Amazing and tasty donuts. Loved every bit. They also sell yesterday's donuts for half price but they're just as amazing and juicy as anything. They sell out pretty quick and even have large queues so try to get their first thing. You definitely won't regret it!

I took a trip today to York, a place I’ve not visited in more than 30 years!!!. I do photography as a hobby and I mainly went for the great buildings and historic architecture. However, I knew at some point through the day, food would be a priority. I’d heard of @doebakehouse from a friend as they knew I liked doughnuts so I thought I’d give it a try. Just walking up to the shop window, I remembered what it was like to be a kid again looking in a sweet shop window. There were so many different ones to choose from. After going inside a girl called Erin served me, she was excellent, friendly, professional and knowledgeable about each of the doughnuts. We settled on a box of four for me to take back home to Liverpool. As I was going to be spending a while in York, I didn’t want to carry them around as I knew they’d get bashed about. Erin suggested leaving them for me to pick up later in the day. Great customer service 👌🏻👌🏻 Probably just as well that this place is not on my doorstep as I’d be in there everyday. The doughnuts are very fresh, tasty and packed with flavour but without being sickly sweet. Great with a cup of coffee or two. Highly recommend the store and produce - I will definitely go back again.

Very naughty but utterly delicious doughnuts and other bakes. Good choice of vegan flavours available. Had a half lotus half oreo doe-nut which was very, very good the donut is light fluffy and well made and slathered with some serious icing combos.

Great little place with very polite attentive staff oh and did I mention some bloody good doughnuts. We had the lemon meringue and berry glaze. The lemon might have just pipped the berry at being our favourite but both were really really good. Defiantly need to revisit on our next visit.

Had the peanut butter and jam donut and my mum had the passion fruit. 100% would recommend the pb&j! Heavenly! I’m not even a donut person but damn that was good.

A cute little donut shop. Nice and quiet when we stopped for a hot drink and donut. Shop was clean and staff was friendly. We went on the Friday as the donut looked delicious and we wasn’t disappointed. However we went to go back on Sunday to buy a box of donuts to travel home with and they had doubled in price which I was a little disappointed so we didn’t end up buying a box. I just thought that was a little naughty but oh well. But other than that, we enjoyed it in there.

The Vegan eclair we had we just average the staff was very friend and place was clean . I am giving 3 star because of the taste of eclair.

You can tell how good a bakery is by how busy it is. The queue was big enough to know it was worth a visit but service was excellent so no long hold up. The beef and veg pasty was enjoyed by myself and the kids. The cakes all looked amazing. The bread we took home was so tasty we will definitely go again next time we are in York.

Wow! What a donut 🍩 I've never has such a yummy treat in years. Its so tasty and with a coffee, the perfect drop in treat after your wander around York. The Staff were wonderfully kind and friendly. You can take your dogs in there too for a cuppa. First time visiting but it won't be my last. The donuts are delicious 😋

Friendly staff, hot chocolate was good, and donuts appeared popular. I found the interior a little tired and in need of attention. To be fair does that detract from going? I guess if you love donuts then that is a no.

5 ⭐ for the adorable staff 5 ⭐ for the cute place, dog friendly 5 ⭐ for the large amount vegan options 1 ⭐ for the food: I regretted it at the very first bite. Way way WAY too sweet, could feel the sugar crunching between teeth. It was awful. For a sweet tooth like me, I was shocked. Felt like gagging forcing myself finishing it because I hate food waste 😭 I'm so sorry guys I really wanted to like it, especially for fellow vegan folks. But my experience with this donut was awful...

We went this morning for a small black coffee, can of coke and 2 donuts (£13!) and we not greeted when we came in as 3 members of staff were 'busy' all talking to each other and on their phones. No glass or ice was offered for the coke even though there were empty glasses on all the tables. The girl who served us forgot our order almost immediately after we said it and so had to ask us again. It would have been nice if the staff showed a little more interest in their customers. The tables were sticky to the touch and covered in crumbs and sprinkles, the floor was even worse and they were all just sat there chatting the whole time! There was also a missed opportunity as there were around 15-20 people outside when we left all looking and taking pictures of the donuts in the window, but noone smiled or said hello or tried to invite them in as they were chatting & sat on counter tops laughing, so they all left. Poor service, poor hygiene, poor atmosphere. All we can hope is that the donuts are tasty. If not, literally no reason to return. Step it up guys & maybe think about hiring some staff that actually want to be there?

Absolutely delicious doughnuts, the best I've had as they had that real fresh taste/ texture with a slightly crisp edge. Generous in size too- The vegan Simpson one was so yummy I didn't want it to end, also had the white choc and raspberry one filled with a cream and that was great too. They are a bit more pricey than you'd expect at £4 each but was happy to pay it as they were so much better than anywhere else 😁

Ordered a box of donuts and had a hiccup with it not arriving (DPD) Ellis was kind to re-arrange another order which arrived successfully. The donuts were lovely and this was a review I forgot to post last year. Obviously, customer service was so nice and prompt that I still remember it today when I saw their newsletter.

Honestly the donuts look amazing but don't taste it, they are very bland, we were excited to go here as they had plenty of vegan options but the Oreo one had hard sugar as the icing and the donut itself was plain and tasted like a bagel, the peanut butter one was much better with thin glazing icing but still pretty bland, the jam bits were nice. Only giving three stars as the shop was nice and so was the staff but overall a disappointing experience especially with the donuts being so expensive (4 for 14)

Trekked on an early morning to get my donut fix. They were really good, huge size and a bit sickening after the 4th-5th bite. I believe there is too much icing on many, but I absolutely loved the salted caramel one. That was a revelation.

It was absolutely awesome and I'll be there happily. I wasn't expecting that kinda delicious coffee but doughnuts was not the only thing that was perfect, but also coffees. Very kind and friendly staff. There might be a little bit better atmosphere but that's not a big problem at all.

How could we not try a box of these! Walked passed multiple times but we finally caved in. The chap on the counter was lovely, talking us through the options available - so many to choose from!! But they are great! Didn’t last long though.

Came across this shop in York that had amazing donuts! We are vegan so it was even more special when they had loads of vegan options. They also offer alternatives to milk so we sat down inside and had amazing donuts with cappuccino. A place to visit for all sweet tooth lovers. Staff were also very friendly :)

If your ever in York you have to give this place a try. Donut selection is next level! Can't rate these enough, there was a bit of a que but you can see why, big fluffy well filled donuts. We got a selection but there were so many others we wanted to try.

Really enjoyed my experience here. Great donut selection and nice staff. The donut dough was nice and light Ans the frosting wasn't overly sweet. Will def be back.

Yum yum yum. The staff are amazing. We thought they was closed but they was still open. A must try. Worth every single penny. Prices start from £1.50 >.
