Lovely little restaurant. Serving traditional Indian street food, without the fuss and frills. Have visited this place several times and never disappoints. Best Indian tea around and I've tried many others in London, but this one wins hands down. All I would say as honest feedback, please ask your floor staff to be more approachable, like even smiling would be great start. Everytime we requested them to come over it was more a bother it seemed. No welcome or goodbye just basics would be appreciated. Anyways, just thought i would give an honest review outlining pros and cons!

I felt the food quality and service has drastically reduced. Food: I must admit that I have been here a few times before and the food used to be great, especially the starters. Starters such as chilli paneer was 20% paneer and 80% peppers, celery and onions. Considering this starter dish was £9.00. I understand prices are hiking up everywhere but would be good to see the quality and portions remain the same as before. Prices: Have gone higher for sure, as stated above the good starters are £9.00 which I thought were central London prices and is steep for Kingsbury. The table next to us was comparing it to other restaurants close by and mentioned "for these prices I may as well eat at Mumbai Local". Guess it's a thought on the customers mind. Service: was very slow unfortunately. I will give it a benefit of a doubt that it was the weekend (and fathers day). The owner Raju bhai definitely was tentative and he did treat the staff well! I was glad to see this :) I like this restaurant and it's been a let down from what it used to be! I hope this feedback is received positively and look forward to visiting again in the future.

When the food tastes good, the portion sizes are massive, and the service is quick and friendly - what's not to like? Now if I tell you that prices will make you go for an extra dish and even tempt you to get an extra takeaway - how can not love this place? The paav bhaji was delicious, the rotla was fresh and flavoursome, the Chinese touch had the spike, and panner was roasted to perfection. A delicious meal indeed!

Nice tasty food. Loved the chole bhature and tofu curry. Service is quick but can get a little busier than usual on weekends. They don't take table bookings so you may have to wait like 10 or 15 minutes and it will be a little noisy inside. Food came out nice and hot and wasn't overly spicy. Some items needed more seasoning but there's salt and pepper on the table so you can add as per your taste. Overall it was a decent vegetarian Indian lunch.

THEY CHARGE U DOUBLE if you complain. DO NOT PAY WITHOUT SEEING THE BILL FIRST. Old and scratched out plastic plates. Cancelled curry as it wasn't cooked but the old woman owner wouldn't acknowledge. I paid at the counter n saw the bill after I paid it as its when I was given the receipt. Also charging 10% "Surcharge" so don't bother leaving any tips.

Excellent service, highly recommend it to friends and family, reasonable prices, clean environment, received very good service from staff being so helpful with kids. We went often after pandemic so really like the way they provide separate water bottles and takeaway bags. Really impressed with patience in service. Will visit often as it's very convenient on working days.

Wonderful place to have Indian food! Owner and staff was very friendly and helpful if you are visiting first time. They made us feel like we were having food at home. Ambiance was really nice with good decorations and lighting. Food was really tasty and delicious. Quantity was very good too! All in all a must try indian restaurant 😊

Have been here for an hour and no mains in sight. Restaurant is fairly empty and other customers have also complained about waiting a very long time for their orders. They also don’t know what vegan is, if you request without onion and garlic, vegan dishes suddenly become non-vegan. Hersh Probhu was very upset.

TO THE MANAGER - I have not been to the new restaurant but loved rose. Please can you add pure vegan dishes to your menu. spicy tofu curries. I would love to be able to order a Tofu biryani from you guys, oh and the rose portions were generous, so if you could keep that up. Thank you.

Great experience at Bombay Spice. Same menu as Rose and nothing has changed. Good old great menu. Big portions and great value. Just with an upgraded lovely interior. So much better than before run by Bombay Spice. No free parking, unless you find something on Brampton Road. Highly recommend coming here.

