has a shabby and almost forgotten-about quality to it. Most of the big shops that people would visit for are long gone (Woolworths anyone?) but if you are tired from shopping at Union Square you could do a lot worse that grabbing a bite to eat here; equally, you could do a lot better also. Middlin.

Interesting mall. A road cuts the mall into two sections. One main section with Waterstones book shop, Boots pharmacy, and Vodafone, EE. And some jewellery stores. Food places and toilets on the second floor. The other section across the road has a large Marks and Spencer, three, some pharmacy, WH Smith, a large shoe shop etc.

Loved the way this centre spread across a couple of streets onto the main Union Street. Not quite as much as I thought would be there. However, it was all set up for the children being off school, sand pits and many other things throughout the centre. Fabulous. Would visit again

So so many options for the Ice creams! I like how they name them. My favorite was fruits of the forest

A great bookshop is hiding inside, with lots of books to peruse! I suggest visiting, but don't expect any discount even if you buy 10 books in one piece (that's why I'm giving them a 3* review).

Inside has a great mix of shops which are clean, well organised and cater for a wide variety of needs. Outside is full of poor singers, dirty conditions, aggresive pamphlet pushers and represents Aberdeen Council lack of commercial leadership to do something useful with this space.

  • 2/5 Calum C. 1 year ago on Google
A lot of empty shops. The ones that are occupied are either not that great, or are in other shopping centres in the city centre. The local market inside is alright, but it is definitely lacking.

The staff at vision express were so helpfull, as I was getting off the train a person suddenly stepped backwards and bashed into me and the lens in my glasses popped out, they sorted it and cleaned them, such helpfull people.

M&S, what can you say my breakfast was delicious 😋. I was there the day before, had scrambled eggs with bacon, just devine. Hence my return, as a former chef, it was nearly as good as mine. All freshly cooked and quality ingredients, and lovely staff serving, it up. I know where I will be going next visit and you should too It's value for money, and the restaurant is clean and spacious, with toilets nearby.
