TLDR; good value happy hour drinks and delish food but a bit of patience goes along way as the restaurant is a bit under staffed. Came here for happy hour when drinks are 2 for 1 on weekdays before 6pm. Very respectable cocktails with a Venezuela twist but nothing too mind blowing. Fried chicken was delicious with the right mount of spiciness. Unfortunately have to take a star off for the wait time. Despite being happy hour the bartender was apparently on a break and we had to wait 30+ mins for our drinks.

Simple “Venezuela have one of the best Menu in the whole world” and having a place like Arepa & Co. It is one of the best privileges to show people around London. What I love about this particular restaurant has the place where is. You can go for a nice walk along the canal after having a good food. 100% recommend it. Stay away from fizzy drinks and stick to natural juices. Enjoy!

Really good Venezuelan food! The place is very nice and has a nice view to the river. The cachapa had a really delicious twist and the arepa fillings were delicious, specially the black beans! We obviously had to order tequeños and they were incredibly good.

The food was lovely especially the black beans, rice and veggie option. Also the Yam fully loaded pieces was heavenly. They have some great deals during the week if you pop in around lunch time or before 4pm. Service was good and the waitress was happy to answer the 101 questions. 😀😅 I'd say the only down fall would be the toilet situation. Sort that out and you'd of been given an excellent 5*. Otherwise it's a 4 from me. Loved the food though.

Nice place, but arepas could be better, at least bigger. I ordered the famous one, but was not so awesome. Maybe it has a lot of ingredients but anyone has a powerful taste; additionally is so small. However, the service was so good! And the place is nice with beautiful view indeed.

I was with my family on Sunday for lunch at this restaurant. It wasn't busy so we didn't have to wait long for our orders. Venezuelan style interior design, a very nice view of the water canal from the window, there were also tables outside. We ordered Yuca Fries, Bunuelos and Fried Chicken for starters (originally, Fried Chicken is slightly spicy, but we asked for it to be unspiced because our little daughter was going to eat it, and that's what we got). Yuca fries were delicious! Bunuelos was also very tasty as was the fried chicken. For the main course we took Arepa Pollo Frio and Arepa Pernil. Although the Arepas portions were not large, it was very filling and tasty. For dessert we ordered Tres Leches which was also ok but a bit too sweet for me. I think that lovers of very sweet desserts will definitely like it. The juices were very good! Unfortunately, the downside of the restaurant is that there is only one toilet that you enter directly from the restaurant, so most of the time we were in the restaurant, there was a queue for the toilet, and our table was right next to this queue, so people stood right at our table while we ate. It wasn't very comfortable. In addition, the toilet was dirty, there was no hand soap and toilet paper, although the staff also used this toilet and probably saw its condition. The staff was kind. Overally, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant, the food wad tasty, the prices were affordable, the downside was cleanliness of the toilet!

I often order the cachapa from this place which is my favourite dish from them. Very tasty if u don't mind spending £11+ for one.

I would definitely recommend the Arepas and Tequeños of this restaurant, they have a great approach to and a variety of Venezuelan dishes using the UK ingredient availability. The venue has an astonishing beautiful view and is decorated with a few folk traditional stuff (I like the evil masks by the walls) and coulors. If you like to share with family or friends, I would suggest cocktails (Guarapita, Cuba libre, etc.) I do like rum, so they have a PapeRum that basically is a nice jug cocktail. However, if you are more British/European style, they have a wide range of food and drink options representative of the Venezuelan/European cultural mix heritage. In a nutshell, there are many options such as vegan, vegetarian, or none of these, on their menu.

Really tasty food! Unique, arrives very hot and fresh and relatively quickly. There is air conditioning which is amazing! It was 33 degrees outside but chilly inside. Service was fine. Cons: There was no soap in the toilet and employees used it multiple times so they knew but didn’t fix it… also toilet was a bit messy. No cellular reception but there is WiFi.

My friend booked a table for a Saturday evening. Table was booked quite early 6.30 pm so when we arrived was not busy, there was just another table (8 peeps approx). We ordered pretty fast but out bad luck was that we ordered just few minutes after the big table and due to this we had to wait more than 40 minutes for our food. Meals arrived and they were delicious, arepas very tasty! At the end of the dinner the waiter offer us a dessert to share on the house as apologies to have waited so much. Staff is lovely and the place has few tables outdoor which are in a beautiful position if the sun is out! Food is great and real Venezuelan. Highly recommended!

Tasty food with authentic flavours - tequeños are a must! Unfortunately the staff were quite busy talking to their friends and didn’t seem to care about the customers. Also despite there being arepas with shredded chicken and fried chicken on the menu for the same price, the waiter refused to let us mix up some of the fillings. This is strange as the whole point of arepas is to fill them with the things you like! And we left pretty miffed with our experience.

Cachapa pernil and beef arepa were bomb. Don't pass on the yucca chips as a starter either because that garlic mayo is like heaven. Super friendly staff and really great location.

I went there with my friend for dinner. We went there around 7.30 in the evening. It was a bit empty at the point however it got quite busy while we were there. We started with a tequenos. It’s a cheese filled delight that tasted amazing. We followed that on with cachapas. I had a chicken and a pork one. The food was really tasty however the portions were quite small. The food is really tasty but the portions are quite small. The staff is friendly and place has a chill vibe. Definitely recommend going here.