The dishes I would recommend to try are the different pau bhajis and the paneer tikka roll. This restaurant is very good value. We spent 12 each and were stuffed! Everything else was only ok. I found the chilli paneer, chilli garlic mogo and baby corn dish misleading. When they are served it looks like a large portion but most of it is stirfired vegetables. What's more all the dishes had celery which I did not appreciate and for me was not necessary. We tried the Chinese dosa which was unusual with noodles in it. It was ok but worth trying. The mogo was boiled. So was the baby corn. I think it would have tasted better if fried (and more unhealthy!) I wouldn't eat in unless asked to but would definitely get the pau bhaji and paneer tikka roll as a takeaway.

Amazing food and very good service. The manager was very helpful. While we were waiting for the table, he got papad for my hungry child. All the food was very tasty. The portion size is massive. I would love to visit again.

Sometimes all you really want is a good food and an artery-clogging dessert. That what Bombay Spice  has done with this dinner. which on one level is very simple, but offers a solid interpretation of the national cuisine it represents.

Food is always great here, the portions are perfect for sharing. The Papdi Chaat, Crispy Bhajia and Chilli Paneer are my favourites. The naan could do with some improvement, not fluffy and pretty dense. The servers could be more attentive, I had to get up a couple of times to call someone over when it wasn't very busy. I'd recommend coming here for a tasty vegetarian meal.

Excellent vegetarian food. Lots of variety and every dish we ordered were nicely done. Excellent customer service - we were asked at least thrice by different people, including the owner himself, if everything was ok at our table. The owner is extremely warm and humble and doesn't shy away from working alongside his team to clear the tables or take any negative feedback and try to work on it. No wonder the restaurant has a long waiting.

Beautiful ambiance, very nice food menu , only bar services is disappointed as no printed menu available btl beer 5 Pound is too costly for location, no deal for lunch for beer or wine or food available.. Want to have Indian food but disappointed had 1 beer and move nearby pub where draft beer served 2.35 pound and pizza with beer 9 pound...if have bar please have menu and price and deal for day time to move more for your profit.

LOVED the food at this place.. we’re not vegetarians and usually crave the meat in a curry but this place seriously surprised us. The mark down is because we ordered a fair amount of food & collected it (our bill was just over 60£), I asked if they could include some sauces - chutney etc and they wouldn’t. On a 60£ bill which they didn’t have to deliver/serve us in house I thought was a little bit tight. A happy customer means they’ll return time and time again, with this place I’m unsure.

Not been to this place for a while now but just visited today. It's even better than before (new management). Still the best Paneer Chilli around. Dosas are great. And Khoya Kaju Masala is really good as well. Potion sizes are very good. They also serve alcohol now. The deco is also much more modern and contemporary.

Good indian vegetarian food. Very large portions, watch out if you ordering for the first time. 1 serving can be sufficient easily for 3 people. Also, their namesake rose milkshake was terribly sweet. If you are not a fan of super sugar, ask for low or medium sugar..

I ordered from here a few months ago and it took 3 hours for it to arrive. Fancied it again and thought it might of just of been a one off but I got it all wrong! All my food was delivered cold. My schezwan chips tasted stale, as if they had been cooked a few days ago. The sauce was all dried and the chips overall were uneatable. My cocktail noodles which are suppose to me a mixture of rice & noodles in schezwan sauce & soya sauce combined seemed like only a spoon of rice had been added just for the look on top. They tasted as if they were like schezwan Hakka noodles - with no soya sauce, which is why they added a random bit of rice on top! I called the management at the restaurant and she was just rude & abrupt. She didn’t want to listen to what I had to say and wouldn’t give me a chance to speak. I will never order from this restaurant ever again. Such a shame!

  • 1/5 J S. 3 years ago on Google
High prices, poor service, rude waiter. Remember that new rule is to charge for water. Been there so many times and don't like to give a negative review but every time the same is shockingly rude and makes faces. All their food is literally dripping with oil and all we asked was to use less oil in our dishes. Not accommodating and hostile attitude.
