Always enjoyed Humpit in Leeds, so when i spotted the Sheffield one, I just had to drop by to pick up some lunch. The seating and serving area is small, so when I arrived shortly after opening time, there was a small queue, so waited outside for about 5 minutes. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Opted for a Hummus bowl with Falafel and a wholemeal pitta, which I thought was very reasonably priced for the serving, and got a pack of Cheeky P (roasted chickpeas) for a snack later. The bowl was delicious, with beautifully smooth hummus, pickle, perfect falafel (crisp on the outside, but not dry in the middle) and fragrant tabbouleh. I felt so full for the rest of the day, I didn't eat the snack until the following day. Will definitely be a regular haunt for lunch when I'm at work.

The best falafel I ever had, a fantastic combination of food with people's attitude; they care to explain and suggest the best assortment of sauces for the chosen dish even during the busy lunch hours. Must visit place if you love Hummus and Falafel.

Can’t get enough of this place. The food is delicious. Tried their jalapeño hummus for the first time yesterday and I’ve been daydreaming about it all day. My mouth literally waters when I think of this place. The staff are just lovely. So welcoming and friendly! I only come to Sheffield for work which means I have to wait until Tuesday so I can visit again. I wish these guys had a restaurant closer to Derby. 1000/10 🤤❤️

I ordered inside and ate at the one table outside. A wide spectrum of pulses, grains, salad and pitta. Lots of textures and flavours.

The Queue was out the door, thats how amazing it is. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is incredible with wonderful portion sizes. Lots of little condiments and hummus options to buy on the side. Go hungry, you will want everything.

Incredible food. I prefer the salad bowl to the filled pitta but whichever I choose I always get the fried cauliflower filling. I didn’t know cauliflower could taste that good! I’m usually a big meat eater but this is one of the few places where the veggie options win me over!

Great lunch options that are full of flavour and are much healthier than fast food options around here. The staff are very kind and explain all the options of you feel overwhelmed by the choices in display.

Food is great HOWEVER the slow speed they make it is ridiculous. Always a queue out the door for lunch but the staff seem completely oblivious as they slowly and carefully assemble each pita like they are trying to file a tax return. You only serve 4 things, surely you can find a more efficient way of preparing food. Lunch time happens at the same time every day, it doesn't have to be a surprise.

Ate here today 19/10/21, had a falafel salad box and my partner had a spicy kebab pita. Within one hour we both got severe stomach pain, had to leave my lecture and partner may have to phone in sick for work tomorrow. Also bought the regular fries which were very undercooked. Will never go back 😅

The food is great here, I would recommend a salad box with Falafel. The green spicy sauce is actually spicy. But most of all, the people who work here are super chilled out and it's that that prompted this review.

Humpit is always a solid lunch choice - crispy falafels, pillowy pitta and tasty fresh salad. I reccomend it to most people and they always enjoy it.

Such a simple concept but a firm favourite when I come to Sheffield, a tasty cheap lunch. I always go for the bowl and add falafel. So good!

I had the Hummus Bowl which Falafel, the hummus was good and the falafel was nicely spiced. I wasn't blown away and I think it is slightly over priced. I would happily go back and try another dish.

Delicious and nutritious vegan food at very reasonable prices. Super warm and friendly staff who immediately made us feel at home and shared some tips on other local places to try.

I'm not usually a humus kind of person. The stuff I've had before was bland and quite frankly boring even when made by friends. I pick up the surplus stock from the Sheffield branch to do with as I deem fit (either give you the community or to my animals). This evening I was offered a massive tub of humus, I'm guessing as a thank you for reducing their waste. My 5yo will eat anything so I took it for her. As we got home I plonked some on her bagel and I had to try some. It's delish!!! It's on no par with beef spread and chicken pate. There's flavor, there's substance, there's enjoyment. We have enjoyed this as a fakeaway tonight. Speaking as someone who feels biast on the meat debate this is an amazing alternative. Long story short, even if you think you prefer meat, treat yourself to a health twist, embrace a change.

I normally really like this sort of place but the bowl I hadn't didn't work for me. The falafel were too hard, the hummus had a weird taste, and the ratio of salad to hummus was off (far too much hummus). Pitta was decent.

I was thinking today about ordering a regular kebab with meat on UberEats, but nothing looked appetising to me. I have found this restaurant to be the only thing that looked good and had decent prices, so I went to order, even though I was quite hesitant after finding out everything they served is vegan. I gave a chance to the pita with falafel and veggies, fries and ice tea. To be honest, I had to wait quite long, but once I saw the kebab and tasted it… Absolutely no regrets. It is spectacular – full of flavour with fresh ingredients and very nice packaging. I totally recommend it.

Super tasty food and good value for money with big portions. One of my favourite lunchtime spots!

I had a pita filled with falafel. I really liked the hummus and the fresh pita bread, however the falafel wasn’t my favorite. I like falafel to be crunchy from the outside and fluffy inside, the falafel here are crunchy from inside and outside, some people like it but it’s not for me. However I might come again for the pita and hummus.

I was introduced to this place by a veggie colleague and it didn't disappoint. It is obviously very popular as at 12.30 there was a small queue outside. They appear to be very efficient so it moved along quickly. Staff were super friendly and I tried the falafel in pitta with salad and various other bits. It was totally delicious. Falafel was light and soft in the inside and crisp on the outside. Lots of tasty fresh salad and dressings too. We took another colleague who isn't veggie and he was pretty impressed too.

Great place to grab lunch. Staff are really nice but maybe a bit slow in preparing the food. There’s always a bit of a queue when I head there but it’s worth the wait.

I used to eat here a lot when it first opened but due to a change in work location I don't visit nearly as much. The food is basic but great quality. Falafel and humus in a pitta with salad or a larger salad without the pitta and variations thereof. That's not really doing it justice but if that's your thing it is second to none. A great lunchtime meal for £4.50 and healthy too.

Love it. Can fully recommend the spicy kebab. I'm not even veggie let alone vegan.

First time eating here and I loved it! I got the hummus bowl which was HUGE. The staff were so lovely and made sure I got exactly what toppings I wanted on the bowl. I will definitely go back to try their other salads and side dishes as they all look incredible. Everything is reasonably priced for the amount you get. Pictured was £6, sides are around £2 each, and there are sharing platters for £15 for two people or £28 for four. You can also get it delivered :)

It’s a mixture of many vegetarian things but it’s not actually proper flafel sandwich, could be also etter service as it’s most busy.

This restaurant is my first choice place. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. Whenever I I need a superb dinner, this place comes first to my mind. extremely good and many types of food and a rich menu.generous team, and good atmosphere. Also, the cost is modest. I sent my friends to this restaurant with no hesitation.

Humpit has the best vegan food in Sheffield. I don't know how to put into words how delicious and nutritious their loaded pita is. It's amazing. Their tea is a thrilling experience too, sweet or not. I like it so much. I hope you will have an equally blessed experience there. It really is great 🙏🏻
