Restaurant Vegetarian restaurant

😐 Decided to visit due to all the great reviews. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype. Service was good, with friendly staff but the food was pretty bland and felt like it was pricey for what it was. Maybe it was the menu on the day but I wouldn't go back myself. People often mention good, vegetarian, staff, great, Lovely, Great, lovely, amazing, Delicious, vegan,

Absolutely amazing food here! Great choices and it's so nice to visit somewhere dedicated to vegetarian food. There are also many gluten-free and vegan options.

Lovely little restaurant however only stayed for a drink due to the waitress. From the offset she made us feel uncomfortable and was down right rude; not hospitable at all. Decided to pass on staying for a meal and went somewhere where we felt more welcome.

The spanakopitta was tasty which I'd definitely like to have again. I found the stir fry with spicy peanut sauce to be quite dry. Staff were pleasant, ambience was calm with eastern/Asian music playing softly in the background.

Just the best Vegetarian Cafe I've visited in a long time. Dogs are welcome in the lovely garden in the back. They have a great seating area there that has a Marquee so rain is not an issue. Food was excellent as was the coffee. All with both Vegan and Vegetarian options

Willow is definitely one of our most favorite vegetarian go to restaurant when we are in Totnes. So excuse me if we are a bit biased, but we genuinely love it. Key points first : it is Vegetarian, with lot of Vegan options + Every single day they have house carrot cake that is gluten free + dairy free + sugar free ( icing is with coconut cream ) . I am not vegan myself, but my partner is gluten intolerant and plus this is absolutely delicious as well. Also we love the fact that it is truly international. They make seasonal food from all over the word, all vegetarian and still no shortage in variety. Oh that's another thing we love, they make all of their food ( not orders, brought and sold - you can see their live and always cooking kitchen :-) ) . All the local ladies who work there have such good heart.. just very pleasing for us that their hands made the food. During December holiday season though, be careful and call them/check their timings - they open very limited ... i think just evenings . Some of our favorites : tasty bruschetta's, soups , yummy salads, carrot cake, pastas, real yummy curries, Indian and others , OH the amazing vegetarian version of minced meat pie ( i think they make it with orange and dry fruits ) + also check out veggie goulash ( Hungarian stew ) - somewhat like Indian stew but still very unique and yummy. I have posted few pictures, all in all we recommend it highly. its a perfect restaurant in Totnes, on the busy High St. very walk-able street, very edible place and very accessible .. lovely.

Had an amazing lunch here, lots was sold out, but that’s only ever a good thing! The side salads were tasty, it was all really filling, staff were delightful, carafe of wine was perfect. Just wish I’d asked to buy a bottle of the peach juice because it was amazing! Sat outside in the sun next to a little water feature.

A fair go at vegetarian but not organic. Food a bit flavourless. Felt rushed when it wasn’t busy. Veg because it’s fashionable not as an ethos.

Food good, rude man working there, stopped live music to ask us in front of the other customers whether we had paid, despite another staff member sanctioning us nipping to the cash point as its cash only. Embarrassing and unnecessary, changed my mind about the place, thought it was friendly.

Went here last night and it was amazing! Delicious food, the ambiance was so nice! Loved listening to the guitar when we were eating, the food was so filling too! I had to undo a notch on my belt after the first course and by the time I got to the car I had to take my belt off completely I was that stuffed! Super reasonable prices, the staff were lovely, would definitely recommend! The salad dressing is the best thing I've ever tasted in my entire life, I had to buy a bottle! Amazing night! 20/10 ?

Amazing vegetarian and vegan food, sugar and gluten-free dessert options. The ingredients in the salads are very fresh and portions are large. My favorite place to eat in Totnes. There is a lovely garden at the back. The staff is also very friendly and dogs are allowed in.

Lovely vegetarian food, really enjoyed cashew nut paella, I had splashed on a generous glug of chili oil as well, served with a fresh pea and yellow split pea salad with a mint dressing. Lovely wholesome food. Staff friendly and full of character, good served quick. Reminded me of Herbie's in Exeter but better. Happy to recommend this restaurant.

Not to be missed and being a omnivore this is a great accolade. The food is beautiful and super tasty. If you can find any criticism of the flavours you are confused in my opinion. A must whatever you dinning preference. Plus the cake was fabulous as well the Carrot cake was the best I have ever eaten and that is real saying something I have had a few over the years. If you think I am over rating, pay them.a visit and judge for yourself...... I challenge you ?

Amazing vegetarian restaurant in Totnes. Visited as part of a wedding present and it's a beautiful setting with a bespoke daily menu including unique potato wedges dip, aubergine lasagne and butternut squash bake paired with a lovely wine and all locally sourced ingredients. A must for any veggy/vegan visitors to Devon

Have been going here when in Totnes, since the 70’s! Always good. However, in July this year, I had a bad experience. The vegan quiche, was inedible! The pastry not cooked, and the sauce tasted like raw flour! Could eat very little of it. I told the waiter and the chef, who said ‘ most people don’t eat the base’!! I described it as grim! Left hungry and no compensation!! So an expensive, disappointing lunch. The salad was great! I don’t feel inclined to return, such lack of concern about the feedback! Disappointing after all these years!
