I usually eat the bigger Moc when I go there as it’s delicious and totally unique, and I really can’t remember eating a better vegan burger. The banana and peanut butter milk shake was also awesome although I feel should be bigger for the price. The 2 cookies filled with a hazelnut Center are also amazing and probably the best cookies I’ve ever eaten. The chips aren’t bad, but are a bit of a let down compared to everything else. They are thin and crispy, I think they should try to improve them. The service seems to have improved now that they don’t have that foreign guy working there that tells you all the tables are booked when 60% of the restaurant is empty. I’m not sure why they have taken the dirty stop out Burger off the menu since it was delicious. They have a good selection of other food on the menu but I’ve never got past the burger.

As someone with a dairy allergy it was incredible to eat 'cheesy' foods, the staff were lovely and the food is incredible, you wouldnt even be able to tell its vegan. So impressed with this place, cannot fault it in any way at all, definitely shall be returning! I ordered the bacun cheeseburger, mac and cheese and brie sticks, as pictured, with animal style fries, with sticky toffee pudding for dessert, if you cant finish your meal the staff are happy to put it in a to go bag for you so you can enjoy later.

Filthy vegan food - awesome!! Plymouth should be proud to have such a unique place as this. You can order a KFC or a Big Mac, but it tastes great and it’s all plant based. Nice little touches: weird local art on the walls and a record player with an unusual selection of vinyl to peruse while you wait. Friendly staff, quirky surroundings. Not the cheapest fast food you’ll ever have and it doesn’t leave you feeling particularly healthy, but I will definitely be back here many times again!!

Dont get me wrong, the food is lush, staff are friendly and I have left 5 star reviews in the past. However last night has really left a bitter taste. Switching to deliveroo is a huge mistake. We used to order takeaway all the time from here. This time, we couldn't order any deli desserts due to the fact you have to order through the deliveroo website (which is terrible in itself). There were only 2 choices or dessert! Also the pizza we normally get wasnt available and the one we ended up with was too spicy (but the first time we had this pizza it wasnt, so not sure how hot its supposed to be). Really disappointed this time. Update: pizzas have been removed from the menu and the price hikes absolutely scream of greed. Foods nice and all but from £5 to £7.50 for a side is an absolute p1ss take. You just lost 2 loyal customers.

Vegan junk food at it's best. A modern vegan eatery, serving mainly gourmet burgers and pizzas. The dishes are really inventive and use a lot of vegan alternatives to meat and cheese.

Great vegan food at a very reasonable price. If you ever need to convince non-vegans that vegan "junk" food can taste miles better the non-vegan junk food, this is the place to take them. Make sure you have the twice fried chips. They are amazing.

The staff were lovely but, I didn't enjoy the food. Also I had to come home and get straight in the shower because myself and my clothes stank of the frying fat, which made me feel sick😕

Don't get me wrong... This is hands down my favourite restaurant. The food is great, the staff are friendly and I am often prone to spontaneous cravings of the Mac n Trees pizza. However, the decision to switch to deliveroo has marred an otherwise brilliant delivery service. The menu is much more limited than it used to be with now only two dessert options. Under the old delivery service you could select from from multiple choices from the deli counter which always made the whole experience just that tad bit special. I hope they are able to rectify this and offer a greater choice again. ________________UPDATE_____________________ Really sad to see that the pizzas have now been removed from the menu and the prices have been hiked! £££ It wasn't exactly cheap before but I was happy to support a small local business providing decent vegan food. This, however, seems like the typical 'vegan tax' money grab and I won't be returning.

The menu is incredibly creative. The food has so much flavour! Absolutely everything is vegan and they have a lot to choose from. It might be not the healthiest restaurant but definitely worth to visit. They sell deserts so you can take them home: cookies, cheesecakes.. you name it. You can also find some homemade mozzarella, the consistency and flavour is so similar to the real thing! Even non vegans will enjoy the visit.

Absolutely amazing food! The food was better than anything I've had in other vegan restaurants so far. I was very impressed and would highly recommend this not only to vegans. The service was brilliant and in very nice surroundings. I had the seitan ribs with fake bacon Mac and cheese. I would definitely encourage you to try it .

We visited for a pre-theatre meal on 22 January. We had been told on booking that there was an informal menu due to staff shortages. Our burgers were amazing and we almost wish we hadn't ordered fries as a side as the portions were huge. The fries were amazing so it was a tough decision whether to eat all the burger or the fries. Staff were lovely and friendly. Fantastic to find a vegan restaurant offering such a great choice at reasonable prices. Will definitely go again if I am in Plymouth

Brought my girlfriend here for our anniversary meal and it did not disappoint, everything was incredible from the food to the staff to the funky music playing! Such a wonderful atmosphere and the best place around for yummy vegan food. I had the spicy chix burger and it was super hot but very lush. Will be back very soon!

My granddaughter has a dairy allergy so we thought we were safe eating here. But my little granddaughter broke out with her allergy while eating. We talked to staff who just said there is no dairy here, and didn't really care at all we left our meal paid in full no apology no discount. We the had to go to chemist for medication. Please be aware of eating here with a food allergy. ?

Was already really expensive and somewhere we would go as a treat but the recent price rises make it totally unaffordable now. And where have the pizzas gone? Was literally all my partner would ever order. Big mistake. Wont be returning.

