Probably could have rated it 3.5 but the food just wasn't so amazing and a bit bland. They count the snacks as a part of a course as well as the palette cleanser which would have been fine if everything was delicious but unfortunately not the case. The main course of pork was probably the best although very small portion. The menu made it sound like there would be intricate dishes but the taste just wasn't there. Dishes looked a lot nicer than what it was. Service was quite good and the restaurant ambience lovely. Shame about the food.

Great service in an intermittent restaurant. The wine pairing is a must if you are doing the tasting menu. It paired really well with the food and the sommelier took her time to explain. We found the food to be lacking compared to similar priced tasting menus elsewhere, it felt almost aesthetic over flavour. The dessert was a highlight.

Amazing experience. We had the vegan 10 course lunch taster menu which they also managed to make mostly gluten free for me. To have a cheese course as a vegan was a real novelty, and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pied a Terre that offers an 8-course tasting menu, and I must say it was an exquisite culinary experience. Here is my detailed review: Ambiance: The restaurant had a cozy and elegant atmosphere, with dimmed lighting. The tables were well-spaced, allowing for a comfortable and private dining experience. The overall ambiance created a relaxing and upscale feel. Service: The restaurant's service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. They provided detailed descriptions of each dish and were readily available whenever we needed assistance. The pacing between each course was just right, allowing us to savor and appreciate each dish. Food: The highlight of the evening was, of course, the 8-course tasting menu. Each course was a work of art, perfectly crafted and beautifully presented. The flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients used were fresh and high-quality. It was evident that a great deal of thought and creativity went into the menu. Some standout dishes included: 1. Eggs Kayianna: A bite-sized delight that set the tone for the meal. It was a refreshing combination of flavors that left us excited for what was to come. 2. Oven Roasted Celeriac "Scallop": A perfectly seared “scallop” served with a delicate pickled beetroot and accompanied by Caper leaves. The freshness was evident, and the combination of flavors was exquisite. 3. Feville de Brick - Chablis : A succulent piece of Chablis cheese served with a rich green Apricot Jam and a medley of Cornish Leaf Salad. The cheese is filtered through Chablis to give it its name. 4. Strawberry Milleteuille : A decadent strawberry Milleteuille served with a cream Diplomat. The milleteuille was smooth and velvety, while the basil added a refreshing touch. It was a delightful end to the meal. Overall Experience: Dining at this restaurant and experiencing the 8-course tasting menu was truly a memorable experience. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the ambiance to the service and, most importantly, the food, was commendable. The quality and creativity of the dishes made it well worth the price. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience, whether it be for a special occasion or simply to indulge in a culinary adventure.

One of my favourite restaurants. It was our second time here and tasting menu was perfect this time! We had 8 courses tasting menu. I had regular and my partner had vegan one. Both were great and my favourite was panna cotta with pears in wine!! I could just visit for this dessert. Every dish is described and people working at this place creating magical atmosphere. Really good restaurant for romantic lunch or dinner.

Tasty food, not warranting the price point - 1st time @ Pied a Terre . The visit at Pied a Terre came with a huge expectation, given their reputation and signature tasting menus. The food was well presented and tasted nice - but nothing extraordinary. Some of the cooking techniques felt outdated and lacked layers of flavour. Same goes for the service! The waiters were perfectly professional, but overall the experience felt too stuffy. Lastly, for the price we paid, you can find better food and drinks in London. Details below: Party size: 2 Atmosphere: 6.5/10 Service: 7/10 Food: 7.5/10 Drinks: 7/10 Value for price: 76.5/10 Standout: vegan carbonara Disappointed: fish and vegetable main courses

Looking back, the carpet at the entrance to the dining room was perhaps a sign that all would not be well on our trip to Pied a Terre. It gave off a slight smell reminiscent of an old pub and was slightly tacky underfoot - unexpected for a Michelin-starred restaurant. Even when we were seated at a large table - the only thing generous during the night - there was a strange tension in the air. Despite the lack lustre welcome I remained hopeful that Pied a Terre hadn’t lost its passion given how long it’s held that star for. We started our tasting menu journey with the tiniest trio of largely unremarkable snacks - the best of which was a smaller-than-bite-sized portion of smoked sardine. This was followed by a pleasant and pretty cauliflower and trout mousse dish. “How was it?” Asks our assigned front of house (FOH) person. “Fine. It could have done with a touch of citrus,” I reply. “I’ll tell the chef,” he says. My least favourite dish followed. It’s hard to get a dish that’s mainly potato right though not impossible (Restaurant Story a few years back A+). Where to begin with this one - grainy yet gluey, overworked mash served cold with a salted cod skordalia (which I couldn’t taste), one ring of crispy shallot, garlic, dill and caviar. I couldn’t manage more than the one chilly teaspoonful - it was that unpleasant. As if sensing my discomfort our FOH guy asks: “How was it?” “Not for me,” I say. “I’ll tell the chef,” he replies with a frown. The asparagus and crayfish that came next was okay but under seasoned and lukewarm. “Yeh nice,” I tell the FOH. I’m starting to feel under pressure. Our fourth course - red mullet on top of a firm mousse, courgette flower stuffed with mousse and one morel stuffed with the same mousse served with a harissa sauce without a hint of heat. I feel FOH’s presence looming: “How was it?” “Ok though wasn’t expecting the same mousse in the fish, courgette and mushroom.” His eyes, face and voice light up: “Ahhh well chef tried it with 3 different mousses and it didn’t work. So if he’s gonna do 3 mousses they’re gonna be the same.” “Ok,” I say hesitating… “But why do you need three mousses? A perfectly cooked piece of red mullet already has flavour.” He blinks and looks a bit crestfallen…”I’ll tell the chef.” Up next the main - assiete of rabbit, thankfully perfectly cooked and tender, with carrot, sea buckthorn and a cep reduction. “Are you just saying it’s ‘nice’ cos you’re worried about me telling the chef? asks FOH. “Errrm. It was nice…could have been warmer,” I grimace. The palette cleansers/pre desserts were pretty tasty especially the cherries with melon and mint sorbet and to my surprise - the best course was yet to come. I dislike strawberries so the millefeuille was out for me. My vegan substitute - a chocolate mousse with a balsamic beetroot sorbet was outstanding. Our weary FOH: “How was it?” “Truly delicious. That sorbet is phenomenal.” “Great. I’ll tell the chef.” He looked so happy I didn’t have the heart to add the mousse needed to be a touch sweeter to counteract the near painful sourness of the sorbet. Pied a Terre - pretty food but ultimately a soulless experience. It’s not a returner for me though glad to have ticked it off the list.

