Don't
be
fooled
by
the
budget
restaurant
signage
out
front,
this
Indian
restaurant
has
a
far
more
premium
feel
inside
-
this
place
makes
for
a
good
location
for
a
celebration
or
to
bring
a
date.
Book
in
advance
at
the
usual
busy
times
-
we
didn't
have
to
on
a
Friday
lunchtime
when
it
was
virtually
empty.
This
meant
fast
service
and
timely
delivery
of
food.
There
were
a
lot
of
vegan
dishes
on
the
menu
-
the
majority
in
fact.
Usually
Indian
restaurants
do
well
to
cater
for
vegan
requirements
but
here,
the
majority
of
items
on
the
menu
thankfully
are
vegan
by
default.
Of
particular
note
are
the
multiple
(multiple!)
vegan
naans:
with
butter,
garlic
and
chilli
flavours
to
choose
from.
Such
rare
joy
as
other
Indian
restaurants
make
you
believe
dairy
is
necessary
for
a
good
naan
which
is
patently
not
the
case.
The
chefs
here
demonstrate
such
skill
with
their
craft.
We
had
tarka
daal,
chana
masala
and
a
potato
dish
along
with
various
naans
-
all
well
worth
ordering.
Their
drink
selection
is
nice
too
-
managed
to
get
a
strawberry
mojito
(pictured)
which
was
excellent
to
complement
the
(relatively
mild)
heat
of
the
food.
Overall,
a
great
service
to
Birmingham's
vegan
scene
and
comes
highly
recommended.