Such great naughty vegan junk food. Who said vegans were healthy? 😅😂 All jokes aside, the mozza stix were DELICIOUS. Brie burger - messy but tasty as heck. Chicken was great, poppers were greater! Tomato dipping sauce with the mozza stix was incredible. Coleslaw was tasty and a nice refresher along with the rest of the bucket for 1. Worth the price for sure!

Such an amazing vegan restaurant/takeaway - the menu is so creative and the food is delicious! The staff are also incredibly diligent; they actually called me once I placed my order to double check my dietary requirements!!! I love that! Me and my sister occasionally visit this restaurant, I must have been about 8 times now. This place is a fantastic vegan restaurant, They welcome you with a very friendly service, Very helpful and polite during your visit. I must admit I'm not a vegan as such but my sister is, and although I'm used to eating meat, this is a wonderful alternative. The food has alot of flavour and care, as well as being very filling. If you're looking for a good vegan restaurant in plymouth, this is the one.

This is probably the best Vegan Junk Food I have ever enjoyed. It's amazing to have it in Plymouth. My go to is the Hashtag Burger and a Tiramisu for pudding.

Still my favourite vegan restaurant ever (and I've tried a lot). Not living in Plymouth at the moment and massively missing takeout's from here (and eating in when that was a thing). Bacun mac cheese is insanely good! Love the hoisin posin dirty fries . And loved the banana blossum fish (dont know if they still do it). The cakes are great too!

Can't speak highly enough of this place. We have ordered so much from them and it's always been on point! During these times I hope people put their money in the back pocket of the likes of Samphire Brasserie instead of these naff big food chains. Amazing work keep it up and stay safe.

We've never eaten in but every takeaway that we've had has been absolutely delicious, both the mains and the deserts. Also do great weekday offers which make them even better! Highly recommend them for tasty vegan junk food

I have always enjoyed my food whenever I visit. Tonight was no exception. Absolutely EPIC vegan burger and fries. As always mega friendly and knowledgeable staff, and still great covid measures in place. YOU SHOULD EAT HERE!

I never leave reviews but I really like the place and I hope that they take it to heart, as I would love to continue to support a small independent vegan restaurant in Plymouth (with great staff!). However, with what feels like a reduction in the portion size and the removal of sides/chips with the burgers, it just doesn't provide good valve for money. I get that times are not easy within hospitality, but you will loose customers like this (me included).

Amazing. All of us had great burgers and loaded fries (so full!), and my little one with allergies was well catered for.

Good atmosphere and cozy location. I really enjoyed the "cheese" pizza and my friend had the fake mac. The pizza was great, but the fake mac was a bit disappointing. Still 5 stars though due to its ethical stance, nice homely atmosphere and attentive staff. Plus my pizza was delicious

Great food - especially the #hashtag burger. Memories of fillet tower burgers ... but this was SO MUCH BETTER. Brilliant vegan place and the staff were lovely too.

Lovely food and as a new vegan I was desperate for that chocolate ice cream fix, and their ice cream sundae did not disappoint! I also highly recommend the bacon mac n cheese, it tastes amazingly like normal mac n cheese! All in all a great experience, very kind staff and a friendly atmosphere.

We have now had our 3rd takeaway from here since lockdown, and it really has become a treat. We both agreed these are the best burgers and fries we've had; better than McDonalds or anywhere similar. We're not all vegan in our house, but this would really satisfy anyone. Looking forward to trying all the other options on the menu. Will continue the tradition long after lockdown i'm sure!

Ordered a burger and fries through Uber eats, only the fries turned up. Rang up to sort it out, person on the phone didn’t care that I didn’t have my food (didn’t get a refund either) Not needed at times like this, will never use again. Avoid if you like getting a complete order delivered!

For the best vegan eats this is the place to go. Everytime I visit a Plymouth this is a place that I need to go into - their food and service are top notch.

First of all I am not vegan but we took my daughter here for her birthday as she wanted to try vegan and wow I was gobsmacked, I had a cheese burger and it was the best burger ive had it tasted amazing my daughter ordered a mac and cheesefor her starter it was amazing, all four of us really enjoyed our food and we will be going back, the price was very reasonable and the service and atmosphere was excellent.

Mac & trees pizza is amazing

If you thought that being vegan meant that you couldn't get meat sweats, then Samphire Brasserie is ready to prove you wrong. Familiar comfort foods in generous portions that taste so great that you'll not be able to stop eating until you give yourself crippling indigestion. Would go back to try every item on the menu.

Very good food, good prices and staff who genuinely believe in making the world a little bit better through food and the whole dining experience. Door can slam a bit in the wind but otherwise a very warm, welcome and unpretentious experience with Divine treat food.

I've enjoyed this restaurant for years, and the introduction of their new 'saver' options has helped combat the past price increases really well. Great food all round, whether you're vegan or not.

The menu choices, portion sizes and brie dippers were particular highlights.

There was a really nice atmosphere at Samphire Brasserie with music being played on an old record player. Staff were really nice. Not pushy like so many others these days. Food was amazing. I'm not vegan (yet), but restaurant made a good case for the Wife. Vegan food can be delicious. Well done Samphire Brasserie five stars.
