I had the mac & cheese and a biscoff milkshake. The mac & cheese was lovely, although the salad with it could have been slightly bigger. The milkshake was amazing, very sweet! If you don't have a sweet tooth, you might want to give this one a miss. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our order came. Great service, friendly staff,  chilled atmosphere, lovely food, reasonable prices... what's not to love?! I'll definitely come here again the next time I'm in Bournemouth. I also liked the animal rights leaflets at the entrance.

If this place doesn't make you leave wanting to try becoming vegan nothing will. This is by far the best vegan breakfast I've ever had, that homemade bacon, wow just wow. I loved the atmosphere and vibes you get in this place, super friendly staff, lovely customers, just an around great eating experience. If we go back to Bournemouth we'll definitely be coming back again.

Visited on 8/5/2023. Ordered English breakfast, English muffin and Almond butter and bananas on toast and chocolate drink and tea. Total £35. The taste was good but the Almond butter and bananas on toast portion was too small to be included as a breakfast option at £8. Also the tea was ok though was cold in 5m. Need a tea cosy.

Brilliant menu and nice cosy atmosphere. We went for the full vegan breakfast and it didn’t disappoint, good portion sizes. There were lots of options for delicious cakes too.

Lovely place with chilled atmosphere cater brilliantly for us with delicious options at fair prices. Me and my son went today, they do have a kids menu too. Highly recommend their smoothies as well as the food, thank you

Amazing food and really great portion sizes. We aren't vegan, but have two people who cannot eat dairy, so going to a vegan restaurant means we know everything on the menu is ok to eat. And, wow, what a treat we enjoyed on this occasion! We ordered: - The breakfast: mushroom and spinach, sausages, fake bacon, beans, hash brown, sourdough bread and a small side salad - Porridge: chocolate and hazelnut - Pancakes: almond and cherry - Kids pancakes: with fruit - Soya latte's - Fruit smoothie All of the above tasted incredible and the portions were large. We even took away with us a biscoff brownie and a slice of lemon cake. Highly recommended, even of you don't like the vegan alternatives and just want amazing pancakes or a decent cup of coffee and a quality bit of cake.

What a find!!🤩 I love this place with my whole heart- delicious food combinations served with a smile and friendly chit chat, really great experience. I love the Buddha bowl and the vegan desserts are unreal... my favourite is the raspberry cheesecake, best thing ever!!🥳 Perfect place to grab an iced coffee or green smoothie too (my personal faves but they have plenty of options!) Would definitely recommend!

Visited the Mad Cucumber for breakfast whilst visiting Bournemouth and we both had the English breakfast which was amazing, I added avocado to mine which cost a little extra. My husband opted for the biscoff and I chose the peanut butter and chocolate milkshakes which where divine. So much to choose from and so little time, definitely worth a visit.

We had breakfast - porridge and cream cheese bagel, very tasty and beautifully presented. Smoothies green and peanut butter which were outstanding. Would come back for breakfast again and lunch, lovely place, relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff. ❤️

Best vegan food we've had in a long time. I had the Italian style flatbread and there were lots of delicious flavours going on. Portion was also a decent size. The cheesecake was also great and not overly sweet. Decor is relaxing and it would be easy to spend a long time here. We took shelter on a rainy day and staff were welcoming and helpful. Would love to go again

Great service, cosy atmosphere and excellent food! We ordered the tofu and satay sauce as a starter and I got the Power Bowl. It was full of flavour and colours and very filling! We will definitely be visiting again 😊

Epic Mad Breakfast. Also a great 'dirty chai latte' friendly service and very relaxing atmosphere. It's a sanctuary and I'll happily return.

I recently visited a mad cucumber and was pleasantly surprised by their mac and cheese - it was delicious af! Additionally, I tried their pistachio and rose cake which was also amazing. Staff is so friendly, best in town. Highly recommended!!!

A lovely visit with my family for my sister's birthday. So many options, and certainly the food is impressive, good prices and flavourful- not just your standard vegan food range! The building is chic, atmosphere is friendly and great extra touch with the board games. Will be becoming a regular now :) X

What a great place! Came here a few weeks ago with family who already know and enjoy this venue, its lovely food and drink and friendly staff. Late lunch, freshly made was great and the coffee superb. This is a must eating and drinking spot for our next visit.

Incredible food, really fast and friendly service, wide variety of tasty vegan options and really nice environment to be in! I have been many times recently for breakfast and lunch and it is by far my favourite restaurant in Bournemouth. The porridge and pancakes are amazing for breakfast and the bean burger and 'avocado madness' are divine lunch treats! Super generous portion sizes too and really good value for money.

Another restaurant in Bournemouth that was a real treat to visit. Fab food and a good atmosphere. Cakes to die for and all 100% vegan. What more could you ask for! We visited for lunch twice on our short holiday in Bournemouth and neither visit disappointed. The only negative is that they shut too early for an evening meal visit!

Brilliant! Lovely welcoming staff. Love to see both gluten free and vegan options available! Satay tofu is an easy favourite. Clean tables and quick service! Will come again many times in the future

Amazing vegan food. I had avocado salad. Fresh and so tasty! Staff were very friendly & helpful. Explained dishes. Happy to give us tap water. Love the new layout. This is a must go place and I'm not a vegan. So good it can get very busy so pick your times

Lovely lunch at the Mad Cucumber and the staff were really attentive and lovely as well. Definitely try the cakes and milkshakes they are delicious and tasty specials as well!

Nice place,layout improved since my last visit. Food this time was half very nice the lentil soup and the other half,aubergine meal not so much,however the staff were accommodating and polite,swiftly attending to the issue. Overall a good experience.

Amazing rhubarb and custard custom cake made for my wedding on Saturday. Hands down the best cake I've ever had and my guests absolutely raved about it. 3 layer rhubarb sponge and custard buttercream icing. Thank you so much Ewelina at Mad Cucumber 😊😁

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Mad Cucumber already! Pre pandemic I'd eat here every week. The food is great, the staff are literally the best, and the atmosphere is so relaxed. Life changes mean that I can't get there weekly, but it's my top choice for eating at if I'm in Bournemouth, even if it is just for coffee and a cake.

Beautiful food, beautiful people. Seriously, the best tomato I have ever tasted. Loved it.

Really, really pleasantly surprised by how good the Mad Cucumber was. They do an incredible burger- the best I've had in Bournemouth so far. The patty had really good flavour and texture and the burger was really well dressed. Cannot fault any part of the food and the staff were great. Can't wait to come back again soon.