Ridiculously overpriced for what it was. Small portions throughout, I left the restaurant still hungry and I don't overeat generally. Awful vegetarian menu, my main course was 3 bites of artichoke. And the canapé of a solitary radish was the least inventive and most underwhelming thing to eat. Inflation of wine menu is terrible, 2 glasses of wine are the same price as a bottle anywhere else. Have had much better quality food at cheaper Michelin restaurants. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone.

I absolutely love it. I've been twice. The staff is so nice, I love the feeling of the place and the food!!!!!!!! Amazing. I had the rasta pasta twice and the sweet and sour mushrooms. THE KALE SALAD!!! The orange is the new black drink and some desserts. My favorite was the lavender cupcake. It's a tad pricey for dinner but honestly I got so full.

A real gem of a restaurant. The service was friendly and engaging (without being over the top). The team were knowledgeable and helpful on the menu - and made some excellent wine pairings. The food itself was really high quality - French cuisine but with a Greek influence, and the tasting menu ensured that we tried a lot of dishes that we wouldn't normally select. Overall one of the best restaurants we've ever visited - highly recommend.

Stunning dinner experience at Pied a Terre. The vegan dinner tasting menu was divine, and each vegan wine paired with the dishes elevated the dish in different ways. The service was impeccable. We were well taken care off from even before we arrived. We celebrated our engagement at the restaurant which we were congratulated about upon arriving. I will look back on the Mayan chocolate mousse with particular fondness. I've never tasted chocolate that rich.

We don't often do fine dining as the atmosphere isn't usually our thing but we loved it. We are both vegan and gluten free which wasn't a problem. We had the 8 course and they were all amazing. Would recommend!

This is a lovely restaurant and after having eaten there we easily understood why it has had a Michelin star for over 25 years. We had booked a late lunch for the 5 course menu with a complimentary glass of champagne. The restaurant exterior is quite unobtrusive and is in a parade of other restaurants/cafes and small shops. Inside on the ground floor the restaurant is divided into 2 dining areas, one in the front of the building with about 8 tables and a larger dining area at the back with about 10 tables which is still quite small but a mirror along one wall makes it feel much larger. The entrance is between the 2 dining areas Upstairs are further dining areas including a chef's table. The food was very good and full of flavour. Bread was served with the champagne - a marmite brioche, focaccia and crusted bread. The canapes were smoked eel which I don't normally like but this were excellent. The first "main course" was called the Garden of Eden, a cold dish of small vegetables including potato which were cut so they stood up on a thick mushroom sauce. The effect was the dish looked like a small forest. It wasnt quite what I was expecting but the mushroom sauce was amazing .For the meat dish we were served pork. Thinish strips of pork which were placed in a circle surrounding a lovely ju in the middle with a small piece of belly of pork with crackling to one side. Not only was it a very generous portion but it was beautifully cooked and well presented. For the first of our two desserts we were served a lime sorbet with a greek yoghurt, a perfect palate cleanser, and the second dessert was a chocolate dessert which full of flavour and not too heavy. . The service matched the food and was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive and personable and not intrusive. All the courses were served in a timely manner without any long pauses and at no time did we feel rushed though it was getting quite late. The wine list is comprehensive and reasonably priced for a Michelin starred restaurant We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Pied a Terre and we look forward to going back there again

I can't understand how this place still keeps a Micheling star. My wife invited me to dinner at Pied a Terre for my birthday in September. We had to leave after the third dish of the Chef's tasting menu (yeah, the long, "surprise", overpriced one). Food was totally bland, mainly composed of dull tasting soups with crumbs of food such as liver or other things that didn't actually match the taste. Service was bad, very bad. Demotivated waiters and a sumiller that wouldn't explain anyting about the wine pairing other than provide a very brief, factual explanations of the wine without any context on how the selected wines pair with the dishes. I haven't experienced this in any other restaurant with wine pairing (Michelin starred or not). When my wife got the bill, they had the audacity of overcharging us for the wine and over half of the menu although we didn't actually had more than half of it. We're thinking of filing a formal complain. Recommend to avoid this place at all costs.

VEGANS..having read that this was the No.1 resturant to go to, I'm afraid it didn't live up to it's rating, and we were rather disappointed. I was expecting to be wowed by the flavours and presentation but found it very average, and heavily over seasoned with salt. There was little ambiance and the atmosphere felt flat. You can see that at one time it would have been a lovely place, but it needs updating and to get it's sparkle back.

This place makes you feel amazing and inferior at the same time. Definitely the best vegan sushi in the bay and makes sense there is a long line. It's practically a sport to get a table. This is one of those places where the privilege is yours to eat there..and they make sure you know it.