    - cappuccino £3.60 (+ 0.50 for oat milk) - arepa pernil £9.95 - dirty yuca £13.75 first time trying venezulan food and it was a hit!! the location of this branch in particular was sooo lovely as we got a seat by the window facing the canal so that def added to the experience🥹 now onto the FOOD🍽️ the arepa itself was quite small but generously packed with flavourful pork, salsa and guac so it was overall filling. it came with a sauce of your choice and the staff recommended the garlic mayo which was nice but id get a spicy one next time for a bit of kick. the yuca fries were also a good portion but could’ve done with more meat bc it was 80% fries but at the same time we LOVED the fries so not a major complaint 😅 some fresh salsa or guac would’ve helped balance out the dish too bc it did get heavy and greasy towards the end but overall we loved both these dishes and def want to try more venezuelan food (and latin american food in general)! 😋

Canal side casual dining with good Venezuelan food. I don't have a benchmark with other Venezuelan food but I definitely love their dishes. Great location and friendly staff too.

Food was so good! My friends loved it. Full of flavours, fresh, different from things we tried before. I recommend and Arepa (pork one was amazing 😋), a starter (fried chicken with guava or plantain with cheese both great). Finally, the guava juice is super! Friendly service and lovely location by the canals. I'll be back for sure!

Very tasty Venezuelan food, offered as small dishes or mains. For brunch, breakfasts with traditional Venezuelan ingredients are offered. Most dishes are gluten free (yay!), vegetarian and vegan options available. On the canal side, has a large glass front overlooking the water and some outdoor space

Great location by the Canal, amazing food and cocktails, everything was excellent. On top the service was very kind and efficient. One of the best Venezuelans restaurants I had the pleasure to taste in London.

A really nice evening. Service was efficient and friendly. The food was great, fairly priced. The cocktails weren't cheap but we're also good. Catering for coeliac is great - waiters were happy to help and shared allergen menu. Will be returning!

Amazing place. The view on the canal is so relaxing and the food is original and delicious. It is definetly the top 3 best pancakes I ever had in my life. The Bloody Mary was fresh and spicy, and the sun coming by the window made the moment in this place speechless. Thank you so much !

Delicious Venezuelan food, I've never had cassava chips before and the texture was so good - fried but with this interesting middle. The corn pancake style main course was really nice, and the areppa is a classic that ive had elsewhere but was also really nice

Located on an unassuming side street next to a council estate lies a Venezuelan restaurant that punches above its weight. The restaurant itself is intimate and has limited indoor and outdoor seating with scenic views of the canal. Being a vegetarian I was apprehensive about coming but the food tasted great and opened my palate to this cuisine. The Tequenos had a crispy pasty and were filled with a steaming, oozy, almost buttery cheese, being a perfect partner for the accompanying fruit chutney. The Triple Cheese Cachapa was deliciously crispy and came with a sticky sugarcane syrup. The accompanying side salad had a strong dressing which worked well when eaten with the sweetcorn pancake. Dress code: casual Cost: ££ Service: friendly but food came out slowly Ambience: Trendy and Congested

Good service. I had the venezuelan breakfast which was quite bland. Sides of grilled cheese and yukka chips had more flavours and textures and we're delicious. The plain arepa that came with the breakfast was nice and crisp, and good tea. Also spied a dog, so friendly for the puppers. I'll be back but wouldn't order the brekky again. Aircon was quite cold, view across canal was really lovely, such a nice setting. Bill for 2 was £50 so bit spenny for it to become a regular haunt.

Cute little Venezuelan restaurant with delicious food at a beautiful riverside. The staff is super nice. Nothing else to add really. The location is perfect. Located at a quite road directly at a small river with a pretty viney house just across the water. Maybe a little hard to find by chance, but definitely worth checking out when stumbling across it. The food is absolutely delicious. I've never had Venezuelan before and unfortunately it's my last day in London, else I would have come here again. I definitely will when I happen to be in London again. We were a group of 7 people and had pretty much all starters. We all agreed that all of them were fantastic. After raising the bar the expectations for the main dishes were high. And we weren't disappointed. It may sound ridiculous and it surely feels so writing this out. But the food was the best I've had in a very long time. I can't even pinpoint certain things. It just was everything. The great staff, the beautiful location, the terrific food. For all of that the price is pretty fair as well. London is a bit more expensive than other cities, so in comparison to other restaurants this definitely offers quite a bit more for the same amount of money. Even if it may sound like it, this review wasn't bought or anything. I wish :D But seriously, do yourself a favour and try it out. Either you just aren't into that kind of food, or you will love it. I definitely did!

Delicious, authentic Latin American food. Super friendly staff and a great spot by the canal. I highly recommend the Tequeños, Buñuelos, Cachapa Pabellón and the Tres Leches dessert.

A hidden gem in the heart of one of London's coolest areas. Brunch with a backdrop of the gorgeous Regent's Canal in a super cosy, well-decorated nook. The food was absolutely mind-blowing, thanks to the influence of authentic chefs. Each condiment and part of the dish was perfectly cooked. Definitely took me right back to my days in Latin America! If you like Venezuelan (or really any) food, you will love this place.

Great Venezuelan flavours and dishes. Very attentive staff. Clean toilets and accessible for disabled. Located by the staircase that leads down to the canal. Warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Quick service and rather affordable. Street parking available. Good coffee as well. Overall, a very positive experience. I’d recommend to anyone who’s open to try out new cuisines.