We had the 8 course taster menu and were looking forward to it very much ... well I'm pleased to say it didn't disappoint. All of the courses were fantastic - brilliant tasty food, superbly presented and described by the excellent staff. A superb experience, topped off nicely with the expertly chosen pairing wines. A night to remember!!

All look… no substance. I was disappointed, it’s the first time I left a Michelin star restaurant hungry. There was a guy with blue trainers that didn’t have the best of manners. Having said that, our waiter was great! But I definitely don’t recommend it, I would not go back, my experience was underwhelming.

A stunning dining experience from start to finish! The tasting menu was made delicious with the Executive Chef's greek touch - my personal highlights were the Egg kayana and the Greek salad. The English sparkling rose wine recommended by the somelier was also exquisite. Excellent service, and very accommodating of allergies.

A Symphony of Flavors at the Exquisite Culinary Art Show on Charlotte Street My dining experience at this coveted culinary retreat on Charlotte Street was nothing short of extraordinary. An ambiance that seamlessly fused charm and sophistication, the establishment served as a fitting backdrop to the true star of the evening - the gastronomic delights curated by Paolo and his supremely skilled team. Their royal treatment towards guests was evident from the start, transforming an ordinary dining event into a truly majestic affair. As we embarked on the 10-course dinner tasting journey, each dish seemed a unique chapter in a flavorful story. Complementing the sublime culinary experience was the expertise of the in-house sommelier, whose recommendations proved flawless and took our gustatory adventure to unparalleled heights. The tantalizing prelude of Canapes was intriguing, each unique and resplendent with complex flavors. The "Eggs Kayianna Fish and Chip Smoked Sardines" offered a sublime fusion of textures, while the "Variegated Cauliflower with Smoked Trout Mousse" paired exquisitely with the zesty twist of Hayward Kiwi. Their reimagining of the humble cod in "Salted Cod Skordolia" was a study in culinary innovation. The crescendo continued with dishes like "White Asparagus with Crayfish" and "Red Mullet Farci", each elegantly adorned with caviars and sauces that danced harmoniously on the palate. The "Assiette of French Rabbit" was a tender tribute to traditional fare, while the "Feuille de Brick" offered a delightful play on textures and flavors. The tasting journey was rounded off with a medley of divine desserts, the standout being the "Strawberry Millefeuille" and the intricate "Canele de Bordeaux", each crafted with such precision and passion that they were, in their own right, masterpieces of culinary artistry. The stellar reputation of this Michelin 2023 restaurant is truly deserved. It is more than just a dining destination, it is a veritable celebration of gastronomy. Every dish is a testament to the team's commitment to high-quality ingredients, innovative techniques, and their unwavering commitment to providing an unparalleled dining experience. With a team that treats its patrons as royalty and a menu that reads like an ode to fine dining, this restaurant on Charlotte Street is a must-visit culinary spectacle for all those who seek to experience a symphony of flavors. It is, beyond doubt, the epitome of top-tier dining.

Phenomenal! One of the best Michelin starred experiences I had at one of the longest standing starred restaurant in London. The menu, French-Greek fusion (from the talented Greek executive chef Asimakis) is simply phenomenal. Every dish is an artistic masterpiece and every plate a sensual explosion of senses, colour, taste, texture and fragrance all in one. Service is fantastic, attentive and discreet and the sommelier very knowledgeable and amusing indeed.

PaT offers everything you would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant: knowledgeable sommelier, politeness, excellent execution, great flavours and ambiance. I highly recommend the deer and pork mains. I wouldn't say I was particularly surprised by anything that was served ... it is also worth noting that one could go to Roux and dine at 2/3rds of the price. However it was very enjoyable and I would go back again.

Disappointed by the restaurant. We've been there end of November. The menu was okay but a bit overpriced, but we expected better for a Michelin star restaurant. The members of the staff are nice and respect the covid restrictions (i.e masks) EXCEPT for the manager... That day there was someone filming the restaurant (the Economist if I remember correctly), so first they filming first and then asked us if we were fine with being filmed (which we were not but they should have asked before filming...) and when the manager asked us if we were fine to be filmed he came literally right next to us without a mask, basically he was the only one not wearing a mask which made us very uncomfortable... Very disappointing to see a Michelin star restaurant with a manager who does not respect the distanciation rules while the rest of the staff does... And thanks to the owner for replying in the comment on the only mistake we did... you are right we were there end of October instead of November. Hope that the photo of my reservation will be enough for you to take into account that the restaurant did not respect the rule to wear mask for all the staff. Again the waiters were wearing it and were really nice.

Very disappointing experience. There are many other Michelin-star restaurants which will give you a much better experience for the same budget or under. Despite the circumstances, I'd still expect pleasant and attentive service, as well as inventive food. This was not the case. Our table was neglected, service took a very long time with no apologies, we had to remind the team to bring the wine on the course which had been served for 15 minutes... Do not recommend, unfortunately.

Just come from a tasting menu dinner at Pied a Terre. Frankly very disappointed. 2 of the 7 courses of the vegetarian tasting menu were quite inedible. One so salty that everyone left it, and a stuffed tomato full of bland and mushy rice which I couldn’t bear to eat. The matched wine with the over salty Jerusalem artichoke was thin and acidic to the point of undrinkable and the Riesling was entirely overpowered by the (admittedly delicious) lime sorbet - though they forgot to serve the promised Greek yogurt part of the dish to the non vegans on the table. Not worth to £200+ per person we paid for a tasting menu with matched wine. To be honest, I am rather surprised that they hold a Michelin star given the mediocre food and experience.

Read about this restaurant and said that they’re trying to regain the lost Michelin star so was having quite high expectation. The first two courses of the tasting menu were good. Flavours all worked and ingredients were fresh. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. Although snails were cooked to perfect, the sauce was way too salty. The ravioli was only a whole snail with the same sauce inside so not sure the point of wrapping it to make into a ravioli. Perhaps different way of making the filling of the ravioli would make the dish more interesting. The seafood dish was cooked ok but then the acidity of the celeriac was way too overpowering. Rabbit was cooked nicely but then again the sauce was too salty to the point of inedible. Cheese dish was good. Pre-dessert was very limey which may help to cleanse the pilate. Dessert itself was nothing very special. The coriander ice cream was nice but the pineapples made the dish tasted cheap. Overall, the food was not outstanding or even specially good. Given it costs over £100 per person for the tasting menu, we would expect much higher quality. With this price range, there are quite a lot more places offer much better food.

This was a delightful place to visit for a girls night out! The fancy radish dish was the best seared radish I have ever had and the vegan fondue was to die for. Cocktail was perfectly balanced-bourbon, dry sherry and chai. I love this place and the friendly staff. Host was extra sweet helping us find open seats at the bar once they were available. Thank you!

We went in late around 9pm on a Friday night and were lucky to get a table immediately without any reservation and all the tables were occupied as the restaurant itself was quite small. The decor was contemporary with an industrial look and the light fixtures were unique. We ordered cheese fondue,Peruvian potatoes,Dan Dan noodles and strawberry sorrel bread pudding. Everything tasted good. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly. The Cons-Portion size is quite small for the price. It costed us around 90$ for two people with one drink each.

Fancy radish is a wonderful and interesting food experience created by Chef Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby. All the dishes are delicately assembled. They look beautiful and taste even better. I love food that is different and adventurous. Fancy radish distinguishes itself with its beautifully presented and delicious food. The cocktails are amazing. The portions are small. I would advise ordering two per person and sharing them. The deserts are incredible. It is a vegan restaurant but I don’t think that you miss any flavors because the food is just so awesome. It’s fusion cuisine featuring dishes like Peruvian potatoes and Dan Dan noodles. There is a parking garage just opposite. The restaurant itself is fairly small. The staff are charming. I would not hesitate to visit again but it is expensive so it would need to be a special occasion.

I tried Life Bistro out for the first time yesterday. I ordered the sweet and sour oyster mushrooms and a couple of other items. I did an online order for pick up (no dine in). My main reason for not being satisfied is that the oyster mushrooms were not fresh. They tasted like I was eating mainly batter and I really couldn't taste the mushroom. I'm not sure if the sauce that comes with these is sweet chilli sauce. I just know I asked for a side of sweet chili sauce(which I paid extra for) and that was the only sauce I had in my bag. Shame on me for not pulling out all of the contents in my bag and thoroughly inspecting. I should've taken a photo to include in this review. 🤦🏾‍♀️

A very different and interesting experience. The food was hot and delicious. It was also flavorful. The rasta pasta was very good and the zucchini fries were really tasty. The collard green were different and I was told that it was due to the spices that they used. They were not your typical collards greens but they were very tasty. I do want to go back and try a few other food items and also the desserts.

Lovely 8 course vegetarian tasting menu dinner at this conveniently located restaurant. I had allergies and we are both vegetarian. They catered for us well as I had given my restrictions in advance. Some of the meals were tastier than others but each course had something unique to offer. My wife and I celebrated our 6th year anniversary, 40th birthday and us being 6 months pregnant. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted with a warm reception and genuine happiness for all of our amazing news. We were then seated in an intimate and homely setting (more my style of dinning) the service was impeccable and the servers were knowledgeable and professional whilst also being human. My wife had the Vegan menu which was incredible except for the Vegan cheese (avoid at all cost) I opted for the meat course which apart from having my own preferences was outstanding from start to finish. We were well and truly full after such an epic meal. Would highly recomend

Booked a table for a birthday celebration. Ordered the 10 course tasting menu (vegetarian and carnist) the food and service were impeccable. The owner can to our table and served one of the courses which was a nice touch. We finished the meal with a glass of pineau. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a high quality dining experience.

Pied A Terre's customer service is completely excellent. After a mistake in our dining experience the first time we visited, the entire team took pains to make it up to me and my partner and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure our experience of the restaurant wasn't sullied. The food is fantastic- we had the 10 course vegan menu and various cocktails and whiskey and it was all top quality, and truly delicious. The veg used packed a flavourful punch and the creative presentations almost looked too good to eat. A big thank you to David, Ciara, and Ciaran, as well as the rest of the staff present last night who truly gave use a special dining experience. I'll be recommending Pied A Terre to any friends who would like to experience some of the best food and atmosphere London has to offer.

Every single thing was perfect and the wine pairings were exceptional. It was a celebration dinner for my mum’s 60th and they made her feel so special. We were so well looked after from the minute we entered the restaurant ☺️

An extraordinary dining experience at Pied à Terre! In celebration of a friend's 40th birthday, we indulged in the tasting menu, exquisitely paired with flight of wine. Each dish was a revelation, offering flavours and textures I've never encountered before. The sommelier demonstrated exceptional expertise, introducing us to an array of wines that were both unfamiliar and remarkable. For those in pursuit of a culinary adventure, Pied à Terre is a must-visit destination, offering a unique gastronomic delight for true food enthusiasts.

We celebrated our anniversary. Once I entered the restaurant the staff noticed my pregnancy and suggested me the alternative options suitable for pregnant women. We can enjoy and rely on this restaurant without any concerns. Decoration was amazing.

Suckling pig starter was very tender, perfectly paired with smoked eel and crisp sweet cabbage. Octopus starter was average, slightly lacking in flavour for me. Main of red mullet was a great combination of flavour and texture - hint of coconut fragrance, with both crisp & tender fish. Service was slightly uncoordinated, but polite none the less. Overall, decent food with friendly service! :)

This restaurant is phenomenal. The food was well presented and tasted just as good as it looked. You have to put all the elements together to get the full flavor out of the dish. The chef is amazing. As good as the food and the a atmosphere was, the servers were just as good as well. We had to add to the tip because the country standard is not enough.

We got the 10 courses tasting menu, was OK, not sure how got the 1 star michellin... Waiters need more training and be able to explain the dishes.

I had a very disappointing experience here. Given the price we paid and that it is a Michelin star restaurant, I expected there to be a higher standard than what you would get at another restaurant at the very least. Instead we had a poor experience which included asking for water top ups several times throughout our meal (one of us never had a top up the entire meal because they probably forgot), one of us requested something without sauce and the lady who served us seemed reluctant to accomodate and when we asked another waitress to assist with taking a photo, she was clearly impatient. The sommelier was lovely and helpful however, the general attitude of most of the wait staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. Unfortunately our enjoyment of the food was mostly overshadowed by this experience. The only saving factor was that owner David Moore and executive chef Asimakis had a good chat with us towards the end and gave us a tour of the kitchen which made the last bit fun and personal at least.

I can't thank the staff at Pied a Terre enough for making my wife's 40th birthday so memorable. They were so accommodating when I was forced to change my booking at very short notice, were able to adapt the menu to our gluten-free requirements and the food itself was absolutely amazing.

(Translated by Google) I always go to Mechelin-Star restaurants and have to say that the Pied a Terre was the least convincing. The dishes were prepared with little finesse and not very tasty. I also found it a shame that the associated wines were not explained particularly well. I like it when the sommelier can tell me something about the wine, but that was only the case to a limited extent in Pied a Terre. Unfortunately, the service was also only mediocre. Towards the end we were literally chased through the aisles and the area was cleaned up while we were still at dessert. Admittedly, we arrived quite late - 8.30am - but on the website it is described that you can get to 9am. Really a shame, but I cannot recommend the Pied a Terre.

Lives up to the hype. The setting is red, dark and broody. Service is exceptional, attentive and not intrusive. The disease imaginatively created. Ex, baby radishes served in a pot of soil (ground olives). The carrot soup, Jerusalem artichoke and seared halibut were all delicious. For dessert, try the raspberry "fancy name" tower, and the apple terrine. It is certainly a bit expensive, but imagination in cooking costs money. 😏

We went here and had the private room for a 40th birthday. The service was rubbish, the food was ok at best and you had better not go here with any dietary requirements - their effort to accommodate a gluten free menu was laughable. Amazing ALL VEGAN food and very attentive service! Best item on the menu was the Peruvian Potatoes!! The spicy sauce on the potatoes is so good. The fondue was also really good. My only feedback was to mix the menu up some. Many of the items seem to be deep fried. Maybe less fried foods? The dessert, Blackberry PB Cup was so delightful.

The Fancy Radish is a place that can turn me vegetarian. The way they infused flavors to make things taste like cheese blew my mind. Anyone who is or isn't vegetarian should try this place. It will change your perspective on eating meat. Even if for a moment.

Fancy Radish is the best restaurant in DC, vegan or not. The dishes are inspired, complex, exciting and consistent! The cocktails are perfection and the service is divine. Fancy Radish is my favorite place to dine, and 100% deserving of the Washington City Paper's "Best Vegan Restaurant" title. The "competition" down the block offers flavorless food with terrible service. I'm shocked they're still in business. I tell ALL my friends from out of town to eat at Fancy Radish, because I know it will impress. 10 Stars! Bravo!

The Fancy Radish is evidence that magic is possible, and that the people who design this menu and work in the kitchen are some type of food wizards. The house cocktails are amazing blends of flavor and smell, without detracting from the meal in any way. When you visit, don't limit yourself, try a cocktail or three, order an item from each section of the menu, and don't forget to save room for dessert! Be amazed as the magicians behind the scenes prepare for you what might be one of the best meals you've had, let alone the best vegetarian meal you've ever had. The seating can be isolated, or you can be in close proximity to your fellow diners, but it is not a bad thing to have strangers to share the wonder of the menu with. Even when I've come to the restaurant alone, people can't help but be curious what those around them decided to try that they are missing out on, and conversation comes easy over the absolutely delicious meals that can be had here.

Top-notch 100% vegan fine dining! This place is a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. The ambiance is cool, and the food is creative and flavorful. We ordered the entire farmer's table section of the menu, and also the maitake mushrooms, and dan dan noodles (very spicy, and tasty). Adam provided great service and accommodated slight modifications to the menu. Would definitely recommend for a nice evening out. And we had chocolate beignets with rosemary caramel sauce, and a blackberry pb cup... 5 stars!

My son turned 14 yeasterday. I planed a quiet dinner for 4 that some how turned in to 8. Fancy Radish accommodated us. This is a small intimate restaurant. I was so pleased because being vegan for the last 3 years has been a little difficult for a teenager. I wanted him to enjoy the experience of vegan sheared dining. The host was pleasant and helpful. The service was on point they worked together and knew exactly whom ordered what. The food does come out staggered. I liked that because the flavors are so different that you just want to taste everything! My son absolutely Love Love Loved the food! As I have dined at this location and V Street in Philadelphia I will continue to come back again and again. Thank you Fancy Radish and staff for helping to make my son's 14th Birthday a special one!

Holy wow!!! Went here for my wife’s birthday at her request. Had always heard good things but always was hard to get a last second reservation. Now I know why - this place is legit amazing. I’m not on meatless diet but you don’t even notice here. All of the food and flavors are spectacular. Nothing was a letdown. We absolutely loved the rutabaga fondue! It tasted a lot like my moms Czech “svitčkova”. The fancy radish, the Brussels, the mushrooms and the Dan dan noodles were all really good, I recommend them all. This place is a DC gem! Disappointing experience at the bar. The $14 cocktails were pre-mixed - unlike other bars in town that actually go to the trouble of crafting cocktails for their patrons. The staff was not very friendly and we definitely did not feel welcome. The food, however, was beautifully presented and truly outstanding.

Amazing! Both the service and the food were impeccable. My party ordered a host of plates and we were blown away by almost all of them. The beet toasts were my favorite, but the Maitake was also a highlight. The Fondue wasn’t particularly special, though the bread was quite tasty. The food was so good that I didn’t even remember to take a picture! That said, service was super helpful and fast - even on a packed Saturday! We didn’t have reservations, so we sat at the chefs counter. Since they couldn’t seat us by the end of our dinner, our server came out with complimentary dessert for our party, really thoughtful and wasn’t expecting it. I will definitely go back!

ORDER THE PUMPKIN CURRY!! The entire menu is vegetarian and it's so good you won't believe that until you look at the menu description and even more unbelievable after you taste the food because it's just as good as non-vegetarian food - there was no compromise! For the meat, they use vegetarian meat and is made of soy mostly. Here's my food recommendations: *PUMPKIN CURRY obviously! *Pad Thai *Tangerine "chicken" *Mixed Bean Larb *Fresh Spring roll You can't go wrong with ordering anything on the menu. It's practically impossible. Service is friendly too! Go give their food a try if you haven't. You'll wonder why you waited so long. Bring your meat-lovin friends! GO SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES!!

My family and I have visited this restaurant on many occasions in the past year, recently I noticed that not only has the food declined so has the customer service. I purchased food a few weeks ago, the taste was off ,but , because I previously loved this restaurant I decided to give it another chance. Yesterday I purchased food for my family and I ,and I need to say now , I will not return and because the young lady assisting me on the phone was so rude , I will also inform my family, friends and followers to be aware , and encourage them not to spend their hard earned money here. If this was the first time the food was tasteless, poorly made and the staff exhibited an arrogant disposition, I would be happy to give them another chance , but the service has shown gradual decline. So Plumeria take note, in this day and time when people are cautious of how they spend their money, it would benefit you to do your best to keep your doors open.

  • 4/5 Papaha G. 3 years ago on Google
I have enjoyed plumeria for many years and one of the main reasons is that they are very consistent with the quality and taste of my favorite dishes. The spicy noodle, See-ew and spicy basil are my three favorites. Unfortunately they do not have their own parking and that part of University Heights can be challenging especially during dinner hours. Once you are in the restaurant, though, the service is quite fast and the staff always makes a point to be friendly

A hidden gem located near Mission Valley in the heart of the village at university heights offering up some delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes with hearty portions, great prices, and friendly service. Had an absolutely fantastic time here on a Saturday night. The wait around 6pm looked to be less than 15 minutes for parties less than 4 so it's a great option if you didn't make reservations. Ordered the Pad Thai with tofu and was blown away by the large portion of noodles. Not a big fan of soy based meat substitutes like tofurky but their plain tofu was fried crispy and a perfect accompaniment to the rich and soft rice noodles. I do wish there was a little more bean sprouts to counteract the richness with some cool, crunchy, fresh pieces sprinkled throughout. Waiter was extremely patient with a party of 4 that wanted to split the payment in an unusual way. Overall, it's a great option for vegetarians and even meat lovers who want a break from the traditional proteins of choice. You might be impressed with what this place comes up with.

One of my top three Vegan restaurants. The food is great no matter if it's carry out or in restaurant. Their price point is very fair, better than most comparable Vegan Thai places. I just bounce around with the Curries or Pad Thai. My wife adores their Soups and Curries.

  • 2/5 Albert B. 3 years ago on Google
Average / Over Priced. One hour wait time. I asked for 10 out of 10 spicy . I would say it was a 6 spicy. This bowl was 14$ plus a tip . For takeout. I’m still hungry. Flavor wise it was decent but not the best I’ve ever had. Same with texture. Overall it is over priced . Would be more interested if it was 9$ plus a tip. At this price point I can get two of the best burritos you have ever had , or cook Thai at home for a fraction of the price. Staff was not super helpful.

An absolutely spectacular restaurant. For plant based eaters and sushi lovers a like. Don't miss this place and make sure to jump on the waiting list at 5:30 sharp on Yelp the day you're interesting in visiting if a reservation isn't available. You cannot go wrong with any of the specialty rolls and appetizers.

Smelled like a wet dog when we walked in at 11. Service pretty lousy and food bland. Food was fresh and clean, but need to spice things up.

The best new vegan restaurant in San Diego! Great drinks, tasty food, tasteful decor. It's usually packed, so be sure to make a reservation. Alternatively, you can do a walk-in and join the wait-list and grab a drink at the bar until your table is ready. Great for groups and they have some shared plates.

I was literally waiting 5 minutes on the phone to get service after someone told me to hold. And then someone hung up on me. And I called back and the call went straight to voicemail twice saying they are not closed. I don't know what's been up with their service lately at this location, but it sucks.

They should rename themselves to MSG-eria. Got MSG sickness here and you can taste it in the food. I’ll be fair and give them two stars instead of 1 because the food is decently fresh otherwise.

As a Vegan for the last 10 years i ate in a lot of great vegan restaurants but this one is the best!!! All dishes are delicious and my favorite one is the pad Thai with the duck meat. Service is super and i really the decoration. Highly recommended!!!

Food good particularly for vegan food but they packaged the food for Uber poorly with rice on bottom and other dishes perched on top. By the time it got to us three of the dishes had tilted over with all the sauces leaking out making a big unappealing mess.

First time eating here! I heard great things about plumeria and ALL of them are true. The food is great, the wait is short the portions are perfect! Vegan and non vegans enjoy it. I had my non vegan husband have some of what I got and he loved it more than what he ordered from the non vegan thai place across the street! He will now order from plumeria next time! I got the vegan duck spicy noodle level 3 for spice. A bit too spicy for me. So next time I will get a level 1 for spice. I dont like things too too spicy. The taste was amazing! So flavorful. I cant wait to eat again! Price was also good. Not too expensive. If you like drunken noodles this is basically a drunken noodle but one of the best I've tasted. If you have never tasted mock meat, this kinda tastes like meat. Very flavorful. Chewy like meat not like like tofu. Dont worry. You wont be disappointed. It's good. Just eat it!

We came here because of the Yelp reviews. This place is ridiculously busy and there's barely any parking. So quick tip, if you're super hungry..eat a small meal or a snack before going here because you will have to search for a parking spot and you're gonna have to wait in line. Last thing you want is to be HANGRY. We like the food but seems very ordinary. We had the crispy rolls and samosas. We also had the tangerine chicken, pad Thai, fried tofu. I prefer other vegan restaurants to be honest. I think we may have to go back again to try other items in the menu.

Very nice fine dining restaurant where we've been surprised with a different twist. The restaurant has two dining rooms, one more private than the other and different seatings, from face to face tables or more comfy ones with sofa etc. Food wise it's really genuine and tasty. They have different tasting menus, depending on number of courses, vegetarian, seasonal or long one. Service it's accurate, friendly and helpful. There's an extense wine list and pairing available. Definitely worth the try.

EV-ERY-THING WE ORDERED WAS 5 STARS! (And we ordered multiple items to try + I don’t give 5 ⭐️s easily) Perfect balance of seasoning ✅ Super friendly customer service ✅ Not too long of a wait time ✅ Relaxing ambiance ✅ Spot-on price points (ingredients are NOT cheap for high-quality vegan/alkaline recipes) ✅ Finally a place we can eat out, with high-end options that’s vegan/alkaline ✅ 🙌🏾 Looks like my husband and I are hooked. This is our new “spot.” Thank you for this restaurant, it’s so hard to find options like yours...it’s an absolute pleasure and blessing to have it. You only really understand that when you eat primarily vegan/alkaline...how much of a come-up this place is. Soooo glad I found it and ordered enough to take home more for dinner + lunch tomorrow. SUPER satisfied.

This is my absolute favorite spot in atlanta now. It’s a pleasure every time I stop by and I order delivery frequently. The flavors that come out of this kitchen are absolutely superb!! I also love that they’re alkaline-diet friendly. They make fresh vegan food look mind-blowing incredible!!

The Seafood Rasta Pasta is amazing! The greens were like some I've never tasted before! I flew in from Chicago determined to try this restaurant. I was very impressed that it was all alkaline too! Super pleased and highly recommended.

When it’s good it’s really good. However, this recent time I went food just seemed rushed. My Containers had holes in it, sweet spicy oysters had no sauce on them, and I barely had any portions it felt more like scarps. Sure it was just an off they though. Keep it up guys.

I’ve only patronized here once and got the seafood Rasta pasta which I ordered online for curbside pick up. The food honestly made me overlook the price and longer-than-quoted preparation time. I wish I could describe just how delicious and flavorful it tastes! The garnish on top really added so much to the flavor. The portion size was decent enough for me to have for two meals. I never knew of this place but plan to come back and try more menu items!

One of the best Vegan Restaurants in Atlanta. I was blown away when I walked through the doors. Its very nicely decorated and has a great atmosphere. The staff were extremely nice. The food was delicious. I had rasta pasta, zucchini fries, and fried portobello mushrooms. Nice portions and the flavors are delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu.

My daughter and I visited this restaurant today and we were NOT disappointed. This was our first visit and we enjoyed the food so much. My daughter is a picky eater and she didn't leave ANY of her vegan philly or fries on her plate/basket. My seafood rasta pasta was sooooooo good!😋 Neither of us are vegan, but wanted something differently for lunch. The food didn't even taste like it could be vegan. It was very favorable. I live east of Atlanta (Stone Mtn) and so happy that my drive to Life Bistro was not disappointing. Our server Laila (hope I spelled it right) was such a sweetie. I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer.

Food is tasty service is wonderful only issue for me is they claim to be an alkaline vegan restaurant that follows Dr. Sebi nutritional guide yet they serve black bean, black eye peas and other starch based items that dr. Sebi says are bad for us. They even have cupcakes with soy products in them....

By far the best vegan food that I have ever had in my life. Was I even eating vegan? Everything besides the wait for the food was perfect. When we entered, we were immediately acknowledged despite the employees being busy. There was low lighting and chill music playing. Upon informing the servers that it was our first visit, they gave us some of their most popular dishes. They were extremely knowledgeable about the food and process of making the creations. After ordering, it did take better 25-35 minutes to get our food. I was starting to get anxious but I'm so glad we waited. My niece had the Shrimp Alfredo Po' Boy with fries. It did not disappoint. She's a picky teenager and did NOT have any complaints. She even asked to return. My sister did the Nashville Hot Sliders. She was super satisfied. I had the Plant Based Burger with a side of Mac & Cheese. All I can say is WOW! This place is onto something. If you're seeking a good vibe and full stomach, go here. You will not be disappointed.

I love the atmosphere here. Great food, great staff, and awesome energy. I actually found this place on instagram after seeing a post they shared of what APPEARED to be a MASSIVE drippy, delicious chicken sandwich w all the fixings. Had to check the place out, and was blown away to find out that it was a totally VEGAN alkaline-friendly restaurant! Everything I’ve been waiting for here in ATL for soooo long! Check these guys out, you won’t regret it.

This place is SO GOOD! Hands down some of the most savory vegan food I’ve ever had. The Rasta Seafood Pasta is phenomenal. The konjac shrimp is so realistic and delicious and not made of fake meat, all plants! :) Mac n cheese was amazing. Our server Jackie was so sweet and welcoming. Great atmosphere and vibe.

We were 1 of 2 patrons dining in and the wait for nachos and fried oysters mushrooms was 40 mins. I could have been eating anything cuz the mushroom app was just a greasy fried mystery. The sauce was good though. My friend disliked the nachos. Said the "cheese" had an overpowering chipotle and nutty flavor. We were going to order entrees but decided that we couldn't wait another 40 minutes or longer. I will say that the pressed drinks were really tasty. My server, Day, was very knowledgeable and nice.

All I can say is wow. Life bistro has it all.The taste of the food alone feels like you're adding more years to your life & your body's thanking you for it. The ambience along with the music makes you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. Not to mention the Spicy Oyster Mushroom starter along with the Rasta Pasta & Zucchini Fries were well seasoned. Did I mention their foods are mostly alkaline & made fresh as well ? Oh & the restaurant owner is so humble, friendly & knowledgeable. I'll DEFINITELY be patronizing in the future

lots of the dishes are kind of remake/reinvent from Noma and other places, good foods overall but not good value for money. Far too expensive for what you get compared to others, that's why I only gave 3 stars.

  • 3/5 Lexi M. 2 years ago on Google
I wasn't very keen on the overall ambience of their public dining space. It looked like they just opened, like an old coat just got out of the heirloom closet. It was too cramped up, the interior display and design was not visually entertaining. The sommelier seemed generic, the recommendation was just submissive. No independent input, whatsoever. The ten-course dinner was all over the place in terms of presentation. The theme was unstructured. The table cloth was rough. I don't feel the vibe. However, I feel full. It was satisfying but didn't really exceed expectations. Going up the toilet was suffocating with creaky stairs. I don't remember going out smelling fresh. There's no wow factor. It didn't really provide me a feeling of security to be fed and watered, like a place for comfort and relaxation. Just got really bored. And to think I was the earliest and the only one in that restaurant for a good while. When it started gathering more people as the night progressed as I was about to exit, I kept bumping into someone else's chair.

At £528.75 for two (tasting menu with matching wines and service) the meal and service was simply not up to scratch. At this price - it must be perfect. It wasn’t.

Excellent and interesting food. It's really amazing to see a French restaurant produce such good vegan options. Top service, particularly Chanel, the Head Sommelier, who was fun and very knowledgeable. Pictures don't do the food justice due to low light.

Outstanding! We had the 10 course vegetarian dinner menu (perhaps two courses more than were needed for us personally) and nearly every mouthful went beyond the expectations of when you think of Pied à Terre. Highlight were the Eggs Kayianna in the capanés, the Summer Tomato Salad for starters (tomato sorbet was something else!) and the Baked Soy Bean Terrine for mains. Desserts were light and refreshing, with the only disappointment being the rather sub-par olive oil and vanilla macaron (both were dry and crunchy, rather than soft, gooey and slightly crisp). Overall, an experience that must be had and shared! Even managed to snap a selfie with Exec Chef Asimakis as he was doing the rounds. Special mentions must go to Kieran and Sam for their incredible knowledge and table hospitality throughout the evening.

Amazing vegan/vegetarian fine dining restaurant. Came for a belated birthday lunch with my grandma and mum. I am vegan/vegetarian and my mum and grandma don’t eat pork or shellfish. The menus were explained very clearly by staff as they can be a little confusing at first. Happy to accommodate a few switches between the Regular and veggie/vegan menus. The canapés were delicious and each element was explained for us the reasoning behind it. It made for a fun start to the meal and broke any stiffness that you sometimes find in Michelin dining. For the vegan starter I had the tomato summer salad with a tomato sorbet. It was very refreshing and light and presented cleanly. My main was the vegan carbonara and I could not stop talking about it for the whole day. Incredibly moreish and indulgent and even a non-vegan would enjoy the taste of this. For dessert was the honey parfait. This was not vegan but still enjoyable. The only part I didn’t enjoy was the fresh honeycomb on the side but that is personal preference nothing against the dish. Petit fours were classic and very well executed. Overall a wonderful experience with a great FOH team that are a credit to the restaurant. Couldn’t recommend it enough and will be back to try the vegan tasting menu with my partner.

Been there for our anniversary in December 2022, had a lovely experience! French cuisine with a Greek-Mediterranean twist is all you can hope for for a happy meal, which also uniquely positions this place among other Michelin-starred restaurants. The atmosphere is chique but the warm attitude of the personnel makes it a cosy place rather than a cold, ultra-professional environment. Perfect for a date or family-friends gathering. We tried 6-course and 8-course lunch tasting menus and can't recommend enough. p.s. very kind of you to offer us some post-desserts for the anniversary 😇
